وَلَقَدْ
And certainly
أَرْسَلْنَا
We sent
مُوسَىٰ
Moosa
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
with Our signs
وَسُلْطَٰنٍۢ
and authority of
مُّبِينٍ
clarity.
And certainly We sent Moosa with Our signs and authority of clarity.
⦿
And verily We sent Moses with Our revelations and a clear warrant - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Certainly We sent Moses with Our signs and a manifest authority - Qarai, Ali Quli

بیشک ہم نے موسیٰ(ع) کو فرعون، ہامان اور قارون کی طرف اپنی نشانیوں (معجزوں) اور کھلی ہوئی دلیلوں کے ساتھ بھیجا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Towards
فِرْعَوْنَ
Fir'oun
وَهَٰمَٰنَ
and Hamaan
وَقَٰرُونَ
and Qaroon,
فَقَالُوا۟
thus they said,
سَٰحِرٌۭ
[An illusionist
كَذَّابٌۭ
and a liar!]
Towards Fir'oun and Hamaan and Qaroon, thus they said, [An illusionist and a liar!]

Unto Pharaoh and Haman and Korah, but they said: A lying sorcerer! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

to Pharaoh, Haman and Korah, but they said, [A magician and a mendacious liar.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم بِٱلْحَقِّ مِنْ عِندِنَا قَالُوا۟ ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟ أَبْنَآءَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا كَيْدُ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَٰلٍۢ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And when he brought them the Truth from Our presence, they said: Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and spare their women. But the plot of disbelievers is in naught but error. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So when he brought them the truth from Us, they said, [Kill the sons of the faithful who are with him, and spare their women.] But the stratagems of the faithless only go awry. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When We sent him to them for a genuine purpose, they said, [Kill the sons of those who have believed in him but keep their women alive.] The plots of the unbelievers can only result in failure. - Sarwar, Muhammad

So when he brought to them the truth from Us, they said: Slay the sons of those who believe with him and keep their women alive; and the struggle of the unbelievers will only come to a state of perdition. - Shakir, Habib

When he came to them with the truth from Us, they said, [Slay the sons of those who believe with him and spare only their daughters] -- the schemes of those who denied the truth were futile. - Wahiduddin Khan

تو پھر اس کے بعد جب وہ ہماری طرف سے حق لے کر آئے تو ان لوگوں نے کہہ دیا کہ جو ان پر ایمان لے آئیں ان کے لڑکوں کو قتل کردو اور لڑکیوں کو زندہ رکھو اور کافروں کا مکر بہرحال بھٹک جانے والا ہوتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر جب وہ ہماری طرف سے حق ان کے سامنے لے آیا تو انہوں نے کہا ——جو لوگ ایمان لا کر اس کے ساتھ شامل ہوئے ہیں ان سب کے لڑکوں کو قتل کرو اور لڑکیاں کو جیتا چھوڑ دو—— مگر کافروں کی چال اکارت ہی گئی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

پھر جب وہ ان پر ہمارے پاس سے حق لایا بولے جو اس پر ایمان لائے ان کے بیٹے قتل کرو اور عورتیں زندہ رکھو اور کافروں کا داؤ نہیں مگر بھٹکتا پھرتا - Ahmed Raza

سو جب وہ ہماری طرف سے حق لے کر ان کے پاس آئے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ جو لوگ ان کے ساتھ ایمان لائے ہیں ان کے بیٹوں کو قتل کر دو اور ان کی عورتوں (لڑکیوں) کو زندہ چھوڑ دو۔ اور کافروں کی( ہر) تدبیر گمراہی میں (رائیگاں) ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَقَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ ذَرُونِىٓ أَقْتُلْ مُوسَىٰ وَلْيَدْعُ رَبَّهُۥٓ ۖ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُبَدِّلَ دِينَكُمْ أَوْ أَن يُظْهِرَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ٱلْفَسَادَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And Pharaoh said: Suffer me to kill Moses, and let him cry unto his Lord. Lo! I fear that he will alter your religion or that he will cause confusion in the land. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And Pharaoh said, [Let me slay Moses, and let him invoke his Lord. Indeed I fear that he will change your religion, or bring forth corruption in our land.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The Pharaoh said, [Let me kill Moses and let him call for help from his Lord. I am afraid that he will change your religion or spread evil through the land.]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Firon said: Let me alone that I may slay Musa and let him call upon his Lord; surely I fear that he will change your religion or that he will make mischief to appear in the land. - Shakir, Habib

Pharaoh said, [Let me kill Moses, let him call upon his Lord, I fear that he may cause you to change your religion, or that he may cause disorder in the land.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور فرعون نے کہا کہ ذرا مجھے چھوڑ دو میں موسٰی علیھ السّلام کا خاتمہ کردوں اور یہ اپنے رب کو پکاریں - مجھے خوف ہے کہ کہیں یہ تمہارے دین کو بدل نہ دیں اور زمین میں کوئی فساد نہ برپا کردیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ایک روز فرعون نے اپنے درباریوں سے کہا ——چھوڑو مجھے، میں اِس موسیٰؑ کو قتل کیے دیتا ہوں، اور پکار دیکھے یہ اپنے رب کو مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ یہ تمہارا دین بدل ڈالے گا، یا ملک میں فساد برپا کرے گا—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور فرعون بولا مجھے چھوڑو میں موسیٰ کو قتل کروں اور وہ اپنے رب کو پکارے میں ڈرتا ہوں کہیں وہ تمہارا دین بدل دے یا زمین میں فساد چمکائے - Ahmed Raza

