وَلَا

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا نُمْلِى لَهُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِى لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُوٓا۟ إِثْمًۭا ۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ مُّهِينٌۭ

⦿

And let not those who disbelieve imagine that the rein We give them bodeth good unto their souls. We only give them rein that they may grow in sinfulness. And theirs will be a shameful doom.

Let the faithless not suppose that the respite that We grant them is good for their souls: We give them respite only that they may increase in sin, and there is a humiliating punishment for them.

The unbelievers must not think that Our respite is for their good. We only give them time to let them increase their sins. For them there will be a humiliating torment.

یہ ڈھیل جو ہم انہیں دیے جاتے ہیں اس کو یہ کافر اپنے حق میں بہتری نہ سمجھیں، ہم تو انہیں اس لیے ڈھیل دے رہے ہیں کہ یہ خوب بار گناہ سمیٹ لیں، پھر اُن کے لیے سخت ذلیل کرنے والی سزا ہے

اور ہرگز کافر اس گمان میں نہ رہیں کہ وہ جو ہم انہیں ڈھیل دیتے ہیں کچھ ان کے لئے بھلا ہے، ہم تو اسی لئے انہیں ڈھیل دیتے ہیں کہ اور گناہ میں بڑھیں اور ان کے لئے ذلت کا عذاب ہے،

مَّا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَذَرَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّىٰ يَمِيزَ ٱلْخَبِيثَ مِنَ ٱلطَّيِّبِ ۗ وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْغَيْبِ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْتَبِى مِن رُّسُلِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦ ۚ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَلَكُمْ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌۭ

⦿

It is not (the purpose) of Allah to leave you in your present state till He shall separate the wicked from the good. And it is not (the purpose of) Allah to let you know the Unseen. But Allah chooseth of His messengers whom He will, (to receive knowledge thereof). So believe in Allah and His messengers. If ye believe and ward off (evil), yours will be a vast reward.

Allah will not leave the faithful in your present state, until He has separated the bad ones from the good. Allah will not acquaint you with the Unseen, but Allah chooses whomever He wishes from His apostles. So have faith in Allah and His apostles; and if you are faithful and Godwary, there shall be a great reward for you.

God left the believers in their existing state for no other reason than to distinguish the evil-doers from the virtuous ones. God does not inform you of the unseen. He chooses for such information anyone of His Messengers that He wants. Have faith in God and in His Messengers. If you have faith and are pious, there will be a great reward for you.

On no account will Allah leave the believers in the condition which you are in until He separates the evil from the good; nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the unseen, but Allah chooses of His apostles whom He pleases; therefore believe in Allah and His apostles; and if you believe and guard (against evil), then you shall have a great reward.

خدا صاحبان هایمان کو ان ہی حالات میں نہیں چھوڑ سکتا جب تک خبیث اور طیّب کو الگ الگ نہ کردے اور وہ تم کو غیب پر مطلع بھی نہیں کرنا چاہتا ہاں اپنے نمائندوں میں سے کچھ لوگوں کو اس کام کے لئے منتخب کرلیتا ہے لہذا تم خدا اور رسول پر ایمان رکھو اور اگر ایمان و تقوٰی اختیار کرو گے تو تمہارے لئے اجر عظیم ہے

اللہ مومنوں کو اس حالت میں ہرگز نہ رہنے دے گا جس میں تم اس وقت پائے جاتے ہو وہ پاک لوگوں کو ناپاک لوگوں سے الگ کر کے رہے گا مگر اللہ کا یہ طریقہ نہیں ہے کہ تم کو غیب پر مطلع کر دے غیب کی باتیں بتانے کے لیے تو وہ اپنے رسولوں میں جس کو چاہتا ہے منتخب کر لیتا ہے لہٰذا (امور غیب کے بارے میں) اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان رکھو اگر تم ایمان اور خدا ترسی کی روش پر چلو گے تو تم کو بڑا اجر ملے گا

