They ask thee (O Muhammad) what is made lawful for them. Say: (all) good things are made lawful for you. And those beasts and birds of prey which ye have trained as hounds are trained, ye teach them that which Allah taught you; so eat of that which they catch for you and mention Allah's name upon it, and observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is swift to take account. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They ask you as to what is lawful to them. Say, [All the good things are lawful to you.] As for what you have taught hunting dogs [to catch], teaching them out of what Allah has taught you, eat of what they catch for you and mention Allah]s Name over it, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is swift at reckoning. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), they ask you what has been made lawful for them (as food). Tell them, [All pure things are made lawful for you.] If you train dogs or other beasts for hunting, you should train them according to what God has taught you. It, then, is lawful for you to eat the animals that they hunt, provided you mention the Name of God over the prey. Have fear of God. Certainly God's reckoning is swift. - Sarwar, Muhammad

They ask you as to what is allowed to them. Say: The good things are allowed to you, and what you have taught the beasts and birds of prey, training them to hunt-- you teach them of what Allah has taught you-- so eat of that which they catch for you and mention the name of Allah over it; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is swift in reckoning. - Shakir, Habib

پیغمبر یہ تم سے سوال کرتے ہیں کہ ان کے لئے کیا حلال کیا گیا ہے تو کہہ دیجئے کہ تمہارے لئے تمام پاکیزہ چیزیں حلال ہیں اور جو کچھ تم نے شکاری کتوں کو سکھا رکھا ہے اور خدائی تعلیم میں سے کچھ ان کے حوالہ کر دیاہے تو جو کچھ وہ پکڑ کے لائیں اسے کھالو اور اس پر نام خدا ضرور لو اور اللہ سے ڈرو کہ وہ بہت جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

لوگ پوچھتے ہیں کہ ان کے لیے کیا حلال کیا گیا ہے، کہو تمہارے لیے ساری پاک چیزیں حلال کر دی گئی ہیں اور جن شکاری جانوروں کو تم نے سدھایا ہو جن کو خدا کے دیے ہوئے علم کی بنا پر تم شکار کی تعلیم دیا کرتے ہو وہ جس جانور کو تمہارے لیے پکڑ رکھیں اس کو بھی تم کھاسکتے ہو، البتہ اس پر اللہ کا نام لے لو اور اللہ کا قانون توڑنے سے ڈرو، اللہ کو حساب لیتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگتی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے محبوب! تم سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ اُن کے لئے کیا حلال ہوا تم فرمادو کہ حلال کی گئیں تمہارے لئے پاک چیزیں اور جو شکاری جانور تم نے سدھالیے انہیں شکار پر دوڑاتے جو علم تمہیں خدا نے دیا اس سے انہیں سکھاتے تو کھاؤ اس میں سے جو وہ مار کر تمہارے لیے رہنے دیں اور اس پر اللہ کا نام لو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو بیشک اللہ کو حساب کرتے دیر نہیں لگتی، - Ahmed Raza

لوگ آپ سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ ان کے لئے کون سی چیزیں حلال کی گئی ہیں؟ کہہ دیجیئے کہ تمہارے لئے سب پاک و پاکیزہ چیزیں حلال کر دی گئیں اور جن شکاری جانوروں کو تم نے سدھایا ہو جن کو خدا کے سکھائے ہوئے طریقہ کے مطابق (شکار پکڑنے کا) طریقہ سکھایا ہو تو جسے وہ تمہارے لئے پکڑ رکھیں۔ اس میں سے بھی کھا سکتے ہو۔ اور اس پر (شکار پر چھوڑتے وقت) خدا کا نام لے لو۔ اور اللہ سے (اس کی معصیت کاری سے) ڈرو۔ بے شک اللہ بہت جلد حساب لینے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Today all the good things have been made lawful to you—the food of those who were given the Book is lawful to you, and your food is lawful to them—and the chaste ones from among faithful women, and chaste women of those who were given the Book before you, when you have given them their dowries, in wedlock, not in license, nor taking paramours. Should anyone renounce his faith, his work shall fail and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter. - Qarai, Ali Quli

