١٥١

قُلْ تَعَالَوْا۟ أَتْلُ مَا حَرَّمَ رَبُّكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ أَلَّا تُشْرِكُوا۟ بِهِۦ شَيْـًۭٔا ۖ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَٰنًۭا ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَوْلَٰدَكُم مِّنْ إِمْلَٰقٍۢ ۖ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكُمْ وَإِيَّاهُمْ ۖ وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ ٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ ۖ وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا۟ ٱلنَّفْسَ ٱلَّتِى حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

⦿

Say: Come, I will recite unto you that which your Lord hath made a sacred duty for you: That ye ascribe no thing as partner unto Him and that ye do good to parents, and that ye slay not your children because of penury - We provide for you and for them - and that ye draw not nigh to lewd things whether open or concealed. And that ye slay not the life which Allah hath made sacred, save in the course of justice. This He hath command you, in order that ye may discern.

Say, [Come, I will recount what your Lord has forbidden you. That you shall not ascribe any partners to Him, and you shall be good to the parents, you shall not kill your children due to penury—We will provide for you and for them—you shall not approach indecencies, the outward among them and the inward ones, and you shall not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause. This is what He has enjoined upon you so that you may exercise your reason.

(Muhammad), say, [Let me tell you about what your Lord has commanded: Do not consider anything equal to God; Be kind to your parents; Do not murder your children out of fear of poverty, for We give sustenance to you and to them. Do not even approach indecency either in public or in private. Take not a life which God has made sacred except by way of justice and law. Thus does He command you that you may learn wisdom.

Say: Come I will recite what your Lord has forbidden to you-- (remember) that you do not associate anything with Him and show kindness to your parents, and do not slay your children for (fear of) poverty-- We provide for you and for them-- and do not draw nigh to indecencies, those of them which are apparent and those which are concealed, and do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden except for the requirements of justice; this He has enjoined you with that you may understand.

Say, [Come! I will tell you what your Lord has really forbidden you! Do not associate anything with Him; be good to your parents; and do not kill your children for fear of poverty, We shall provide sustenance for you as well as for them, refrain from committing indecent deeds, whether openly or in secret; and do not kill the life which God has made sacred, save by right. That is what He has enjoined upon you, so that you may understand.

کہہ دیجئے کہ آؤ ہم تمہیں بتائیں کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے کیا کیا حرام کیا ہے .... خبردار کسی کو اس کا شریک نہ بنانا اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا برتاؤ کرنا .اپنی اولاد کو غربت کی بنا پر قتل نہ کرنا کہ ہم تمہیں بھی رزق دے رہے ہیں اور انہیں بھی ... اور بدکاریوں کے قریب نہ جانا وہ ظاہری ہوں یا چھپی ہوئی اور کسی ایسے نفس کو جسے خدا نے حرام کردیا ہے قتل نہ کرنا مگر یہ کہ تمہارا کوئی حق ہو .یہ وہ باتیں ہیں جن کی خدا نے نصیحت کی ہے تاکہ تمہیں عقل آجائے

اے محمدؐ! ان سے کہو کہ آؤ میں تمہیں سناؤں تمہارے رب نے تم پر کیا پابندیاں عائد کی ہیں: یہ کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کرو، اور والدین کے ساتھ نیک سلوک کرو، اور اپنی اولاد کو مفلسی کے ڈر سے قتل نہ کرو، ہم تمہیں بھی رزق دیتے ہیں اور ا ن کو بھی دیں گے اور بے شرمی کی باتوں کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ خواہ وہ کھلی ہوں یا چھپی اور کسی جان کو جسے اللہ نے محترم ٹھیرایا ہے ہلاک نہ کرو مگر حق کے ساتھ یہ باتیں ہیں جن کی ہدایت اس نے تمہیں کی ہے، شاید کہ تم سمجھ بوجھ سے کام لو

تم فرماؤ آؤ میں تمہیں پڑھ کر سناؤں جو تم پر تمہارے رب نے حرام کیا یہ کہ اس کا کوئی شریک نہ کرو اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ بھلائی کرو اور اپنی اولاد قتل نہ کرو مفلسی کے باعث، ہم تمہیں اور انہیں سب کو رزق دیں گے اور بے حیائیوں کے پاس نہ جاؤ جو ان میں کھلی ہیں اور جو چھپی اور جس جان کی اللہ نے حرمت رکھی اسے ناحق نہ مارو یہ تمہیں حکم فرمایا ہے کہ تمہیں عقل ہو

(اے رسول) ان سے کہو۔ آؤ میں تمہیں سناؤں وہ چیزیں جو تمہارے پروردگار نے تم پر حرام کی ہیں: () یہ کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراؤ۔ () اور والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرو۔ () اور اپنی اولاد کو فقر و فاقہ کے ڈر سے قتل نہ کرو۔ ہم تمہیں بھی روزی دیتے ہیں اور انہیں بھی (دیں گے)۔ () اور بے شرمی و بے حیائی کے کاموں (جیسے جنسی غلط کاری) کے قریب بھی نہ جاؤ۔ خواہ وہ علانیہ ہوں اور خواہ پوشیدہ۔ () اور نہ قتل کرو کسی ایسی جان کو جس کے قتل کو خدا نے حرام قرار دیا ہے مگر (شرعی) حق (جیسے قصاص وغیرہ) کے ساتھ۔ یہ وہ ہے جس کی اللہ نے تمہیں وصیت کی ہے۔ تاکہ تم عقل سے کام لو۔

١٥٢

وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا۟ مَالَ ٱلْيَتِيمِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّىٰ يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ ۖ وَأَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ لَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۖ وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَٱعْدِلُوا۟ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۖ وَبِعَهْدِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْفُوا۟ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

⦿

And approach not the wealth of the orphan save with that which is better, till he reach maturity. Give full measure and full weight, in justice. We task not any soul beyond its scope. And if ye give your word, do justice thereunto, even though it be (against) a kinsman; and fulfil the covenant of Allah. This He commandeth you that haply ye may remember.

⦿

Do not approach the orphan]s property, except in the best [possible] manner, until he comes of age. And observe fully the measure and the balance with justice.] We task no soul except according to its capacity. [And when you speak, be fair, even if it were a relative; and fulfill Allah]s covenant. This is what He enjoins upon you so that you may take admonition.]

⦿

Do not handle the property of the orphans except with a good reason until they become mature and strong. Maintain equality in your dealings by the means of measurement and balance. No soul is responsible for what is beyond it's ability. Be just in your words, even if the party involved is one of your relatives and keep your promise with God. Thus does your Lord guide you so that you may take heed.

And do not approach the property of the orphan except in the best manner until he attains his maturity, and give full measure and weight with justice-- We do not impose on any soul a duty except to the extent of its ability; and when you speak, then be just though it be (against) a relative, and fulfill Allah's covenant; this He has enjoined you with that you may be mindful;

Stay well away from an orphan's property, except with the best intentions, before he comes of age. Give full measure and weight, according to justice, We never charge a soul with more than it can bear, when you speak, observe justice, even though it concerns a close relative; and fulfil the covenants of God. That is what He has enjoined upon you so that you may take heed.

اور خبردار مال هیتیم کے قریب بھی نہ جانا مگر اس طریقہ سے جو بہترین طریقہ ہو یہاں تک کہ وہ توانائی کی عمر تک پہنچ جائیں اور ناپ تول میں انصاف سے پورا پورا دینا -ہم کسی نفس کو اس کی وسعت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے ہیں اور جب بات کرو تو انصاف کے ساتھ چاہے اپنی اقرباہی کے خلاف کیوں نہ ہو اور عہد خدا کو پورا کرو کہ اس کی پروردگار نے تمہیں وصیت کی ہے کہ شاید تم عبرت حاصل کرسکو

اور یہ کہ یتیم کے مال کے قریب نہ جاؤ مگر ایسے طریقہ سے جو بہترین ہو، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے سن رشد کو پہنچ جائے اور ناپ تول میں پورا انصاف کرو، ہم ہر شخص پر ذمہ داری کا اتنا ہی بار رکھتے ہیں جتنا اس کے امکان میں ہے، اور جب بات کہو انصاف کی کہو خواہ معاملہ اپنے رشتہ دار ہی کا کیوں نہ ہو، اور اللہ کے عہد کو پورا کرو ان باتوں کی ہدایت اللہ نے تمہیں کی ہے شاید کہ تم نصیحت قبول کرو

⦿

اور یتیموں کے مال کے پاس نہ جاؤ مگر بہت اچھے طریقہ سے جب تک وہ اپنی جوانی کو پہنچے اور ناپ اور تول انصاف کے ساتھ پوری کرو، ہم کسی جان پر بوجھ نہیں ڈالتے مگر اس کے مقدور بھر، اور جب بات کہو تو انصاف کی کہو اگرچہ تمہارے رشتہ دار کا معاملہ ہو اور اللہ ہی کا عہد پورا کرو، یہ تمہیں تاکید فرمائی کہ کہیں تم نصیحت مانو،

() اور یتیم کے مال کے قریب نہ جاؤ مگر ایسے طریقہ سے جو بہترین ہو یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے سنِ رشد و کمال تک پہنچ جائے۔ () اور ناپ تول انصاف کے ساتھ پوری کرو۔ ہم کسی شخص کو اس کی وسعت سے زیادہ تکلیف نہیں دیتے۔ () اور جب کوئی بات کہو تو عدل و انصاف کے ساتھ۔ اگرچہ وہ (شخص) تمہارا قرابتدار ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔ () اور اللہ کے عہد و پیمان کو پورا کرو۔ یہ وہ ہے جس کی اس (اللہ) نے تمہیں وصیت کی ہے شاید کہ تم عبرت حاصل کرو۔

١٥٣

وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِى مُسْتَقِيمًۭا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ ۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

⦿

And (He commandeth you, saying): This is My straight path, so follow it. Follow not other ways, lest ye be parted from His way. This hath He ordained for you, that ye may ward off (evil).

[This indeed is my straight path, so follow it, and do not follow [other] ways, for they will separate you from His way. This is what He enjoins upon you so that you may be Godwary.]

⦿

This is My path and it is straight. Follow it and not other paths which will lead you far away from the path of God. Thus does God guide you so that you may become pious.

And (know) that this is My path, the right one therefore follow it, and follow not (other) ways, for they will lead you away from His way; this He has enjoined you with that you may guard (against evil).

[He has enjoined], [This is My straight path; so follow it, and do not follow other ways: that will lead you away from His path.] That is what He enjoins upon you, so that you may guard yourselves.

اور یہ ہمارا سیدھا راستہ ہے اس کا اتباع کرو اور دوسرے راستوں کے پیچھے نہ جاؤ کہ راہ هخدا سے الگ ہوجاؤ گے اسی کی پروردگار نے ہدایت دی ہے کہ اس طرح شاید متقی اور پرہیز گار بن جاؤ

نیز اس کی ہدایت یہ ہے کہ یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے لہٰذا تم اسی پر چلو اور دوسرے راستوں پر نہ چلو کہ وہ اس کے راستے سے ہٹا کر تمہیں پراگندہ کر دیں گے یہ ہے وہ ہدایت جو تمہارے رب نے تمہیں کی ہے، شاید کہ تم کج روی سے بچو

اور یہ کہ یہ ہے میرا سیدھا راستہ تو اس پر چلو اور اور راہیں نہ چلو کہ تمہیں اس کی راہ سے جدا کردیں گی، یہ تمہیں حکم فرمایا کہ کہیں تمہیں پرہیزگاری ملے،

() اور (یہ بھی کہو) یہ ہے میرا سیدھا راستہ اسی کی پیروی کرو۔ اور دوسرے راستوں کی پیروی نہ کرو ورنہ وہ تمہیں اس (اللہ) کے راستہ سے جدا کر دیں گے یہ ہے جس کی اللہ نے تمہیں وصیت کی ہے شاید کہ تم پرہیزگار بن جاؤ۔

ثُمَّ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَى ٱلْكِتَٰبَ تَمَامًا عَلَى ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْسَنَ وَتَفْصِيلًۭا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةًۭ لَّعَلَّهُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ

Again, We gave the Scripture unto Moses, complete for him who would do good, an explanation of all things, a guidance and a mercy, that they might believe in the meeting with their Lord.

Then We gave Moses the Book, completing [Our blessing] on him who is virtuous, and as an elaboration of all things, and as a guidance and mercy, so that they may believe in the encounter with their Lord.

We gave Moses the Book to complete (Our favor) for the righteous ones, the Book that contained a detailed explanation of all things, a guide and a mercy so that perhaps they would have faith in the Day of Judgment.

Again, We gave the Book to Musa to complete (Our blessings) on him who would do good (to others), and making plain all things and a guidance and a mercy, so that they should believe in the meeting of their Lord.

اس کے بعد ہم نے موسٰی علیھ السّلام کو اچھی باتوں کی تکمیل کرنے والی کتاب دی اور اس میں ہر شے کو تفصیل سے بیان کردیا اور اسے ہدایت اور رحمت قرار دے دیا کہ شاید یہ لوگ لقائے الٰہی پر ایمان لے آئیں

پھر ہم نے موسیٰؑ کو کتاب عطا کی تھی جو بھلائی کی روش اختیار کرنے والے انسان پر نعمت کی تکمیل اور ہر ضروری چیز کی تفصیل اور سراسر ہدایت اور رحمت تھی (اور اس لیے بنی اسرائیل کو دی گئی تھی کہ) شاید لوگ اپنے رب کی ملاقات پر ایمان لائیں

پھر ہم نے موسیٰ کو کتاب عطا فرمائی پورا احسان کرنے کو اس پر جو نیکوکار ہے اور ہر چیز کی تفصیل اور ہدایت اور رحمت کہ کہیں وہ اپنے رب سے ملنے پر ایمان لائیں

پھر ہم نے موسیٰ کو وہ کتاب عطا کی جو نیک عمل کرنے والے پر نعمت کی تکمیل ہے۔ اور اس میں ہر چیز کی تفصیل ہے اور (لوگوں کے لیے) سراسر ہدایت و رحمت ہے تاکہ وہ اپنے پروردگار کی بارگاہ میں حاضری و حضوری پر ایمان لائیں۔

وَهَٰذَا

فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ

وَٱتَّقُوا۟

وَهَٰذَا كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ مُبَارَكٌۭ فَٱتَّبِعُوهُ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ

And this is a blessed Scripture which We have revealed. So follow it and ward off (evil), that ye may find mercy.

Lest ye should say: The Scripture was revealed only to two sects before us, and we in sooth were unaware of what they read;

أَوْ تَقُولُوا۟ لَوْ أَنَّآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا ٱلْكِتَٰبُ لَكُنَّآ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمْ ۚ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بَيِّنَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَهُدًۭى وَرَحْمَةٌۭ ۚ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَّبَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَصَدَفَ عَنْهَا ۗ سَنَجْزِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَصْدِفُونَ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَصْدِفُونَ

Or lest ye should say: If the Scripture had been revealed unto us, we surely had been better guided than are they. Now hath there come unto you a clear proof from your Lord, a guidance and mercy; and who doeth greater wrong than he who denieth the revelations of Allah, and turneth away from them? We award unto those who turn away from Our revelations an evil doom because of their aversion.

or [lest] you should say, [If the Book had been sent down to us, surely we would have been better-guided than them.] There has already come to you a manifest proof from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. So who is a greater wrongdoer than him who denies the signs of Allah, and turns away from them? Soon We shall requite those who turn away from Our signs with a terrible punishment because of what they used to evade.

or proclaim, [Had the Book been revealed to us, we would have followed its guidance better than the (Jews and Christians). Evidence, guidance, and mercy have already come to you from your Lord. Who are more unjust than those who reject God's revelations and turn away from them? We will give an evil recompense to those who turn away from Our revelations and a terrible torment for their disregard (of Our guidance)

Or lest you should say: If the Book had been revealed to us, we would certainly have been better guided than they, so indeed there has come to you clear proof from your Lord, and guidance and mercy. Who then is more unjust than he who rejects Allah's communications and turns away from them? We will reward those who turn away from Our communications with an evil chastisement because they turned away.

یا یہ کہو کہ ہمارے اوپر بھی کتاب نازل ہوتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ ہدایت یافتہ ہوتے تو اب تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے واضح دلیل اور ہدایت و رحمت آچکی ہے پھر اس کے بعد اس سے بڑا ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ کی نشانیوں کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے اعراض کرے ...عنقریب ہم اپنی نشانیوں سے اعراض کرنے والوں پر بدترین عذاب کریں گے اور وہ ہماری آیتوں سے اعراض کرنے والے اور روکنے والے ہیں

اور اب تم یہ بہانہ بھی نہیں کرسکتے کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی گئی ہوتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ راست رو ثابت ہوتے تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے ایک دلیل روشن اور ہدایت اور رحمت آ گئی ہے، اب اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو اللہ کی آیات کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ موڑے جو لوگ ہماری آیات سے منہ موڑتے ہیں انہیں اس رو گردانی کی پاداش میں ہم بدترین سزا دے کر رہیں گے

یا کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب اُترتی تو ہم ان سے زیادہ ٹھیک راہ پر ہوتے تو تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی روشن دلیل اور ہدایت او ر رحمت آئی تو اس سے زیادہ ظالم کون جو اللہ کی آیتوں کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے منہ پھیرے عنقریب وہ جو ہماری آیتوں سے منہ پھیرتے ہیں ہم انہیں بڑے عذاب کی سزا دیں گے بدلہ ان کے منہ پھیرنے کا،

یا یہ (نہ) کہو کہ اگر ہم پر کتاب نازل کی گئی ہوتی تو ہم ان لوگوں سے زیادہ راہِ راست پر ہوتے۔ تو اب (تمہارے تمام عذر بہانے قطع کرنے کے لیے) تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے کھلی ہوئی دلیل اور ہدایت و رحمت (قرآن کی صورت میں) آگئی ہے سو اب اس سے بڑھ کر ظالم کون ہوگا جو آیاتِ الٰہی کو جھٹلائے اور ان سے روگردانی کرے۔ ہم عنقریب ان لوگوں کو جو ہماری آیات سے روگردانی کرتے ہیں۔ بڑے عذاب کی سزا دیں گے۔

هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ رَبُّكَ أَوْ يَأْتِىَ بَعْضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَ ۗ يَوْمَ يَأْتِى بَعْضُ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكَ لَا يَنفَعُ نَفْسًا إِيمَٰنُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ ءَامَنَتْ مِن قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِىٓ إِيمَٰنِهَا خَيْرًۭا ۗ قُلِ ٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنَّا مُنتَظِرُونَ

⦿

Wait they, indeed, for nothing less than that the angels should come unto them, or thy Lord should come, or there should come one of the portents from thy Lord? In the day when one of the portents from thy Lord cometh, its belief availeth naught a soul which theretofore believed not, nor in its belief earned good (by works). Say: Wait ye! Lo! We (too) are waiting.

Do they not consider that the angels may come to them, or your Lord may come, or some of your Lord]s signs may come? The day when some of your Lord]s signs do come, faith shall not benefit any soul that had not believed beforehand and had not earned some goodness in its faith. Say, [Wait! We too are waiting!]

Are they waiting until the angels or your Lord come to them or for some miracles to take place? On the day when some miracles of God will take place, the belief of any soul will be of no avail to it unless some good deeds have been done with it, or it has been formed before the coming of such a day. (Muhammad), tell them, [Wait and we, too, are waiting.]

They do not wait aught but that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord should come, or that some of the signs of your Lord should come. On the day when some of the signs of your Lord shall come, its faith shall not profit a soul which did not believe before, or earn good through its faith. Say: Wait; we too are waiting.

Are they waiting for the angels or your Lord to come down to them, or for some of your Lord's signs to come? The day when some of the signs of your Lord shall come, it shall not profit any human being who did not believe before, or who did not do any good by his faith. Say to them, [Wait then, we too are waiting.]

یہ صرف اس بات کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان کے پاس ملائکہ آجائیں یا خود پروردگار آجائے یا اس کی بعض نشانیاں آجائیں تو جس دن اس کی بعض نشانیاں آجائیں گی اس دن جو نفس پہلے سے ایمان نہیں لایا ہے یا اس نے ایمان لانے کے بعد کوئی بھلائی نہیں کی ہے اس کے ایمان کا کوئی فائدہ نہ ہوگا تو اب کہہ دیجئے کہ تم لوگ بھی انتظار کرو اور میں بھی انتظار کررہا ہوں

کیا اب لوگ اس کے منتظر ہیں کہ ان کے سامنے فرشتے آ کھڑے ہوں، یا تمہارا رب خود آ جائے، یا تمہارے رب کی بعض صریح نشانیاں نمودار ہو جائیں؟ جس روز تمہارے رب کی بعض مخصوص نشانیاں نمودار ہو جائیں گی پھر کسی ایسے شخص کو اس کا ایمان کچھ فائدہ نہ دے گا جو پہلے ایمان نہ لایا ہو یا جس نے اپنے ایمان میں کوئی بھلائی نہ کمائی ہو اے محمدؐ! ان سے کہہ دو کہ اچھا، تم انتظار کرو، ہم بھی انتظار کرتے ہیں

کاہے کے انتظار میں ہیں مگر یہ کہ آئیں ان کے پاس فرشتے یا تمہارے رب کا عذاب یا تمہارے رب کی ایک نشانی آئے جس دن تمہارے رب کی وہ ایک نشانی آئے گی کسی جان کو ایمان لانا کام نہ دے گا جو پہلے ایمان نہ لائی تھی یا اپنے ایمان میں کوئی بھلائی نہ کمائی تھی تم فرماؤ رستہ دیکھو ہم بھی دیکھتے ہیں،

کیا یہ لوگ اب صرف اس بات کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ ان کے پاس فرشتے آئیں؟ یا تمہارا پروردگار بذات خود آجائے یا تمہارے پروردگار کی بعض خاص نشانیاں آجائیں۔ یہ تب (ایمان لائیں گے)۔ تو پھر (یاد رکھو) جس دن تمہارے پروردگار کی بعض مخصوص نشانیاں آجائیں گی تو اس دن ایسے شخص کو ایمان لانا کوئی فائدہ نہیں دے گا جو پہلے ایمان نہیں لایا ہوگا اور اپنے ایمان میں کوئی بھلائی نہ کمائی ہوگی۔ ان سے کہو کہ تم بھی انتظار کرو۔ ہم بھی انتظار کرتے ہیں۔

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.

Due Credits:

This website was possible by help of many people and forums who helped me to learn Arabic, Philosophy, Law, Psychology, and PHP and other Web scripts. To be honest, I do not even know the names of many but I did learn from them. Some of these people were already dead by the time I read their input.

The entire code of this website is available for the same reason, that what they taught me, I can only pay it forward.

The Arabic text of the Quran was obtained from Tanzil. The additional translations were also obtained from Tanzil from this link.

The social-sharing images of verses were obtained from Legacy Quran.com, and were then resized for proper social-media display.
