ٱلْحَمْدُ
All the power and praise is
لِلَّهِ
for the One
ٱلَّذِى
— the Entity
لَهُۥ
for Whom is
مَا
what is
فِى
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
وَمَا
and what is
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land —
وَلَهُ
and for Him
ٱلْحَمْدُ
all the power and praise
فِى
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
the forthcoming;
ۚ
وَهُوَ
and He is
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the Wise,
ٱلْخَبِيرُ
the Informed.
٣٤
١
ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ All the power and praise is for the One — the Entity for Whom is what is in the heavens and what is in the land — and for Him all the power and praise in the forthcoming; and He is the Wise, the Informed.

Praise be to Allah, unto Whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. His is the praise in the Hereafter, and He is the Wise, the Aware. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

All praise belongs to Allah to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth. To Him belongs all praise in the Hereafter, and He is the All-wise, the All-aware. - Qarai, Ali Quli

سب خوبیاں اللہ کو کہ اسی کا مال ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں اور آخرت میں اسی کی تعریف ہے اور وہی ہے حکمت والا خبردار، - Ahmed Raza

He knows
مَا

يَلِجُ
penetrates
فِى

ٱلْأَرْضِ
the Earth
وَمَا
and what
يَخْرُجُ

مِنْهَا
from it,
وَمَا
and what
يَنزِلُ
comes down
مِنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the heaven,
وَمَا
and what
يَعْرُجُ
ascends
فِيهَا
into it;
ۚ
وَهُوَ
and He is
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
the Safe-keeper,
ٱلْغَفُورُ
the Forgiver.
٣٤
٢
يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلْغَفُورُ He knows what penetrates in the Earth and what emits from it, and what comes down from the heaven, and what ascends into it; and He is the Safe-keeper, the Forgiver.

He knoweth that which goeth into the earth and that which cometh forth from it, and that descendeth from the heaven and that which ascendeth into it. He is the Merciful, the Forgiving. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

جانتا ہے جو کچھ زمین میں جاتا ہے اور جو زمین سے نکلتا ہے اور جو آسمان سے اترتا ہے اور جو اس میں چڑھتا ہے اور وہی ہے مہربان بخشنے والا، - Ahmed Raza

وَقَالَ
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial,
لَا
[Not
تَأْتِينَا
will reach us
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
the hour.]
ۖ
قُلْ
Say,
بَلَىٰ
[On the contrary,
وَرَبِّى
and my Rabb
لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ
will bring to you
عَٰلِمِ
state of
ٱلْغَيْبِ
the unseen;
ۖ
لَا
not
يَعْزُبُ
is hidden
عَنْهُ
from Him
مِثْقَالُ
importance of
ذَرَّةٍۢ
a tiniest particle
فِى
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the atmospheres
وَلَا
and not
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land,
وَلَآ
and not (is hidden of)
أَصْغَرُ
that is even tinier
مِن
than
ذَٰلِكَ
that
وَلَآ
and not
أَكْبَرُ
that is bigger,
إِلَّا
except is
فِى
in
كِتَٰبٍۢ
a book
مُّبِينٍۢ
having clarity.]
٣٤
٣
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَأْتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ ۖ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ عَٰلِمِ ٱلْغَيْبِ ۖ لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍۢ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ And said the ones who are in denial, [Not will reach us the hour.] Say, [On the contrary, and my Rabb will bring to you state of the unseen; not is hidden from Him importance of a tiniest particle in the atmospheres and not in the land, and not (is hidden of) that is even tinier than that and not that is bigger, except is in a book having clarity.]

Those who disbelieve say: The Hour will never come unto us. Say: Nay, by my Lord, but it is coming unto you surely. (He is) the Knower of the Unseen. Not an atom's weight, or less than that or greater, escapeth Him in the heavens or in the earth, but it is in a clear Record, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The faithless say, [The Hour will not overtake us.] Say, [Yes, indeed it will surely overtake you, by my Lord,] the Knower of the Unseen; not [even] an atom]s weight escapes Him in the heavens or in the earth, nor [is there] anything smaller than that nor bigger, but it is in a manifest Book, - Qarai, Ali Quli

The disbelievers have said, [There will be no Hour of Doom.] Say, [By my Lord, it certainly will come. My Lord knows the unseen. Not even an atom's weight in the heavens or the earth remains hidden from Him. Nothing exists greater or smaller than this without its record in the illustrious Book. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who disbelieve say: The hour shall not come upon us. Say: Yea! by my Lord, the Knower of the unseen, it shall certainly come upon you; not the weight of an atom becomes absent from Him, in the heavens or in the earth, and neither less than that nor greater, but (all) is in a clear book - Shakir, Habib