اللہ مسلمانوں کو اس حال پر چھوڑنے کا نہیں جس پر تم ہو جب تک جدا نہ کردے گندے کو ستھرے سے اور اللہ کی شان یہ نہیں کہ اے عام لوگو! تمہیں غیب کا علم دے دے ہاں اللہ چن لیتا ہے اپنے رسولوں سے جسے چاہے تو ایمان لاؤ اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر اور اگر ایمان لاؤ اور پرہیزگاری کرو تو تمہارے لئے بڑا ثواب ہے،

اللہ مؤمنوں کو اس حال پر نہیں چھوڑے گا جس حال پر تم اب ہو۔ جب تک وہ ناپاک کو پاک سے الگ نہ کر دے اور اللہ کی یہ شان نہیں ہے کہ تمہیں غیب پر مطلع کرے۔ البتہ اللہ (غیب کی باتیں بتانے کے لیے) اپنے رسولوں میں سے جسے چاہتا ہے منتخب کرتا ہے۔ سو تم اللہ اور اس کے رسولوں پر ایمان لاؤ۔ اور اگر تم ایمان لاؤ۔ اور پرہیزگاری اختیار کرو تو تمہارے لئے بڑا اجر و ثواب ہے۔

وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ هُوَ خَيْرًۭا لَّهُم ۖ بَلْ هُوَ شَرٌّۭ لَّهُمْ ۖ سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌۭ

⦿

And let not those who hoard up that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His bounty think that it is better for them. Nay, it is worse for them. That which they hoard will be their collar on the Day of Resurrection. Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Informed of what ye do.

Let the stingy not suppose that [their grudging] what Allah has given them out of His bounty is good for them; no, it is bad for them. They will be collared with what they grudge on the Day of Resurrection. To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is well aware of what you do.

Those who are avaricious of the favors that God has given them should not think that this is good for them. Avarice is evil and whatever they are avaricious about will be tied to their necks on the Day of Judgment. To God belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. God is Well Aware of what you do.

And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His grace, that it is good for them; nay, it is worse for them; they shall have that whereof they were niggardly made to cleave to their necks on the resurrection day; and Allah's is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is aware of what you do.

Let not those who are niggardly with what God has granted them out of His bounty think that it is good for them. Indeed, it is evil for them. What they are niggardly about shall be hung about their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection. It is God who will inherit the heavens and the earth: God is aware of all that you do.

اور خبردار جو لوگ خدا کے دیئے ہوئے میں بخل کرتے ہیں ان کے بارے میں یہ نہ سوچنا کہ اس بخل میں کچھ بھلائی ہے- یہ بہت اِرا ہے اور عنقریب جس مال میں بخل کیا ہے وہ روزِ قیامت ان کی گردن میں طوق بنا دیا جائے گا اور اللہ ہی کے لئے زمین و آسمان کی ملکیت ہے اور وہ تمہارے اعمال سے خوب باخبر ہے

جن لوگوں کو اللہ نے اپنے فضل سے نوازا ہے اور پھر وہ بخل سے کام لیتے ہیں وہ اس خیال میں نہ رہیں کہ یہ بخیلی ان کے لیے اچھی ہے نہیں، یہ ان کے حق میں نہایت بری ہے جو کچھ وہ اپنی کنجوسی سے جمع کر رہے ہیں وہی قیامت کے روز ان کے گلے کا طوق بن جائے گا زمین اور آسمانوں کی میراث اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے اور تم جو کچھ کرتے ہو اللہ اس سے باخبر ہے

اور جو بخل کرتے ہیں اس چیز میں جو اللہ نے انہیں اپنے فضل سے دی ہرگز اسے اپنے لئے اچھا نہ سمجھیں بلکہ وہ ان کے لئے برا ہے، عنقریب وہ جس میں بخل کیا تھا قیامت کے دن ان کے گلے کا طوق ہوگا اور اللہ ہی وارث ہے آسمانوں اور زمین کا اور اللہ تمہارے کاموں سے خبردار ہے،

