ٱلَّذِينَ
The ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
are of conviction,
وَلَمْ
and not
يَلْبِسُوٓا۟
they cover
إِيمَٰنَهُم
their trusts
بِظُلْمٍ
with injustice,
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
لَهُمُ
for whom is
ٱلْأَمْنُ
the tranquillity
وَهُم
and they are those
مُّهْتَدُونَ
who are guided.
٦
٨٢
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَمْ يَلْبِسُوٓا۟ إِيمَٰنَهُم بِظُلْمٍ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْأَمْنُ وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ The ones who are of conviction, and not they cover their trusts with injustice, those are for whom is the tranquillity and they are those who are guided.

Those who believe and obscure not their belief by wrongdoing, theirs is safety; and they are rightly guided. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who have faith and do not taint their faith with wrongdoing—for such there shall be safety, and they are the [rightly] guided.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those who have accepted the faith and have kept it pure from injustice, have achieved security and guidance. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Those who believe and do not mix up their faith with iniquity, those are they who shall have the security and they are those who go aright. - Shakir, Habib

جو لوگ ایمان لے آئے اور انہوں نے اپنے ایمان کو ظلم سے آلودہ نہیں کیا ان ہی کے لئے امن وسکون ہے اور وہی ہدایت یافتہ ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

حقیقت میں تو امن انہی کے لیے ہے اور راہ راست پر وہی ہیں جو ایمان لائے اور جنہوں نے اپنے ایمان کو ظلم کے ساتھ آلودہ نہیں کیا—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَتِلْكَ
And these were
حُجَّتُنَآ
Our arguments
ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ
which We gave to
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
Ibrahim
عَلَىٰ
upon
قَوْمِهِۦ
his nation.
ۚ
نَرْفَعُ
We raise
دَرَجَٰتٍۢ
levels
مَّن
of whom
نَّشَآءُ
We desire;
ۗ
إِنَّ
indeed
رَبَّكَ
your Rabb is
حَكِيمٌ
wisely
عَلِيمٌۭ
well informed.
٦
٨٣
وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ ۚ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَٰتٍۢ مَّن نَّشَآءُ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌۭ And these were Our arguments which We gave to Ibrahim upon his nation. We raise levels of whom We desire; indeed your Rabb is wisely well informed.

That is Our argument. We gave it unto Abraham against his folk. We raise unto degrees of wisdom whom We will. Lo! thy Lord is Wise, Aware. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

This was Our argument that We gave to Abraham against his people. We raise in rank whomever We wish. Indeed your Lord is all-wise, all-knowing. - Qarai, Ali Quli

وَوَهَبْنَا
And We granted
لَهُۥٓ
to him (Ibrahim)
إِسْحَٰقَ
Ishaaq
وَيَعْقُوبَ
and Yaqoob;
ۚ
كُلًّا
all of whom
هَدَيْنَا
We guided;
ۚ
وَنُوحًا
and Nooh
هَدَيْنَا
We had directed
مِن
of
قَبْلُ
before;
ۖ
وَمِن
and from
ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ
his (Ibrahim's) lineage
دَاوُۥدَ
Dawood,
وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ
and Suleyman,
وَأَيُّوبَ
and Ayuub,
وَيُوسُفَ
and Yousuf,
وَمُوسَىٰ
and Moosa
وَهَٰرُونَ
and Haroon;
ۚ
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
and that is how
نَجْزِى
We reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers.
٦
٨٤
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۚ كُلًّا هَدَيْنَا ۚ وَنُوحًا هَدَيْنَا مِن قَبْلُ ۖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِۦ دَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ And We granted to him (Ibrahim) Ishaaq and Yaqoob; all of whom We guided; and Nooh We had directed of before; and from his (Ibrahim's) lineage Dawood, and Suleyman, and Ayuub, and Yousuf, and Moosa and Haroon; and that is how We reward the good-doers.

And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of his seed (We guided) David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And We gave him Isaac and Jacob and guided each of them. And Noah We had guided before, and from his offspring, David and Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron—thus do We reward the virtuous— - Qarai, Ali Quli

We gave (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob. Both had received Our guidance. Noah received Our guidance before Abraham and so did his descendants: David, Solomon, Job, Joseph, Moses, and Aaron. Thus is the reward for the righteous people. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We gave to him Ishaq and Yaqoub; each did We guide, and Nuh did We guide before, and of his descendants, Dawood and Sulaiman and Ayub and Yusuf and Musa and Haroun; and thus do We reward those who do good (to others). - Shakir, Habib

We gave him Isaac and Jacob, each of whom We guided as We had guided Noah before. Among his descendants were David and Solomon, and Job, Joseph, Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the righteous. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے ابراہیم علیھ السّلامکو اسحاق علیھ السّلامو یعقوب علیھ السّلامدئیے اور سب کو ہدایت بھی دی اور اس کے پہلے نوح علیھ السّلامکو ہدایت دی اور پھر ابراہیم علیھ السّلامکی اولاد میں داؤد علیھ السّلام ,سلیمان علیھ السّلامًایوب علیھ السّلامً یوسف علیھ السّلام,موسٰی علیھ السّلام ,اور ہارون علیھ السّلامقرار دئیے اور ہم ِسی طرح نیک عمل کرنے والوں کو جزا دیتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر ہم نے ابراہیمؑ کو اسحاقؑ اور یعقوبؑ جیسی اولاد دی اور ہر ایک کو راہ راست دکھائی (وہی راہ راست جو) اس سے پہلے نوحؑ کو دکھائی تھی اور اُسی کی نسل سے ہم نے داؤدؑ، سلیمانؑ، ایوبؑ، یوسفؑ، موسیٰؑ اور ہارونؑ کو (ہدایت بخشی) اِس طرح ہم نیکو کاروں کو ان کی نیکی کا بدلہ دیتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہم نے انہیں اسحاق اور یعقوب عطا کیے، ان سب کو ہم نے راہ دکھائی اور ان سے پہلے نوح کو راہ دکھائی اور میں اس کی اولاد میں سے داؤد اور سلیمان اور ایوب اور یوسف اور موسیٰ اور ہارون کو، اور ہم ایسا ہی بدلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوکاروں کو، - Ahmed Raza

اور ہم نے انہیں اسحاق جیسا (بیٹا) اور یعقوب (جیسا پوتا) عطا فرمایا۔ ہر ایک کو ہم نے ہدایت دی اور ان سے پہلے نوح کو ہدایت دی۔ اور ان (نوح یا ابراہیم) کی اولاد میں سے داؤد، سلیمان، ایوب، یوسف، موسیٰ، ہارون کو (بھی ہدایت دی) اور اسی طرح ہم نیکوکاروں کو جزا دیا کرتے ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
the constructive-workers.
And Zakariya, and Yahya, and Essa, and Ilyaas; all were from the constructive-workers.
⦿
And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one (of them) was of the righteous. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and Zechariah, John, Jesus and Ilyas—each of them among the righteous— - Qarai, Ali Quli

We also gave guidance to Zacharias, John, Jesus, and Elias, who were all pious people, - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Zakariya and Yahya and Isa and Ilyas; every one was of the good; - Shakir, Habib

Zachariah, John, Jesus, and Elijah, every one of them was righteous, - Wahiduddin Khan

اور زکریا علیھ السّلام,یحیٰی علیھ السّلام,عیسٰی علیھ السّلاماور الیاس علیھ السّلام کو بھی رکھا جو سب کے سب نیک کرداروں میں تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
⦿
(اُسی کی اولاد سے) زکریاؑ، یحییٰؑ، عیسیٰؑ اور الیاسؑ کو (راہ یاب کیا) ہر ایک ان میں سے صالح تھا - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور زکریا اور یحییٰ اور عیسیٰ اور الیاس کو یہ سب ہمارے قرب کے لائق ہیں - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اور زکریا، یحییٰ، عیسیٰ اور الیاس کو (بھی ہم نے ہدایت دی) جو سب صالحین میں سے تھے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ
And Isma'eel,
وَٱلْيَسَعَ
and Yasa'a
وَيُونُسَ
and Yunus,
وَلُوطًۭا
and Loot;
ۚ
وَكُلًّۭا
all whom
فَضَّلْنَا
We favoured
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
all the states of being.
And Isma'eel, and Yasa'a and Yunus, and Loot; all whom We favoured upon all the states of being.
⦿
And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot. Each one (of them) did We prefer above (Our) creatures, - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
and Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah and Lot—each We graced over all the nations— - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
and Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot whom We exalted over all people. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
And Ismail and Al-Yasha and Yunus and Lut; and every one We made to excel (in) the worlds: - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Ishmael, Elisha, Jonah, and Lot -- We favoured each one of them above other people, - Wahiduddin Khan

اور اسماعیل علیھ السّلام, الیسع علیھ السّلام ,یونس علیھ السّلام اور لوط علیھ السّلام بھی بنائے اور سب کو عالمین سے افضل و بہتر بنایا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(اسی کے خاندان سے) اسماعیلؑ، الیسعؑ، اور یونسؑ اور لوطؑ کو (راستہ دکھایا) اِن میں سے ہر ایک کو ہم نے تمام دنیا والوں پر فضیلت عطا کی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اسماعیل اور یسع اور یونس اور لوط کو، اور ہم نے ہر ایک کو اس کے وقت میں سب پر فضیلت دی - Ahmed Raza

وَٱجْتَبَيْنَٰهُمْ
We chose them
وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمْ
and guided them
إِلَىٰ
to
صِرَٰطٍۢ
a path that is
مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
stable.
٦
٨٧
وَمِنْ ءَابَآئِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّٰتِهِمْ وَإِخْوَٰنِهِمْ ۖ وَٱجْتَبَيْنَٰهُمْ وَهَدَيْنَٰهُمْ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍۢ مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ And from their forefathers and their lineages and their brothers, We chose them and guided them to a path that is stable.

With some of their forefathers and their offspring and their brethren; and We chose them and guided them unto a straight path. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اور پھر ان کے باپ دادا ,اولاد اور برادری میں سے اور خود انہیں بھی منتخب کیا اور سب کو سیدھے راستہ کی ہدایت کردی - Jawadi, Zeeshan

نیز ان کے آبا و اجداد اور ان کی اولاد اور ان کے بھائی بندوں میں سے بہتوں کو ہم نے نوازا، انہیں اپنی خدمت کے لیے چن لیا اور سیدھے راستے کی طرف اُن کی رہنمائی کی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور کچھ ان کے باپ دادا اور اولاد اور بھائیوں میں سے بعض کو اور ہم نے انہیں چن لیا اور سیدھی راہ دکھائی، - Ahmed Raza

اور ان کے آباء و اجداد اور اولاد اور بھائیوں میں سے بھی (کچھ کو ہدایت دی) اور ہم نے انہیں منتخب کیا اور سیدھے راستے کی ہدایت دی۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

That is
هُدَى
guidance of
ٱللَّهِ
the One;
يَهْدِى
He guides
بِهِۦ
about it
مَن
who
يَشَآءُ
He desires
مِنْ
from
عِبَادِهِۦ
His slaves;
ۚ
وَلَوْ
had it been that
أَشْرَكُوا۟
they added authorities (with the One),
لَحَبِطَ
would have been defeated
عَنْهُم
against them
مَّا
what
كَانُوا۟
they had been
يَعْمَلُونَ
doing.
٦
٨٨
ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ ۚ وَلَوْ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَحَبِطَ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ That is guidance of the One; He guides about it who He desires from His slaves; had it been that they added authorities (with the One), would have been defeated against them what they had been doing.

Such is the guidance of Allah wherewith He guideth whom He will of His bondmen. But if they had set up (for worship) aught beside Him, (all) that they did would have been vain. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

That is Allah]s guidance: with it, He guides whomever He wishes of His servants. But were they to ascribe any partners [to Allah], what they used to do would not avail them. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Such is the guidance of God by which He guides whichever of His servants He wants. If people worship idols, their deeds will be turned devoid of all virtue. - Sarwar, Muhammad

This is Allah's guidance, He guides thereby whom He pleases of His servants; and if they had set up others (with Him), certainly what they did would have become ineffectual for them. - Shakir, Habib

ذا ⇐ ذلك | that | thereof | though | therefrom
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those are
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones to whom
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ
We gave
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book,
وَٱلْحُكْمَ
and the Judgement,
وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ
and Leadership.
ۚ
فَإِن
Then if
يَكْفُرْ
deny
بِهَا
about them (the Book, the Judgement, and the Leadership)
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
these people,
فَقَدْ
then certainly
وَكَّلْنَا
We have appointed
بِهَا
through them
قَوْمًۭا
nations
لَّيْسُوا۟
not who are
بِهَا
about them
بِكَٰفِرِينَ
with deniers.
٦
٨٩
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحُكْمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ ۚ فَإِن يَكْفُرْ بِهَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ فَقَدْ وَكَّلْنَا بِهَا قَوْمًۭا لَّيْسُوا۟ بِهَا بِكَٰفِرِينَ Those are the ones to whom We gave the Book, and the Judgement, and Leadership. Then if deny about them (the Book, the Judgement, and the Leadership) these people, then certainly We have appointed through them nations not who are about them with deniers.

Those are they unto whom We gave the Scripture and command and prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein, then indeed We shall entrust it to a people who will not be disbelievers therein. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They are the ones whom We gave the Book, judgement and prophethood. So if these disbelieve in them, We have certainly entrusted them to a people who will never disbelieve in them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those are
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones whom
هَدَى
guided
ٱللَّهُ
the One;
ۖ
فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ
thus through their guidance
ٱقْتَدِهْ
make them a model.
ۗ
قُل
Say,
لَّآ
[Not
أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
I ask you all
عَلَيْهِ
upon it
أَجْرًا
a payment;
ۖ
إِنْ
indeed
هُوَ
it is
إِلَّا
not except
ذِكْرَىٰ
a reminder
لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ
for the nations.]
٦
٩٠
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ ۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقْتَدِهْ ۗ قُل لَّآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا ۖ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ Those are the ones whom guided the One; thus through their guidance make them a model. Say, [Not I ask you all upon it a payment; indeed it is not except a reminder for the nations.]

Those are they whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for it. Lo! it is naught but a Reminder to (His) creatures. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They are the ones whom Allah has guided. So follow their guidance. Say, [I do not ask you any recompense for it. It is just an admonition for all the nations.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

We had guided the Prophets. (Muhammad), follow their guidance and say (to the people), [I do not ask any reward for what I have preached to you. It is my duty to awaken the world.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

These are they whom Allah guided, therefore follow their guidance. Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; it is nothing but a reminder to the nations. - Shakir, Habib

Those [the previous prophets] were the people whom God guided. Follow their guidance then and say, [I ask no reward for this from you: it is only a reminder for all mankind.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اے محمدؐ! وہی لوگ اللہ کی طرف سے ہدایت یافتہ تھے، انہی کے راستہ پر تم چلو، اور کہہ دو کہ میں (اس تبلیغ و ہدایت کے) کام پر تم سے کسی اجر کا طالب نہیں ہوں، یہ تو ایک عام نصیحت ہے تمام دنیا والوں کے لیے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

قَدَرُوا۟
they valued

they said,
مَآ
[Not
أَنزَلَ
has descended
ٱللَّهُ
the One
عَلَىٰ
upon
بَشَرٍۢ
man
مِّن
of
شَىْءٍۢ
a thing.]
ۗ
قُلْ
Say,
مَنْ
[Who
أَنزَلَ
descended
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the book
ٱلَّذِى
the one which
جَآءَ
came
بِهِۦ
with it
مُوسَىٰ
Moosa
نُورًۭا
as a light
وَهُدًۭى
and guidance
لِّلنَّاسِ
for the people;
ۖ
تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ
you make it into
قَرَاطِيسَ
writings on paper to
تُبْدُونَهَا
show from it,
وَتُخْفُونَ
while you hide
كَثِيرًۭا
much of it;
ۖ
وَعُلِّمْتُم
and (who) taught you
مَّا
what
لَمْ
not
تَعْلَمُوٓا۟
you knew
أَنتُمْ
at all,
وَلَآ
neither
ءَابَآؤُكُمْ
your forefathers?]
ۖ
قُلِ
Say,
ٱللَّهُ
[The One!]
ۖ
ثُمَّ
then
ذَرْهُمْ
leave them
فِى
in
خَوْضِهِمْ
their occupations of
يَلْعَبُونَ
time pass.
٦
٩١
وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ بَشَرٍۢ مِّن شَىْءٍۢ ۗ قُلْ مَنْ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِى جَآءَ بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ نُورًۭا وَهُدًۭى لِّلنَّاسِ ۖ تَجْعَلُونَهُۥ قَرَاطِيسَ تُبْدُونَهَا وَتُخْفُونَ كَثِيرًۭا ۖ وَعُلِّمْتُم مَّا لَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُكُمْ ۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ ۖ ثُمَّ ذَرْهُمْ فِى خَوْضِهِمْ يَلْعَبُونَ And not they valued the One as is right of His value when they said, [Not has descended the One upon man of a thing.] Say, [Who descended the book the one which came with it Moosa as a light and guidance for the people; you make it into writings on paper to show from it, while you hide much of it; and (who) taught you what not you knew at all, neither your forefathers?] Say, [The One!] then leave them in their occupations of time pass.

And they measure not the power of Allah its true measure when they say: Allah hath naught revealed unto a human being. Say (unto the Jews who speak thus): Who revealed the Book which Moses brought, a light and guidance for mankind, which ye have put on parchments which ye show, but ye hide much (thereof), and (by which) ye were taught that which ye knew not yourselves nor (did) your fathers (know it)? Say: Allah. Then leave them to their play of cavilling. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They did not regard Allah with the regard due to Him when they said, [Allah has not sent down anything to any human.] Say, [Who had sent down the Book that was brought by Moses as a light and guidance for the people, which you make into parchments that you display, while you conceal much of it, and [by means of which] you were taught what you did not know, [neither] you nor your fathers?] Say, [Allah!] Then leave them to play around in their impious gossip. - Qarai, Ali Quli

They have no true respect of God when they say, [God has not sent anything to a mortal being.] (Muhammad), tell them, [Who revealed the Book containing a light and guidance for the people which Moses brought? You wrote down only some parts of the original on paper and hid much, even after having learnt from it, that which neither you nor your fathers knew.] Tell them, [God has (revealed the Quran),] and then leave them alone to pursue their useless investigations. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they do not assign to Allah the attributes due to Him when they say: Allah has not revealed anything to a mortal. Say: Who revealed the Book which Musa brought, a light and a guidance to men, which you make into scattered writings which you show while you conceal much? And you were taught what you did not know, (neither) you nor your fathers. Say: Allah then leave them sporting in their vain discourses. - Shakir, Habib

They do not make a just estimate of God, when they say, [God has not revealed anything to any human being.] Say, [Who revealed the Book which Moses brought, a light and guidance for the people, which you made into separate sheets, showing some but hiding many? You have been taught things that neither you nor your forefathers had known before.] Say, [God has sent it;] then leave them toying away with their speculation. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ان لوگوں نے واقعی خدا کی قدر نہیں کی جب کہ یہ کہہ دیا کہ اللہ نے کسی بشر پر کچھ نہیں نازل کیا ہے تو ان سے پوچھئے کہ یہ کتاب جو موسٰی علیھ السّلاملے کر آئے تھے جو نور اور لوگوں کے لئے ہدایت تھی اور جسے تم نے چند کاغذات بنادیا ہے اور کچھ حصّہ ظاہر کیا اور کچھ چھپادیا حالانکہ اس کے ذریعہ تمہیں وہ سب بتادیا گیا تھا جو تمہارے باپ دادا کو بھی نہیں معلوم تھا یہ سب کس نے نازل کیا ہے اب آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ وہ وہی اللہ ہے اور پھر انہیں چھوڑ دیجئے یہ اپنی بکواس میں کھیلتے پھریں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ان لوگوں نے اللہ کا بہت غلط اندازہ لگایا جب کہا کہ اللہ نے کسی بشر پر کچھ نازل نہیں کیا ہے ان سے پوچھو، پھر وہ کتاب جسے موسیٰؑ لایا تھا، جو تمام انسانوں کے لیے روشنی اور ہدایت تھی، جسے تم پارہ پارہ کر کے رکھتے ہو، کچھ دکھاتے ہو اور بہت کچھ چھپا جاتے ہو، اور جس کے ذریعہ سے تم کو وہ علم دیا گیا جو نہ تمہیں حاصل تھا اور نہ تمہارے باپ دادا کو، آخر اُس کا نازل کرنے والا کون تھا؟ بس اتنا کہہ دو کہ اللہ، پھر اُنہیں اپنی دلیل بازیوں سے کھیلنے کے لیے چھوڑ دو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور یہود نے اللہ کی قدر نہ جانی جیسی چاہیے تھی جب بولے ا لله نے کسی آدمی پر کچھ نہیں اتارا، تم فرماؤ کس نے اُتاری وہ کتاب جو موسیٰ لائے تھے روشنی اور لوگوں کے لیے ہدایت جس کے تم نے الگ الگ کاغذ بنالیے ظاہر کرتے ہو اور بہت سے چھپالیتے ہو اور تمہیں وہ سکھایا جاتا ہے جو نہ تم کو معلوم تھا نہ تمہارے باپ دادا کو، اللہ کہو پھر انہیں چھوڑ دو ان کی بیہودگی میں انہیں کھیلتا - Ahmed Raza

ان لوگوں نے اللہ کی اس طرح قدر نہیں کی جس طرح قدر کرنے کا حق تھا۔ جب انہوں نے یہ کہا کہ اللہ نے کسی بشر پر کوئی چیز نازل نہیں کی ان سے کہیے کہ وہ کتاب کس نے نازل کی تھی جسے موسیٰ لے کر آئے تھے؟ جو لوگوں کے لئے روشنی اور ہدایت (کا ذریعہ) تھی؟ جسے تم نے ورق ورق کر رکھا ہے۔ اس کا کچھ حصہ تو تم ظاہر کرتے ہو (مگر) بہت سا حصہ چھپاتے ہو۔ حالانکہ تمہیں وہ باتیں سکھائی گئیں ہیں جو نہ تمہیں معلوم تھیں اور نہ تمہارے باپ دادا کو کہیے اللہ نے (وہ کتاب نازل کی تھی)۔ پھر ان کو چھوڑ دیجیے کہ وہ اپنی بے ہودہ نکتہ چینی میں کھیلتے رہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And this
كِتَٰبٌ
book,
أَنزَلْنَٰهُ
We revealed it
مُبَارَكٌۭ
as firmly stable,
مُّصَدِّقُ
confirming
ٱلَّذِى
that which is
بَيْنَ
between
يَدَيْهِ
His hands,
وَلِتُنذِرَ
and for you to warn
أُمَّ
those who do not know of
ٱلْقُرَىٰ
the city
وَمَنْ
and whoever is
حَوْلَهَا
in its surroundings;
ۚ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and the ones
يُؤْمِنُونَ
who are convinced
بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
regarding the forth coming
يُؤْمِنُونَ
are convinced
بِهِۦ
about it;
ۖ
وَهُمْ
and they
عَلَىٰ
upon
صَلَاتِهِمْ
their duties
يُحَافِظُونَ
are guardians.
٦
٩٢
وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٌۭ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ And this book, We revealed it as firmly stable, confirming that which is between His hands, and for you to warn those who do not know of the city and whoever is in its surroundings; and the ones who are convinced regarding the forth coming are convinced about it; and they upon their duties are guardians.

And this is a blessed Scripture which We have revealed, confirming that which (was revealed) before it, that thou mayst warn the Mother of Villages and those around her. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe herein, and they are careful of their worship. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Blessed is this Book, which We have sent down, confirming what was [revealed] before it, so that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are watchful of their prayers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور یہ کتاب جو ہم نے نازل کی ہے یہ بابرکت ہے اور اپنے پہلے والی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرنے والی ہے اور یہ اس لئے ہے کہ آپ مکّہ اور اس کے اطراف والوں کو ڈرائیں اور جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں وہ اس پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور اپنی نماز کی پابندی کرتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

(اُسی کتاب کی طرح) یہ ایک کتاب ہے جسے ہم نے نازل کیا ہے بڑی خیر و برکت والی ہے اُس چیز کی تصدیق کرتی ہے جو اس سے پہلے آئی تھی اور اس لیے نازل کی گئی ہے کہ اس کے ذریعہ سے تم بستیوں کے اِس مرکز (یعنی مکہ) اور اس کے اطراف میں رہنے والوں کو متنبہ کرو جو لو گ آخرت کو مانتے ہیں وہ اس کتاب پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور ان کا حال یہ ہے کہ اپنی نمازوں کی پابندی کرتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala
