ٱلسَّمَآءُ
the sky
بِدُخَانٍۢ
along with smoke
مُّبِينٍۢ
that is clear.
Thus wait for a day when will come the sky along with smoke that is clear.

ٱلنَّاسَ

a punishment

that is painful.
Covering the populace; this is a punishment that is painful.

[Our Rabb! Remove from against us the punishment, indeed we are of conviction.]

the reminder,

while certainly
جَآءَهُمْ
has come to them
رَسُولٌۭ
a message of
مُّبِينٌۭ
clarity?
How for them is the reminder, while certainly has come to them a message of clarity?

How can there be remembrance for them, when a messenger making plain (the Truth) had already come unto them, - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then they turn against it and they say, [Teacher is crazy.]
