The likeness of those who choose other patrons than Allah is as the likeness of the spider when she taketh unto herself a house, and lo! the frailest of all houses is the spider's house, if they but knew. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed
ٱللَّهَ

and He is
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
the Strongest,
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the Judge.
Indeed the One knows what you call upon from other than Him of things; and He is the Strongest, the Judge.

Recite that which hath been inspired in thee of the Scripture, and establish worship. Lo! worship preserveth from lewdness and iniquity, but verily remembrance of Allah is more important. And Allah knoweth what ye do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book, and maintain the prayer. Indeed the prayer restrains from indecent and wrongful conduct, and the remembrance of Allah is surely greater. And Allah knows whatever [deeds] you do. - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), recite to them what has been revealed to you in the Book and be steadfast in prayer; prayer keeps one away from indecency and evil. It is the greatest act of worshipping God. God knows what you do. - Sarwar, Muhammad

وَلَا تُجَٰدِلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَٰهُنَا وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ وَٰحِدٌۭ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And argue not with the People of the Scripture unless it be in (a way) that is better, save with such of them as do wrong; and say: We believe in that which hath been revealed unto us and revealed unto you; our Allah and your Allah is One, and unto Him we surrender. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do not argue with the People of the Book except in a manner which is best, except such of them as are wrongdoers, and say, [We believe in what has been sent down to us and in what has been sent down to you; our God and your God is one [and the same], and to Him do we submit.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور اے مسلمانو! کتابیوں سے نہ جھگڑو مگر بہتر طریقہ پر مگر وہ جنہوں نے ان میں سے ظلم کیا اور کہو ہم ایمان لائے اس پر جو ہماری طرف اترا اور جو تمہاری طرف اترا اور ہمارا تمہارا ایک معبود ہے اور ہم اس کے حضور گردن رکھتے ہیں - Ahmed Raza

In like manner We have revealed unto thee the Scripture, and those unto whom We gave the Scripture aforetime will believe therein; and of these (also) there are some who believe therein. And none deny Our revelations save the disbelievers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Thus We have sent down the Book to you; those to whom We have given the Book believe in it, and of these there are some who believe in it, and none contests Our signs except the faithless. - Qarai, Ali Quli

And thou (O Muhammad) wast not a reader of any scripture before it, nor didst thou write it with thy right hand, for then might those have doubted, who follow falsehood. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

But it is clear revelations in the hearts of those who have been given knowledge, and none deny Our revelations save wrong-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And they say: Why are not portents sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: Portents are with Allah only, and I am but a plain warner. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

They say, [Why has not some sign been sent down to him from his Lord?] Say, [These signs are only from Allah, and I am only a manifest warner.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور بولے کیوں نہ اتریں کچھ نشانیاں ان پر ان کے رب کی طرف سے تم فرماؤ نشانیاں تو اللہ ہی کے پاس ہیں اور میں تو یہی صاف ڈر سنانے والا ہوں - Ahmed Raza

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس شخص (پیغمبرِ اسلام(ص)) پر ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے معجزات کیوں نہیں اتارے گئے؟ آپ کہہ دیجئے! کہ معجزات تو بس اللہ کے پاس ہیں میں تو صرف (عذابِ الٰہی) سے واضح طور پر ڈرانے والا ہوں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Is it not enough for them that We have sent down unto thee the Scripture which is read unto them? Lo! herein verily is mercy, and a reminder for folk who believe. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Does it not suffice them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them? There is indeed in that a mercy and admonition for a people who have faith. - Qarai, Ali Quli
