يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
have conviction!
لَا
Do not
تُحِلُّوا۟
absolve yourself of:
شَعَٰٓئِرَ
attributes of
ٱللَّهِ
the One,
وَلَا
and not (absolve from)
ٱلشَّهْرَ
the conditions that
ٱلْحَرَامَ
are binding,
وَلَا
and not (absolve from)
ٱلْهَدْىَ
the guidance,
وَلَا
and not (absolve from)
ٱلْقَلَٰٓئِدَ
the assigned duties,
وَلَآ
and not (absolve from)
ءَآمِّينَ
knowledgeless of
ٱلْبَيْتَ
the charter of
ٱلْحَرَامَ
Inviolation,
يَبْتَغُونَ
they are seeking
فَضْلًۭا
a blessing
مِّن
from
رَّبِّهِمْ
their Rabb
وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا
and satisfaction.
ۚ
وَإِذَا
And whenever
حَلَلْتُمْ
you are allowed (by law)
فَٱصْطَادُوا۟
thus imprison them.
ۚ
وَلَا
And not
يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ
let incriminate you
شَنَـَٔانُ
hatred of
قَوْمٍ
a people
أَن
that
صَدُّوكُمْ
repelled you
عَنِ
from
ٱلْمَسْجِدِ
the Institute of
ٱلْحَرَامِ
Inviolation;
أَن
that
تَعْتَدُوا۟
you transgress;
ۘ
وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟
and be of assistance
عَلَى
based upon
ٱلْبِرِّ
the loyalty
وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ
and the awareness;
ۖ
وَلَا
and don't
تَعَاوَنُوا۟
be of assistance
عَلَى
based upon
ٱلْإِثْمِ
injustice
وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ
and transgression,
ۚ
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
and be mindful of
ٱللَّهَ
the One;
ۖ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
شَدِيدُ
intense (when it comes to)
ٱلْعِقَابِ
the chase.
٥
٢
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُحِلُّوا۟ شَعَٰٓئِرَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَا ٱلشَّهْرَ ٱلْحَرَامَ وَلَا ٱلْهَدْىَ وَلَا ٱلْقَلَٰٓئِدَ وَلَآ ءَآمِّينَ ٱلْبَيْتَ ٱلْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًۭا مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَٰنًۭا ۚ وَإِذَا حَلَلْتُمْ فَٱصْطَادُوا۟ ۚ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوْمٍ أَن صَدُّوكُمْ عَنِ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ أَن تَعْتَدُوا۟ ۘ وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ O you of the ones who have conviction! Do not absolve yourself of: attributes of the One, and not (absolve from) the conditions that are binding, and not (absolve from) the guidance, and not (absolve from) the assigned duties, and not (absolve from) knowledgeless of the charter of Inviolation, they are seeking a blessing from their Rabb and satisfaction. And whenever you are allowed (by law) thus imprison them. And not let incriminate you hatred of a people that repelled you from the Institute of Inviolation; that you transgress; and be of assistance based upon the loyalty and the awareness; and don't be of assistance based upon injustice and transgression, and be mindful of the One; surely the One is intense (when it comes to) the chase.

O ye who believe! Profane not Allah's monuments nor the Sacred Month nor the offerings nor the garlands, nor those repairing to the Sacred House, seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord. But when ye have left the sacred territory, then go hunting (if ye will). And let not your hatred of a folk who (once) stopped your going to the inviolable place of worship seduce you to transgress; but help ye one another unto righteousness and pious duty. Help not one another unto sin and transgression, but keep your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is severe in punishment. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Do not violate Allah]s sacraments, neither the sacred month, nor the offering, nor the necklaces, nor those bound for the Sacred House, who seek their Lord]s grace and [His] pleasure. But when you emerge from pilgrim sanctity, you may hunt for game. Ill feeling for a people should not lead you, because they barred you from [access to] the Sacred Mosque, to transgress. Cooperate in piety and Godwariness, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is severe in retribution. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, do not disrespect the reminders of God, the sacred months, the animals brought for sacrifice, or what is marked for sacrificial offering or the people heading to the precinct of the Sacred House to seek the favor and pleasure of their Lord. Once the restrictions of ihram are over, you may hunt. Do not let the hostility of a group of people keep you away from the Sacred Mosque or make you express animosity. Co-operate with each other in righteousness and piety, not in sin and hostility. Have fear of God; He is stern in His retribution. - Sarwar, Muhammad

O you who believe! do not violate the signs appointed by Allah nor the sacred month, nor (interfere with) the offerings, nor the sacrificial animals with garlands, nor those going to the sacred house seeking the grace and pleasure of their Lord; and when you are free from the obligations of the pilgrimage, then hunt, and let not hatred of a people-- because they hindered you from the Sacred Masjid-- incite you to exceed the limits, and help one another in goodness and piety, and do not help one another in sin and aggression; and be careful of (your duty to) Allah; surely Allah is severe in requiting (evil). - Shakir, Habib

Believers, violate neither the sanctity of God's signs, the Sacred Month, the sacrificial animals, the animals wearing garlands [indicating they are to be sacrificed] nor those on their way to the Sacred House seeking the bounty and pleasure of their Lord. When, on completion of your pilgrimage, you take off the garb of the pilgrim, you may hunt. Do not let the enmity of those who barred you from the Sacred Mosque lead you into sin. Help one another in goodness and in piety. Do not help one another in sin and transgression. Fear God! God is severe in punishment. - Wahiduddin Khan

ایمان والو !خبردار خدا کی نشانیوں کی حرمت کو ضائع نہ کرنا اور نہ محترم مہینے. قربانی کے جانور اور جن جانوروں کے گلے میں پٹےّ باندھ دیئے گئے ہیں اور جو لوگ خانہ خدا کا ارادہ کرنے والے ہیں اور فرض پروردگار اور رضائے الٰہی کے طلبگار ہیں ان کی حرمت کی خلاف ورزی کرنا اور جب احرام ختم ہوجائے تو شکار کرو اور خبردار کسی قوم کی عداوت فقط اس بات پر کہ اس نے تمہیں مسجدالحرام سے روک دیا ہے تمہیں ظلم پر آمادہ نہ کردے --نیکی اور تقویٰ پر ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرو اور گناہ اور تعدّی پر آپس میں تعاون نہ کرنا اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہنا کہ اس کا عذاب بہت سخت ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، خد ا پرستی کی نشانیوں کو بے حرمت نہ کرو نہ حرام مہینوں میں سے کسی کو حلال کر لو، نہ قربانی کے جانوروں پر دست درازی کرو، نہ اُن جانوروں پر ہاتھ ڈالو جن کی گردنوں میں نذر خداوندی کی علامت کے طور پر پٹے پڑے ہوئے ہوں، نہ اُن لوگوں کو چھیڑو جو اپنے رب کے فضل اور اس کی خوشنودی کی تلاش میں مکان محترم (کعبہ) کی طرف جا رہے ہوں ہاں جب احرام کی حالت ختم ہو جائے تو شکار تم کرسکتے ہو اور دیکھو، ایک گروہ نے جو تمہارے لیے مسجد حرام کا راستہ بند کر دیا ہے تواس پر تمہارا غصہ تمہیں اتنا مشتعل نہ کر دے کہ تم بھی ان کے مقابلہ میں ناروا زیادتیاں کرنے لگو نہیں! جو کام نیکی اور خدا ترسی کے ہیں ان میں سب سے تعاون کرو اور جو گناہ اور زیادتی کے کام ہیں ان میں کسی سے تعاون نہ کرو اللہ سے ڈرو، اس کی سز ا بہت سخت ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! حلال نہ ٹھہرالو اللہ کے نشان اور نہ ادب والے مہینے اور نہ حرم کو بھیجی ہوئی قربانیاں اور نہ جن کے گلے میں علامتیں آویزاں اور نہ ان کا مال و آبرو جو عزت والے گھر کا قصد کرکے آئیں اپنے رب کا فضل اوراس کی خوشی چاہتے اور جب احرام سے نکلو تو شکار کرسکتے ہو اور تمہیں کسی قوم کی عداوت کہ انہوں نے تم کو مسجد حرام سے روکا تھا، زیادتی کرنے پر نہ ابھارے اور نیکی اور پرہیزگاری پر ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرو اور گناہ اور زیادتی پر باہم مدد نہ دو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو بیشک اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اے ایمان والو! خدا کی نشانیوں کی بے حرمتی نہ کرو۔ اور نہ حرمت والے مہینہ کی اور نہ قربانی والے جانور کی اور نہ گلے میں پٹے ڈالے ہوئے جانوروں کی اور نہ ان لوگوں کی (بے حرمتی کرو) جو اپنے پروردگار کا فضل و کرم اور اس کی رضامندی کے طلبگار بن کر بیت الحرام (مقدس گھر) کی طرف جا رہے ہیں اور جب احرام ختم ہو جائے (یا حرم سے باہر نکل جاؤ) تو شکار کر سکتے ہو۔ اور خبردار، تمہیں کسی قوم سے عداوت کہ اس نے تمہیں مسجد الحرام سے روک دیا تھا۔ اس بات پر آمادہ نہ کرے کہ تم (اس پر) ظلم و زیادتی کرو۔ اور نیکی و پرہیزگاری کے کاموں میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد کرو اور گناہ اور زیادتی کے کاموں میں ایک دوسرے کی مدد نہ کرو۔ اور اللہ (کی نافرمانی) سے ڈرو بے شک اللہ سخت سزا دینے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ وَٱلدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ ٱلْخِنزِيرِ وَمَآ أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ بِهِۦ وَٱلْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَٱلْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَٱلْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَٱلنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَآ أَكَلَ ٱلسَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى ٱلنُّصُبِ وَأَن تَسْتَقْسِمُوا۟ بِٱلْأَزْلَٰمِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ ۗ ٱلْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن دِينِكُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَٱخْشَوْنِ ۚ ٱلْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِى وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ ٱلْإِسْلَٰمَ دِينًۭا ۚ فَمَنِ ٱضْطُرَّ فِى مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍۢ لِّإِثْمٍۢ ۙ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌۭ رَّحِيمٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Forbidden unto you (for food) are carrion and blood and swineflesh, and that which hath been dedicated unto any other than Allah, and the strangled, and the dead through beating, and the dead through falling from a height, and that which hath been killed by (the goring of) horns, and the devoured of wild beasts, saving that which ye make lawful (by the death-stroke), and that which hath been immolated unto idols. And (forbidden is it) that ye swear by the divining arrows. This is an abomination. This day are those who disbelieve in despair of (ever harming) your religion; so fear them not, fear Me! This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion al-Islam. Whoso is forced by hunger, not by will, to sin: (for him) lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

