Do not
يَغُرَّنَّكَ
let delude you
تَقَلُّبُ
movement of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial
فِى
in
ٱلْبِلَٰدِ
the city.
Do not let delude you movement of the ones who are in denial in the city.
⦿
Let not the vicissitude (of the success) of those who disbelieve, in the land, deceive thee (O Muhammad). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Never be misled by the bustle of the faithless in the towns. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), do not be deceived by the changing activities of the unbelievers in different parts of the land. - Sarwar, Muhammad

خبردار تمہیں کفّار کا شہر شہر چکر لگانا دھوکہ میں نہ ڈال دے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے نبیؐ! دنیا کے ملکوں میں خدا کے نافرمان لوگوں کی چلت پھرت تمہیں کسی دھوکے میں نہ ڈالے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے سننے والے! کافروں کا شہروں میں اہلے گہلے پھرنا ہرگز تجھے دھوکا نہ دے - Ahmed Raza

مَتَٰعٌۭ
Enjoyment of
قَلِيلٌۭ
a little,
ثُمَّ
then
مَأْوَىٰهُمْ
their refuge is
جَهَنَّمُ
hell;
ۚ
وَبِئْسَ
and evil is
ٱلْمِهَادُ
that resting place.
Enjoyment of a little, then their refuge is hell; and evil is that resting place.

It is but a brief comfort. And afterward their habitation will be hell, an ill abode. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

لَٰكِنِ
But for
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ٱتَّقَوْا۟
are aware of
رَبَّهُمْ
their Rabb
لَهُمْ
for them are
جَنَّٰتٌۭ
gardens,
تَجْرِى
flowing
مِن
from
تَحْتِهَا
beneath them
ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ
the streams,
خَٰلِدِينَ
eternalized
فِيهَا
there in,
نُزُلًۭا
a hospitality
مِّنْ
from
عِندِ
nearing
ٱللَّهِ
the One;
ۗ
وَمَا
and that which is
عِندَ
nearing
ٱللَّهِ
the One is
خَيْرٌۭ
better
لِّلْأَبْرَارِ
for the righteous.
٣
١٩٨
لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوْا۟ رَبَّهُمْ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلًۭا مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌۭ لِّلْأَبْرَارِ But for the ones who are aware of their Rabb for them are gardens, flowing from beneath them the streams, eternalized there in, a hospitality from nearing the One; and that which is nearing the One is better for the righteous.

But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will be safe for ever. A gift of welcome from their Lord. That which Allah hath in store is better for the righteous. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
But those who are wary of their Lord—for them shall be gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever], a hospitality from Allah; and what is with Allah is better for the pious. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
For those who have fear of their Lord, there will be gardens wherein streams flow and they will live therein forever as a gift from their Lord. God has the best reward for the virtuous people. - Sarwar, Muhammad

But as to those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding in them; an entertainment from their Lord, and that which is with Allah is best for the righteous. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Those who fear their Lord shall have gardens through which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever: and a goodly welcome from their Lord. God's recompense is best for the virtuous. - Wahiduddin Khan

لیکن جن لوگوں نے تقوٰی الٰہی اختیار کیا ان کے لئے وہ باغات ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی- خدا کی طرف سے یہ سامانِ ضیافت ہے اور جو کچھ اس کے پاس ہے سب نیک افراد کے لئے خیر ہی خیرہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

برعکس اس کے جو لوگ اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہوئے زندگی بسر کرتے ہیں ان کے لیے ایسے باغ ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں، ان باغوں میں وہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے، اللہ کی طرف سے یہ سامان ضیافت ہے ان کے لیے، اور جو کچھ اللہ کے پاس ہے نیک لوگوں کے لیے وہی سب سے بہتر ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

لیکن وہ جو اپنے رب سے ڈرتے ہیں ان کے لئے جنتیں ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہیں ہمیشہ ان میں رہیں اللہ کی طرف کی، مہمانی اور جو اللہ پاس ہے وہ نیکوں کے لئے سب سے بھلا - Ahmed Raza

مگر وہ لوگ جنہوں نے تقویٰ اختیار کیا (واجبات ادا کئے اور محرمات سے اجتناب کیا) ان کے لیے ایسے بہشت ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہیں وہ ان میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے یہ اللہ کی طرف سے ان کی مہمان نوازی ہوگی اور جو کچھ اس کے پاس ہے وہ نیکوکاروں کے لیے بہت اچھا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَإِنَّ
And it is such, that
مِنْ
from
أَهْلِ
holders of
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
the Book
لَمَن
are those who
يُؤْمِنُ
are convinced
بِٱللَّهِ
regarding the One,
وَمَآ
and what
أُنزِلَ
has been sent down
إِلَيْكُمْ
to you all,
وَمَآ
and what
أُنزِلَ
has been sent down
إِلَيْهِمْ
to them,
خَٰشِعِينَ
being humble
لِلَّهِ
for the One;
لَا
not
يَشْتَرُونَ
they trade
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
with signs of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
ثَمَنًۭا
a price
قَلِيلًا
that is little;
ۗ
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
those are
لَهُمْ
for whom
أَجْرُهُمْ
their reward is
عِندَ
from
رَبِّهِمْ
their Rabb;
ۗ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
سَرِيعُ
swift of
ٱلْحِسَابِ
the reckoning.
٣
١٩٩
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَمَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ خَٰشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشْتَرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًا ۗ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلْحِسَابِ And it is such, that from holders of the Book are those who are convinced regarding the One, and what has been sent down to you all, and what has been sent down to them, being humble for the One; not they trade with signs of the One a price that is little; those are for whom their reward is from their Rabb; surely the One is swift of the reckoning.

And lo! of the People of the Scripture there are some who believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto you and that which was revealed unto them, humbling themselves before Allah. They purchase not a trifling gain at the price of the revelations of Allah. Verily their reward is with their Lord. Lo! Allah is swift to take account. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed among the People of the Book there are some who have faith in Allah and in what has been sent down to you, and in what has been sent down to them. Humble toward Allah, they do not sell the signs of Allah for a paltry gain. They shall have their reward near their Lord; indeed Allah is swift at reckoning. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
There are some among the People of the Book who believe in God and what is revealed to you and to them. They are humble before God and do not trade God's revelations for a small price. They will receive their reward from their Lord. God's reckoning is swift. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And most surely of the followers of the Book there are those who believe in Allah and (in) that which has been revealed to you and (in) that which has been revealed to them, being lowly before Allah; they do not take a small price for the communications of Allah; these it is that have their reward with their Lord; surely Allah is quick in reckoning. - Shakir, Habib

Some of the People of the Book believe in God, and in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed to them. They humble themselves before God and do not sell God's revelations for a trifling price. These shall be rewarded by their Lord: God is swift in reckoning! - Wahiduddin Khan

اہلِ کتاب میں وہ لوگ بھی ہیں جو اللہ پر اور جو کچھ تمہاری طرف نازل ہوا ہے اور جو اُن کی طرف نازل ہوا ہے سب پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں- اللہ کے سامنے سر جھکائے ہوئے ہیں- آیااُ خدا حقیرسی قیمت پر فروخت نہیں کرتے- ان کے لئے پروردگار کے یہاں ان کا اجر ہے اور خدا بہت جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اہل کتاب میں بھی کچھ لوگ ایسے ہیں جو اللہ کو مانتے ہیں، اس کتاب پر ایمان لاتے ہیں جو تمہاری طرف بھیجی گئی ہے اوراُس کتاب پربھی ایمان رکھتے ہیں جو اس سے پہلے خود ان کی طرف بھیجی گئی تھی، اللہ کے آگے جھکے ہوئے ہیں، اور اللہ کی آیات کو تھوڑی سی قیمت پر بیچ نہیں دیتے ان کا اجر ان کے رب کے پاس ہے اور اللہ حساب چکانے میں دیر نہیں لگاتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور بیشک کچھ کتابیں ایسے ہیں کہ اللہ پر ایمان لاتے ہیں اور اس پر جو تمہاری طرف اترا اور جو ان کی طرف اترا ان کے دل اللہ کے حضور جھکے ہوئے اللہ کی آیتوں کے بدلے ذلیل دام نہیں لیتے یہ وہ ہیں، جن کا ثواب ان کے رب کے پاس ہے اور اللہ جلد حساب کرنے والا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

اور یقیناً اہل کتاب میں سے کچھ ایسے ہیں جو اللہ پر اور ان باتوں پر جو ہماری طرف اور جو ان کی طرف اتاری گئی ہیں پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اللہ کے سامنے (نیازمندی سے) جھکے ہوئے ہیں اور آیاتِ الٰہیہ کو تھوڑی قیمت پر فروخت بھی نہیں کرتے یہ وہ ہیں جن کا اجر اپنے پروردگار کے پاس ہے بے شک اللہ بہت جلد حساب لینے والا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones of
ءَامَنُوا۟
conviction!
ٱصْبِرُوا۟
Persevere
وَصَابِرُوا۟
and endure
وَرَابِطُوا۟
and be united,
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
and take heed of
ٱللَّهَ
the One,
لَعَلَّكُمْ
that perhaps you
تُفْلِحُونَ
be successful.

٢٠٠
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱصْبِرُوا۟ وَصَابِرُوا۟ وَرَابِطُوا۟ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ O you of the ones of conviction! Persevere and endure and be united, and take heed of the One, that perhaps you be successful.

O ye who believe! Endure, outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that ye may succeed. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Be patient, stand firm, and close [your] ranks, and be wary of Allah so that you may be felicitous. - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Believers, have patience, help each other with patience, establish good relations with one another, and have fear of God so that you may have everlasting happiness. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
O you who believe! be patient and excel in patience and remain steadfast, and be careful of (your duty to) Allah, that you may be successful. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Believers, endure, vie with each other in endurance, stand firm in your faith and fear God, so that you may succeed. - Wahiduddin Khan

اے ایمان والو صبر کرو.صبر کی تعلیم دو.جہاد کے لئے تیاری کرو اور اللہ سے ڈرو شاید تم فلاح یافتہ اور کامیاب ہوجاؤ - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو، صبر سے کام لو، باطل پرستوں کے مقابلہ میں پا مردی دکھاؤ، حق کی خدمت کے لیے کمر بستہ رہو، اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو، امید ہے کہ فلاح پاؤ گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اے ایمان والو! صبر کرو اور صبر میں دشمنوں سے آگے رہو اور سرحد پر اسلامی ملک کی نگہبانی کرو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اس امید پر کہ کامیاب ہو، - Ahmed Raza

اے ایمان والو! صبر و تحمل سے کام لو۔ اور (کفار کے) مقابلہ میں پامردی دکھاؤ۔ اور (خدمت دین کے لیے) کمربستہ رہو۔ تاکہ تم فوز و فلاح پاؤ (اور دنیا و آخرت میں کامیاب ہو جاؤ)۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