Those who deny the truth declare, [The Hour will never come upon us.] Say, [Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come upon you! Who knows the unseen. Not the smallest particle in the heavens or the earth, or anything less or greater than that escapes Him; all is recorded in an open Book. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور کفّار کہتے ہیں کہ قیامت آنے والی نہیں ہے تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ میرے پروردگار کی قسم وہ ضرور آئے گی وہ عالم الغیب ہے اس کے علم سے آسمان و زمین کا کوئی ذرّہ دور نہیں ہے اور نہ اس سے چھوٹا اور نہ بڑا بلکہ سب کچھ اس کی روشن کتاب میں محفوظ ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

منکرین کہتے ہیں کہ کیا بات ہے کہ قیامت ہم پر نہیں آ رہی ہے! کہو، قسم ہے میرے عالم الغیب پروردگار کی، وہ تم پر آ کر رہے گی اُس سے ذرہ برابر کوئی چیز نہ آسمانوں میں چھپی ہوئی ہے نہ زمین میں نہ ذرے سے بڑی اور نہ اُس سے چھوٹی، سب کچھ ایک نمایاں دفتر میں درج ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کافر بولے ہم پر قیامت نہ آئے گی تم فرماؤ کیوں نہیں میرے رب کی قسم بیشک ضرور آئے گی غیب جاننے والا اس سے غیب نہیں ذرہ بھر کوئی چیز آسمانوں میں اور نہ زمین میں اور نہ اس سے چھوٹی اور نہ بڑی مگر ایک صاف بتانے والی کتاب میں ہے - Ahmed Raza

اور کافر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم پر قیامت نہیں آئے گی آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ وہ ضرور آئے گی مجھے قَسم ہے اپنے پروردگار کی جو عالم الغیب ہے جس سے آسمانوں اور زمین کی ذرہ برابر کوئی چیز پوشیدہ نہیں ہے اور نہ اس (ذرہ) سے کوئی چھوٹی چیز ہے اور نہ بڑی مگر وہ کتابِ مبین میں (درج) ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

لِّيَجْزِىَ
To make satisfactory payment to
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
have conviction
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
the constructive things;
ۚ
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
لَهُم
for whom is
مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ
forgiveness
وَرِزْقٌۭ
and provision
كَرِيمٌۭ
that is generous.
٣٤
٤
لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌۭ وَرِزْقٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ To make satisfactory payment to the ones who have conviction and did the constructive things; those are for whom is forgiveness and provision that is generous.

That He may reward those who believe and do good works. For them is pardon and a rich provision. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

that He may reward those who have faith and do righteous deeds.] For such there will be forgiveness and a noble provision. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
God will certainly reward the righteously striving believers. These are the ones who will receive forgiveness and honorable sustenance. - Sarwar, Muhammad

That He may reward those who believe and do good; these it is for whom is forgiveness and an honorable sustenance. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
He will surely reward those who believe and do good deeds: they shall have forgiveness and an honourable provision.] - Wahiduddin Khan

تاکہ وہ ایمان لانے والے اور نیک اعمال انجام دینے والوں کو جزا دے کہ ان کے لئے مغفرت اور باعزّت رزق ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور یہ قیامت اس لئے آئے گی کہ جزا دے اللہ اُن لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائے ہیں اور نیک عمل کرتے رہے ہیں اُن کے لیے مغفرت ہے اور رزق کریم - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
تاکہ صلہ دے انہیں جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے یہ ہیں جن کے لیے بخشش ہے اور عزت کی روزی - Ahmed Raza
⦿
(اور قیامت اس لئے آئے گی) تاکہ خدا ان لوگوں کو جزا دے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کئے یہی وہ (خوش قسمت) لوگ ہیں جن کیلئے بخشش اور باعزت رزق ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَٱلَّذِينَ
And the ones who
سَعَوْ
try to pursue
فِىٓ
in
ءَايَٰتِنَا
Our signs
مُعَٰجِزِينَ
of miracles,
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
لَهُمْ
for whom is
عَذَابٌۭ
a punishment
مِّن
of
رِّجْزٍ
filth,
أَلِيمٌۭ
of suffering.
٣٤
٥
وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوْ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ مِّن رِّجْزٍ أَلِيمٌۭ And the ones who try to pursue in Our signs of miracles, those are for whom is a punishment of filth, of suffering.
⦿
But those who strive against Our revelations, challenging (Us), theirs will be a painful doom of wrath. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
But those who contend with Our signs seeking to frustrate [their purpose], for such is a painful punishment due to defilement. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
However, those who try to challenge Our revelations will face the most painful torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And (as for) those who strive hard in opposing Our communications, these it is for whom is a painful chastisement of an evil kind. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
But those who strive against Our signs, trying to defeat them, will suffer a painful torment. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیتوں کے مقابلہ میں دوڑ دھوپ کی ان کے لئے دردناک سزا کا عذاب معّین ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
اور جن لوگوں نے ہماری آیات کو نیچا دکھانے کے لیے زور لگایا ہے، ان کے لیے بدترین قسم کا دردناک عذاب ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور جنہوں نے ہماری آیتوں میں ہرانے کی کوشش کی ان کے لیے سخت عذاب دردناک میں سے عذاب ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور جو لوگ ہماری آیتوں کے بارے میں (انہیں جھٹلا کر ہمیں) ہرانے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں یہی وہ (بدبخت) لوگ ہیں جن کیلئے سخت قسم کا دردناک عذاب ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَيَرَى
And will see
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
أُوتُوا۟
have been given
ٱلْعِلْمَ
the knowledge of
ٱلَّذِىٓ
that which is
أُنزِلَ
sent down
إِلَيْكَ
to you
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Rabb
هُوَ
(that) it is
ٱلْحَقَّ
the fact,
وَيَهْدِىٓ
and guides
إِلَىٰ
towards
صِرَٰطِ
path of
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
the Fortified,
ٱلْحَمِيدِ
the Most Powerful.
٣٤
٦
وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَيَهْدِىٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ And will see the ones who have been given the knowledge of that which is sent down to you from your Rabb (that) it is the fact, and guides towards path of the Fortified, the Most Powerful.