اور فرعون نے کہا کہ مجھے چھوڑ دو۔ میں موسیٰ(ع) کو قتل کر دوں اور وہ (اپنی مدد کیلئے) اپنے پرورگار کو پکارے مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ وہ کہیں تمہارا دین (شرک) نہ بدل دے۔ یا زمین میں فساد برپا نہ کر دے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنِّى عُذْتُ بِرَبِّى وَرَبِّكُم مِّن كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّرٍۢ لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Moses said: Lo! I seek refuge in my Lord and your Lord from every scorner who believeth not in a Day of Reckoning. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Moses said, [I seek the protection of my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Moses said, [I seek protection from your and my Lord against every arrogant person who has no faith in the Day of Judgment.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Musa said: Surely I take refuge with my Lord and-- your Lord from every proud one who does not believe in the day of reckoning. - Shakir, Habib

Moses replied, [I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant person who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning.] - Wahiduddin Khan

اور موسٰی علیھ السّلام نے کہا کہ میں اپنے اور تمہارے پروردگار کی پناہ حاصل کررہا ہوں ہر اس متکبر کے مقابلہ میں جس کا روز حساب پر ایمان نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

موسیٰؑ نے کہا ——میں نے تو ہر اُس متکبر کے مقابلے میں جو یَوم الحساب پر ایمان نہیں رکھتا اپنے ر ب اور تمہارے رب کی پناہ لے لی ہے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور موسیٰ نے کہا میں تمہارے اور اپنے رب کی پناہ لیتا ہوں ہر متکبر سے کہ حساب کے دن پر یقین نہیں لاتا - Ahmed Raza

اور موسیٰ(ع) نے کہا کہ میں اپنے اور تمہارے پروردگار سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں جو مجھے ہر اس متکبر (کے شر) سے بچائے جو روزِ حساب (قیامت) پر ایمان نہیں رکھتا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَقَالَ رَجُلٌۭ مُّؤْمِنٌۭ مِّنْ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ إِيمَٰنَهُۥٓ أَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلًا أَن يَقُولَ رَبِّىَ ٱللَّهُ وَقَدْ جَآءَكُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَكُ كَٰذِبًۭا فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُۥ ۖ وَإِن يَكُ صَادِقًۭا يُصِبْكُم بَعْضُ ٱلَّذِى يَعِدُكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌۭ كَذَّابٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And a believing man of Pharaoh's family, who hid his faith, said: Would ye kill a man because he saith: My Lord is Allah, and hath brought you clear proofs from your Lord? If he is lying, then his lie is upon him; and if he is truthful, then some of that wherewith he threateneth you will strike you. Lo! Allah guideth not one who is a prodigal, a liar. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Said a man of faith from Pharaoh]s clan, who concealed his faith, [Will you kill a man for saying, [[My Lord is Allah,]] while he has already brought you manifest proofs from your Lord? Should he be lying, his falsehood will be to his own detriment; but if he is truthful, there shall visit you some of what he promises you. Indeed Allah does not guide someone who is a transgressor and liar. - Qarai, Ali Quli

A believing person from the people of the Pharaoh who concealed his faith said, [Would you kill a man just because he says God is my Lord? He has brought you illustrious miracles from your Lord. If he speaks lies, it will only harm him, but if he speaks the Truth, some of his warnings may affect you. God does not guide a transgressing liar. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And a believing man of Firon's people who hid his faith said: What! will you slay a man because he says: My Lord is Allah, and indeed he has brought to you clear arguments from your Lord? And if he be a liar, on him will be his lie, and if he be truthful, there will befall you some of that which he threatens you (with); surely Allah does not guide him who is extravagant, a liar: - Shakir, Habib

A believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said, [Would you slay a man merely because he says, [My Lord is God.] He has brought you clear signs from your Lord, and if he is lying, the sin of his will be on his own head; but if he is truthful, a part of that of which he warns you will surely befall you. Certainly, God does not guide one who is a transgressor and a liar. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور فرعون والوں میں سے ایک مرد مومن نے جو اپنے ایمان کو حُھپائے ہوئے تھا یہ کہا کہ کیا تم لوگ کسی شخص کو صرف اس بات پر قتل کررہے ہو کہ وہ کہتا ہے کہ میرا پروردگار اللہ ہے اور وہ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے کھلی ہوئی دلیلیں بھی لے کر آیا ہے اور اگر جھوٹا ہے تو اس کے جھوٹ کا عذاب اس کے سر ہوگا اور اگر سچا نکل آیا تو جن باتوں سے ڈرا رہا ہے وہ مصیبتیں تم پر نازل بھی ہوسکتی ہیں - بیشک اللہ کسی زیادتی کرنے والے اور جھوٹے کی رہنمائی نہیں کرتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اس موقع پر آل فرعون میں سے ایک مومن شخص، جو اپنا ایمان چھپائے ہوئے تھا، بول اٹھا: ——کیا تم ایک شخص کو صرف اِس بنا پر قتل کر دو گے کہ وہ کہتا ہے میرا رب اللہ ہے؟ حالانکہ وہ تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس بینات لے آیا اگر وہ جھوٹا ہے تو اس کا جھوٹ خود اسی پر پلٹ پڑے گا لیکن اگر وہ سچا ہے تو جن ہولناک نتائج کا وہ تم کو خوف دلاتا ہے ان میں سے کچھ تو تم پر ضرور ہی آ جائیں گے اللہ کسی شخص کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا جو حد سے گزر جانے والا اور کذاب ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala
