That is how
نَجْزِى
We reward
ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ
the good-doers.
That is how We reward the good-doers.

ہم اسی طرح حَسن عمل والوں کو جزا دیا کرتے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

ہم ایسا ہی صلہ دیتے ہیں نیکوں کو، - Ahmed Raza

ہم اسی طرح نیکوکاروں کو جزا دیتے ہیں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
حسن | beautiful | appealing | better | good
جز ⇐ جزى | make satisfactory payment | remuneration to equate work input | reward | recompense
ذا ⇐ ذلك | that | thereof | though | therefrom
إِنَّهُۥ
Certainly he was
مِنْ
from
عِبَادِنَا
Our slaves who are
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
the sure-ones.
Certainly he was from Our slaves who are the sure-ones.

بیشک وہ ہمارے اعلیٰ درجہ کے کامل الایمان بندوں میں ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

یقیناً وہ ہمارے ایمانداروں میں سے تھے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَبَشَّرْنَٰهُ
And We gave him good news
بِإِسْحَٰقَ
about Ishaaq,
نَبِيًّۭا
a leader
مِّنَ
from
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
the constructive-workers.
And We gave him good news about Ishaaq, a leader from the constructive-workers.
⦿
And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And We gave him the good news of [the birth of] Isaac, a prophet, one of the righteous. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. - Shakir, Habib

We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, - Wahiduddin Khan

اور ہم نے انہیں اسحاق علیھ السّلامکی بشارت دی جو نبی اور نیک بندوں میں سے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور ہم نے اسے اسحاقؑ کی بشارت دی، ایک نبی صالحین میں سے - Maududi, Abul A'ala
⦿
اور ہم نے اسے خوشخبری دی اسحاق کی کہ غیب کی خبریں بتانے والا نبی ہمارے قربِ خاص کے سزاواروں میں - Ahmed Raza
⦿
اور ہم نے انہیں اسحاق(ع) کی بشارت دی جو نیک بندوں میں سے نبی ہوں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَبَٰرَكْنَا
And We poured blessings
عَلَيْهِ
upon him,
وَعَلَىٰٓ
and upon
إِسْحَٰقَ
Ishaaq;
ۚ
وَمِن
and from
ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا
both their lineages is
مُحْسِنٌۭ
a good-doer,
وَظَالِمٌۭ
and one who does wrong
لِّنَفْسِهِۦ
for his ownself
مُبِينٌۭ
clearly.
٣٧
١١٣
وَبَٰرَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَىٰٓ إِسْحَٰقَ ۚ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌۭ وَظَالِمٌۭ لِّنَفْسِهِۦ مُبِينٌۭ And We poured blessings upon him, and upon Ishaaq; and from both their lineages is a good-doer, and one who does wrong for his ownself clearly.

And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants [some] are virtuous, and [some] who manifestly wrong themselves. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. - Shakir, Habib

اور ہم نے ان پر اور اسحاق علیھ السّلامپر برکت نازل کی اور ان کی اولاد میں بعض نیک کردار اور بعض کِھلم کِھلا اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والے ہیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور اسے اور اسحاقؑ کو برکت دی اب ان دونوں کی ذریّت میں سے کوئی محسن ہے اور کوئی اپنے نفس پر صریح ظلم کرنے والا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہم نے برکت اتاری اس پر اور اسحاق پر اور ان کی اولاد میں کوئی اچھا کام کرنے والا اور کوئی اپنی جان پر صریح ظلم کرنے والا - Ahmed Raza

اور ہم نے انہیں اور اسحاق(ع) کو برکت عطا کی اور ان دونوں کی اولاد میں سے نیوکار بھی ہوں گے اور اپنے نفس پر کھلا ظلم کرنے والے بھی۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