Those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the truth and leadeth unto the path of the Mighty, the Owner of Praise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
Those who have been given knowledge see that what has been sent down to you from your Lord is the truth and [that] it guides to the path of the All-mighty, the All-laudable. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Those who have been given knowledge will see that whatever has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth and that it guides to the straight path of the Majestic and Praiseworthy One. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And those to whom the knowledge has been given see that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, that is the truth, and it guides into the path of the Mighty, the Praised. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Those who have been given knowledge know that what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and that it guides to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy. - Wahiduddin Khan

And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
denied,
هَلْ
[Shall
نَدُلُّكُمْ
we direct you all
عَلَىٰ
upon
رَجُلٍۢ
a man who
يُنَبِّئُكُمْ
conveys to you
إِذَا
when
مُزِّقْتُمْ
you will be torn apart
كُلَّ
completely
مُمَزَّقٍ
shredded
إِنَّكُمْ
in order for you
لَفِى
to be in
خَلْقٍۢ
a creation
جَدِيدٍ
that is new?]
٣٤
٧
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هَلْ نَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍۢ يُنَبِّئُكُمْ إِذَا مُزِّقْتُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى خَلْقٍۢ جَدِيدٍ And said the ones who denied, [Shall we direct you all upon a man who conveys to you when you will be torn apart completely shredded in order for you to be in a creation that is new?]

Those who disbelieve say: Shall we show you a man who will tell you (that) when ye have become dispersed in dust with most complete dispersal still, even then, ye will be created anew? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The faithless say, [Shall we show you a man who will inform you [that] when you have been totally rent to pieces you will indeed have a new creation? - Qarai, Ali Quli

The unbelievers have said, [Should we tell you about a man who says that you will be brought back to life again after your having been completely disintegrated? - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who disbelieve say: Shall we point out to you a man who informs you that when you are scattered the utmost scattering you shall then be most surely (raised) in (to) a new creation? - Shakir, Habib

Those who deny the truth say, [Shall we point out to you a man who will tell you that when you are broken up into particles, you will be put together again in a new creation? - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا ان کا کہنا ہے کہ ہم تمہیں ایسے آدمی کا پتہ بتائیں جو یہ خبر دیتا ہے کہ جب تم مرنے کے بعد ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہوجاؤ گے تو تمہیں نئی خلقت کے بھیس میں لایا جائے گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

Invents
عَلَى
upon
ٱللَّهِ
the One
كَذِبًا
a lie,
أَم
or is
بِهِۦ
regarding him of
جِنَّةٌۢ
madness?
ۗ
بَلِ
On the contrary,
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
لَا
do not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
have conviction
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
regarding the forth-coming
فِى
are in
ٱلْعَذَابِ
the punishment,
وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ
and (are in) misguidance
ٱلْبَعِيدِ
that has gone too far.
٣٤
٨
أَفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةٌۢ ۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ ٱلْبَعِيدِ Invents upon the One a lie, or is regarding him of madness? On the contrary, the ones who do not have conviction regarding the forth-coming are in the punishment, and (are in) misguidance that has gone too far.

