And of all things We created companions, that perhaps you remember.

And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

having clarity.]
[Thus haste towards the One; I am for you from Him a notification having clarity.]

Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

[So flee toward Allah. Indeed, I am from Him a manifest warner to you. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), tell them,]Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. - Sarwar, Muhammad

I am

مِّنْهُ
from Him
نَذِيرٌۭ
a notification
مُّبِينٌۭ
having clarity.]
[And do not make with the One, an unchallenged master someone else; I am for you from Him a notification having clarity.]

And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Just like that
مَآ
what
أَتَى
came to
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who were

قَبْلِهِم
before them

رَّسُولٍ
a messenger
إِلَّا
except
قَالُوا۟
they said,
سَاحِرٌ
[An illusionist,
أَوْ
or
مَجْنُونٌ
a mad person.]

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ Just like that what came to the ones who were from before them from a messenger except they said, [An illusionist, or a mad person.]

Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So it was that there did not come any apostle to those who were before them but they said, [A magician,] or [A crazy man!] - Qarai, Ali Quli

In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. - Shakir, Habib

Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? - Sarwar, Muhammad

And remind, thus it is that the reminder benefits the ones of conviction.

And warn, for warning profiteth believers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And admonish, for admonition indeed benefits the faithful. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. - Sarwar, Muhammad
