Moses said: Lo! I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every scorner who believeth not in a Day of Reckoning. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اور موسٰی علیھ السّلام نے کہا کہ میں اپنے اور تمہارے پروردگار کی پناہ حاصل کررہا ہوں ہر اس متکبر کے مقابلہ میں جس کا روز حساب پر ایمان نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

موسیٰؑ نے کہا ——میں نے تو ہر اُس متکبر کے مقابلے میں جو یَوم الحساب پر ایمان نہیں رکھتا اپنے ر ب اور تمہارے رب کی پناہ لے لی ہے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور موسیٰ نے کہا میں تمہارے اور اپنے رب کی پناہ لیتا ہوں ہر متکبر سے کہ حساب کے دن پر یقین نہیں لاتا - Ahmed Raza

And a believing man of Pharaoh's family, who hid his faith, said: Would ye kill a man because he saith: My Lord is Allah, and hath brought you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is lying, then his lie is upon him; and if he is truthful, then some of that wherewith he threateneth you will strike you. Lo! Allah guideth not one who is a prodigal, a liar. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Said a man of faith from Pharaoh]s clan, who concealed his faith, [Will you kill a man for saying, [[My Lord is Allah,]] while he has already brought you manifest proofs from your Lord? Should he be lying, his falsehood will be to his own detriment; but if he is truthful, there shall visit you some of what he promises you. Indeed Allah does not guide someone who is a transgressor and liar. - Qarai, Ali Quli

A believing person from the people of the Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, [Would you kill a man just because he says God is my Lord? He has brought you illustrious miracles from your Lord. If he speaks lies, it will only harm him, but if he speaks the Truth, some of his warnings may affect you. God does not guide a transgressing liar. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And a believing man of Firon's people who hid his faith said: What! will you slay a man because he says: My Lord is Allah, and indeed he has brought to you clear arguments from your Lord? And if he be a liar, on him will be his lie, and if he be truthful, there will befall you some of that which he threatens you (with); surely Allah does not guide him who is extravagant, a liar: - Shakir, Habib

A believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said, [Would you slay a man merely because he says, [My Lord is God.] He has brought you clear signs from your Lord, and if he is lying, the sin of his will be on his own head; but if he is truthful, a part of that of which he warns you will surely befall you. Certainly, God does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور فرعون والوں میں سے ایک مرد مومن نے جو اپنے ایمان کو حُھپائے ہوئے تھا یہ کہا کہ کیا تم لوگ کسی شخص کو صرف اس بات پر قتل کررہے ہو کہ وہ کہتا ہے کہ میرا پروردگار اللہ ہے اور وہ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے کھلی ہوئی دلیلیں بھی لے کر آیا ہے اور اگر جھوٹا ہے تو اس کے جھوٹ کا عذاب اس کے سر ہوگا اور اگر سچا نکل آیا تو جن باتوں سے ڈرا رہا ہے وہ مصیبتیں تم پر نازل بھی ہوسکتی ہیں - بیشک اللہ کسی زیادتی کرنے والے اور جھوٹے کی رہنمائی نہیں کرتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اس موقع پر آل فرعون میں سے ایک مومن شخص، جو اپنا ایمان چھپائے ہوئے تھا، بول اٹھا: ——کیا تم ایک شخص کو صرف اِس بنا پر قتل کر دو گے کہ وہ کہتا ہے میرا رب اللہ ہے؟ حالانکہ وہ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس بینات لے آیا اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو اس کا جھوٹ خود اسی پر پلٹ پڑے گا لیکن اگر وہ سچا ہے تو جن ہولناک نتائج کا وہ تم کو خوف دلاتا ہے ان میں سے کچھ تو تم پر ضرور ہی آ جائیں گے اللہ کسی شخص کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا جو حد سے گزر جانے والا اور کذاب ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بولا فرعون والوں میں سے ایک مرد مسلمان کہ اپنے ایمان کو چھپاتا تھا کیا ایک مرد کو اس پر مارے ڈالتے ہو کہ وہ کہتا ہے کہ میرا رب اللہ ہے اور بیشک وہ روشن نشانیاں تمہارے پاس تمہارے رب کی طرف سے لائے اور اگر بالفرض وہ غلط کہتے ہیں تو ان کی غلط گوئی کا وبال ان پر، اور اگر وہ سچے ہیں تو تمہیں پہنچ جائے گا کچھ وہ جس کا تمہیں وعدہ دیتے ہیں بیشک اللہ راہ نہیں دیتا اسے جو حد سے بڑھنے والا بڑا جھوٹا ہو - Ahmed Raza

اور فرعون کے خاندان میں سے ایک مردِ مؤمن نے کہا جو اپنے ایمان کو چھپائے رکھتا تھا۔ کیا تم ایک شخص کو صرف اس بات پر قتل کرنا چاہتے ہو کہ وہ کہتا ہے کہ میرا پروردگار اللہ ہے؟ حالانکہ وہ تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس بیّنات (معجزات) لے کر آیا ہے اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو اس کے جھوٹ کا وبال اسی پر پڑے گا اور اگر وہ سچا ہے تو جس (عذاب) کی وہ تمہیں دھمکی دیتا ہے تو اس کا کچھ حصہ تو تمہیں پہنچ کر رہے گا۔ بیشک اللہ اس شخص کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا جو حد سے بڑھنے والا اور بڑا جھوٹا ہو۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