اور جن لوگوں کو اللہ نے اپنے فضل و کرم سے (بہت کچھ) دے رکھا ہے۔ اور وہ بخل کرتے ہیں وہ ہرگز یہ خیال نہ کریں کہ یہ (بخل) ان کے لیے اچھا ہے بلکہ یہ ان کے لیے بہت برا ہے۔ عنقریب قیامت کے دن اس مال کا طوق انہیں پہنایا جائے گا جس میں وہ بخل کر رہے ہیں۔ اور آسمانوں اور زمین کی میراث اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے اور جو کچھ تم کرتے ہو اللہ اس سے خوب خبردار ہے ۔

لَّقَدْ سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ قَوْلَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ فَقِيرٌۭ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَآءُ ۘ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُوا۟ وَقَتْلَهُمُ ٱلْأَنۢبِيَآءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّۢ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ

Verily Allah heard the saying of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): [Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich!] We shall record their saying with their slaying of the prophets wrongfully and We shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning!

Allah has certainly heard the remark of those who said, [Allah is poor and we are rich.] We will record what they have said, and their killing of the prophets unjustly, and We shall say, [Taste the punishment of the burning.

God certainly has heard the words of those who said, [God is poor and we are wealthy]. We shall write down what they have said and their murder of the Prophets without reason and We shall tell them to suffer the burning torment.

Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: Surely Allah is poor and we are rich. I will record what they say, and their killing the prophets unjustly, and I will say: Taste the chastisement of burning.

اللہ نے ان کی بات کوبھی سن لیا ہے جن کا کہنا ہے کہ خدا فقیر ہے اور ہم مالدار ہیں- ہم ان کی اس مہمل بات کو اور ان کے انبیائ کے ناحق قتل کرنے کو لکھ رہے ہیں اور انجام کار ان سے کہیں گے کہ اب جہّنم کا مزا چکھو

اللہ نے اُن لوگوں کا قول سنا جو کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ فقیر ہے اور ہم غنی ہیں ان کی یہ باتیں بھی ہم لکھ لیں گے، اور اس سے پہلے جو وہ پیغمبروں کو ناحق قتل کرتے رہے ہیں وہ بھی ان کے نامہ اعمال میں ثبت ہے (جب فیصلہ کا وقت آئے گا اُس وقت) ہم ان سے کہیں گے کہ لو، اب عذاب جہنم کا مزا چکھو

بیشک اللہ نے سنا جنہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ محتاج ہے اور ہم غنی اور ہم غنی اب ہم لکھ رکھیں گے ان کا کہا اور انبیاء کو ان کا ناحق شہید کرنا اور فرمائیں گے کہ چکھو آگ کا عذاب،

بے شک اللہ نے ان لوگوں (یہودیوں) کا قول سن لیا ہے جنہوں نے کہا کہ خدا مفلس ہے اور ہم مالدار ہیں سو ان کی یہ باتیں ہم لکھ لیں گے نیز ان کا نبیوں کو ناحق قتل کرنا بھی لکھ لیں گے۔ اور (فیصلے کے وقت) ہم ان سے کہیں گے کہ اب آتش دوزخ کا مزہ چکھو۔

ذَٰلِكَ

That is

بِمَا

due to what

قَدَّمَتْ

have put forth

أَيْدِيكُمْ

their hands

وَأَنَّ

and certainly

ٱللَّهَ

the One

لَيْسَ

is not

بِظَلَّامٍۢ

with unfairness

لِّلْعَبِيدِ

for His slaves.

١٨٢

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍۢ لِّلْعَبِيدِ

That is due to what have put forth their hands and certainly the One is not with unfairness for His slaves.

This is on account of that which your own hands have sent before (you to the judgment). Allah is no oppressor of (His) bondmen.

قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ

١٨٣

ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَآ أَلَّا نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍۢ تَأْكُلُهُ ٱلنَّارُ ۗ قُلْ قَدْ جَآءَكُمْ رُسُلٌۭ مِّن قَبْلِى بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلَّذِى قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

(The same are) those who say: Lo! Allah hath charged us that we believe not in any messenger until he bring us an offering which fire (from heaven) shall devour. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Messengers came unto you before me with miracles, and with that (very miracle) which ye describe. Why then did ye slay them? (Answer that) if ye are truthful!

Tell those who say, [Allah has pledged us not to believe in any apostle unless he brings us an offering consumed by fire,] [Apostles before me certainly did bring you manifest signs and what you speak of. Then why did you kill them, if you are truthful?]

(Muhammad), say to those who say, 'God has commanded us not to believe any Messenger unless he offers a burnt offering,' (Muhammad) say, [Messengers came to you before me with certain miracles and with that which you had asked for (burnt offering). Why, then, did you slay them if you were true in your claim?]

(Those are they) who said: Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any apostle until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes. Say: Indeed, there came to you apostles before me with clear arguments and with that which you demand; why then did you kill them if you are truthful?

جو لوگ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے ہم سے عہد لیا ہے کہ ہم اس وقت تک کسی رسول پر ایمان نہ لائیں جب تک وہ ایسی قربانی پیش نہ کرے جسے آسمانی آگ کھا جائے تو ان سے کہہ دیجئے کہ مجھ سے پہلے بہت سے رسول معجزات اور تمہاری فرمائش کے مطابق صداقت کی نشانی لے آئے پھر تم نے انہیں کیوں قتل کردیا اگر تم اپنی بات میں سچےّ ہو

جو لوگ کہتے ہیں ——اللہ نے ہم کو ہدایت کر دی ہے کہ ہم کسی کو رسول تسلیم نہ کریں جب تک وہ ہمارے سامنے ایسی قربانی نہ کرے جسے (غیب سے آکر) آگ کھا لے ——، اُن سے کہو، ——تمہارے پاس مجھ سے پہلے بہت سے رسول آ چکے ہیں جو بہت سی روشن نشانیاں لائے تھے اور وہ نشانی بھی لائے تھے جس کا تم ذکر کرتے ہو، پھر اگر (ایمان لانے کے لیے یہ شرط پیش کرنے میں) تم سچے ہو تو اُن رسولوں کو تم نے کیوں قتل کیا؟——

وہ جو کہتے ہیں اللہ نے ہم سے اقرار کر لیا ہے کہ ہم کسی رسول پر ایمان نہ لائیں جب تک ایسی قربانی کا حکم نہ لائے جس آ گ کھائے تم فرمادو مجھ سے پہلے بہت رسول تمہارے پاس کھلی نشانیاں اور یہ حکم لے کر آئے جو تم کہتے ہو پھر تم نے انہیں کیوں شہید کیا اگر سچے ہو

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ نے ہم سے عہد و اقرار لیا ہے کہ ہم اس وقت تک کسی رسول پر ایمان نہ لائیں۔ جب تک وہ ہمارے سامنے ایسی قربانی پیش نہ کرے جسے (غیبی) آگ آکر کھا لے۔ ان سے کہیئے۔ مجھ سے پہلے تمہارے پاس بہت سے رسول(ص) روشن نشانیاں (معجزے) لے کر اور وہ (نشانی) بھی جو تم کہتے ہو لے کر آئے۔ تو اگر تم (اس شرط میں) سچے ہو تو تم نے ان کو کیوں قتل کیا تھا؟ ۔

And if they deny thee, even so did they deny messengers who were before thee, who came with miracles and with the Psalms and with the Scripture giving light.

كُلُّ

Every

نَفْسٍۢ

psyche

ذَآئِقَةُ

will taste

ٱلْمَوْتِ

the death;

وَإِنَّمَا

and indeed it is that

تُوَفَّوْنَ

you will be paid fully

أُجُورَكُمْ

your rewards

يَوْمَ

on day of

ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

the establishment;

فَمَن

then who is

زُحْزِحَ

moved

عَنِ

away from

ٱلنَّارِ

the fire

وَأُدْخِلَ

and is entered into

ٱلْجَنَّةَ

the garden

فَقَدْ

thus surely

فَازَ

has won;

وَمَا

and not is

ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ

the life of

ٱلدُّنْيَآ

the World

إِلَّا

except

مَتَٰعُ

a passtime of

ٱلْغُرُورِ

the vanity.

