أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَانُوٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةًۭ وَءَاثَارًۭا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those before them? They were more numerous than these, and mightier in power and (in the) traces (which they left behind them) in the earth. But all that they used to earn availed them not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی ہے کہ دیکھتے کہ ان سے پہلے والوں کا انجام کیا ہوا ہے جو ان کے مقابلہ میں اکثریت میں تھے اور زیادہ طاقتور بھی تھے اور زمین میں آثار کے مالک تھے لیکن جو کچھ بھی کمایا تھا کچھ کام نہ آیا اور مبتلائے عذاب ہوگئے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
