He only shall tend Allah's sanctuaries who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due and feareth none save Allah. For such (only) is it possible that they can be of the rightly guided. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Only those shall maintain Allah]s mosques who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and maintain the prayer, and give the zakat, and fear no one except Allah. They, hopefully, will be among the guided. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Count ye the slaking of a pilgrim's thirst and tendance of the Inviolable Place of Worship as (equal to the worth of) him who believeth in Allah and the Last Day, and striveth in the way of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do you regard the providing of water to Hajj pilgrims and the maintenance of the Holy Mosque as similar [in worth] to someone who has faith in Allah and [believes in] the Last Day and wages jihad in the way of Allah? Do you (pagans), because you served water to the pilgrims and constructed the Sacred Mosque, consider yourselves equal to those who have believed in God, the Day of Judgment, and have fought for the cause of God? Their Lord giveth them good tidings of mercy from Him, and acceptance, and Gardens where enduring pleasure will be theirs; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say: If your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your wives, and your tribe, and the wealth ye have acquired, and merchandise for which ye fear that there will no sale, and dwellings ye desire are dearer to you than Allah and His messenger and striving in His way: then wait till Allah bringeth His command to pass. (Muhammad), tell them, [If your fathers, children, brothers, spouses, relatives, the property that you possess, the trade you fear may have no profit and the homely life are more beloved to you than God, His Messenger and fighting for His cause, wait until God fulfills His decree (of making the right distinct from the wrong). اے نبیؐ، کہہ دو کہ اگر تمہارے باپ اور تمہارے بیٹے، اور تمہارے بھائی، اور تمہاری بیویاں اور تمہارے عزیز و اقارب اور تمہارے وہ مال جو تم نے کما ئے ہیں، اور تمہارے وہ کاروبار جن کے ماند پڑ جانے کا تم کو خوف ہے اور تمہارے وہ گھر جو تم کو پسند ہیں، تم کو اللہ اور اس کے رسول اور اس کی راہ میں جہاد سے عزیز تر ہیں تو انتظار کرو یہاں تک کہ اللہ اپنا فیصلہ تمہارے سامنے لے آئے، اور اللہ فاسق لوگوں کی رہنمائی نہیں کیا کرتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Allah hath given you victory on many fields and on the day of Huneyn, when ye exulted in your multitude but it availed you naught, and the earth, vast as it is, was straitened for you; then ye turned back in flight; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah has certainly helped you in many situations, and on the day of Hunayn, when your great number impressed you, but it did not avail you in any way, and the earth became narrow for you in spite of its expanse, whereupon you turned your backs [to flee]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God has helped you on many occasions including the day of Hunayn (name of a place near Mecca). When you were happy with the number of your men who proved to be of no help to you and the whole vast earth seemed to have no place to hide you (from your enemies) and you turned back in retreat. - Sarwar, Muhammad

ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنُودًۭا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَعَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then Allah sent His peace of reassurance down upon His messenger and upon the believers, and sent down hosts ye could not see, and punished those who disbelieved. Such is the reward of disbelievers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

پھر اللہ نے اپنی سکینت اپنے رسول پر اور مومنین پر نازل فرمائی اور وہ لشکر اتارے جو تم کو نظر نہ آتے تھے اور منکرین حق کو سزا دی کہ یہی بدلہ ہے اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو حق کا انکار کریں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر اللہ نے اپنی تسکین اتا ری اپنے رسول پر اور مسلمانوں پر اور وہ لشکر اتارے جو تم نے نہ دیکھے اور کافروں کو عذاب دیا اور منکروں کی یہی سزا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

پھر اللہ نے اپنی طرف سے اپنے رسول اور اہلِ ایمان پر سکون و اطمینان نازل کیا اور ایسے لشکر نازل کئے جو تمہیں نظر نہیں آئے۔ اور اللہ نے کافروں کو سزا دی اور یہی کافروں کا بدلہ ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

O ye who believe! The idolaters only are unclean. So let them not come near the Inviolable Place of Worship after this their year. If ye fear poverty (from the loss of their merchandise) Allah shall preserve you of His bounty if He will. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! The polytheists are indeed unclean: so let them not approach the Holy Mosque after this year. Should you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you out of His grace, if He wishes. Indeed Allah is all-knowing, all-wise. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اے ایمان والو! مشرک نرے ناپاک ہیں تو اس برس کے بعد وہ مسجد حرام کے پاس نہ آنے پائیں اور اگر تمہاری محتاجی کا ڈر ہے تو عنقریب اللہ تمہیں دولت مند کردے گا اپنے فضل سے اگر چاہے بیشک اللہ علم و حکمت والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza
