And those who disbelieve, perdition is for them, and He will make their actions vain. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

As for the faithless, their lot will be to fall [into ruin], and He will render their works fruitless. - Qarai, Ali Quli

The fate of the disbelievers will be to stumble and their deeds will have no virtuous results; - Sarwar, Muhammad

And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective. - Shakir, Habib

فَأَحْبَطَ
thus pointless are
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
their actions.
That is due to the fact that they are repulsed what sent down the One, thus pointless are their actions.

That is because they are averse to that which Allah hath revealed, therefor maketh He their actions fruitless. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

That is because they loathed what Allah has sent down, so He made their works fail. - Qarai, Ali Quli

they have hated God's revelation, and thus, He has made their deeds devoid of all virtue. - Sarwar, Muhammad

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَلِلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَمْثَٰلُهَا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Have they not travelled in the land to see the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? Allah wiped them out. And for the disbelievers there will be the like thereof. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Have they not travelled through the land so that they may observe how was the fate of those who were before them? Allah destroyed them, and a similar [fate] awaits these faithless. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Have they not travelled through the land and seen the terrible end of those who lived before them? God brought upon them utter destruction and the disbelievers will also faced similar perdition. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Have they not then journeyed in the land and seen how was the end of those before them: Allah brought down destruction upon them, and the unbelievers shall have the like of it. - Shakir, Habib

Have they not travelled the earth and seen how those before them met their end? God destroyed them utterly: a similar fate awaits those who deny the truth. - Wahiduddin Khan

تو کیا ان لوگوں نے زمین میں سیر نہیں کی ہے کہ دیکھتے کہ ان سے پہلے والوں کا کیا انجام ہوا ہے بیشک اللہ نے انہیں تباہ و برباد کردیا ہے اور کفاّر کے لئے بالکل ایسی ہی سزا مقرر ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

کیا وہ زمین میں چلے پھرے نہ تھے کہ اُن لوگوں کا انجام دیکھتے جو ان سے پہلے گزر چکے ہیں؟ اللہ نے اُن کا سب کچھ اُن پر الٹ دیا، اور ایسے نتائج اِن کافروں کے لیے مقدر ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

تو کیا انہوں نے زمین میں سفر نہ کیا کہ دیکھتے ان سے اگلوں کا کیسا انجام ہوا، اللہ نے ان پر تباہی ڈالی اور ان کافروں کے لیے بھی ویسی کتنی ہی ہیں - Ahmed Raza

That is
بِأَنَّ
due to it being that
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
مَوْلَى
protector of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
are of trust,
وَأَنَّ
and that
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
the denying people
لَا
do not
مَوْلَىٰ
have a protector
لَهُمْ
for them.
That is due to it being that the One is protector of the ones who are of trust, and that the denying people do not have a protector for them.

That is because Allah is patron of those who believe, and because the disbelievers have no patron. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

That is because Allah is the protector of the faithful, and because the faithless have no protector. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
God is the guardian of the believers, but the disbelievers have no guardian. - Sarwar, Muhammad

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُدْخِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ جَنَّٰتٍۢ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يَتَمَتَّعُونَ وَيَأْكُلُونَ كَمَا تَأْكُلُ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمُ وَٱلنَّارُ مَثْوًۭى لَّهُمْ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Lo! Allah will cause those who believe and do good works to enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow; while those who disbelieve take their comfort in this life and eat even as the cattle eat, and the Fire is their habitation. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed Allah will admit those who have faith and do righteous deeds into gardens with streams running in them. As for the faithless, they enjoy and eat like the cattle do, and the Fire will be their [final] abode. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God will admit the righteously striving believers into the gardens wherein streams flow. However, the disbelievers who enjoyed themselves and ate like cattle will have for their dwelling hell fire. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Surely Allah will make those who believe and do good enter gardens beneath which rivers flow; and those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as the beasts eat, and the fire is their abode. - Shakir, Habib

God will admit those who believe and do good deeds to Gardens through which rivers flow. Those who deny the truth may take their fill of pleasure in this world, and eat as cattle do, but the Fire will be their ultimate abode. - Wahiduddin Khan

بیشک جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور انہوں نے نیک اعمال انجام دیئے خدا انہیں ایسے باغات میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی اور جن لوگوں نے کفر اختیار کیا وہ مزے کررہے ہیں اور اسی طرح کھارہے ہیں جس طرح جانور کھاتے ہیں اور ان کا آخری ٹھکانا جہّنم ہی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ایمان لانے والوں اور نیک عمل کرنے والوں کو اللہ اُن جنتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں، اور کفر کرنے والے بس دنیا کی چند روزہ زندگی کے مزے لوٹ رہے ہیں، جانوروں کی طرح کھا پی رہے ہیں، اور اُن کا آخری ٹھکانا جہنم ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بیشک اللہ داخل فرمائے گا انہیں جو ایمان لائے اور اچھے کام کیے باغوں میں جن کے نیچے نہریں رواں، اور کافر برتتے ہیں اور کھاتے ہیں جیسے چوپائے کھائیں اور آگ میں ان کا ٹھکانا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