You are prohibited carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and what has been offered to other than Allah, and the animal strangled or beaten to death, and that which dies by falling or is gored to death, and that which is mangled by a beast of prey—barring that which you may purify —and what is sacrificed on stone altars [to idols], and that you should divide by raffling with arrows. All that is transgression. Today the faithless have despaired of your religion. So do not fear them, but fear Me. Today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam as your religion. But should anyone be compelled by hunger, without inclining to sin, then Allah is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful. - Qarai, Ali Quli

It is unlawful for you to consume the following as food: an animal that has not been properly slaughtered, blood, pork, an animal slaughtered and consecrated in the name of someone other than God, an animal killed by strangulation or a violent blow, an animal killed by falling down, an animal which has been gored to death, an animal partly eaten by a wild beast before being properly slaughtered, an animal which has been sacrificed on the stone blocks (which pagans worshipped), and any flesh divided by casting superstitious and gambling arrows (a pagan tradition), which is a sin. Today, the unbelievers have lost hope about your religion. Do not be afraid of them but have fear of Me. On this day I have perfected your religion, completed My favors to you, and have chosen Islam as your religion. If anyone not (normally) inclined to sin is forced by hunger to eat unlawful substances instead of proper food, he may do so to spare his life. God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear Me. This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Shakir, Habib

