The chieftains of his people, who were scornful, said unto those whom they despised, unto such of them as believed: Know ye that Salih is one sent from his Lord? They said: Lo! In that wherewith he hath been sent we are believers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The elite of his people who were arrogant said to those who were oppressed—to those among them who had faith—[Do you know that Salih has been sent by his Lord?] They said, [We indeed believe in what he has been sent with.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

تو ان کی قوم کے بڑے لوگوں نے کمزور بنادئیے جانے والے لوگوں میں سے جو ایمان لائے تھے ان سے کہنا شروع کیا کہ کیا تمہیں اس کا یقین ہے کہ صالح علیھ السّلامخدا کی طرف سے بھیجے گئے ہیں انہوں نے کہا کہ بیشک ہمیں ان کے پیغام کا ایمان اور ایقان حاصل ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اُس کی قوم کے سرداروں نے جو بڑے بنے ہوئے تھے، کمزور طبقہ کے اُن لوگوں سے جو ایمان لے آئے تھے کہا ——کیا تم واقعی یہ جانتے ہو کہ صالحؑ اپنے رب کا پیغمبر ہے؟—— انہوں نے جواب دیا ——بے شک جس پیغام کے ساتھ وہ بھیجا گیا ہے اُسے ہم مانتے ہیں—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala
