وَٱلَّذِينَ
And the ones who
كَذَّبُوا۟
continuously lie
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
about Our signs,
يَمَسُّهُمُ
they will feel
ٱلْعَذَابُ
the punishment
بِمَا
due to what
كَانُوا۟
they had been
يَفْسُقُونَ
taking liberties about..
٦
٤٩
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ
And the ones who continuously lie about Our signs, they will feel the punishment due to what they had been taking liberties about..

⦿
But as for those who deny Our revelations, torment will afflict them for that they used to disobey.

Say,
لَّآ

أَقُولُ
I say
لَكُمْ
to you that

خَزَآئِنُ
treasures of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
وَلَآ
and not
أَعْلَمُ
I am knowing of
ٱلْغَيْبَ
the unseen,
وَلَآ
neither
أَقُولُ
I say
لَكُمْ
to you that
إِنِّى
I am
مَلَكٌ
a king;
ۖ
إِنْ
indeed
أَتَّبِعُ
I adhere to
إِلَّا
nothing but
مَا
what is
يُوحَىٰٓ
inspired
إِلَىَّ
towards me].
ۚ
قُلْ
Say,
هَلْ
[Are
يَسْتَوِى
equal
ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
the blind
وَٱلْبَصِيرُ
and the one who can see?
ۚ
أَفَلَا
Then why do not
تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
you think about it?]
٦
٥٠
قُل لَّآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ عِندِى خَزَآئِنُ ٱللَّهِ وَلَآ أَعْلَمُ ٱلْغَيْبَ وَلَآ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ إِنِّى مَلَكٌ ۖ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلَّا مَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ وَٱلْبَصِيرُ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَفَكَّرُونَ
Say, [Not I say to you that near me are treasures of the One and not I am knowing of the unseen, neither I say to you that I am a king; indeed I adhere to nothing but what is inspired towards me]. Say, [Are equal the blind and the one who can see? Then why do not you think about it?]

Say (O Muhammad, to the disbelievers): I say not unto you (that) I possess the treasures of Allah, nor that I have knowledge of the Unseen; and I say not unto you: Lo! I am an angel. I follow only that which is inspired in me. Say: Are the blind man and the seer equal? Will ye not then take thought?

ا ے محمدؐ! ان سے کہو، ——میں تم سے یہ نہیں کہتا کہ میرے پاس اللہ کے خزانے ہیں نہ میں غیب کا علم رکھتا ہوں، اور نہ یہ کہتا ہوں کہ میں فرشتہ ہوں میں تو صرف اُس وحی کی پیروی کرتا ہوں جو مجھ پر نازل کی جاتی ہے—— پھر ان سے پوچھو کیا اندھا اور آنکھوں والا دونوں برابر ہوسکتے ہیں؟ کیا تم غور نہیں کرتے؟

And warn
بِهِ

رَبِّهِمْ
their Rabb;
ۙ
لَيْسَ
not there is
لَهُم
for them
مِّن
from
دُونِهِۦ
beneath Him
وَلِىٌّۭ
a protector
وَلَا
nor
شَفِيعٌۭ
a mediator,
لَّعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
يَتَّقُونَ
be aware.
٦
٥١
وَأَنذِرْ بِهِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَن يُحْشَرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ ۙ لَيْسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِۦ وَلِىٌّۭ وَلَا شَفِيعٌۭ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
And warn through it the ones who are afraid that they will be collected towards their Rabb; not there is for them from beneath Him a protector nor a mediator, so that they may be aware.

Warn hereby those who fear (because they know) that they will be gathered unto their Lord, for whom there is no protecting ally nor intercessor beside Him, that they may ward off (evil).

And warn by its means those who fear being mustered toward their Lord, besides whom they shall have neither any guardian nor any intercessor, so that they may be Godwary.

Preach the Quran to those who are concerned about the Day of Judgment at which time they will be brought before their Lord. Tell them that their only guardian and intercessor is God so that they may become pious.

And warn with it those who fear that they shall be gathered to their Lord-- there is no guardian for them, nor any intercessor besides Him-- that they may guard (against evil).

اے محمدؐ! تم اس (علم وحی) کے ذریعہ سے اُن لوگوں کو نصیحت کرو جو اس بات کا خوف رکھتے ہیں کہ اپنے رب کے سامنے کبھی اس حال میں پیش کیے جائیں گے کہ اُس کے سوا وہاں کوئی (ایسا ذی اقتدار) نہ ہوگا جو ان کا حامی و مدد گار ہو، یا ان کی سفارش کرے، شاید کہ (اس نصیحت سے متنبہ ہو کر) وہ خدا ترسی کی روش اختیار کر لیں

اور اس قرآن سے انہیں ڈراؤ جنہیں خوف ہو کہ اپنے رب کی طرف یوں اٹھائے جائیں کہ اللہ کے سوا نہ ان کا کوئی حمایتی ہو نہ کوئی سفارشی اس امید پر کہ وہ پرہیزگار ہوجائیں

اور آپ اس (وحی شدہ قرآن) کے ذریعہ سے ان لوگوں کو ڈرائیں۔ جنہیں خوف (اندیشہ) ہے کہ وہ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف محشور ہوں گے کہ اس (اللہ) کے سوا ان کا نہ کوئی سرپرست ہوگا اور نہ کوئی سفارشی شاید کہ وہ متقی و پرہیزگار بن جائیں۔

Repel not those who call upon their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His Countenance. Thou art not accountable for them in aught, nor are they accountable for thee in aught, that thou shouldst repel them and be of the wrong-doers.

Do not drive away those who supplicate their Lord morning and evening desiring His face. Neither are you accountable for them in any way, nor are they accountable for you in any way, so that you may drive them away and thus become one of the wrongdoers.

Do not disregard those who pray to their Lord in the mornings and evenings, seeking their Lord's pleasure. You will not be held responsible for them nor will they be held responsible for you. Do not disregard them lest you become unjust.

And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, they desire only His favor; neither are you answerable for any reckoning of theirs, nor are they answerable for any reckoning of yours, so that you should drive them away and thus be of the unjust.

اور خبردار جو لوگ صبح و شام اپنے خدا کو پکارتے ہیں اور خدا ہی کو مقصود بنائے ہوئے ہیں انہیں اپنی بزم سے الگ نہ کیجئے گا. نہ آپ کے ذمہ ان کا حساب ہے اور نہ ان کے ذمہ آپ کا حساب ہے کہ آپ انہیں دھتکار دیں اور اس طرح ظالموں میں شمارہوجائیں

اور جو لوگ اپنے رب کو رات دن پکارتے رہتے ہیں او ر اس کی خوشنودی کی طلب میں لگے ہوئے ہیں انہیں اپنے سے دور نہ پھینکو اُن کے حساب میں سے کسی چیز کا بار تم پر نہیں ہے اور تمہارے حساب میں سے کسی چیز کا بار اُن پر نہیں اس پر بھی اگر تم انہیں دور پھینکو گے تو ظالموں میں شمار ہو گے

اور دور نہ کرو انہیں جو اپنے رب کو پکارتے ہیں صبح اور شام اس کی رضا چاہتے تم پر ان کے حساب سے کچھ نہیں اور ان پر تمہارے حساب سے کچھ نہیں پھر انہیں تم دور کرو تو یہ کام انصاف سے بعید ہے

(اے رسول(ص)) ان لوگوں کو اپنے پاس سے نہ دھتکارو۔ جو اپنے پروردگار کی رضا جوئی کی خاطر صبح و شام اسے پکارتے ہیں۔ ان کا کچھ بھی حساب کتاب آپ کے ذمہ نہیں ہے اور نہ ہی آپ کا کچھ بھی حساب کتاب ان کے ذمہ ہے اور اگر آپ نے پھر بھی انہیں دھتکار دیا تو آپ بے انصافی کرنے والوں میں سے ہو جائیں گے۔

And that is how
فَتَنَّا
We test
بَعْضَهُم
some of them
بِبَعْضٍۢ

لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟
for they say,
أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
[Are these of those who have
مَنَّ
favour of
ٱللَّهُ
the One
عَلَيْهِم
upon them
مِّنۢ
from
بَيْنِنَآ
apart of us?]
ۗ
أَلَيْسَ
Is it not that
ٱللَّهُ
the One is
بِأَعْلَمَ
with knowledge
بِٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
regarding the thankful ones?
٦
٥٣
وَكَذَٰلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍۢ لِّيَقُولُوٓا۟ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنۢ بَيْنِنَآ ۗ أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ
And that is how We test some of them through some else for they say, [Are these of those who have favour of the One upon them from apart of us?] Is it not that the One is with knowledge regarding the thankful ones?

And even so do We try some of them by others, that they say: Are these they whom Allah favoureth among us? Is not Allah best Aware of the thanksgivers?

Thus do We test them by means of one another so that they should say, [Are these the ones whom Allah has favoured from among us?!] Does not Allah know best the grateful?!

We test some of them by the conditions of the others so that the rich and proud ones (seeing your poor and humble followers) would say, [Are these the ones from among all of us whom God has chosen to favor?] Does not God know those who give thanks (much better than others do).

دراصل ہم نے اس طرح ان لوگوں میں سے بعض کو بعض کے ذریعہ سے آزمائش میں ڈالا ہے تاکہ وہ اِنہیں دیکھ کر کہیں ——کیا یہ ہیں وہ لوگ جن پر ہمارے درمیان اللہ کا فضل و کرم ہوا ہے؟—— ہاں! کیا خدا اپنے شکر گزار بندوں کو اِن سے زیادہ نہیں جانتا ہے؟

اور یونہی ہم نے ان میں ایک دوسرے کے لئے فتنہ بنایا کہ مالدار کافر محتاج مسلمانوں کو دیکھ کر کہیں کیا یہ ہیں جن پر اللہ نے احسان کیا ہم میں سے کیا اللہ خوب نہیں جانتا حق ماننے والوں کو،

وَإِذَا
And whenever
جَآءَكَ
come to you,
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
يُؤْمِنُونَ
are sure
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
about Our signs,
فَقُلْ
thus say,
سَلَٰمٌ
[Peace be
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you all.]
ۖ
كَتَبَ
Has prescribed
رَبُّكُمْ
your Rabb
عَلَىٰ
upon
نَفْسِهِ
Himself
ٱلرَّحْمَةَ
the mercy;
ۖ
أَنَّهُۥ
indeed for
مَنْ
who
عَمِلَ
did
مِنكُمْ
from you
سُوٓءًۢا
crimes
بِجَهَٰلَةٍۢ
in ignorance,
ثُمَّ
then
تَابَ
returned
مِنۢ
from
بَعْدِهِۦ
after it,
وَأَصْلَحَ
and took corrective measures,
فَأَنَّهُۥ
thus He is
غَفُورٌۭ
forgiving,
رَّحِيمٌۭ
merciful.
٦
٥٤
وَإِذَا جَآءَكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَقُلْ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ كَتَبَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ ٱلرَّحْمَةَ ۖ أَنَّهُۥ مَنْ عَمِلَ مِنكُمْ سُوٓءًۢا بِجَهَٰلَةٍۢ ثُمَّ تَابَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَصْلَحَ فَأَنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ
And whenever come to you, the ones who are sure about Our signs, thus say, [Peace be upon you all.] Has prescribed your Rabb upon Himself the mercy; indeed for who did from you crimes in ignorance, then returned from after it, and took corrective measures, thus He is forgiving, merciful.

And when those who believe in Our revelations come unto thee, say: Peace be unto you! Your Lord hath prescribed for Himself mercy, that whoso of you doeth evil through ignorance and repenteth afterward thereof and doeth right, (for him) lo! He is Forgiving, Merciful.

جب تمہارے پاس وہ لوگ آئیں جو ہماری آیات پر ایمان لاتے ہیں تو ان سے کہو ——تم پر سلامتی ہے تمہارے رب نے رحم و کرم کا شیوہ اپنے اوپر لازم کر لیا ہے یہ اس کا رحم و کرم ہی ہے کہ اگر تم میں سے کوئی نادانی کے ساتھ کسی برائی کا ارتکاب کر بیٹھا ہو پھر اس کے بعد توبہ کرے اور اصلاح کر لے تو وہ اُسے معاف کر دیتا ہے اور نرمی سے کام لیتا ہے——

And that is how
نُفَصِّلُ
We explain
ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ
the signs,
وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ
and for you to become separate from
سَبِيلُ
way of
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
the criminals.
٦
٥٥
وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ وَلِتَسْتَبِينَ سَبِيلُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
And that is how We explain the signs, and for you to become separate from way of the criminals.

Thus do We expound the revelations that the way of the unrighteous may be manifest.

تَدْعُونَ
call upon
مِن
someone from
دُونِ
beneath
ٱللَّهِ
the One.]
ۚ
قُل
Say,
لَّآ
[Not
أَتَّبِعُ
I adhere to
أَهْوَآءَكُمْ
your whims.
ۙ
قَدْ
So thus if
ضَلَلْتُ
I go to darkness
إِذًۭا
whenever,
وَمَآ
and not
أَنَا۠
I would be
مِنَ
from
ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
the guided ones.]
٦
٥٦
قُلْ إِنِّى نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ ٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قُل لَّآ أَتَّبِعُ أَهْوَآءَكُمْ ۙ قَدْ ضَلَلْتُ إِذًۭا وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِينَ
Say, [I am forbidden that I obey the ones who call upon someone from beneath the One.] Say, [Not I adhere to your whims. So thus if I go to darkness whenever, and not I would be from the guided ones.]

Say: I am forbidden to worship those on whom ye call instead of Allah. Say: I will not follow your desires, for then should I go astray and I should not be of the rightly guided.

Say, [I have been forbidden to worship those whom you invoke besides Allah.] Say, [I do not follow your desires, for then I will have gone astray, and I will not be among the [rightly] guided.]

you quickly establish

about it.

إِنِ
Indeed
ٱلْحُكْمُ
the virdict is
إِلَّا
not but
لِلَّهِ
for the One;
ۖ
يَقُصُّ
being narrated with
ٱلْحَقَّ
the fact;
ۖ
وَهُوَ
and He is
خَيْرُ
best of
ٱلْفَٰصِلِينَ
the explainers.]
٦
٥٧
قُلْ إِنِّى عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّى وَكَذَّبْتُم بِهِۦ ۚ مَا عِندِى مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنِ ٱلْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۖ يَقُصُّ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْفَٰصِلِينَ
Say, [I am upon clarity from my Rabb while you continously lie regarding it; not from me is what you quickly establish about it. Indeed the virdict is not but for the One; being narrated with the fact; and He is best of the explainers.]

Say: I am (relying) on clear proof from my Lord, while ye deny Him. I have not that for which ye are impatient. The decision is for Allah only. He telleth the truth and He is the Best of Deciders.

Say, [Indeed I stand on a manifest proof from my Lord and you have denied it. What you seek to hasten is not up to me. Judgement belongs only to Allah; He expounds the truth and He is the best of judges.]

Whatever (torment that God has threatened you with for your disbelief) and that which you insist on to experience without delay, is not in my hands. The (final) Judgment is in the hands of God. And with Him are the keys of the Invisible. None but He knoweth them. And He knoweth what is in the land and the sea. Not a leaf falleth but He knoweth it, not a grain amid the darkness of the earth, naught of wet or dry but (it is noted) in a clear record.

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