On this day, all pure things are made lawful for you (as food). The food of the People of the Book is made lawful for you and your food is made lawful for them. It is lawful for you to marry chaste Muslim women and chaste women of the People of the Book, provided, you pay their dowry, maintain chastity, and avoid fornication or lustful relations outside of marriage. The deeds of anyone who rejects the faith, certainly, become fruitless. He will be of those who lose on the Day of Judgment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

آج تمہارے لئے تمام پاکیزہ چیزیں حلال کردی گئی ہیں اور اہلِ کتاب کا طعام بھی تمہارے لئے حلال ہے اور تمہارا طعام ان کے لئے حلال ہے اور اہلِ ایمان کی آزاد اور پاک دامن عورتیں یا ان کی آزاد عورتیں جن کو تم سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی ہے تمہارے لئے حلال ہے بشرطیکہ تم ان کی اجرت دے دو پاکیزگی کے ساتھ -نہ کھّلم کھلاّ زنا کی اجرت کے طور پر اور نہ پوشیدہ طور پر دوستی کے انداز سے اور جو بھی ایمان سے انکار کرے گا اس کے اعمال یقینا برباد ہوجائیں گے اور وہ آخرت میں گھاٹا اُٹھانے والوں میں ہوگا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

آج تمہارے لیے ساری پاک چیزیں حلال کر دی گئی ہیں اہل کتاب کا کھانا تمہارے لیے حلال ہے اور تمہارا کھانا اُن کے لیے اور محفوظ عورتیں بھی تمہارے لیے حلال ہیں خواہ وہ اہل ایمان کے گروہ سے ہوں یا اُن قوموں میں سے جن کو تم سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی تھی، بشر طیکہ تم اُن کے مہر ادا کر کے نکاح میں اُن کے محافظ بنو، نہ یہ کہ آزاد شہوت رانی کرنے لگو یا چوری چھپے آشنائیاں کرو اور جو کسی نے ایمان کی روش پر چلنے سے انکار کیا تو اس کا سارا کارنامہ زندگی ضائع ہو جائے گا اور وہ آخرت میں دیوالیہ ہوگا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
are convinced!
إِذَا
Whenever
قُمْتُمْ
you group together
إِلَى
at
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
the community meeting (the assembly)
فَٱغْسِلُوا۟
then make appropriate
وُجُوهَكُمْ
your reasons
وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ
and your strengths
إِلَى
directed towards
ٱلْمَرَافِقِ
the public welfare,
وَٱمْسَحُوا۟
and analyse
بِرُءُوسِكُمْ
with your heads
وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ
and leg yourself
إِلَى
towards
ٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ
the most obvious (issues);
ۚ
وَإِن
and if
كُنتُمْ
you happen to be
جُنُبًۭا
biased
فَٱطَّهَّرُوا۟
then clean (the biasness),
ۚ
وَإِن
and if
كُنتُم
you happen to be
مَّرْضَىٰٓ
ill,
أَوْ
or
عَلَىٰ
upon
سَفَرٍ
a journey,
أَوْ
or
جَآءَ
came
أَحَدٌۭ
one
مِّنكُم
of you
مِّنَ
from
ٱلْغَآئِطِ
the lower level,
أَوْ
or
لَٰمَسْتُمُ
you can sense
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
the weakness,
فَلَمْ
so if not
تَجِدُوا۟
you can find
مَآءًۭ
an essence,
فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟
then aim for
صَعِيدًۭا
a level
طَيِّبًۭا
that is good,
فَٱمْسَحُوا۟
then analyse
بِوُجُوهِكُمْ
regarding your targets
وَأَيْدِيكُم
and your strengths
مِّنْهُ
from it;
ۚ
مَا
not
يُرِيدُ
desires
ٱللَّهُ
the One
لِيَجْعَلَ
to put
عَلَيْكُم
upon you
مِّنْ
of
حَرَجٍۢ
difficulty,
وَلَٰكِن
rather
يُرِيدُ
desires
لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ
to make you progress
وَلِيُتِمَّ
and to make perfect
نِعْمَتَهُۥ
His bounty
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
لَعَلَّكُمْ
that perhaps
تَشْكُرُونَ
you give thanks.

٦
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَٱغْسِلُوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْمَرَافِقِ وَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِرُءُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى ٱلْكَعْبَيْنِ ۚ وَإِن كُنتُمْ جُنُبًۭا فَٱطَّهَّرُوا۟ ۚ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَىٰٓ أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَآءَ أَحَدٌۭ مِّنكُم مِّنَ ٱلْغَآئِطِ أَوْ لَٰمَسْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا۟ مَآءًۭ فَتَيَمَّمُوا۟ صَعِيدًۭا طَيِّبًۭا فَٱمْسَحُوا۟ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ ۚ مَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍۢ وَلَٰكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُۥ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ O you of the ones who are convinced! Whenever you group together at the community meeting (the assembly) then make appropriate your reasons and your strengths directed towards the public welfare, and analyse with your heads and leg yourself towards the most obvious (issues); and if you happen to be biased then clean (the biasness), and if you happen to be ill, or upon a journey, or came one of you from the lower level, or you can sense the weakness, so if not you can find an essence, then aim for a level that is good, then analyse regarding your targets and your strengths from it; not desires the One to put upon you of difficulty, rather desires to make you progress and to make perfect His bounty upon you that perhaps you give thanks.

O ye who believe! When ye rise up for prayer, wash you faces, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles. And if ye are unclean, purify yourselves. And if ye are sick or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have had contact with women, and ye find not water, then go to clean, high ground and rub your faces and your hands with some of it. وَٱلَّذِينَ
And the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
denied
وَكَذَّبُوا۟
and lied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
about Our signs,
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
أَصْحَٰبُ
the companions of
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
the stagnant life.
And the ones who denied and lied about Our signs, those are the companions of the stagnant life.

And they who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are rightful owners of hell. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

As for those who are faithless and deny Our signs, they shall be the inmates of hell. - Qarai, Ali Quli

However, the unbelievers who have called Our revelations lies will have hell for their dwelling. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject our communications, these are the companions of the name. - Shakir, Habib

O ye who believe! Remember Allah's favour unto you, how a people were minded to stretch out their hands against you but He withheld their hands from you; and keep your duty to Allah. In Allah let believers put their trust. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who believe! remember Allah's favor on you when a people had determined to stretch forth their hands towards you, but He withheld their hands from you, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; and on Allah let the believers rely. - Shakir, Habib

Believers, remember the blessings which God bestowed upon you when a certain people were about to lay hands on you and He held back their hands from you. Have fear of God and in God let the believers place their trust. - Wahiduddin Khan

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ ٱثْنَىْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًۭا ۖ وَقَالَ ٱللَّهُ إِنِّى مَعَكُمْ ۖ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَيْتُمُ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَءَامَنتُم بِرُسُلِى وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Allah made a covenant of old with the Children of Israel and We raised among them twelve chieftains, and Allah said: Lo! I am with you. If ye establish worship and pay the poor-due, and believe in My messengers and support them, and lend unto Allah a kindly loan, surely I shall remit your sins, and surely I shall bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow. Whoso among you disbelieveth after this will go astray from a plain road. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly Allah took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We raised among them twelve chiefs. And Allah said, [I am with you! Surely, if you maintain the prayer and give the zakat and have faith in My apostles and support them and lend Allah a good loan, I will surely absolve you of your misdeeds, and I will surely admit you into gardens with streams running in them. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the right way.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

God certainly made a solemn covenant with the children of Israel and raised among them twelve elders. God said to them, [I am with you if you will be steadfast in your prayers, pay (zakat) religious tax, believe in My Messengers, support them with reverence, and give a generous loan for the cause of God.] We shall expiate your bad deeds and admit you to the gardens wherein streams flow. Whichever of you turns to disbelief after this has certainly gone astray (from the right path).] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And certainly Allah made a covenant with the children of Israel, and We raised up among them twelve chieftains; and Allah said: Surely I am with you; if you keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and believe in My apostles and assist them and offer to Allah a goodly gift, I will most certainly cover your evil deeds, and I will most certainly cause you to enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, but whoever disbelieves from among you after that, he indeed shall lose the right way. - Shakir, Habib

If you attend to your prayers and pay the alms and believe in My messengers and support them, and give a generous loan to God, I will certainly forgive you your sins and admit you into Gardens through which rivers flow. Whoever among you denies the truth after this shall go astray from the straight path.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور بے شک اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد لیا اور ہم نے ان میں سے بارہ نقیب بھیجے اور خدا نے یہ بھی کہہ دیاکہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں اگر تم نے نماز قائم کی اور زکوِٰ ادا کی اور ہمارے رسولوں پر ایمان لے آئے اور ان کی مدد کی اور خدا کی راہ میں قرض حسنہ دیاتو ہم یقینا تمہاری برائیوں سے درگزر کریں گے اور تمہیں ان باغات میں داخل کریں گے جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی -پھر جو اس کے بعد کفر کرے گا تو وہ بہت اِرے راستہ کی طرف بہک گیا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے پختہ عہد لیا تھا اور ان میں بارہ نقیب مقرر کیے تھے اور ان سے کہا تھا کہ ——میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں، اگر تم نے نماز قائم رکھی اور زکوٰۃ دی اور میرے رسولوں کو مانا اور ان کی مدد کی اور اپنے خدا کو اچھا قرض دیتے رہے تو یقین رکھو کہ میں تمہاری برائیاں تم سے زائل کر دوں گا اور تم کو ایسے باغوں میں داخل کروں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہوں گی، مگراس کے بعد جس نے تم میں سے کفر کی روش اختیار کی تو در حقیقت اُس نے سوا٫ السبیل گم کر دی—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہد کیا اور ہم نے ان میں بارہ سردار قائم کیے اور اللہ نے فرمایا بیشک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں ضرور اگر تم نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور میرے سوالوں پر ایمان لاؤ اور ان کی تعظیم کرو اور اللہ کو قرض حسن دو بیشک میں تمہارے گناہ اتار دوں گا اور ضرور تمہیں باغوں میں لے جاؤں گا جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں، پھر اس کے بعد جو تم میں سے کفر کرے وہ ضرور سیدھی راہ سے بہکا - Ahmed Raza

اور بلاشبہ اللہ نے بنی اسرائیل سے عہدوپیمان لیا تھا اور ہم نے بھی بارہ نقیب (سردار) مقرر کئے تھے۔ اور اللہ نے (ان سے) کہا تھا کہ بے شک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں۔ تو اگر تم نماز قائم رکھوگے، اور زکوٰۃ دیتے رہوگے اور میرے رسولوں پر ایمان لاتے رہوگے، اور ان کی مدد کرتے رہوگے اور اللہ کو قرضہ حسنہ دیتے رہوگے تو میں ضرور تمہارے گناہ تم سے دور کر دوں گا۔ (معاف کر دوں گا) اور تمہیں ان بہشتوں میں داخل کروں گا۔ جن کے نیچے سے نہریں جاری ہوں گی مگر تم میں سے جس نے اس کے بعد کفر اختیار کیا وہ ضرور سیدھے راستے سے بھٹک گیا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And because of their breaking their covenant, We have cursed them and made hard their hearts. They change words from their context and forget a part of that whereof they were admonished. Thou wilt not cease to discover treachery from all save a few of them. But bear with them and pardon them. Lo! Allah loveth the kindly. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

You will not cease to learn of some of their treachery, excepting a few of them. Yet excuse them and forbear. Indeed Allah loves the virtuous. - Qarai, Ali Quli

For their disregard of their solemn covenant with God, We condemned the Israelites and made their hearts hard as stone. Now they displace the words of God and have forgotten their share of the guidance that they had received. Still you receive news of the treachery of all but a few of them. Forgive and ignore them. They distorted the meaning of the revealed words, taking them out of their context, and forgot much of what they were enjoined. پھر ان کی عہد شکنی کی بنا پر ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی اور ان کے دلوں کو سخت بنا دیا وہ ہمارے کلمات کو ان کی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں اور انہوں نے ہماری یاددہانی کا اکثر حصّہ فراموش کردیا ہے اور تم ان کی خیانتوں پر برابر مطلع ہوتے رہوگے علاوہ چند افراد کے لہذا ان سے درگزر کرو اور ان کی طرف سے کنارہ کشی کرو کہ اللہ احسان کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر یہ اُن کا اپنے عہد کو توڑ ڈالنا تھا جس کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان کو اپنی رحمت سے دور پھینک دیا اور ان کے دل سخت کر دیے اب ان کا حال یہ ہے کہ الفاظ کا الٹ پھیر کر کے بات کو کہیں سے کہیں لے جاتے ہیں، جو تعلیم انہیں دی گئی تھی اُس کا بڑا حصہ بھول چکے ہیں، اور آئے دن تمہیں ان کی کسی نہ کسی خیانت کا پتہ چلتا رہتا ہے ان میں سے بہت کم لوگ اس عیب سے بچے ہوئے ہیں (پس جب یہ اِس حال کو پہنچ چکے ہیں تو جو شرارتیں بھی یہ کریں وہ ان سے عین متوقع ہیں) لہٰذا انہیں معاف کرو اور ان کی حرکات سے چشم پوشی کرتے رہو، اللہ اُن لوگوں کو پسند کرتا ہے جو احسان کی روش رکھتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو ان کی کیسی بد عہدیوں پر ہم نے انہیں لعنت کی اور ان کے دل سخت کردیئے اللہ کی باتوں کو ان کے ٹھکانوں سے بدلتے ہیں اور بُھلا بیٹھے بڑا حصہ ان نصیحتوں کا جو انہیں دی گئیں اور تم ہمیشہ ان کی ایک نہ ایک دغا پر مطلع ہوتے رہو گے سوا تھوڑوں کے تو انہیں معاف کردو اور ان سے درگزرو بیشک احسان والے ا لله کو محبوب ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

ان کی عہد شکنی کی وجہ سے ہم نے ان پر لعنت کی (اپنی رحمت سے دور کر دیا) اور ان کے دلوں کو سخت کر دیا کہ وہ اب کلامِ (الٰہی) کو اس کی اصلی جگہ سے ہٹا دیتے ہیں (تحریف کرتے ہیں) اور جس چیز کی ان کو نصیحت کی گئی تھی اس کا بڑا حصہ بھلا بیٹھے ہیں (اے پیغمبر(ص)) ان کے معدودے چند آدمیوں کے سوا برابر ان کی کسی نہ کسی خیانت پر مطلع ہوتے رہیں گے لہٰذا انہیں معاف کر دیجیے اور ان سے درگزر کیجیے بے شک اللہ معاف کرنے والوں کو دوست رکھتا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And with those who say: [Lo! we are Christians,] We made a covenant, but they forgot a part of that whereof they were admonished. Therefor We have stirred up enmity and hatred among them till the Day of Resurrection, when Allah will inform them of their handiwork. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Also from those who say, [We are Christians,] We took their pledge; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded. So We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection, and soon Allah will inform them concerning what they had been doing. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We had made a solemn covenant with those who call themselves Christians, but they forgot their share of the guidance that was sent to them. We have induced hatred and animosity among them which will remain with them until the Day of Judgment when God will tell them about what they had done. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اِسی طرح ہم نے اُن لوگوں سے بھی پختہ عہد لیا تھا جنہوں نے کہا تھا کہ ہم ——نصاریٰ—— ہیں، مگر ان کو بھی جو سبق یاد کرایا گیا تھا اس کا ایک بڑا حصہ اُنہوں نے فراموش کر دیا آخر کار ہم نے ان کے درمیان قیامت تک کے لیے دشمنی اور آپس کے بغض و عناد کا بیج بو دیا، اور ضرور ایک وقت آئے گا جب اللہ انہیں بتائے گا کہ وہ دنیا میں کیا بناتے رہے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور وہ جنہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ ہم نصاریٰ ہیں ہم نے ان سے عہد لیا تو وہ بھلا بیٹھے بڑا حصہ ان نصیحتوں کا جو انہیں دی گئیں تو ہم نے ان کے آپس میں قیامت کے دن تک بَیر اور بغض ڈال دیا اور عنقریب اللہ انہیں بتادے گا جو کچھ کرتے تھے - Ahmed Raza
