And when Satan made their deeds seem fair to them and said: No-one of mankind can conquer you this day, for I am your protector. But when the armies came in sight of one another, he took flight, saying: Lo! I am guiltless of you. Lo! I see that which ye see not. Lo! I fear Allah. When Satan made their deeds seem decorous to them, and said [to the faithless], [No one shall overcome you today from among all mankind, and I will stand by you.] But when the two hosts sighted each other, he took to his heels, saying, [Indeed I am quit of you. Satan made their (pagans') deeds seem attractive to them and said to them, [No one today is more powerful than you and I am your supporter.] But when the two armies confronted one another and the pagans were defeated, then satan betrayed his friends saying, [I am not with you any more; I see what you do not see and I am afraid of God.] God is severe in His retribution. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور اس وقت کو یاد کرو جب شیطان نے ان کے لئے ان کے اعمال کو آراستہ کردیا اور کہا کہ آج کوئی تم پر غالب آنے والا نہیں ہے اور میں تمہارا مددگار ہوں -اس کے بعد جب دونوں گروہ آمنے سامنے آئے تو الٹے پاؤں بھاگ نکلا اور کہا کہ میں تم لوگوں سے بری ہوں میں وہ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم نہیں دیکھ رہے ہو اور میں اللہ سے ڈرتا ہوں کہ وہ سخت عذاب کرنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ذرا خیال کرو اس وقت کا جب کہ شیطان نے ان لوگوں کے کرتوت ان کی نگاہوں میں خوشنما بنا کر دکھائے تھے اور ان سے کہا تھا کہ آج کوئی تم پر غالب نہیں آ سکتا اور یہ کہ میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں مگر جب دونوں گروہوں کا آمنا سامنا ہوا تو وہ اُلٹے پاؤں پھر گیا اور کہنے لگا کہ میرا تمہارا ساتھ نہیں ہے، میں وہ کچھ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم لوگ نہیں دیکھتے، مجھے خدا سے ڈر لگتا ہے اور خدا بڑی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جبکہ شیطان نے ان کی نگاہ میں ان کے کام بھلے کر دکھائے اور بولا آج تم پر کوئی شخص غالب آنے والا نہیں اور تم میری پناہ میں ہو تو جب دونوں لشکر آمنے سامنے ہوئے الٹے پاؤں بھاگا اور بولا میں تم سے الگ ہوں میں وہ دیکھتا ہوں جو تمہیں نظر نہیں آتا میں اللہ سے ڈرتا ہوں اور اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور وہ وقت یاد کرو جب شیطان نے ان کے اعمال ان کے لئے آراستہ کر دیئے (انہیں خوشنما کرکے دکھایا) اور کہا آج کے دن لوگوں میں سے کوئی بھی تم پر غالب آنے والا نہیں ہے۔ اور میں تمہارا حامی ہوں۔ پھر جب دونوں جماعتیں آمنے سامنے ہوئیں تو وہ الٹے پاؤں واپس ہوا اور کہا میں تم سے بری الذمہ ہوں۔ میں وہ کچھ دیکھ رہا ہوں جو تم نہیں دیکھ رہے میں اللہ سے ڈرتا ہوں۔ اور اللہ بڑی سخت سزا دینے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