بےشک اللہ ان لوگوں کو جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کئے ان بہشتوں میں داخل کرے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی اور جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا وہ (دنیا میں) بہرہ مند ہو رہے ہیں (عیش کر رہے ہیں) اور اس طرح کھا رہے ہیں جس طرح چوپائے کھاتے ہیں اور (ان کا آخری) ٹھکانہ دوزخ ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

A similitude of the Garden which those who keep their duty (to Allah) are promised: Therein are rivers of water unpolluted, and rivers of milk whereof the flavour changeth not, and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers, and rivers of clear-run honey; therein for them is every kind of fruit, with pardon from their Lord. (Are those who enjoy all this) like those who are immortal in the Fire and are given boiling water to drink so that it teareth their bowels? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

A description of the paradise promised to the Godwary: therein are streams of unstaling water and streams of milk unchanging in flavour, and streams of wine delicious to the drinkers, and streams of purified honey; there will be every kind of fruit in it for them, and forgiveness from their Lord. [Are such ones] like those who abide in the Fire and are given to drink boiling water which cuts up their bowels? - Qarai, Ali Quli

The garden, which is promised to the pious, is like one in which there are streams of unpolluted water, streams of milk of unchangeable taste, streams of delicious wine, and streams of crystal clear honey. Therein they will have all kinds of fruits and forgiveness from their Lord. On the other hand (can these people be considered like), those who will live forever in hell fire and will drink boiling water which will rip their intestines to bits? - Sarwar, Muhammad

A parable of the garden which those guarding (against evil) are promised: Therein are rivers of water that does not alter, and rivers of milk the taste whereof does not change, and rivers of drink delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey clarified and for them therein are all fruits and protection from their Lord. (Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder. - Shakir, Habib

اس جنّت کی صفت جس کا صاحبانِ تقویٰ سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے یہ ہے کہ اس میں ایسے پانی کی نہریں ہیں جس میں کسی طرح کی بو نہیں ہے اور کچھ نہریں دودھ کی بھی ہیں جن کا مزہ بدلتا ہی نہیں ہے اور کچھ نہریں شراب کی بھی ہیں جن میں پینے والوں کے لئے لذّت ہے اور کچھ نہریں صاف و شفاف شہد کی ہیں اور ان کے لئے ہر طرح کے میوے بھی ہیں اور پروردگار کی طرف سے مغفرت بھی ہے تو کیا یہ متقی افراد ان کے جیسے ہوسکتے ہیں جو ہمیشہ جہّنم میں رہنے والے ہیں اور جنہیں گرما گرم پانی پلایا جائے گا جس سے آنتیں ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہوجائیں گی - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پرہیز گاروں کے لیے جس جنت کا وعدہ کیا گیا ہے اس کی شان تو یہ ہے کہ اس میں نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی نتھرے ہوئے پانی کی، نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی ایسے دودھ کی جس کے مزے میں ذرا فرق نہ آیا ہو گا، نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی ایسی شراب کی جو پینے والوں کے لیے لذیذ ہوگی، نہریں بہہ رہی ہوں گی صاف شفاف شہد کی اُس میں اُن کے لیے ہر طرح کے پھل ہوں گے اور اُن کے رب کی طرف سے بخشش (کیا وہ شخص جس کے حصہ میں یہ جنت آنے والی ہے) اُن لوگوں کی طرح ہو سکتا ہے جو جہنم میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور جنہیں ایسا گرم پانی پلایا جائے گا جو ان کی آنتیں تک کاٹ دے گا؟ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

احوال اس جنت کا جس کا وعدہ پرہیزگاروں سے ہے، اس میں ایسی پانی کی نہریں ہیں جو کبھی نہ بگڑے اور ایسے دودھ کی نہریں ہیں جس کا مزہ نہ بدلا اور ایسی شراب کی نہریں ہیں جس کے پینے میں لذت ہے اور ایسی شہد کی نہریں ہیں جو صاف کیا گیا اور ان کے لیے اس میں ہر قسم کے پھل ہیں، اور اپنے رب کی مغفرت کیا ایسے چین والے ان کی برابر ہوجائیں گے جنہیں ہمیشہ آگ میں رہنا اور انہیں کھولتا پانی پلایا جائے گا کہ آنتوں کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کردے، - Ahmed Raza

وہ جنت جس کا پرہیزگاروں سے وعدہ کیا گیا ہے اس کی صفت یہ ہے کہ اس میں ایسے پانی کی نہریں ہیں جس میں تغیر نہیں ہوتا اور ایسے دودھ کی نہریں ہیں جس کا مزہ نہیں بدلتا اور ایسے شراب کی نہریں ہیں جو پینے والوں کے لئے لذیذ ہے اور ایسے شہد کی نہریں ہیں جو صاف شفاف ہے اور ان کیلئے وہاں ہر قسم کے پھل ہیں اور ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے بخشش ہے کیا ایسے (پرہیزگار) لوگ ان لوگوں جیسے ہو سکتے ہیں جو ہمیشہ دوزخ میں رہیں گے اور ان کو ایسا گرم پانی پلایا جائے گا جو ان کی آنتوں کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دے گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