١٨٥

كُلُّ نَفْسٍۢ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۗ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوْنَ أُجُورَكُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ ۖ فَمَن زُحْزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدْخِلَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ فَقَدْ فَازَ ۗ وَمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ

Every psyche will taste the death; and indeed it is that you will be paid fully your rewards on day of the establishment; then who is moved away from the fire and is entered into the garden thus surely has won; and not is the life of the World except a passtime of the vanity.

Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.

Every soul shall taste death, and you will indeed be paid your full rewards on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever is delivered from the Fire and admitted to paradise has certainly succeeded. The life of this world is nothing but the wares of delusion.

Every soul is destined to experience the agony of death. You (Muslims) will receive the recompense for your deeds on the Day of Judgment. To be saved from the fire and admitted to Paradise is certainly a great triumph. The worldly life is no more than a deceitful possession.

House of Imran [ 3:186 ] آل عمران

لَتُبْلَوُنَّ

You shall be tested

فِىٓ

أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ

your wealth,

وَأَنفُسِكُمْ

and yourself,

وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ

and you will hear

مِنَ

from

ٱلَّذِينَ

the ones who

أُوتُوا۟

were given

ٱلْكِتَٰبَ

the Book

مِن

from

قَبْلِكُمْ

before you,

وَمِنَ

and from

ٱلَّذِينَ

the ones who

أَشْرَكُوٓا۟

make partners (with Allah's Law)

أَذًۭى

hurtful things

كَثِيرًۭا

a many,

وَإِن

and if

تَصْبِرُوا۟

you endure

وَتَتَّقُوا۟

and are strong,

فَإِنَّ

then it is, that

ذَٰلِكَ

that is

مِنْ

from

عَزْمِ

resolute

ٱلْأُمُورِ

affairs.

١٨٦

لَتُبْلَوُنَّ فِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوٓا۟ أَذًۭى كَثِيرًۭا ۚ وَإِن تَصْبِرُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ ٱلْأُمُورِ

You shall be tested in your wealth, and yourself, and you will hear from the ones who were given the Book from before you, and from the ones who make partners (with Allah's Law) hurtful things a many, and if you endure and are strong, then it is, that that is from resolute affairs.

Assuredly ye will be tried in your property and in your persons, and ye will hear much wrong from those who were given the Scripture before you, and from the idolaters. But if ye persevere and ward off (evil), then that is of the steadfast heart of things.

You will surely be tested in your possessions and your souls, and you will surely hear much affront from those who were given the Book before you and from the polytheists; but if you are patient and Godwary, that is indeed the steadiest of courses.

You (believers) will certainly be tested by the loss of your property and lives and you will hear a great many grieving words from the People of the Book and the pagans. If you will have patience and piety, it will be a sign of firm determination and steadfastness (in life).

You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of the affairs (which should be) determined upon.

مسلمانو! تمہیں مال اور جان دونوں کی آزمائشیں پیش آ کر رہیں گی، اور تم اہل کتاب اور مشرکین سے بہت سی تکلیف دہ باتیں سنو گے اگر ان سب حالات میں تم صبر اور خدا ترسی کی روش پر قائم رہو تو یہ بڑے حوصلہ کا کام ہے

بیشک ضرور تمہاری آزمائش ہوگی تمہارے مال اور تمہاری جانوں میں اور بیشک ضرور تم اگلے کتاب والوں اور مشرکوں سے بہت کچھ برا سنو گے اور اگر تم صبر کرو اور بچتے رہو تو یہ بڑی ہمت کا کام ہے،

(مسلمانو) ضرور تمہیں تمہارے مالوں اور جانوں کے بارے میں آزمایا جائے گا اور تمہیں اہل کتاب مشرکین سے بڑي دل آزار باتیں سننا پڑیں گی۔ اور اگر تم صبر و ضبظ سے کام لو اور تقویٰ اختیار کرو۔ تو بے شک یہ بڑی ہمت اور حوصلے کا کام ہے۔

House of Imran [ 3:187 ] آل عمران

وَإِذْ

And when

أَخَذَ

took

ٱللَّهُ

the One

مِيثَٰقَ

ratification of

ٱلَّذِينَ

the ones who

أُوتُوا۟

were given

ٱلْكِتَٰبَ

the Book

لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ

to make clear that which We make clear

لِلنَّاسِ

for the people

وَلَا

and do not

تَكْتُمُونَهُۥ

conceal it,

فَنَبَذُوهُ

they threw it

وَرَآءَ

behind

ظُهُورِهِمْ

their backs,

وَٱشْتَرَوْا۟

and exchanged

بِهِۦ

with it

ثَمَنًۭا

a rate

قَلِيلًۭا

that is little;

فَبِئْسَ

thus evil is

مَا

what

يَشْتَرُونَ

they exchange.

١٨٧

وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُۥ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَٱشْتَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا قَلِيلًۭا ۖ فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ

And when took the One ratification of the ones who were given the Book to make clear that which We make clear for the people and do not conceal it, they threw it behind their backs, and exchanged with it a rate that is little; thus evil is what they exchange.

And (remember) when Allah laid a charge on those who had received the Scripture (He said): Ye are to expound it to mankind and not to hide it. But they flung it behind their backs and bought thereby a little gain. Verily evil is that which they have gained thereby.

When Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: [You shall explain it for the people, and you shall not conceal it,] they cast it behind their backs and sold it for a paltry gain. How evil is what they buy!

When God made a covenant with the People of the Book saying, [Tell the people about it (Muhammad's prophesy) without hiding any part, therefrom, they threw it behind their backs and sold it for a very small price. What a miserable bargain!

And when Allah made a covenant with those who were given the Book: You shall certainly make it known to men and you shall not hide it; but they cast it behind their backs and took a small price for it; so evil is that which they buy.

اس موقع کو یاد کرو جب خدا نے جن کو کتاب دی ان سے عہد لیا کہ اسے لوگوں کے لئے بیان کریں گے اور اسے حُھپائیں گے نہیں.. لیکن انہوں نے اس عہد کو پبُ پشت ڈال دیا اور تھوڑی قیمت پر بیچ دیا تو یہ بہت اِرا سودا کیا ہے

اِن اہل کتاب کو وہ عہد بھی یاد دلاؤ جو اللہ نے ان سے لیا تھا کہ تمہیں کتاب کی تعلیمات کو لوگوں میں پھیلانا ہوگا، انہیں پوشیدہ رکھنا نہیں ہوگا مگر انہوں نے کتاب کو پس پشت ڈال دیا اور تھوڑی قیمت پر اُسے بیچ ڈالا کتنا برا کاروبار ہے جو یہ کر رہے ہیں

اور یاد کرو جب اللہ نے عہد لیا ان سے جنہیں کتاب عطا فرمائی کہ تم ضرور اسے لوگوں سے بیان کردینا اور نہ چھپانا تو انہوں نے اسے اپنی پیٹھ کے پیچھے پھینک دیا اور اس کے بدلے ذلیل دام حاصل کیے تو کتنی بری خریداری ہے

(اے رسول(ص)) وہ وقت یاد کرو۔ جب خدا نے اہل کتاب سے عہد و پیمان لیا تھا کہ تم اسے ضرور لوگوں کے سامنے کھول کر بیان کروگے۔ اور اسے ہرگز نہیں چھپاؤگے مگر انہوں نے اسے اپنے پس پشت ڈال دیا۔ اور اس کے عوض تھوڑی سی قیمت وصول کرلی۔ کتنا برا کاروبار ہے جو یہ کر رہے ہیں۔

لَا تَحْسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَآ أَتَوا۟ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا۟ فَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفَازَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ

Think not that those who exult in what they have given, and love to be praised for what they have not done - Think not, they are in safety from the doom. A painful doom is theirs.

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