You are forbidden carrion, blood and pork; and any flesh over which the name of any other than God is invoked; and any creature which has been strangled, or killed by a blow or in a fall, or has been gored to death or half-eaten by a wild animal, saving that which you make lawful [by slaughtering properly while it was still alive] and what has been slaughtered at an altar. You are forbidden to make the division of [meat] by means of divining arrows: that is sinful conduct. Those who deny the truth have this day despaired of ever harming your religion. So do not fear them. Fear Me. Today I have completed your religion for you and completed My blessing upon you. I have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if anyone is forced by hunger to eat something which is forbidden, not intending to commit a sin, he will find God forgiving and merciful. - Wahiduddin Khan

تمہارے اوپر حرام کردیا گیا ہے مردار -خون - سور کا گوشت اور جو جانور غیر خدا کے نام پر ذبح کیا جائے اورمنخنقہ اور موقوذہً اور متردیہ اور نطیحہ اور جس کو درندہ کھا جائے مگریہ کہ تم خود ذبح کرلو اور جو نصاب پر ذبح کیا جائے اور جس کی تیروں کے ذریعہ قرعہ اندازی کرو کہ یہ سب فسق ہے اور کفار تمہارے دین سے مایوس ہوگئے ہیں لہذا تم ان سے نہ ڈرو اور مجھ سے ڈرو -آج میں نے تمہارے لئے دین کو کامل کردیا ہے اور اپنی نعمتوں کو تمام کردیا ہے اور تمہارے لئے دین اسلام کو پسندیدہ بنادیا ہے لہذا جو شخص بھوک میں مجبور ہوجائے اور گناہ کی طرف مائل نہ ہو تو خدا بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تم پر حرام کیا گیا مُردار، خون، سُور کا گوشت، وہ جانور جو خدا کے سوا کسی اور کے نام پر ذبح کیا گیا ہو، وہ جو گھلا گھٹ کر، یا چوٹ کھا کر، یا بلندی سے گر کر، یا ٹکر کھا کر مرا ہو، یا جسے کسی درندے نے پھاڑا ہو سوائے اس کے جسے تم نے زندہ پاکر ذبح کر لیا اور وہ جو کسی آستا نے پر ذبح کیا گیا ہو نیز یہ بھی تمہارے لیے ناجائز ہے کہ پانسوں کے ذریعہ سے اپنی قسمت معلوم کرو یہ سب افعال فسق ہیں آج کافروں کو تمہارے دین کی طرف سے پوری مایوسی ہو چکی ہے لہٰذا تم اُن سے نہ ڈرو بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو آج میں نے تمہارے دین کو تمہارے لیے مکمل کر دیا ہے اور اپنی نعمت تم پر تمام کر دی ہے اور تمہارے لیے اسلام کو تمہارے دین کی حیثیت سے قبول کر لیا ہے (لہٰذا حرام و حلال کی جو قیود تم پر عائد کر دی گئی ہیں اُن کی پابند ی کرو) البتہ جو شخص بھوک سے مجبور ہو کر اُن میں سے کوئی چیز کھا لے، بغیر اس کے کہ گناہ کی طرف اس کا میلان ہو تو بیشک اللہ معاف کرنے والا اور رحم فرمانے والا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تم پر حرام کیا گیا ہے۔ مردار، خون، خنزیر کا گوشت اور وہ جانور جس پر ذبح کے وقت غیر خدا کا نام لیا جائے۔ اور گلا گھوٹا ہوا، یا جو چوٹ لگنے سے یا بلندی سے گر کر، یا سینگ لگنے سے مر جائے یا جسے کسی درندہ نے کھایا ہو۔ سوائے اس کے جسے تم نے ذبح کر لیا ہو۔ اور وہ (بھی حرام ہے) جو قربان کیا جائے بتوں پر (یا کسی آستانے پر) نیز (وہ بھی حرام ہے) جو قرعہ کے تیروں سے تقسیم کیا جائے۔ یہ سب کام فسق (گناہ) ہیں۔ آج میں نے تمہارے لئے دین کو مکمل کر دیا ہے۔ اور اپنی نعمت تم پر تمام کر دی ہے اور تمہارے لئے دین کی حیثیت سے اسلام کو پسند کر لیا ہے ہاں جو بھوک کی شدت سے مجبور ہو جائے (اور حرام چیزوں سے کوئی کھا لے) جبکہ گناہ کی طرف راغب نہ ہو تو اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا بڑا رحم کرنے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

