all the power and praise
لِلَّهِ
for the One,

Rabb of
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
all the states of being.

هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ فَٱدْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ ۗ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ He is the Life Giver — no unchallenged master except Him — so call upon Him being sincere for His governance system; all the power and praise for the One, Rabb of all the states of being.

He is the Living One. There is no Allah save Him. So pray unto Him, making religion pure for Him (only). Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اے نبیؐ، اِن لوگوں سے کہہ دو کہ مجھے تو اُن ہستیوں کی عبادت سے منع کر دیا گیا ہے جنہیں تم اللہ کو چھوڑ کر پکارتے ہو (میں یہ کام کیسے کر سکتا ہوں) جبکہ میرے پاس میرے رب کی طرف سے بینات آ چکی ہیں مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں رب العالمین کے آگے سرِ تسلیم خم کر دوں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

He it is Who created you from dust, then from a drop (of seed) then from a clot, then bringeth you forth as a child, then (ordaineth) that ye attain full strength and afterward that ye become old men - though some among you die before - and that ye reach an appointed term, that haply ye may understand. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وہی تو ہے جس نے تم کو مٹی سے پیدا کیا، پھر نطفے سے، پھر خون کے لوتھڑے سے، پھر وہ تمہیں بچے کی شکل میں نکالتا ہے، پھر تمہیں بڑھاتا ہے تاکہ تم اپنی پوری طاقت کو پہنچ جاؤ، پھر اور بڑھاتا ہے تاکہ تم بڑھاپے کو پہنچو اور تم میں سے کوئی پہلے ہی واپس بلا لیا جاتا ہے یہ سب کچھ اس لیے کیا جاتا ہے تاکہ تم اپنے مقرر وقت تک پہنچ جاؤ، اور اس لیے کہ تم حقیقت کو سمجھو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْـًۭٔا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

besides Allah?] They will say, [They have forsaken us. No, we did not invoke anything before.] That is how Allah leads the faithless astray. - Qarai, Ali Quli

They will reply, [They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing] Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Besides Allah? They shall say: They are gone away from us, nay, we used not to call upon anything before. Thus does Allah confound the unbelievers. - Shakir, Habib

They will say, [They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence].] Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; - Wahiduddin Khan

خدا کو چھوڑ کر.... تو وہ لوگ جواب دیں گے کہ وہ ہم کو چھوڑ کر گم ہوگئے بلکہ ہم اس کے پہلے کسی کو نہیں پکارا کرتے تھے اور اللہ اسی طرح کافروں کو گمراہی میں چھوڑ دیتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
