مَكَانَهُۥ

فَسَوْفَ

فَلَمَّا

رَبُّهُۥ

لِلْجَبَلِ

جَعَلَهُۥ

دَكًّۭا

وَخَرَّ

مُوسَىٰ

صَعِقًۭا

ۚ

فَلَمَّآ

أَفَاقَ

قَالَ

سُبْحَٰنَكَ

تُبْتُ

إِلَيْكَ

وَأَنَا۠
[untranslated]
أَوَّلُ
[untranslated]
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
[untranslated]
٧
١٤٣
وَلَمَّا جَآءَ مُوسَىٰ لِمِيقَٰتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِىٓ أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ ۚ قَالَ لَن تَرَىٰنِى وَلَٰكِنِ ٱنظُرْ إِلَى ٱلْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ ٱسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُۥ فَسَوْفَ تَرَىٰنِى ۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّىٰ رَبُّهُۥ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُۥ دَكًّۭا وَخَرَّ مُوسَىٰ صَعِقًۭا ۚ فَلَمَّآ أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَٰنَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And when Moses came to Our appointed tryst and his Lord had spoken unto him, he said: My Lord! Show me (Thy Self), that I may gaze upon Thee. He said: Thou wilt not see Me, but gaze upon the mountain! If it stand still in its place, then thou wilt see Me. And when his Lord revealed (His) glory to the mountain He sent it crashing down. And Moses fell down senseless. And when he woke he said: Glory unto Thee! I turn unto Thee repentant, and I am the first of (true) believers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When Moses arrived at Our tryst and his Lord spoke to him, he said, [My Lord, show [Yourself] to me, that I may look at You!] He said, [You shall not see Me. But look at the mountain: if it abides in its place, then you will see Me.] So when his Lord disclosed Himself to the mountain, He levelled it, and Moses fell down swooning. When he recovered, he said, [Immaculate are You! I turn to You in penitence, and I am the first of the faithful.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

During the appointment, the Lord spoke to Moses. He asked the Lord to show Himself so that he could look at Him. The Lord replied, [You can never see Me. But look at the mountain. If the mountain remains firm only then will you see Me.] When the Lord manifested His Glory to the mountain, He turned it into dust and Moses fell down upon his face senseless. After regaining his senses, Moses said, [Lord, You are all Holy. I repent for what I asked you to do and I am the first to believe in You.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when Musa came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said: My Lord! show me (Thyself), so that I may look upon Thee. He said: You cannot (bear to) see Me but look at the mountain, if it remains firm in its place, then will you see Me; but when his Lord manifested His glory to the mountain He made it crumble and Musa fell down in a swoon; then when he recovered, he said: Glory be to Thee, I turn to Thee, and I am the first of the believers. - Shakir, Habib

تو اس کے بعد جب موسٰی علیھ السّلامہمارا وعدہ پورا کرنے کے لئے آئے اور ان کے رب نے ان سے کلام کیا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ پروردگار مجھے اپنا جلوہ دکھادے ارشاد ہوا تم ہرگز مجھے نہیں دیکھ سکتے ہو البتہ پہاڑ کی طرف دیکھو اگر یہ اپنی جگہ پر قائم رہ گیا تو پھر مجھے دیکھ سکتے ہو .اس کے بعد جب پہاڑ پر پروردگار کی تجلی ہوئی تو پہاڑ چور چور ہوگیا اور موسٰی علیھ السّلام بیہوش ہوکر گر پڑے پھر جب انہیں ہوش آیا تو کہنے لگے کہ پروردگار تو پاک و پاکیزہ ہے میں تیری بارگاہ میں توبہ کرتا ہوں اور میں سب سے پہلا ایمان لانے والا ہوں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جب وہ ہمارے مقرر کیے ہوئے وقت پر پہنچا اور اس کے رب نے اس سے کلام کیا تو اس نے التجا کی کہ ——اے رب، مجھے یارائے نظر دے کہ میں تجھے دیکھوں—— فرمایا ——تو مجھے نہیں دیکھ سکتا ہاں ذرا سامنے کے پہاڑ کی طرف دیکھ، اگر وہ اپنی جگہ قائم رہ جائے تو البتہ تو مجھے دیکھ سکے گا—— چنانچہ اس کے رب نے جب پہاڑ پر تجلی کی تو اسے ریزہ ریزہ کر دیا اور موسیٰؑ غش کھا کر گر پڑا جب ہوش آیا تو بولا ——پاک ہے تیری ذات، میں تیرے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں اور سب سے پہلا ایمان لانے والا میں ہوں—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جب موسیٰ ہمارے وعدہ پر حاضر ہوا اور اس سے اس کے رب نے کلام فرمایا عرض کی اے رب میرے! مجھے اپنا دیدار دکھا کہ میں تجھے دیکھوں فرمایا تو مجھے ہر گز نہ دیکھ سکے گا ہاں اس پہاڑ کی طرف دیکھ یہ اگر اپنی جگہ پر ٹھہرا رہا تو عنقریب تو مجھے دیکھ لے گا پھر جب اس کے رب نے پہاڑ پر اپنا نو ر چمکایا اسے پاش پاش کردیا اور موسیٰ گرا بیہوش پھر جب ہوش ہوا بولا پاکی ہے تجھے میں تیری طرف رجوع لایا اور میں سب سے پہلا مسلمان ہوں - Ahmed Raza

