⦿
Lo! as for those whom the angels take (in death) while they wrong themselves, (the angels) will ask: In what were ye engaged? They will say: We were oppressed in the land. (The angels) will say: Was not Allah's earth spacious that ye could have migrated therein? As for such, their habitation will be hell, an evil journey's end;
- Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
Indeed, those whom the angels take away while they are wronging themselves, they ask, [What state were you in?] They reply, [We were oppressed in the land.] They say, [Was not Allah]s earth vast enough so that you might migrate in it?] The refuge of such shall be hell, and it is an evil destination.
- Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
When the angels take away from their bodies the souls of those who have wronged themselves, they will ask them, [How did you live?] They will reply, [We lived on earth in weakness and oppression.] The angels will say, [Was not God's land vast enough for you to go wherever you could live in peace?] The dwelling of these people will be hell fire, a terrible destination.
- Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Surely (as for) those whom the angels cause to die while they are unjust to their souls, they shall say: In what state were you? They shall say: We were weak in the earth. They shall say: Was not Allah's earth spacious, so that you should have migrated therein? So these it is whose abode is hell, and it is an evil resort
- Shakir, Habib
⦿
When the angels take the souls of those who have wronged themselves, they will ask, [What was wrong with you?] They will answer, [We were too weak on earth.] The angels will say, [Was God's earth not spacious enough for you to have migrated to some other place?] These are the ones whose abode shall be Hell, an evil destination --
- Wahiduddin Khan

- Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
- Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
- Ahmed Raza
⦿
- Najafi, Muhammad

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.

Due Credits:

This website was possible by help of many people and forums who helped me to learn Arabic, Philosophy, Law, Psychology, and PHP and other Web scripts. To be honest, I do not even know the names of many but I did learn from them. Some of these people were already dead by the time I read their input.

The entire code of this website is available for the same reason, that what they taught me, I can only pay it forward.

The Arabic text of the Quran was obtained from Tanzil. The additional translations were also obtained from Tanzil from this link.

The social-sharing images of verses were obtained from Legacy Quran.com, and were then resized for proper social-media display.
