يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
have conviction!
أَوْفُوا۟
Abide
بِٱلْعُقُودِ
by the obligations.
ۚ
أُحِلَّتْ
alowed was
لَكُم
for you
بَهِيمَةُ
unintelligibility of
ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ
the cattle,
إِلَّا
except
مَا
what
يُتْلَىٰ
was recited
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
غَيْرَ
not being
مُحِلِّى
free of
ٱلصَّيْدِ
the captivation,
وَأَنتُمْ
and you happened to be
حُرُمٌ
bounded;
ۗ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One
يَحْكُمُ
commands
مَا
what
يُرِيدُ
He desires.
٥
١
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَوْفُوا۟ بِٱلْعُقُودِ ۚ أُحِلَّتْ لَكُم بَهِيمَةُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ إِلَّا مَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ غَيْرَ مُحِلِّى ٱلصَّيْدِ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحْكُمُ مَا يُرِيدُ O you of the ones who have conviction! Abide by the obligations. alowed was for you unintelligibility of the cattle, except what was recited upon you not being free of the captivation, and you happened to be bounded; surely the One commands what He desires.

O ye who believe! Fulfil your indentures. The beast of cattle is made lawful unto you (for food) except that which is announced unto you (herein), game being unlawful when ye are on the pilgrimage. Lo! Allah ordaineth that which pleaseth Him. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Keep your agreements. You are permitted animals of grazing livestock, except what is [now] announced to you, disallowing game while you are in pilgrim sanctity. Indeed Allah decrees whatever He desires. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, stand by your contracts (and obligations). Of all animals, cattle has been made lawful for you as food with certain exceptions. Hunting is not lawful for you during ihram (a part of the rituals during pilgrimage). God decrees as He wills. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! fulfill the obligations. The cattle quadrupeds are allowed to you except that which is recited to you, not violating the prohibition against game when you are entering upon the performance of the pilgrimage; surely Allah orders what He desires. - Shakir, Habib

Believers, fulfill your obligations. All livestock is lawful for you, other than that which is hereby announced to you. You are forbidden to kill game while you are on a pilgrimage -- God commands what He will. - Wahiduddin Khan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، بندشوں کی پوری پابندی کرو تمہارے لیے مویشی کی قسم کے سب جانور حلال کیے گئے، سوائے اُن کے جو آگے چل کر تم کو بتائے جائیں گے لیکن احرام کی حالت میں شکار کو اپنے لیے حلال نہ کر لو، بے شک اللہ جو چاہتا ہے حکم دیتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! اپنے قول پورے کرو تمہارے لئے حلال ہوئے بے زبان مویشی مگر وہ جو آگے سنایا جائے گا تم کو لیکن شکار حلال نہ سمجھو جب تم احرام میں ہو بیشک اللہ حکم فرماتا ہے جو چاہے، - Ahmed Raza

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحِلُّوا۟ شَعَٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا ٱلشَّهْرَ ٱلْحَرَامَ وَلَا ٱلْهَدْىَ وَلَا ٱلْقَلَٰٓئِدَ وَلَآ ءَآمِّينَ ٱلْبَيْتَ ٱلْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا ۚ وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَٱصْطَادُوا۟ ۚ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوْمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ أَن تَعْتَدُوا۟ ۘ وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O ye who believe! Profane not Allah's monuments nor the Sacred Month nor the offerings nor the garlands, nor those repairing to the Sacred House, seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord. But when ye have left the sacred territory, then go hunting (if ye will). And let not your hatred of a folk who (once) stopped your going to the inviolable place of worship seduce you to transgress; but help ye one another unto righteousness and pious duty. Help not one another unto sin and transgression, but keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is severe in punishment. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Do not violate Allah]s sacraments, neither the sacred month, nor the offering, nor the necklaces, nor those bound for the Sacred House, who seek their Lord]s grace and [His] pleasure. But when you emerge from pilgrim sanctity, you may hunt for game. Ill feeling for a people should not lead you, because they barred you from [access to] the Sacred Mosque, to transgress. Cooperate in piety and Godwariness, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is severe in retribution. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, do not disrespect the reminders of God, the sacred months, the animals brought for sacrifice, or what is marked for sacrificial offering or the people heading to the precinct of the Sacred House to seek the favor and pleasure of their Lord. Once the restrictions of ihram are over, you may hunt. Do not let the hostility of a group of people keep you away from the Sacred Mosque or make you express animosity. Co-operate with each other in righteousness and piety, not in sin and hostility. Have fear of God; He is stern in His retribution. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! do not violate the signs appointed by Allah nor the sacred month, nor (interfere with) the offerings, nor the sacrificial animals with garlands, nor those going to the sacred house seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord; and when you are free from the obligations of the pilgrimage, then hunt, and let not hatred of a people-- because they hindered you from the Sacred Masjid-- incite you to exceed the limits, and help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil). - Shakir, Habib

Believers, violate neither the sanctity of God's signs, the Sacred Month, the sacrificial animals, the animals wearing garlands [indicating they are to be sacrificed] nor those on their way to the Sacred House seeking the bounty and pleasure of their Lord. When, on completion of your pilgrimage, you take off the garb of the pilgrim, you may hunt. Do not let the enmity of those who barred you from the Sacred Mosque lead you into sin. Help one another in goodness and in piety. Do not help one another in sin and transgression. Fear God! God is severe in punishment. - Wahiduddin Khan

ایمان والو !خبردار خدا کی نشانیوں کی حرمت کو ضائع نہ کرنا اور نہ محترم مہینے. قربانی کے جانور اور جن جانوروں کے گلے میں پٹےّ باندھ دیئے گئے ہیں اور جو لوگ خانہ خدا کا ارادہ کرنے والے ہیں اور فرض پروردگار اور رضائے الٰہی کے طلبگار ہیں ان کی حرمت کی خلاف ورزی کرنا اور جب احرام ختم ہوجائے تو شکار کرو اور خبردار کسی قوم کی عداوت فقط اس بات پر کہ اس نے تمہیں مسجدالحرام سے روک دیا ہے تمہیں ظلم پر آمادہ نہ کردے --نیکی اور تقویٰ پر ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرو اور گناہ اور تعدّی پر آپس میں تعاون نہ کرنا اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہنا کہ اس کا عذاب بہت سخت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، خد ا پرستی کی نشانیوں کو بے حرمت نہ کرو نہ حرام مہینوں میں سے کسی کو حلال کر لو، نہ قربانی کے جانوروں پر دست درازی کرو، نہ اُن جانوروں پر ہاتھ ڈالو جن کی گردنوں میں نذر خداوندی کی علامت کے طور پر پٹے پڑے ہوئے ہوں، نہ اُن لوگوں کو چھیڑو جو اپنے رب کے فضل اور اس کی خوشنودی کی تلاش میں مکان محترم (کعبہ) کی طرف جا رہے ہوں ہاں جب احرام کی حالت ختم ہو جائے تو شکار تم کرسکتے ہو اور دیکھو، ایک گروہ نے جو تمہارے لیے مسجد حرام کا راستہ بند کر دیا ہے تواس پر تمہارا غصہ تمہیں اتنا مشتعل نہ کر دے کہ تم بھی ان کے مقابلہ میں ناروا زیادتیاں کرنے لگو نہیں! جو کام نیکی اور خدا ترسی کے ہیں ان میں سب سے تعاون کرو اور جو گناہ اور زیادتی کے کام ہیں ان میں کسی سے تعاون نہ کرو اللہ سے ڈرو، اس کی سز ا بہت سخت ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! حلال نہ ٹھہرالو اللہ کے نشان اور نہ ادب والے مہینے اور نہ حرم کو بھیجی ہوئی قربانیاں اور نہ جن کے گلے میں علامتیں آویزاں اور نہ ان کا مال و آبرو جو عزت والے گھر کا قصد کرکے آئیں اپنے رب کا فضل اوراس کی خوشی چاہتے اور جب احرام سے نکلو تو شکار کرسکتے ہو اور تمہیں کسی قوم کی عداوت کہ انہوں نے تم کو مسجد حرام سے روکا تھا، زیادتی کرنے پر نہ ابھارے اور نیکی اور پرہیزگاری پر ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرو اور گناہ اور زیادتی پر باہم مدد نہ دو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو بیشک اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اے ایمان والو! خدا کی نشانیوں کی بے حرمتی نہ کرو۔ اور نہ حرمت والے مہینہ کی اور نہ قربانی والے جانور کی اور نہ گلے میں پٹے ڈالے ہوئے جانوروں کی اور نہ ان لوگوں کی (بے حرمتی کرو) جو اپنے پروردگار کا فضل و کرم اور اس کی رضامندی کے طلبگار بن کر بیت الحرام (مقدس گھر) کی طرف جا رہے ہیں اور جب احرام ختم ہو جائے (یا حرم سے باہر نکل جاؤ) تو شکار کر سکتے ہو۔ اور خبردار، تمہیں کسی قوم سے عداوت کہ اس نے تمہیں مسجد الحرام سے روک دیا تھا۔ اس بات پر آمادہ نہ کرے کہ تم (اس پر) ظلم و زیادتی کرو۔ اور نیکی و پرہیزگاری کے کاموں میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرو اور گناہ اور زیادتی کے کاموں میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد نہ کرو۔ اور اللہ (کی نافرمانی) سے ڈرو بے شک اللہ سخت سزا دینے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Forbidden unto you (for food) are carrion and blood and swineflesh, and that which hath been dedicated unto any other than Allah, and the strangled, and the dead through beating, and the dead through falling from a height, and that which hath been killed by (the goring of) horns, and the devoured of wild beasts, saving that which ye make lawful (by the death-stroke), and that which hath been immolated unto idols. And (forbidden is it) that ye swear by the divining arrows. This is an abomination. This day are those who disbelieve in despair of (ever harming) your religion; so fear them not, fear Me! This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion al-Islam. Whoso is forced by hunger, not by will, to sin: (for him) lo! It is unlawful for you to consume the following as food: an animal that has not been properly slaughtered, blood, pork, an animal slaughtered and consecrated in the name of someone other than God, an animal killed by strangulation or a violent blow, an animal killed by falling down, an animal which has been gored to death, an animal partly eaten by a wild beast before being properly slaughtered, an animal which has been sacrificed on the stone blocks (which pagans worshipped), and any flesh divided by casting superstitious and gambling arrows (a pagan tradition), which is a sin. Today, the unbelievers have lost hope about your religion. Do not be afraid of them but have fear of Me. On this day I have perfected your religion, completed My favors to you, and have chosen Islam as your religion. If anyone not (normally) inclined to sin is forced by hunger to eat unlawful substances instead of proper food, he may do so to spare his life. تم پر حرام کیا گیا مُردار، خون، سُور کا گوشت، وہ جانور جو خدا کے سوا کسی اور کے نام پر ذبح کیا گیا ہو، وہ جو گھلا گھٹ کر، یا چوٹ کھا کر، یا بلندی سے گر کر، یا ٹکر کھا کر مرا ہو، یا جسے کسی درندے نے پھاڑا ہو سوائے اس کے جسے تم نے زندہ پاکر ذبح کر لیا اور وہ جو کسی آستا نے پر ذبح کیا گیا ہو نیز یہ بھی تمہارے لیے ناجائز ہے کہ پانسوں کے ذریعہ سے اپنی قسمت معلوم کرو یہ سب افعال فسق ہیں آج کافروں کو تمہارے دین کی طرف سے پوری مایوسی ہو چکی ہے لہٰذا تم اُن سے نہ ڈرو بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو آج میں نے تمہارے دین کو تمہارے لیے مکمل کر دیا ہے اور اپنی نعمت تم پر تمام کر دی ہے اور تمہارے لیے اسلام کو تمہارے دین کی حیثیت سے قبول کر لیا ہے (لہٰذا حرام و حلال کی جو قیود تم پر عائد کر دی گئی ہیں اُن کی پابند ی کرو) البتہ جو شخص بھوک سے مجبور ہو کر اُن میں سے کوئی چیز کھا لے، بغیر اس کے کہ گناہ کی طرف اس کا میلان ہو تو بیشک اللہ معاف کرنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

They ask thee (O Muhammad) what is made lawful for them. Say: (all) good things are made lawful for you. And those beasts and birds of prey which ye have trained as hounds are trained, ye teach them that which Allah taught you; so eat of that which they catch for you and mention Allah's name upon it, and observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is swift to take account. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [All the good things are lawful to you.] As for what you have taught hunting dogs [to catch], teaching them out of what Allah has taught you, eat of what they catch for you and mention Allah]s Name over it, and be wary of Allah. (Muhammad), they ask you what has been made lawful for them (as food). Tell them, [All pure things are made lawful for you.] If you train dogs or other beasts for hunting, you should train them according to what God has taught you. It, then, is lawful for you to eat the animals that they hunt, provided you mention the Name of God over the prey. Have fear of God. Certainly God's reckoning is swift. - Sarwar, Muhammad

لوگ پوچھتے ہیں کہ ان کے لیے کیا حلال کیا گیا ہے، کہو تمہارے لیے ساری پاک چیزیں حلال کر دی گئی ہیں اور جن شکاری جانوروں کو تم نے سدھایا ہو جن کو خدا کے دیے ہوئے علم کی بنا پر تم شکار کی تعلیم دیا کرتے ہو وہ جس جانور کو تمہارے لیے پکڑ رکھیں اس کو بھی تم کھاسکتے ہو، البتہ اس پر اللہ کا نام لے لو اور اللہ کا قانون توڑنے سے ڈرو، اللہ کو حساب لیتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگتی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
are convinced!
إِذَا
Whenever
قُمْتُمْ
you group together
إِلَى
at
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
the community meeting (the assembly)
فَٱغْسِلُوا۟
then make appropriate
وُجُوهَكُمْ
your reasons
وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ
and your strengths
إِلَى
directed towards
ٱلْمَرَافِقِ
the public welfare,
وَٱمْسَحُوا۟
and analyse
بِرُءُوسِكُمْ
with your heads
وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ
and leg yourself
إِلَى
towards
ٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ
the most obvious (issues);
ۚ
وَإِن
and if
كُنتُمْ
you happen to be
جُنُبًۭا
biased
فَٱطَّهَّرُوا۟
then clean (the biasness),
ۚ
وَإِن
and if
كُنتُم
you happen to be
مَّرْضَىٰٓ
ill,
أَوْ
or
عَلَىٰ
upon
سَفَرٍ
a journey,
أَوْ
or
جَآءَ
came
أَحَدٌۭ
one
مِّنكُم
of you
مِّنَ
from
ٱلْغَآئِطِ
the lower level,
أَوْ
or
لَٰمَسْتُمُ
you can sense
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
the weakness,
فَلَمْ
so if not
تَجِدُوا۟
you can find
مَآءًۭ
an essence,
فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟
then aim for
صَعِيدًۭا
a level
طَيِّبًۭا
that is good,
فَٱمْسَحُوا۟
then analyse
بِوُجُوهِكُمْ
regarding your targets
وَأَيْدِيكُم
and your strengths
مِّنْهُ
from it;
ۚ
مَا
not
يُرِيدُ
desires
ٱللَّهُ
the One
لِيَجْعَلَ
to put
عَلَيْكُم
upon you
مِّنْ
of
حَرَجٍۢ
difficulty,
وَلَٰكِن
rather
يُرِيدُ
desires
لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ
to make you progress
وَلِيُتِمَّ
and to make perfect
نِعْمَتَهُۥ
His bounty
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
لَعَلَّكُمْ
that perhaps
تَشْكُرُونَ
you give thanks.