Hath he invented a lie concerning Allah, or is there in him a madness? Nay, but those who disbelieve in the Hereafter are in torment and far error. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Has he fabricated a lie against Allah, or is there a madness in him?] Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter languish in punishment and extreme error. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Do then not
يَرَوْا۟
they see
إِلَىٰ

behind them
مِّنَ
of
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
the Earth?
ۚ
إِن
if
نَّشَأْ
We desired,
نَخْسِفْ
We could make swallowing
بِهِمُ
regarding them
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the Earth,
أَوْ
or
نُسْقِطْ
We could break
عَلَيْهِمْ
upon them
كِسَفًۭا
darkness
مِّنَ
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the sky;
ۚ
إِنَّ
assuredly
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ
is a sign
لِّكُلِّ
for every
عَبْدٍۢ
slave
مُّنِيبٍۢ
who acts as (His) deputy.
٣٤
٩
أَفَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ إِن نَّشَأْ نَخْسِفْ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ أَوْ نُسْقِطْ عَلَيْهِمْ كِسَفًۭا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّكُلِّ عَبْدٍۢ مُّنِيبٍۢ Do then not they see at what is between their hands, and what is behind them of the sky the Earth? if We desired, We could make swallowing regarding them the Earth, or We could break upon them darkness from the sky; assuredly in that is a sign for every slave who acts as (His) deputy.

Have they not observed what is before them and what is behind them of the sky and the earth? If We will, We can make the earth swallow them, or cause obliteration from the sky to fall on them. Lo! herein surely is a portent for every slave who turneth (to Allah) repentant. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Have they not regarded that which is before them and that which is behind them of the sky and the earth? If We like, We can make the earth swallow them, or let a fragment from the sky fall on them. There is indeed a sign in that for every penitent servant. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Have they not seen the heavens and the earth in front and behind them. Had We wanted, We could have caused the earth to swallow them up or made a part of the sky fall upon them. In this there is evidence (of the truth) for every repenting person. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Do they not then consider what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We please We will make them disappear in the land or bring down upon them a portion from the heaven; most surely there is a sign in this for every servant turning (to Allah). - Shakir, Habib

Do they not observe how they are encompassed by what is before them and what is behind them in heaven and on earth? We could, if We pleased, cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. In that certainly there is a sign for every servant of Ours who turns to us. - Wahiduddin Khan

کیا انہوں نے آسمان و زمین میں اپنے سامنے اور پس پشت کی چیزوں کو نہیں دیکھا ہے کہ ہم چاہیں تو انہیں زمین میں دھنسا دیں یا ان کے اوپر آسمان کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کرکے گرادیں. اس میں ہر رجوع کرنے والے بندہ کے لئے قدرت کی نشانی پائی جاتی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

کیا اِنہوں نے کبھی اُس آسمان و زمین کو نہیں دیکھا جو اِنہیں آگے اور پیچھے سے گھیرے ہوئے ہے؟ ہم چاہیں تو اِنہیں زمین میں دھسا دیں، یا آسمان کے کچھ ٹکڑے اِن پر گرا دیں در حقیقت اس میں ایک نشانی ہے ہر اُس بندے کے لیے جو خدا کی طرف رجوع کرنے والا ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

We gave to

Dawood
مِنَّا
from Us
فَضْلًۭا
a favour;
ۖ
يَٰجِبَالُ
— [O mountains!
أَوِّبِى
Reverb
مَعَهُۥ
along with him,
وَٱلطَّيْرَ
and the Aves (do the same)!] —
ۖ
وَأَلَنَّا
and We gentled
لَهُ
for him
ٱلْحَدِيدَ
the iron.
٣٤
١٠
وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًۭا ۖ يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ And certainly We gave to Dawood from Us a favour; — [O mountains! Reverb along with him, and the Aves (do the same)!] — and We gentled for him the iron.
⦿
And assuredly We gave David grace from Us, (saying): O ye hills and birds, echo his psalms of praise! And We made the iron supple unto him, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly We gave David our grace: [O mountains and birds, chime in with him!] And We made iron soft for him, - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
We granted David a favor by commanding the mountains and birds to sing Our praise along with him and softened iron for him - Sarwar, Muhammad

And certainly We gave to Dawood excellence from Us: O mountains! sing praises with him, and the birds; and We made the iron pliant to him, - Shakir, Habib
⦿
We bestowed upon David great favour. We said, [O mountains and birds! Join with him in celebrating Our praise.] We softened iron for him, saying, - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے داؤد کو یہ فضل عطا کیا کہ پہاڑو تم ان کے ساتھ تسبیح پروردگار کیا کرو اور پرندوں کو لَسخّر کردیا اور لوہے کو نرم کردیا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ہم نے داؤدؑ کو اپنے ہاں سے بڑا فضل عطا کیا تھا (ہم نے حکم دیا کہ) اے پہاڑو، اس کے ساتھ ہم آہنگی کرو (اور یہی حکم ہم نے) پرندوں کو دیا ہم نے لوہے کو اس کے لیے نرم کر دیا - Maududi, Abul A'ala
