- [ 37:110 ] الصافات

كَذَٰلِكَ

That is how

نَجْزِى

We reward

ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

the good-doers.

٣٧

١١٠

كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

That is how We reward the good-doers.

Thus do We reward the good.

ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو،

ہم اسی طرح نیکوکاروں کو جزا دیتے ہیں۔

إِنَّهُۥ

Certainly he was

مِنْ

from

عِبَادِنَا

Our slaves who are

ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

the sure-ones.

٣٧

١١١

إِنَّهُۥ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Certainly he was from Our slaves who are the sure-ones.

Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves.

وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ

And We gave him good news

بِإِسْحَٰقَ

about Ishaaq,

نَبِيًّۭا

a leader

مِّنَ

from

ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

the constructive-workers.

٣٧

١١٢

وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ بِإِسْحَٰقَ نَبِيًّۭا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

And We gave him good news about Ishaaq, a leader from the constructive-workers.

And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous.

And We gave him the good news of [the birth of] Isaac, a prophet, one of the righteous.

اور ہم نے اسے خوشخبری دی اسحاق کی کہ غیب کی خبریں بتانے والا نبی ہمارے قربِ خاص کے سزاواروں میں

اور ہم نے انہیں اسحاق(ع) کی بشارت دی جو نیک بندوں میں سے نبی ہوں گے۔

- [ 37:113 ] الصافات

وَبَٰرَكْنَا

And We poured blessings

عَلَيْهِ

upon him,

وَعَلَىٰٓ

and upon

إِسْحَٰقَ

Ishaaq;

ۚ

وَمِن

and from

ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا

both their lineages is

مُحْسِنٌۭ

a good-doer,

وَظَالِمٌۭ

and one who does wrong

لِّنَفْسِهِۦ

for his ownself

مُبِينٌۭ

clearly.

٣٧

١١٣

وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ

And We poured blessings upon him, and upon Ishaaq; and from both their lineages is a good-doer, and one who does wrong for his ownself clearly.

And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves.

And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants [some] are virtuous, and [some] who manifestly wrong themselves.

We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves.

And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls.

and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls.

اور ہم نے ان پر اور اسحاق علیھ السّلامپر برکت نازل کی اور ان کی اولاد میں بعض نیک کردار اور بعض کِھلم کِھلا اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والے ہیں

اور اسے اور اسحاقؑ کو برکت دی اب ان دونوں کی ذریّت میں سے کوئی محسن ہے اور کوئی اپنے نفس پر صریح ظلم کرنے والا ہے

اور ہم نے برکت اتاری اس پر اور اسحاق پر اور ان کی اولاد میں کوئی اچھا کام کرنے والا اور کوئی اپنی جان پر صریح ظلم کرنے والا

اور ہم نے انہیں اور اسحاق(ع) کو برکت عطا کی اور ان دونوں کی اولاد میں سے نیوکار بھی ہوں گے اور اپنے نفس پر کھلا ظلم کرنے والے بھی۔

وَلَقَدْ

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ

And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron,

Certainly We favoured Moses and Aaron,

We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron

And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun.

وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا

And We saved them both

وَقَوْمَهُمَا

and their nation

مِنَ

from

ٱلْكَرْبِ

the sorrow that is

ٱلْعَظِيمِ

mighty.

٣٧

١١٥

وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلْكَرْبِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ

And We saved them both and their nation from the sorrow that is mighty.

وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ

And We helped them,

فَكَانُوا۟

thus they became

هُمُ

who were

ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ

the overpowerers.

٣٧

١١٦

وَنَصَرْنَٰهُمْ فَكَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ

And We helped them, thus they became who were the overpowerers.

And helped them so that they became the victors.

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلْمُسْتَبِينَ

And We gave them the clear Scripture

And showed them the right path.

And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation):