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَٱغْسِلُوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْمَرَافِقِ وَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ ۚ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًۭا فَٱطَّهَّرُوا۟ ۚ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَىٰٓ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَآءَ أَحَدٌۭ مِّنكُم مِّنَ ٱلْغَآئِطِ أَوْ لَٰمَسْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا۟ مَآءًۭ فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟ صَعِيدًۭا طَيِّبًۭا فَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ ۚ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍۢ وَلَٰكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ O you of the ones who are convinced! Whenever you group together at the community meeting (the assembly) then make appropriate your reasons and your strengths directed towards the public welfare, and analyse with your heads and leg yourself towards the most obvious (issues); and if you happen to be biased then clean (the biasness), and if you happen to be ill, or upon a journey, or came one of you from the lower level, or you can sense the weakness, so if not you can find an essence, then aim for a level that is good, then analyse regarding your targets and your strengths from it; not desires the One to put upon you of difficulty, rather desires to make you progress and to make perfect His bounty upon you that perhaps you give thanks.

O ye who believe! When ye rise up for prayer, wash you faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. Allah would not place a burden on you, but He would purify you and would perfect His grace upon you, that ye may give thanks. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! When you stand up for prayer, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe a part of your heads and your feet, up to the ankles. If you are junub, purify yourselves. But if you are sick, or on a journey, or any of you has come from the toilet, or you have touched women, and you cannot find water, then make tayammum with clean ground and wipe a part of your faces and your hands with it. Allah does not desire to put you to hardship, but He desires to purify you, and to complete His blessing upon you so that you may give thanks. - Qarai, Ali Quli

If you experience a seminal discharge, manage to take (the required) bath. If you are sick, or on a journey, or have just defecated, or have had intercourse with women and cannot find any water, perform a tayammum by: touching clean natural earth with both palms and wiping (the upper part) of your face and (the back of) your hands. God does not want you to suffer hardship. He wants you to be purified. He wants to complete His favors to you so that perhaps you would give Him thanks. - Sarwar, Muhammad

ایمان والو جب بھی نماز کے لئے اٹھو تو پہلے اپنے چہروں کو اور کہنیوں تک اپنے ہاتھوںکو دھوؤ اور اپنے سر اور گٹّے تک پیروں کا مسح کرو اور اگر جنابت کی حالت میں ہو تو غسل کرو اور اگر مریض ہو یا سفر کے عالم میں ہو یا پیخانہ وغیرہ نکل آیا ہے یا عورتوں کو باہم لمس کیاہے اور پانی نہ ملے تو پاک مٹی سے تیمم کرلو -اس طرح کہ اپنے چہرے اور ہاتھوں کا مسح کرلو کہ خدا تمہارے لئے کسی طرح کی زحمت نہیں چاہتا. بلکہ یہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہیں پاک و پاکیزہ بنا دے اور تم پر اپنی نعمت کو تمام کردے شاید تم اس طرح اس کے شکر گزار بندے بن جاؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، جب تم نماز کے لیے اٹھو تو چاہیے کہ اپنے منہ اور ہاتھ کہنیوں تک دھو لو، سروں پر ہاتھ پھیر لو اور پاؤں ٹخنوں تک دھو لیا کرو اگر جنابت کی حالت میں ہو تو نہا کر پاک ہو جاؤ اگر بیمار ہو یا سفر کی حالت میں ہو یا تم میں سے کوئی شخص رفع حاجت کر کے آئے یا تم نے عورتوں کو ہاتھ لگایا ہو، اور پانی نہ ملے، تو پاک مٹی سے کام لو، بس اُس پر ہاتھ مار کر اپنے منہ اور ہاتھوں پر پھیر لیا کرو اللہ تم پر زندگی کو تنگ نہیں کرنا چاہتا، مگر وہ چاہتا ہے کہ تمہیں پاک کرے اور اپنی نعمت تم پر تمام کر دے، شاید کہ تم شکر گزار بنو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! جب نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہونے لگو تو اپنے چہروں اور کہنیوں سمیت اپنے ہاتھوں کو دھوؤ۔ اور سروں کے بعض حصہ کا اور ٹخنوں تک پاؤں کا مسح کرو۔ اور اگر تم جنابت کی حالت میں ہو تو پھر غسل کرو اور اگر تم بیمار ہو یا سفر میں ہو یا تم میں سے کوئی بیت الخلاء سے آیا ہو۔ یا تم نے عورتوں سے مقاربت کی ہو۔ اور پھر تمہیں پانی نہ ملے تو پاک مٹی سے تیمم کر لو۔ یعنی اپنے چہروں اور ہاتھوں پر اس سے مسح کر لو (مَل لو) اللہ نہیں چاہتا کہ تم پر کوئی سختی کرے۔ وہ تو چاہتا ہے کہ تمہیں پاک صاف رکھے اور اپنی نعمت تم پر تمام کر دے تاکہ تم اس کا شکر ادا کرو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Remember Allah's grace upon you and His covenant by which He bound you when ye said: We hear and we obey; And keep your duty to Allah. Lo! He knoweth what is in the breasts (of men). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Remember Allah]s blessing upon you and His covenant with which He has bound you when you said, [We hear and obey.] And be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah knows best what is in the breasts. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Remember God's favors to you and the firm covenant that He has made with you. You said because of this covenant, [We have heard (the words of the Lord) and have obeyed Him.] Have fear of God; He knows well all that the hearts contain. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And remember the favor of Allah on you and His covenant with which He bound you firmly, when you said: We have heard and we obey, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, surely Allah knows what is in the breasts. - Shakir, Habib

O ye who believe! Be steadfast witnesses for Allah in equity, and let not hatred of any people seduce you that ye deal not justly. Deal justly, that is nearer to your duty. Observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Be maintainers, as witnesses for the sake of Allah, of justice, and ill feeling for a people should never lead you to be unfair. Be fair; that is nearer to Godwariness, and be wary of Allah. Allah is indeed well aware of what you do. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, be steadfast for the cause of God and just in bearing witness. Let not a group's hostility to you cause you to deviate from justice. Be just, for it is closer to piety. Have fear of God; God is Well Aware of what you do. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! Be upright for Allah, bearers of witness with justice, and let not hatred of a people incite you not to act equitably; act equitably, that is nearer to piety, and he careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is Aware of what you do. - Shakir, Habib

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو! اللہ کی خاطر راستی پر قائم رہنے والے اور انصاف کی گواہی دینے والے بنو کسی گروہ کی دشمنی تم کو اتنا مشتعل نہ کر دے کہ انصاف سے پھر جاؤ عدل کرو، یہ خدا ترسی سے زیادہ مناسبت رکھتا ہے اللہ سے ڈر کر کام کرتے رہو، جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ اُس سے پوری طرح باخبر ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والوں اللہ کے حکم پر خوب قائم ہوجاؤ انصاف کے ساتھ گواہی دیتے اور تم کو کسی قوم کی عداوت اس پر نہ اُبھارے کہ انصاف نہ کرو، انصاف کرو، وہ پرہیزگاری سے زیادہ قریب ہے، اور اللہ سے ڈرو، بیشک اللہ کو تمہارے کامو ں کی خبر ہے، - Ahmed Raza

And the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
denied
وَكَذَّبُوا۟
and lied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
about Our signs,
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
أَصْحَٰبُ
the companions of
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
the stagnant life.
And the ones who denied and lied about Our signs, those are the companions of the stagnant life.
⦿
And they who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are rightful owners of hell. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

As for those who are faithless and deny Our signs, they shall be the inmates of hell. - Qarai, Ali Quli

However, the unbelievers who have called Our revelations lies will have hell for their dwelling. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject our communications, these are the companions of the name. - Shakir, Habib

but those who deny the truth and deny Our signs are destined for Hell. - Wahiduddin Khan
