وَأَبْكَارًۭا

عَسَىٰ رَبُّهُۥٓ إِن طَلَّقَكُنَّ أَن يُبْدِلَهُۥٓ أَزْوَٰجًا خَيْرًۭا مِّنكُنَّ مُسْلِمَٰتٍۢ مُّؤْمِنَٰتٍۢ قَٰنِتَٰتٍۢ تَٰٓئِبَٰتٍ عَٰبِدَٰتٍۢ سَٰٓئِحَٰتٍۢ ثَيِّبَٰتٍۢ وَأَبْكَارًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

It may happen that his Lord, if he divorce you, will give him in your stead wives better than you, submissive (to Allah), believing, pious, penitent, devout, inclined to fasting, widows and maids. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It may be that if he divorces you his Lord will give him, in [your] stead, wives better than you: [such as are] muslim, faithful, obedient, penitent, devout and given to fasting, virgins and non-virgins. - Qarai, Ali Quli

بعید نہیں کہ اگر نبیؐ تم سب بیویوں کو طلاق دیدے تو اللہ اسے ایسی بیویاں تمہارے بدلے میں عطا فرما دے جو تم سے بہتر ہوں، سچی مسلمان، با ایمان، اطاعت گزار، توبہ گزار، عبادت گزار، اور روزہ دار، خواہ شوہر دیدہ ہوں یا باکرہ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

O ye who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire whereof the fuel is men and stones, over which are set angels strong, severe, who resist not Allah in that which He commandeth them, but do that which they are commanded. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اے ایمان والو! اپنی جانوں اور اپنے گھر والوں کو آگ سے بچاؤ جس کے ایندھن آدمی اور پتھر ہیں اس پر سخت کرّے (طاقتور) فرشتے مقرر ہیں جو اللہ کا حکم نہیں ٹالتے اور جو انہیں حکم ہو وہی کرتے ہیں - Ahmed Raza

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

(Then it will be said): O ye who disbelieve! Make no excuses for yourselves this day. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

[They will call out to the faithless:] [O faithless ones! Do not make any excuses today. You are being requited only for what you used to do.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ تُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوْبَةًۭ نَّصُوحًا عَسَىٰ رَبُّكُمْ أَن يُكَفِّرَ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَيُدْخِلَكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ يَوْمَ لَا يُخْزِى ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّبِىَّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ ۖ نُورُهُمْ يَسْعَىٰ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِمْ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَٱغْفِرْ لَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Repent to Allah with sincere repentance! Maybe your Lord will absolve you of your misdeeds and admit you into gardens with streams running in them, on the day when Allah will not let down the Prophet and the faithful who are with him. Their light will move swiftly before them and on their right. They will say, [Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Indeed You have power over all things.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, turn to God in repentance with the intention of never repeating the same sin. Perhaps your Lord will expiate your evil deeds and admit you to Paradise wherein streams flow. On the Day of Judgment, God will not disgrace the Prophet and those who have believed in him. Their lights will shine in front of them and to their right. They will say, [Our Lord, perfect our light for us and forgive our sins. You have power over all things]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! turn to Allah a sincere turning; maybe your Lord will remove from you your evil and cause you to enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, on the day on which Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him; their light shall run on before them and on their right hands; they shall say: Our Lord! make perfect for us our light, and grant us protection, surely Thou hast power over all things. - Shakir, Habib

ایمان والو خلوص دل کے ساتھ توبہ کرو عنقریب تمہارا پروردگار تمہاری برائیوں کو مٹا دے گا اور تمہیں ان جنتوں میں داخل کردے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی اس دن خدا اپنے نبی اور صاحبانِ ایمان کو رسوا نہیں ہونے دے گا ان کا نور ان کے آگے آگے اور داہنی طرف چل رہا ہوگا اور وہ کہیں گے کہ خدایا ہمارے لئے ہمارے نور کو مکمل کردے اور ہمیں بخش دے کہ تو یقینا ہر شے پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، اللہ سے توبہ کرو، خالص توبہ، بعید نہیں کہ اللہ تمہاری برائیاں تم سے دور کر دے اور تمہیں ایسی جنتوں میں داخل فرما دے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی یہ وہ دن ہوگا جب اللہ اپنے نبی کو اور اُن لوگوں جو اس کے ساتھ ایمان لائے ہیں رسوا نہ کرے گا اُن کا نور اُن کے آگے آگے اور ان کے دائیں جانب دوڑ رہا ہوگا اور وہ کہہ رہے ہوں گے کہ اے ہمارے رب، ہمارا نور ہمارے لیے مکمل کر دے اور ہم سے درگزر فرما، تو ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! اللہ کی طرف ایسی توبہ کرو جو آگے کو نصیحت ہوجائے قریب ہے تمہارا رب تمہاری برائیاں تم سے اتار دے اور تمہیں باغوں میں لے جائے جن کے نیچے نہریں بہیں جس دن اللہ رسوا نہ کرے گا نبی اور ان کے ساتھ کے ایمان والوں کو ان کا نور دوڑتا ہوگا ان کے آگے اور ان کے دہنے عرض کریں گے، اے ہمارے رب! ہمارے لیے ہمارا نور پورا کردے اور ہمیں بخش دے، بیشک تجھے ہر چیز پر قدرت ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اے ایمان والو! اللہ کی بارگاہ میں (سچے دل سے) خالص توبہ کرو۔ امید ہے کہ تمہارا پروردگار تم سے تمہاری برائیاں دور کر دے گا اور تمہیں ایسے بہشتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں جس دن خدا (اپنے) نبی(ص) کو اور ان لوگوں کو جو آپ(ص) کے ساتھ ایمان لائے ہیں رسوا نہیں کرے گا (اس دن) ان کا نور ان کے آگے اور ان کے دائیں جانب تیز تیز چل رہا ہوگا (اور) وہ کہہ رہے ہوں گۓ اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہمارے لئے ہمارا نور مکمل کر اور ہماری مغفرت فرما بےشک تو ہر چیز پر بڑی قدرت رکھتا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah cites an example of the faithless: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of our righteous servants, yet they betrayed them. So they did not avail them in any way against Allah, and it was said [to them], [Enter the Fire, along with those who enter [it].] - Qarai, Ali Quli