O my people! Yours is the kingdom to-day, ye being uppermost in the land. But who would save us from the wrath of Allah should it reach us? Pharaoh said: I do but show you what I think, and I do but guide you to wise policy. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O my people! yours is the kingdom this day, being masters in the land, but who will help us against the punishment of Allah if it come to us? Firon said: I do not show you aught but that which I see (myself), and I do not make you follow any but the right way. - Shakir, Habib

میری قوم والو بیشک آج تمہارے پاس حکومت ہے اور زمین پر تمہارا غلبہ ہے لیکن اگر عذاب خدا آگیا تو ہمیں اس سے کون بچائے گا فرعون نے کہا کہ میں تمہیں وہی باتیں بتارہا ہوں جو میں خود سمجھ رہا ہوں اور میں تمہیں عقلمندی کے راستے کے علاوہ اور کسی راہ کی ہدایت نہیں کررہا ہوں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے میری قوم! آج بادشاہی تمہاری ہے اس زمین میں غلبہ رکھتے ہو تو اللہ کے عذاب سے ہمیں کون بچالے گا اگر ہم پر آئے فرعون بولا میں تو تمہیں وہی سمجھاتا ہوں جو میری سوجھ ہے اور میں تمہیں وہی بتاتا ہوں جو بھلائی کی راہ ہے، - Ahmed Raza

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّمَّا جَآءَكُم بِهِۦ ۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رَسُولًۭا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌۭ مُّرْتَابٌ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And verily Joseph brought you of old clear proofs, yet ye ceased not to be in doubt concerning what he brought you till, when he died, ye said: Allah will not send any messenger after him. Thus Allah deceiveth him who is a prodigal, a doubter. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly Joseph brought you manifest proofs earlier, but you continued to remain in doubt concerning what he had brought you. When he died, you said, [[Allah will never send any apostle after him.]] That is how Allah leads astray those who are unrestrained and skeptical. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Joseph came to you before with illustrious evidence but you still have doubts about what he brought. When he passed away, you said, [God will never send any Messenger after him.] Thus does God causes to go astray the skeptical transgressing people, - Sarwar, Muhammad

And certainly Yusuf came to you before with clear arguments, but you ever remained in doubt as to what he brought; until when he died, you said: Allah will never raise an apostle after him. Thus does Allah cause him to err who is extravagant, a doubter - Shakir, Habib

Joseph came to you before with clear signs, but you never ceased to doubt the message he brought you. When he died, you said, [God will not send another messenger.]] In this way God leaves the transgressors and doubters to go astray -- - Wahiduddin Khan

اور اس سے پہلے یوسف علیھ السّلام بھی تمہارے پاس آئے تھے تو بھی تم ان کے پیغام کے بارے میں شک ہی میں مبتلا رہے یہاں تک کہ جب وہ دنیا سے چلے گئے تو تم نے یہ کہنا شروع کردیا کہ خدا اس کے بعد کوئی رسول نہیں بھیجے گا - اسی طرح خدا زیادتی کرنے والے اور شکی مزاج انسانوں کو ان کی گمراہی میں چھوڑ دیتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اس سے پہلے یوسفؑ تمہارے پاس بینات لے کر آئے تھے مگر تم اُن کی لائی ہوئی تعلیم کی طرف سے شک ہی میں پڑے رہے پھر جب اُن کا انتقال ہو گیا تو تم نے کہا اب اُن کے بعد اللہ کوئی رسول ہرگز نہ بھیجے گا—— اِسی طرح اللہ اُن سب لوگوں کو گمراہی میں ڈال دیتا ہے جو حد سے گزرنے والے اور شکی ہوتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک اس سے پہلے تمہارے پاس یوسف روشن نشانیاں لے کر آئے تو تم ان کے لائے ہوئے سے شک ہی میں رہے، یہاں تک کہ جب انہوں نے انتقال فرمایا تم بولے ہرگز اب اللہ کوئی رسول نہ بھیجے گا اللہ یونہی گمراہ کرتا ہے اسے جو حد سے بڑھنے والا شک لانے والا ہے - Ahmed Raza

ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ ۖ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍۢ جَبَّارٍۢ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah without any warrant that hath come unto them, it is greatly hateful in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who believe. Thus doth Allah print on every arrogant, disdainful heart. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those who dispute the signs of Allah without any authority that may have come to them—[that is] greatly outrageous to Allah and to those who have faith. That is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The roads of the heavens, and may look upon the god of Moses, though verily I think him a liar. Thus was the evil that he did made fairseeming unto Pharaoh, and he was debarred from the (right) way. The plot of Pharaoh ended but in ruin. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