They ask thee (O Muhammad) what is made lawful for them. Say: (all) good things are made lawful for you. And those beasts and birds of prey which ye have trained as hounds are trained, ye teach them that which Allah taught you; so eat of that which they catch for you and mention Allah's name upon it, and observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is swift to take account. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Say, [All the good things are lawful to you.] As for what you have taught hunting dogs [to catch], teaching them out of what Allah has taught you, eat of what they catch for you and mention Allah]s Name over it, and be wary of Allah. (Muhammad), they ask you what has been made lawful for them (as food). Tell them, [All pure things are made lawful for you.] If you train dogs or other beasts for hunting, you should train them according to what God has taught you. It, then, is lawful for you to eat the animals that they hunt, provided you mention the Name of God over the prey. Have fear of God. Certainly God's reckoning is swift. - Sarwar, Muhammad

لوگ پوچھتے ہیں کہ ان کے لیے کیا حلال کیا گیا ہے، کہو تمہارے لیے ساری پاک چیزیں حلال کر دی گئی ہیں اور جن شکاری جانوروں کو تم نے سدھایا ہو جن کو خدا کے دیے ہوئے علم کی بنا پر تم شکار کی تعلیم دیا کرتے ہو وہ جس جانور کو تمہارے لیے پکڑ رکھیں اس کو بھی تم کھاسکتے ہو، البتہ اس پر اللہ کا نام لے لو اور اللہ کا قانون توڑنے سے ڈرو، اللہ کو حساب لیتے کچھ دیر نہیں لگتی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

This day are (all) good things made lawful for you. The food of those who have received the Scripture is lawful for you, and your food is lawful for them. And so are the virtuous women of the believers and the virtuous women of those who received the Scripture before you (lawful for you) when ye give them their marriage portions and live with them in honour, not in fornication, nor taking them as secret concubines. Whoso denieth the faith, his work is vain and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It is lawful for you to marry chaste Muslim women and chaste women of the People of the Book, provided, you pay their dowry, maintain chastity, and avoid fornication or lustful relations outside of marriage. The deeds of anyone who rejects the faith, certainly, become fruitless. He will be of those who lose on the Day of Judgment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

آج تمہارے لئے تمام پاکیزہ چیزیں حلال کردی گئی ہیں اور اہلِ کتاب کا طعام بھی تمہارے لئے حلال ہے اور تمہارا طعام ان کے لئے حلال ہے اور اہلِ ایمان کی آزاد اور پاک دامن عورتیں یا ان کی آزاد عورتیں جن کو تم سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی ہے تمہارے لئے حلال ہے بشرطیکہ تم ان کی اجرت دے دو پاکیزگی کے ساتھ -نہ کھّلم کھلاّ زنا کی اجرت کے طور پر اور نہ پوشیدہ طور پر دوستی کے انداز سے اور جو بھی ایمان سے انکار کرے گا اس کے اعمال یقینا برباد ہوجائیں گے اور وہ آخرت میں گھاٹا اُٹھانے والوں میں ہوگا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

آج تمہارے لیے ساری پاک چیزیں حلال کر دی گئی ہیں اہل کتاب کا کھانا تمہارے لیے حلال ہے اور تمہارا کھانا اُن کے لیے اور محفوظ عورتیں بھی تمہارے لیے حلال ہیں خواہ وہ اہل ایمان کے گروہ سے ہوں یا اُن قوموں میں سے جن کو تم سے پہلے کتاب دی گئی تھی، بشر طیکہ تم اُن کے مہر ادا کر کے نکاح میں اُن کے محافظ بنو، نہ یہ کہ آزاد شہوت رانی کرنے لگو یا چوری چھپے آشنائیاں کرو اور جو کسی نے ایمان کی روش پر چلنے سے انکار کیا تو اس کا سارا کارنامہ زندگی ضائع ہو جائے گا اور وہ آخرت میں دیوالیہ ہوگا - Maududi, Abul A'ala
