وَمَا

كَانُوا۟

بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا

يَجْحَدُونَ

ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًۭا وَلَعِبًۭا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ نَنسَىٰهُمْ كَمَا نَسُوا۟ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِهِمْ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Who took their religion for a sport and pastime, and whom the life of the world beguiled. So this day We have forgotten them even as they forgot the meeting of this their Day and as they used to deny Our tokens. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who took their religion for diversion and play and whom the life of the world had deceived. So today, We will forget them as they forgot the encounter of this day of theirs, and as they used to impugn Our signs. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Verily We have brought them a Scripture which We expounded with knowledge, a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَهُۥ ۚ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى تَأْوِيلُهُۥ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِن قَبْلُ قَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ فَهَل لَّنَا مِن شُفَعَآءَ فَيَشْفَعُوا۟ لَنَآ أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ ٱلَّذِى كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Await they aught save the fulfilment thereof? On the day when the fulfilment thereof cometh, those who were before forgetful thereof will say: The messengers of our Lord did bring the Truth! Have we any intercessors, that they may intercede for us? Or can we be returned (to life on earth), that we may act otherwise than we used to act? They have lost their souls, and that which they devised hath failed them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do they not consider [the consequences of] its fulfillment? The day when its fulfillment comes, those who had forgotten it before will say, [Our Lord]s apostles had certainly brought the truth. If only we had some intercessors to intercede for us, or we would be returned, so that we may do differently from what we did!] They have certainly ruined their souls, and what they used to fabricate has forsaken them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Despite the clear details of Our guidance in the Book) do they still wait for further interpretations? On the Day (of Judgment) when its interpretations will be revealed, those who had ignored its guidance will confess, saying, [The Messengers of our Lord had certainly come to us with the Truth. Will anyone intercede for us or send us back (to life) so that we would be able to act in a different manner to that which we had done before?] These people have certainly lost their souls and their evil inventions (which they had used for false excuses) will vanish. - Sarwar, Muhammad

On the day when its final sequel comes about, those who neglected it before will say: Indeed the apostles of our Lord brought the truth; are there for us then any intercessors so that they should intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back so that we should do (deeds) other than those which we did? Indeed they have lost their souls and that which they forged has gone away from them. - Shakir, Habib

کیا یہ لوگ صرف انجام کار کا انتظار کررہے ہیں تو جس دن انجام سامنے آجائے گا تو جو لوگ پہلے سے اسے بھولے ہوئے تھے وہ کہنے لگیں گے کہ بیشک ہمارے پروردگار کے رسول صحیح ہی پیغام لائے تھے تو کیا ہمارے لئے بھی شفیع ہیں جو ہماری سفارش کریں یا ہمیں واپس کردیا جائے تو ہم جو اعمال کرتے تھے اس کے علاوہ دوسرے قسم کے اعمال کریں -درحقیقت ان لوگوں نے اپنے کو خسارہ میں ڈال دیا ہے اور ان کی ساری افترا پردازیاں غائب ہوگئی ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اب کیا یہ لوگ اِس کے سوا کسی اور بات کے منتظر ہیں کہ وہ انجام سامنے آ جائے جس کی یہ کتاب خبر دے رہی ہے؟ جس روز وہ انجام سامنے آ گیا وہی لوگ جنہوں نے اسے نظر انداز کر دیا تھا کہیں گے کہ ——واقعی ہمارے رب کے رسول حق لے کر آئے تھے، پھر کیا اب ہمیں کچھ سفارشی ملیں گے جو ہمارے حق میں سفارش کریں؟ یا ہمیں دوبارہ واپس ہی بھیج دیا جائے تاکہ جو کچھ ہم پہلے کرتے تھے اس کے بجائے اب دوسرے طریقے پر کام کر کے دکھائیں—— انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو خسارے میں ڈال دیا اور وہ سارے جھوٹ جو انہوں نے تصنیف کر رکھے تھے آج ان سے گم ہو گئے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کاہے کی راہ دیکھتے ہیں مگر اس کی کہ اس کتاب کا کہا ہوا انجام سامنے آئے جس دن اس کا بتایا انجام واقع ہوگا بول اٹھیں گے وہ جو اسے پہلے سے بھلائے بیٹھے تھے کہ بیشک ہمارے رب کے رسول حق لائے تھے تو ہیں کوئی ہمارے سفارشی جو ہماری شفاعت کریں یا ہم واپس بھیجے جائیں کہ پہلے کاموں کے خلاف کام کریں بیشک انہوں نے اپنی جانیں نقصان میں ڈالیں اور ان سے کھوئے گئے جو بہتان اٹھاتے تھے - Ahmed Raza

کیا یہ لوگ اس (قرآن کی دھمکی) کے انجام کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں؟ (کہ سامنے آئے) حالانکہ جس دن اس کا انجام (سامنے) آئے گا تو وہی لوگ جنہوں نے پہلے اس کو بھلایا ہوگا کہیں گے بے شک ہمارے پروردگار کے رسول ہمارے پاس سچائی کے ساتھ آئے تھے تو کیا آج ہمارے لئے کچھ سفارشی ہیں؟ جو ہماری سفارش کریں یا (یہ ممکن ہے کہ) ہمیں دوبارہ واپس بھیج دیا جائے تاکہ جو کچھ ہم (پہلے) کیا کرتے تھے اس کے خلاف کچھ اور (نیک عمل) کریں؟ یقینا انہوں نے اپنے آپ کو خسارہ میں ڈال دیا اور وہ افترا پردازیاں جو وہ کیا کرتے تھے آج ان سے گم ہوگئیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ فِى سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍۢ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُۥ حَثِيثًۭا وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ وَٱلنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَٰتٍۭ بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ ٱلْخَلْقُ وَٱلْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Lo! your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, then mounted He the Throne. He covereth the night with the day, which is in haste to follow it, and hath made the sun and the moon and the stars subservient by His command. His verily is all creation and commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then settled on the Throne. He draws the night]s cover over the day, which pursues it swiftly, and [He created] the sun, the moon, and the stars, [all of them] disposed by His command. Look! All creation and command belong to Him. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Your Lord is God who established His dominion over the Throne (of the realm) after having created the heavens and the earth in six days. He made the night darken the day which it pursues at a (considerable) speed and He made the sun and the moon submissive to His command. Is it not He Who creates and governs all things? Surely your Lord is Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods of time, and He is firm in power; He throws the veil of night over the day, which it pursues incessantly; and (He created) the sun and the moon and the stars, made subservient by His command; surely His is the creation and the command; blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. - Shakir, Habib

بیشک تمہارا پروردگار وہ ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ دن میں پیدا کیا ہے اور اس کے بعد عرش پر اپنا اقتدار قائم کیا ہے وہ رات کو دن پر ڈھانپ دیتاہے اور رات تیزی سے اس کے پیچھے دوڑا کرتی ہے اور آفتاب و ماہتاب اور ستارے سب اسی کے حکم کے تابع ہیں اسی کے لئے خلق بھی ہے اور امر بھی وہ نہایت ہی صاحب هبرکت اللہ ہے جو عالمین کا پالنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

در حقیقت تمہارا رب اللہ ہی ہے جس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو چھ دنوں میں پیدا کیا، پھر اپنے تخت سلطنت پر جلوہ فرما ہوا جو رات کو دن پر ڈھانک دیتا ہے اور پھر دن رات کے پیچھے دوڑا چلا آتا ہے جس نے سورج اور چاند اور تارے پیدا کیے سب اس کے فرمان کے تابع ہیں خبردار رہو! اُسی کی خلق ہے اور اسی کا امر ہے بڑا با برکت ہے اللہ، سارے جہانوں کا مالک و پروردگار - Maududi, Abul A'ala

And He it is Who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding His mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), We lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. Thus bring We forth the dead. Haply ye may remember. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It is He who sends forth the winds as harbingers of His mercy. When they bear [rain-] laden clouds, We drive them toward a dead land and send down water on it, and with it We bring forth all kinds of crops. Thus shall We raise the dead; maybe you will take admonition. - Qarai, Ali Quli

And He it is Who sends forth the winds bearing good news before His mercy, until, when they bring up a laden cloud, We drive it to a dead land, then We send down water on it, then bring forth with it of fruits of all kinds; thus shall We bring forth the dead that you may be mindful. - Shakir, Habib

وہ خدا وہ ہے جو ہواؤں کو رحمت کی بشارت بناکر بھیجتا ہے یہاں تک کہ جب ہوائیں وزنی بادلوں کو اٹھالیتی ہیں تو ہم ان کو مردہ شہروں کو زندہ کرنے کے لئے لے جاتے ہیں اور پھر پانی برسادیتے ہیں اور اس کے ذریعہ مختلف پھل پیدا کردیتے ہیں اور اسی طرح ہم مفِدوں کو زندہ کردیا کرتے ہیں کہ شاید تم عبرت و نصیحت حاصل کرسکو - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور وہ اللہ ہی ہے جو ہواؤں کو اپنی رحمت کے آگے آگے خوشخبری لیے ہوئے بھیجتا ہے، پھر جب وہ پانی سے لدے ہوئے بادل اٹھا لیتی ہیں تو انہیں کسی مردہ سر زمین کی طرف حرکت دیتا ہے، اور وہاں مینہ برسا کر (اُسی مری ہوئی زمین سے) طرح طرح کے پھل نکال لاتا ہے دیکھو، اس طرح ہم مُردوں کو حالت موت سے نکالتے ہیں، شاید کہ تم اس مشاہدے سے سبق لو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور وہی ہے کہ ہوائیں بھیجتا ہے اس کی رحمت کے آگے مژدہ سناتی یہاں تک کہ جب اٹھا لائیں بھاری بادل ہم نے اسے کسی مردہ شہر کی طرف چلایا پھر اس سے پانی اتارا پھر اس سے طرح طرح کے پھل نکالے اسی طرح ہم مُردوں کو نکالیں گے کہیں تم نصیحت مانو، - Ahmed Raza

As for the good land, its vegetation cometh forth by permission of its Lord; while as for that which is bad, only the useless cometh forth (from it). Thus do We recount the tokens for people who give thanks. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The good land—its vegetation comes out by the permission of its Lord, and as for that which is bad, it does not come out except sparsely. Thus do We paraphrase the signs variously for a people who give thanks. - Qarai, Ali Quli
