He knoweth all that entereth the earth and all that emergeth therefrom and all that cometh down from the sky and all that ascendeth therein; and He is with you wheresoever ye may be. What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. Why should you not spend in the way of Allah, when to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those of you who spent [their means] and fought before the victory are not equal [to others]. They are greater in rank than those who have spent and fought afterwards. Why do you not spend for the cause of God when to Him belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth? Those who spend for the cause of God and fight before victory will have higher positions than those who spend for the cause of God and fight after victory. However, to both parties God has promised good rewards. God is Well Aware of what you do. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And what reason have you that you should not spend in Allah's way? آخر کیا وجہ ہے کہ تم اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ نہیں کرتے حالانکہ زمین اور آسمانوں کی میراث اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے تم میں سے جو لوگ فتح کے بعد خرچ اور جہاد کریں گے وہ کبھی اُن لوگوں کے برابر نہیں ہو سکتے جنہوں نے فتح سے پہلے خرچ اور جہاد کیا ہے اُن کا درجہ بعد میں خرچ اور جہاد کرنے والوں سے بڑھ کر ہے اگرچہ اللہ نے دونوں ہی سے اچھے وعدے فرمائے ہیں جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ اس سے با خبر ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور تمہیں کیا ہے کہ اللہ کی راہ میں خرچ نہ کرو حالانکہ آسمانوں اور زمین میں سب کا وارث اللہ ہی ہے تم میں برابر نہیں وہ جنہوں نے فتحِ مکہ سے قبل خرچ اور جہاد کیا وہ مرتبہ میں ان سے بڑے ہیں جنہوں نے بعد فتح کے خرچ اور جہاد کیا، اور ان سب سے اللہ جنت کا وعدہ فرماچکا اور اللہ کو تمہارے کاموں کی خبر ہے، - Ahmed Raza

يَوْمَ تَرَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ يَسْعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَٰنِهِم بُشْرَىٰكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

On the day when thou (Muhammad) wilt see the believers, men and women, their light shining forth before them and on their right hands, (and wilt hear it said unto them): Glad news for you this day: Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein ye are immortal. That is the supreme triumph. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The day you will see the faithful, men and women, with their light moving swiftly in front of them and on their right, [and they are greeted with the words:] [There is good news for you today! Gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever]. That is the great success.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The day the hypocrites, men and women, will say to the faithful, [Please wait, that we may glean something from your light!] They will be told: [Go back and grope for light!] Then there will be set up between them a wall with a gate, with mercy within and punishment without. - Qarai, Ali Quli

On that day the hypocrites will say to the believers, [Please look at us so that we might benefit from your light.] They will be told, [Go back and search for your own light.] A barrier with a door will be placed between them. Inside it there will be mercy but outside of it there will be torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say to those who believe: Wait for us, that we may have light from your light; it shall be said: Turn back and seek a light. اس دن منافق مرد اور منافق عورتیں صاحبان هایمان سے کہیں گے کہ ذرا ہماری طرف بھی نظر مرحمت کرو کہ ہم تمہارے نور سے استفادہ کریں تو ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ اپنے پیچھے کی طرف پلٹ جاؤ اور اپنے شیاطین سے نور کی التماس کرو اس کے بعد ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار حائل کردی جائے گی جس کے اندر کی طرف رحمت ہوگی اور باہر کی طرف عذاب ہوگا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اُس روز منافق مردوں اور عورتوں کا حال یہ ہوگا کہ وہ مومنوں سے کہیں گے ذرا ہماری طرف دیکھو تاکہ ہم تمہارے نور سے کچھ فائدہ اٹھائیں، مگر ان سے کہا جائے گا پیچھے ہٹ جاؤ، اپنا نور کہیں اور تلاش کرو پھر ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار حائل کر دی جائے گی جس میں ایک دروازہ ہوگا اُس دروازے کے اندر رحمت ہوگی اور باہر عذاب - Maududi, Abul A'ala

جس دن منافق مرد اور منافق عورتیں مسلمانوں سے کہیں گے کہ ہمیں یک نگاہ دیکھو کہ ہم تمہارے نور سے کچھ حصہ لیں، کہا جائے گا اپنے پیچھے لوٹو (ُ) وہاں نور ڈھونڈو وہ لوٹیں گے، جبھی ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار کھڑی کردی جائے گی جس میں ایک دروازہ ہے اس کے اندر کی طرف رحمت اور اس کے باہر کی طرف عذاب، - Ahmed Raza

جس دن منافق مَرد اور منافق عورتیں ایمان والوں سے کہیں گے کہ ذرا ہمارا انتظار کروکہ ہم بھی تمہارے نور سے کچھ روشنی حاصل کر لیں (ان سے کہا جائے گا کہ) تم پیچھے کی (دنیا میں) لوٹ جاؤ پھر وہیں روشنی تلاش کرو پس ان کے اور اہلِ ایمان کے درمیان ایک دیوار کھڑی کر دی جائے گی جس کا ایک دروزاہ ہوگا اس کے اندر کی طرف رحمت ہوگی اور اس کے باہر کے طرف عذاب ہوگا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

يُنَادُونَهُمْ أَلَمْ نَكُن مَّعَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنتُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَٱرْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْأَمَانِىُّ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ وَغَرَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

They will cry unto them (saying): Were we not with you? They will say: Yea, verily; but ye tempted one another, and hesitated, and doubted, and vain desires beguiled you till the ordinance of Allah came to pass; and the deceiver deceived you concerning Allah; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They will call out to them, [Did we not use to be with you?] They will say, [Yes! But you cast yourselves into perdition. You awaited and were skeptical, and [false] hopes deceived you until the edict of Allah came, and the Deceiver deceived you concerning Allah. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Those outside) will call out, [Were we not with you?] (Those inside) will reply, [Yes, you were with us but you spent your life in disbelief and hypocrisy, wished death to (Muhammad), had doubts about his message and let your longings deceive you until the decree of God came to pass. They will cry out to them: Were we not with you? They shall say: Yea! but you caused yourselves to fall into temptation, and you waited and doubted, and vain desires deceived you till the threatened punishment of Allah came, while the archdeceiver deceived you about Allah. - Shakir, Habib

The hypocrites will call out to the faithful: [Were we not on your side?] They will reply, [Yes, but you gave in to temptation, you wavered and doubted and were deceived by your wishful thinking until God's will was done; then the Deceiver [Satan] misled you about God.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور منافقین ایمان والوں سے پکار کر کہیں گے کہ کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہیں تھے تو وہ کہیں گے بیشک مگر تم نے اپنے کو بلاؤں میں مبتلا کردیا اور ہمارے لئے مصائب کے منتظر رہے اور تم نے رسالت میں شک کیا اور تمہیں تمناؤں نے دھوکہ میں ڈالے رکھا یہاں تک کہ حکم خدا آگیا اور تمہیں دھوکہ باز شیطان نے دھوکہ دیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

وہ مومنوں سے پکار پکار کر کہیں گے کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے؟ مومن جواب دیں گے ہاں، مگر تم نے اپنے آپ کو خود فتنے میں ڈالا، موقع پرستی کی، شک میں پڑے رہے، اور جھوٹی توقعات تمہیں فریب دیتی رہیں، یہاں تک کہ اللہ کا فیصلہ آ گیا، اور آخر وقت تک وہ بڑا دھوکے باز تمہیں اللہ کے معاملہ میں دھوکا دیتا رہا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

منافق مسلمانوں کو پکاریں گے کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے وہ کہیں گے کیوں نہیں مگر تم نے تو اپنی جانیں فتنہ میں ڈالیں اور مسلمانوں کی برائی تکتے اور شک رکھتے اور جھوٹی طمع نے تمھیں فریب دیا یہاں تک کہ اللہ کا حکم آگیا اور تمہیں اللہ کے حکم پر اس بڑے فریبی نے مغرور رکھا - Ahmed Raza

وہ (منافق) اہلِ ایمان کو پکا ریں گے کہ کیا ہم تمہارے ساتھ نہ تھے؟ وہ کہیں گے ہاں تھے مگر تم نے اپنے آپ کو فتنہ (گمراہی) میں ڈالا اور (ہمارے بارے میں گردشوں کا) انتظار کیا (کہ نتیجہ کیا برآمد ہوتا ہے) اور شک و شبہ میں مبتلا رہے اور جھوٹی امیدوں نے تمہیں دھوکہ دیا یہاں تک کہ اللہ کا فیصلہ آگیا اور دھوکہ باز (شیطان) نے تمہیں اللہ کے بارے میں دھوکہ میں رکھا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