اور جب جنابِ موسیٰ ہمارے مقرر کردہ وقت پر آگئے اور ان کے پروردگار نے ان سے کلام کیا۔ تو انہوں نے کہا پروردگار! مجھے اپنا جلوہ دکھا تاکہ میں تیری طرف نگاہ کر سکوں۔ ارشاد ہوا تم مجھے کبھی نہیں دیکھ سکوگے۔ مگر ہاں اس پہاڑ کی طرف دیکھو۔ اگر یہ (تجلئِ حق کے وقت) اپنی جگہ پر برقرار رہا تو پھر امید کرنا کہ مجھے دیکھ سکوگے پس جب ان کے پروردگار نے پہاڑ پر اپنی تجلی ڈالی تو اسے ریزہ ریزہ کر دیا اور موسیٰ غش کھا کر گر گئے۔ اور جب ہوش میں آئے تو بولے پاک ہے تیری ذات! میں تیرے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں اور میں سب سے پہلا ایمان لانے والا ہوں (کہ تو نظر نہیں آتا)۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

(The One) said,
يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ
[O Moosa!
إِنِّى
I am
ٱصْطَفَيْتُكَ
choosing you
عَلَى
over
ٱلنَّاسِ
the people
بِرِسَٰلَٰتِى
with My Messengership
وَبِكَلَٰمِى
and with My communication,
فَخُذْ
thus take
مَآ
what
ءَاتَيْتُكَ
I am giving you
وَكُن
and be
مِّنَ
of
ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
the thankful ones.]
٧
١٤٤
قَالَ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّى ٱصْطَفَيْتُكَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ بِرِسَٰلَٰتِى وَبِكَلَٰمِى فَخُذْ مَآ ءَاتَيْتُكَ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ (The One) said, [O Moosa! I am choosing you over the people with My Messengership and with My communication, thus take what I am giving you and be of the thankful ones.]

He said: O Moses! I have preferred thee above mankind by My messages and by My speaking (unto thee). So hold that which I have given thee, and be among the thankful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [O Moses, I have chosen you over the people with My messages and My speech. So take what I give you, and be among the grateful.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The Lord said to Moses, [I have given you distinction above the people by speaking to you and giving you My Message. Receive what I have given to you and give Us thanks.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: O Musa! surely I have chosen you above the people with My messages and with My words, therefore take hold of what I give to you and be of the grateful ones. - Shakir, Habib

He replied, [Moses, I have chosen you of all mankind for My messages and My Words. Hold fast to what I have given you, and be among the grateful!] - Wahiduddin Khan

ارشاد ہوا کہ موسٰی علیھ السّلامہم نے تمام انسانوں میں اپنی رسالت اور اپنے کلام کے لئے تمہارا انتخاب کیا ہے لہذا اب اس کتاب کو لے لو اور اللہ کے شکر گذار بندوں میں ہوجاؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

فرمایا ——اے موسیٰؑ، میں نے تمام لوگوں پر ترجیح دے کر تجھے منتخب کیا کہ میر ی پیغمبری کرے اور مجھ سے ہم کلام ہو پس جو کچھ میں تجھے دوں اسے لے اور شکر بجالا—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

فرمایا اے موسیٰ میں نے تجھے لوگوں سے چن لیا اپنی رسالتوں اور اپنے کلام سے، تو لے جو میں نے تجھے عطا فرمایا اور شکر والوں میں ہو، - Ahmed Raza

ارشاد ہوا اے موسیٰ میں نے تمہیں اپنی پیغمبری اور ہمکلامی کے لیے تمام لوگوں سے منتخب کیا ہے پس جو چیز (توراۃ) میں نے تمہیں عطا کی ہے اسے لو اور شکر گزار بندوں میں سے ہو جاؤ۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَكَتَبْنَا لَهُۥ فِى ٱلْأَلْوَاحِ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ مَّوْعِظَةًۭ وَتَفْصِيلًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَخُذْهَا بِقُوَّةٍۢ وَأْمُرْ قَوْمَكَ يَأْخُذُوا۟ بِأَحْسَنِهَا ۚ سَأُو۟رِيكُمْ دَارَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And We wrote for him, upon the tablets, the lesson to be drawn from all things and the explanation of all things, then (bade him): Hold it fast; and command thy people (saying): Take the better (course made clear) therein. I shall show thee the abode of evil-livers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We wrote for him in the tablets advice concerning all things and an elaboration of all things, [and We said], [Hold on to them with power, and bid your people to hold on to the best of [what is in] them. Soon I shall show you the abode of the transgressors. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
We wrote advice and laws for him on Tablets about all kinds of things, saying, [Follow them and command your people to follow the good advice therein, and I will show you the dwellings of the evil-doers.] - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And We ordained for him in the tablets admonition of every kind and clear explanation of all things; so take hold of them with firmness and enjoin your people to take hold of what is best thereof; I will show you the abode of the transgressors. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
And We wrote for him upon the Tablets an admonition and details of all things, then [bade him], [Hold fast to them; and command your people to follow them in their best sense. Soon I shall show you the home of the wicked. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے توریت کی تختیوں میں ہر شے میں سے نصیحت کاحصہ اور ہر چیز کی تفصیل لکھ دی ہے لہذا اسے مضبوطی کے ساتھ پکڑلو اور اپنی قوم کوحکم دو کہ اس کی اچھی اچھی باتوں کو لے لیں. میں عنقریب تمہیں فاسقین کے گھردکھلادوں گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اس کے بعد ہم نے موسیٰؑ کو ہر شعبہ زندگی کے متعلق نصیحت اور ہر پہلو کے متعلق واضح ہدایت تختیوں پر لکھ کر دے دی اور اس سے کہا: ——اِن ہدایات کو مضبوط ہاتھوں سے سنبھال اور اپنی قوم کو حکم دے کہ ان کے بہتر مفہوم کی پیروی کریں عنقریب میں تمہیں فاسقوں کے گھر دکھاؤں گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہم نے اس کے لیے تختیوں میں لکھ دی ہر چیز کی نصیحت اور ہر چیز کی تفصیل، اور فرمایا اے موسیٰ اسے مضبوطی سے لے اور اپنی قوم کو حکم دے کر اس کی اچھی باتیں اختیار کریں عنقریب میں تمہیں دکھاؤں گا بے حکموں کا گھر - Ahmed Raza

اور ہم نے موسیٰ کے لیے ان تختیوں میں ہر قسم کی نصیحت اور ہر چیز کی تفصیل لکھ دی ہے۔ پس اسے مضبوطی سے پکڑ لو اور اپنی قوم کو حکم دو کہ وہ اس کی بہترین باتوں کو لے لیں (اس کے احکام پر کاربند ہو جائیں) میں عنقریب تم لوگوں کو نافرمان لوگوں کا گھر دکھا دوں گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

So, I turn away
عَنْ
from
ءَايَٰتِىَ
My signs
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
يَتَكَبَّرُونَ
feel superior
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land
بِغَيْرِ
without
ٱلْحَقِّ
the facts,
وَإِن
and if
يَرَوْا۟
they see
كُلَّ
all
ءَايَةٍۢ
signs,
لَّا
not
يُؤْمِنُوا۟
they become convinced
بِهَا
about them,
وَإِن
and if
يَرَوْا۟
they see
سَبِيلَ
way of
ٱلرُّشْدِ
rationality,
لَا
not
يَتَّخِذُوهُ
they adopt it
سَبِيلًۭا
as a way;
وَإِن
while if
يَرَوْا۟
they see
سَبِيلَ
way of
ٱلْغَىِّ
going out of limit
يَتَّخِذُوهُ
they adopt it
سَبِيلًۭا
as a way;
ۚ
ذَٰلِكَ
that is
بِأَنَّهُمْ
due to their
كَذَّبُوا۟
continuously lying
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
regarding Our signs,
وَكَانُوا۟
and they had been
عَنْهَا
about them (the signs)
غَٰفِلِينَ
inattentive.
٧
١٤٦
سَأَصْرِفُ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتَكَبَّرُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كُلَّ ءَايَةٍۢ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهَا وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ سَبِيلَ ٱلرُّشْدِ لَا يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلًۭا وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ سَبِيلَ ٱلْغَىِّ يَتَّخِذُوهُ سَبِيلًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا غَٰفِلِينَ So, I turn away from My signs the ones who feel superior in the land without the facts, and if they see all signs, not they become convinced about them, and if they see way of rationality, not they adopt it as a way; while if they see way of going out of limit they adopt it as a way; that is due to their continuously lying regarding Our signs, and they had been about them (the signs) inattentive.

I shall turn away from My revelations those who magnify themselves wrongfully in the earth, and if they see each token believe it not, and if they see the way of righteousness choose it nor for (their) way, and if they see the way of error choose if for (their) way. That is because they deny Our revelations and are used to disregard them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Soon I shall turn away from My signs those who are unduly arrogant in the earth: [even] though they should see every sign, they will not believe in it, and if they see the way of rectitude they will not take it as [their] way, and if they see the way of error they will take it as [their] way. That is because they deny Our signs and are oblivious to them.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

We will deprive those who are wrongly proud in the land of the blessing of revelations. Even if they would see all kinds of miracles, they would not have faith, or even to see the right path, they would not follow it. They would follow the rebellious way if they were to find one; in their ignorance, they have called Our revelations mere lies. - Sarwar, Muhammad

I will turn away from My communications those who are unjustly proud in the earth; and if they see every sign they will not believe in It; and if they see the way of rectitude they do not take It for a way, and if they see the way of error. they take it for a way; this is because they rejected Our communications and were heedless of them. - Shakir, Habib

I will turn away from My signs all those who are arrogant in the land without any right, so that even if they see all the signs they will not believe in them. میں عنقریب اپنی آیتوں کی طرف سے ان لوگوں کو پھیر دوں گا جو روئے زمین میں ناحق اکڑتے پھرتے ہیں اور یہ کسی بھی نشانی کو دیکھ لیں ایمان لانے والے نہیں ہیں -ان کا حال یہ ہے کہ ہدایت کا راستہ دیکھیں گے تو اسے اپنا راستہ نہ بنائیں گے اور گمراہی کا راستہ دیکھیں گے تو اسے فورا اختیار کرلیں گے یہ سب اس لئے ہے کہ انہوں نے ہماری نشانیوں کو جھٹلایا ہے اوران کی طرف سے غافل تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

میں اپنی نشانیوں سے اُن لوگوں کی نگاہیں پھیر دوں گا جو بغیر کسی حق کے زمین میں بڑے بنتے ہیں، وہ خواہ کوئی نشانی دیکھ لیں کبھی اس پر ایمان نہ لائیں گے، اگر سیدھا راستہ اُن کے سامنے آئے تو اسے اختیار نہ کریں گے اور اگر ٹیٹرھا راستہ نظر آئے تو اس پر چل پڑیں گے، اس لیے کہ انہوں نے ہماری نشانیوں کو جھٹلایا اور ان سے بے پروائی کرتے رہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Those who deny Our revelations and the meeting of the Hereafter, their works are fruitless. Are they requited aught save what they used to do? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who deny Our signs and the encounter of the Hereafter, their works have failed. Shall they not be requited for what they used to do? - Qarai, Ali Quli

The deeds of those who have called Our revelations and belief in the Day of Judgment mere lies, will be turned devoid of all virtue. Can they expect to receive a reward for their deeds other than that which is the result of their deeds? - Sarwar, Muhammad

وَٱتَّخَذَ قَوْمُ مُوسَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ مِنْ حُلِيِّهِمْ عِجْلًۭا جَسَدًۭا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌ ۚ أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّهُۥ لَا يُكَلِّمُهُمْ وَلَا يَهْدِيهِمْ سَبِيلًا ۘ ٱتَّخَذُوهُ وَكَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the folk of Moses, after (he left them), chose a calf (for worship), (made) out of their ornaments, of saffron hue, which gave a lowing sound. Saw they not that it spake not unto them nor guided them to any way? They chose it, and became wrong-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The people of Moses took up in his absence a calf [cast] from their ornaments—a body that gave out a lowing sound. Did they not regard that it did not speak to them, nor did it guide them to any way? They took it up [for worship] and they were wrongdoers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور موسٰی علیھ السّلامکی قوم نے ان کے بعد اپنے زیورات سے گوسالہ کا مجسمہ بنایا جس میں آواز بھی تھی کیاان لوگوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ وہ نہ بات کرنے کے لائق ہے اور نہ کوئی راستہ دکھا سکتا ہے انہوں نے اسے خدا بنالیا اور وہ لوگ واقعاظلم کرنے والے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

موسیٰؑ کے پیچھے اس کی قوم کے لوگوں نے اپنے زیوروں سے ایک بچھڑے کا پتلا بنا لیا جس میں سے بیل کی سی آواز نکلتی تھی کیا اُنہیں نظر نہ آتا تھا کہ وہ نہ ان سے بولتا ہے نہ کسی معاملہ میں ان کی رہنمائی کرتا ہے؟ مگر پھر بھی اُنہوں نے اسے معبود بنا لیا اور وہ سخت ظالم تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

And when they feared the consequences thereof and saw that they had gone astray, they said: Unless our Lord have mercy on us and forgive us, we verily are of the lost. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But when they became remorseful and realised they had gone astray, they said, [Should our Lord have no mercy on us, and forgive us, we will be surely among the losers.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

When they found that they had believed in the wrong thing, they regretfully said, [If our Lord will not have mercy on us and forgive us, we will certainly be lost.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when they repented and saw that they had gone astray, they said: If our Lord show not mercy to us and forgive us we shall certainly be of the losers. - Shakir, Habib

When they were afflicted with remorse, and realized that they had indeed gone astray, they said, [If our Lord does not have mercy on us and forgive us, we shall be among the lost.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب وہ پچھتائے اور انہوں نے دیکھ لیا کہ وہ بہک گئے ہیں تو کہنے لگے کہ اگر ہمارا پروردگار ہمارے او پر رحم نہ کرے گا اور ہمیں معاف نہ کرے گا تو ہم خسارہ والوں میں شامل ہوجائیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر جب ان کی فریب خوردگی کا طلسم ٹوٹ گیا او ر اُنہوں نے دیکھ لیا کہ در حقیقت وہ گمراہ ہو گئے ہیں تو کہنے لگے کہ ——اگر ہمارے رب نے ہم پر رحم نہ فرمایا اور ہم سے درگزر نہ کیا تو ہم برباد ہو جائیں گے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَلَمَّا رَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ غَضْبَٰنَ أَسِفًۭا قَالَ بِئْسَمَا خَلَفْتُمُونِى مِنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ أَعَجِلْتُمْ أَمْرَ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ وَأَلْقَى ٱلْأَلْوَاحَ وَأَخَذَ بِرَأْسِ أَخِيهِ يَجُرُّهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِ ۚ قَالَ ٱبْنَ أُمَّ إِنَّ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱسْتَضْعَفُونِى وَكَادُوا۟ يَقْتُلُونَنِى فَلَا تُشْمِتْ بِىَ ٱلْأَعْدَآءَ وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِى مَعَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And when Moses returned unto his people, angry and grieved, he said: Evil is that (course) which ye took after I had left you. Would ye hasten on the judgment of your Lord? And he cast down the tablets, and he seized his brother by the head, dragging him toward him. He said: Son of my mother! Lo! the folk did judge me weak and almost killed me. And when Musa returned to his people, wrathful (and) in violent grief, he said: Evil is it that you have done after me; did you turn away from the bidding of your Lord? And he threw down the tablets and seized his brother by the head, dragging him towards him. He said: Son of my mother! surely the people reckoned me weak and had well-nigh slain me, therefore make not the enemies to rejoice over me and count me not among the unjust people. - Shakir, Habib

اورجب موسٰی علیھ السّلاماپنی قوم کی طرف واپس آئے تو غیظ و غضب کے عالم میں کہنے لگے کہ تم نے میرے بعد بہت بفِی حرکت کی ہے -تم نے حکم خدا کے آنے میں کس قدر عجلت سے کام لیا ہے اور پھر انہوں نے توریت کی تختیوں کو ڈال دیا اور اپنے بھائی کا سرپکڑ کر کھینچنے لگے -ہارون علیھ السّلامنے کہا بھائی قوم نے مجھے کمزور بنادیا تھا اور قریب تھاکہ مجھے قتل کردیتے تو میں کیا کرتا -آپ دشمنوں کو طعنہ کا موقع نہ دیجئے اور میرا شمار ظالمین کے ساتھ نہ کیجئے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ادھر سے موسیٰؑ غصے اور رنج میں بھرا ہوا اپنی قوم کی طرف پلٹا آتے ہی اس نے کہا ——بہت بری جانشینی کی تم لوگوں نے میرے بعد! کیا تم سے اتنا صبر نہ ہوا کہ اپنے رب کے حکم کا انتظار کر لیتے؟—— اور تختیاں پھینک دیں اور اپنے بھا ئی (ہارونؑ) کے سر کے بال پکڑ کر اسے کھینچا ہارونؑ نے کہا ——اے میری ماں کے بیٹے، اِن لوگوں نے مجھے دبا لیا اور قریب تھا کہ مجھے مار ڈالتے پس تو دشمنوں کو مجھ پر ہنسنے کا موقع نہ دے اور اس ظالم گروہ کے ساتھ مجھے نہ شامل کر—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور جب موسیٰ خشمناک اور افسوس کرتے ہوئے اپنی قوم کے پاس واپس آئے۔ تو فرمایا: اے قوم! تم نے میرے بعد بہت ہی بری جانشینی کی۔ کیا تم نے اپنے پروردگار کا حکم آنے سے پہلے جلد بازی کر لی (وعدہ خداوندی چالیس راتوں کے پورا ہونے کی انتظار بھی نہ کی) اور پھر (للہی جوش میں آخر تورات کی) تختیاں (ہاتھ سے) پھینک دیں اور اپنے بھائی (ہارون) کا سر ہاتھ میں لے کر اپنی طرف کھینچنے لگے۔ انہوں نے کہا اے میرے ماں جائے! قوم نے مجھے کمزور اور بے بس کر دیا تھا اور قریب تھا کہ مجھے قتل کر ڈالیں پس تم مجھ پر دشمنوں کو ہنسنے کا موقع نہ دو۔ اور نہ ہی مجھے ظالم گروہ کے ساتھ شامل کرو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Lo! Those who chose the calf (for worship), terror from their Lord and humiliation will come upon them in the life of the world. Thus do We requite those who invent a lie. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed those who took up the calf [for worship] shall be overtaken by their Lord]s wrath and abasement in the life of the world.] Thus do We requite the fabricators [of lies]. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(The Lord said), [Those who worshipped the calf will be afflicted by the wrath of their Lord and disgraced in their worldly life. Thus, We will recompense those who invent falsehood. - Sarwar, Muhammad
