That Allah may reward the true men for their truth, and punish the hypocrites if He will, or relent toward them (if He will). Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَرَدَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ خَيْرًۭا ۚ وَكَفَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلْقِتَالَ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And Allah repulsed the disbelievers in their wrath; they gained no good. Allah averted their attack from the believers. Allah is ever Strong, Mighty. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah sent back the faithless in their rage, without their attaining any advantage, and Allah spared the faithful of fighting, and Allah is all-strong, all-mighty. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God repelled the unbelievers in their rage. They could not achieve anything good. God rendered sufficient support to the believers in fighting. God is All-powerful and Majestic. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Allah turned back the unbelievers in their rage; they did not obtain any advantage, and Allah sufficed the believers in fighting; and Allah is Strong, Mighty. - Shakir, Habib

اللہ نے کفار کا منہ پھیر دیا، وہ کوئی فائدہ حاصل کیے بغیر اپنے دل کی جلن لیے یونہی پلٹ گئے، اور مومنین کی طرف سے اللہ ہی لڑنے کے لیے کافی ہو گیا، اللہ بڑی قوت والا اور زبردست ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اللہ نے کافروں کو ان کے دلوں کی جلن کے ساتھ پلٹایا کہ کچھ بھلا نہ پایا اور اللہ نے مسلمانوں کو لڑائی کی کفایت فرمادی اور اللہ زبردست عزت والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

وَأَنزَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَٰهَرُوهُم مِّنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِن صَيَاصِيهِمْ وَقَذَفَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلرُّعْبَ فَرِيقًۭا تَقْتُلُونَ وَتَأْسِرُونَ فَرِيقًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And He brought those of the People of the Scripture who supported them down from their strongholds, and cast panic into their hearts. Some ye slew, and ye made captive some. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And He dragged down from their strongholds those who had backed them from among the People of the Book, and He cast terror into their hearts, [so that] you killed a part of them, and took captive [another] part. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God brought down those among the People of the Book who had supported the confederate tribes from their castles and struck their hearts with terror. You did away with some of them and captured the others. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And He drove down those of the followers of the Book who backed them from their fortresses and He cast awe into their hearts; some you killed and you took captive another part. - Shakir, Habib

He brought down from their strongholds those People of the Book who supported the aggressors and filled their hearts with terror. Some of them you killed and others you took captive. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور اس نے کفار کی پشت پناہی کرنے والے اہل کتاب کو ان کے قلعوں سے نیچے اتار دیا اور ان کے دلوں میں ایسا رعب ڈال دیا کہ تم ان میں سے کچھ کو قتل کررہے تھے اور کچھ کو قیدی بنارہے تھے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

پھر اہل کتاب میں سے جن لوگوں نے ان حملہ آوروں کا ساتھ دیا تھا، اللہ ان کی گڑھیوں سے انہیں اتار لایا اور اُن کے دلوں میں اُس نے ایسا رُعب ڈال دیا کہ آج ان میں سے ایک گروہ کو تم قتل کر رہے ہو اور دوسرے گروہ کو قید کر رہے ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَأَوْرَثَكُمْ أَرْضَهُمْ وَدِيَٰرَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُمْ وَأَرْضًۭا لَّمْ تَطَـُٔوهَا ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And He caused you to inherit their land and their houses and their wealth, and land ye have not trodden. Allah is ever Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ إِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا فَتَعَالَيْنَ أُمَتِّعْكُنَّ وَأُسَرِّحْكُنَّ سَرَاحًۭا جَمِيلًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

O Prophet! Say unto thy wives: If ye desire the world's life and its adornment, come! I will content you and will release you with a fair release. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O Prophet! Say to your wives, [If you desire the life of the world and its glitter, come, I will provide for you and release you in a graceful manner. - Qarai, Ali Quli

وَإِن كُنتُنَّ تُرِدْنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ وَٱلدَّارَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَعَدَّ لِلْمُحْسِنَٰتِ مِنكُنَّ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

But if ye desire Allah and His messenger and the abode of the Hereafter, then lo! Allah hath prepared for the good among you an immense reward. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O ye wives of the Prophet! Whosoever of you committeth manifest lewdness, the punishment for her will be doubled, and that is easy for Allah. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O ye wives of the Prophet! Ye are not like any other women. If ye keep your duty (to Allah), then be not soft of speech, lest he in whose heart is a disease aspire (to you), but utter customary speech. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And stay in your houses. Bedizen not yourselves with the bedizenment of the Time of Ignorance. Be regular in prayer, and pay the poor-due, and obey Allah and His messenger. Allah's wish is but to remove uncleanness far from you, O Folk of the Household, and cleanse you with a thorough cleansing. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Stay in your houses and do not flaunt your finery like the former [days of pagan] ignorance. Maintain the prayer and pay the zakat, and obey Allah and His Apostle. اور اپنے گھروں میں ٹھہری رہو اور بے پردہ نہ رہو جیسے اگلی جاہلیت کی بے پردگی اور نماز قائم رکھو اور زکوٰة دو اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا حکم مانو ا لله تو یہی چاہتا ہے، اے نبی کے گھر والو! کہ تم سے ہر ناپاکی دور فرما دے اور تمہیں پاک کرکے خوب ستھرا کردے - Ahmed Raza
