وَمِنْ

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

وَٱلْأَرْضِ

وَٱخْتِلَٰفُ

أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ

وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ

إِنَّ

فِى

ذَٰلِكَ

لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ

لِّلْعَٰلِمِينَ

٣٠

٢٢

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ خَلْقُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱخْتِلَٰفُ أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَلْوَٰنِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّلْعَٰلِمِينَ

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Lo! herein indeed are portents for men of knowledge.

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبْتِغَآؤُكُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَسْمَعُونَ

⦿

And of His signs is your slumber by night and by day, and your seeking of His bounty. Lo! herein indeed are portents for folk who heed.

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ يُرِيكُمُ ٱلْبَرْقَ خَوْفًۭا وَطَمَعًۭا وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَيُحْىِۦ بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ

⦿

And of His signs is this: He showeth you the lightning for a fear and for a hope, and sendeth down water from the sky, and thereby quickeneth the earth after her death. Lo! herein indeed are portents for folk who understand.

And of His signs is that He shows you the lightning, arousing fear and hope, and He sends down water from the sky, and with it revives the earth after its death. There are indeed signs in that for people who exercise their reason.

اور اُس کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ ہے کہ وہ تمہیں بجلی کی چمک دکھاتا ہے خوف کے ساتھ بھی اور طمع کے ساتھ بھی اور آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے، پھر اس کے ذریعہ سے زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد زندگی بخشتا ہے یقیناً اِس میں بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو عقل سے کام لیتے ہیں

اور اس کی نشانیوں سے ہے کہ تمہیں بجلی دکھاتا ہے ڈراتی اور امید دلاتی اور آسمان سے پانی اتارتا ہے، تو اس سے زمین کو زندہ کرتا ہے اس کے مرے پیچھے، بیشک اس میں نشانیاں ہیں عقل والوں کے لیے

اور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ بھی ہے کہ وہ تمہیں ڈرانے اور امید دلانے کے لئے بجلی دکھاتا ہے اور آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے پھر اس کے ذریعہ سے زمین کو اس کی موت (خشکی) کے بعد زندہ (شاداب) کر دیتا ہے۔ بے شک اس میں عقل سے کام لینے والے لوگوں کیلئے بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں۔

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن تَقُومَ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ ۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ دَعْوَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ إِذَآ أَنتُمْ تَخْرُجُونَ

And of His signs is this: The heavens and the earth stand fast by His command, and afterward, when He calleth you, lo! from the earth ye will emerge.

And of His signs is that the sky and the earth stand by His command, and then, when He calls you forth from the earth, behold, you will come forth.

Some other evidence of His existence is that both the heavens and the earth stand firm at His command. When He will call you from the earth, you will start to come out.

Unto Him belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and the earth. All are obedient unto Him.

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ ۚ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَثَلُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

He it is Who produceth creation, then reproduceth it, and it is easier for Him. His is the Sublime Similitude in the heavens and the earth. He is the Mighty, the Wise.

It is He who originates the creation, and then He will bring it back—and that is more simple for Him. His is the loftiest description in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-mighty, the All-wise.

وہی ہے جو تخلیق کی ابتدا کرتا ہے، پھر وہی اس کا اعادہ کرے گا اور یہ اس کے لیے آسان تر ہے آسمانوں اور زمین میں اس کی صفت سب سے برتر ہے اور وہ زبردست اور حکیم ہے

اور وہی ہے کہ اول بنا تا ہے پھر اسے دوبارہ بنائے گا اور یہ تمہاری سمجھ میں اس پر زیا دہ آسان ہونا چاہیے اور اسی کے لیے ہے سب سے برتر شان آسمانوں اور زمین میں اور وہی عزت و حکمت والا ہے،

لِقَوْمٍۢ

يَعْقِلُونَ

٢٨

ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلًۭا مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَآءَ فِى مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ فَأَنتُمْ فِيهِ سَوَآءٌۭ تَخَافُونَهُمْ كَخِيفَتِكُمْ أَنفُسَكُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ

⦿

He coineth for you a similitude of yourselves. Have ye, from among those whom your right hands possess, partners in the wealth We have bestowed upon you, equal with you in respect thereof, so that ye fear them as ye fear each other (that ye ascribe unto Us partners out of that which We created)? Thus We display the revelations for people who have sense.

He draws for you an example from yourselves: Do you have among your slaves any partners [who may share] in what We have provided you, so that you are equal in its respect, and you revere them as you revere one another? Thus do We elaborate the signs for people who exercise their reason.

God has told you this parable about yourselves: Could your slaves share your wealth equally with you and could you fear them as you fear yourselves? Thus, do We clarify the evidence (of the truth) for the people of understanding.

He sets forth to you a parable relating to yourselves: Have you among those whom your right hands possess partners in what We have given you for sustenance, so that with respect to it you are alike; you fear them as you fear each other? Thus do We make the communications distinct for a people who understand.

اس نے تمہارے لئے تمہاری ہی مثال بیان کی ہے کہ جو رزق ہم نے تم کو عطا کیا ہے کیا اس میں تمہارے مملوک غلام و کنیز میں کوئی تمہارا شریک ہے کہ تم سب برابر ہوجاؤ اور تمہیں ان کا خوف اسی طرح ہو جس طرح اپنے نفوس کے بارے میں خوف ہوتا ہے ...._ بیشک ہم اپنی نشانیوں کو صاحب هعقل قوم کے لئے اسی طرح واضح کرکے بیان کرتے ہیں

وہ تمہیں خود تمہاری اپنی ہی ذات سے ایک مثال دیتا ہے کیا تمہارے اُن غلاموں میں سے جو تمہاری ملکیت میں ہیں کچھ غلام ایسے بھی ہیں جو ہمارے دیے ہوئے مال و دولت میں تمہارے ساتھ برابر کے شریک ہوں اور تم اُن سے اُس طرح ڈرتے ہو جس طرح آپس میں اپنے ہمسروں سے ڈرتے ہو؟ اس طرح ہم آیات کھول کر پیش کرتے ہیں اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو عقل سے کام لیتے ہیں

Nay, but those who do wrong follow their own lusts without knowledge. Who is able to guide him whom Allah hath sent astray? For such there are no helpers.

So set thy purpose (O Muhammad) for religion as a man by nature upright - the nature (framed) of Allah, in which He hath created man. There is no altering (the laws of) Allah's creation. That is the right religion, but most men know not -

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.
