And on the Day when He shall call unto them and say: Where are My partners whom ye pretended? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍۢ شَهِيدًۭا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And We shall take out from every nation a witness and We shall say: Bring your proof. Then they will know that Allah hath the Truth, and all that they invented will have failed them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We shall draw from every nation a witness and say, [Produce your evidence.] Then they will know that all reality belongs to Allah and what they used to fabricate will forsake them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We shall call from every nation a witness and shall ask them to bring proof (in support of their belief). They will know that truth belongs to God and that whatever they had falsely invented has abandoned them. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور ہم ہر قوم میں سے ایک گواہ نکال کر لائیں گے اور منکرین سے کہیں گے کہ تم بھی اپنی دلیل لے آؤ تب انہیں معلوم ہوگا کہ حق اللہ ہی کے لئے ہے اور پھر وہ جو افترا پردازیاں کیا کرتے تھے وہ سب گم ہوجائیں گی - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور ہم ہر امّت میں سے ایک گواہ نکال لائیں گے پھر کہیں گے کہ ——لاؤ اب اپنی دلیل—— اس وقت انہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ حق اللہ کی طرف سے ہے، اور گم ہو جائیں گے ان کے وہ سارے جھوٹ جو انہوں نے گھڑ رکھے تھے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

إِنَّ قَٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلْكُنُوزِ مَآ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوٓأُ بِٱلْعُصْبَةِ أُو۟لِى ٱلْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوْمُهُۥ لَا تَفْرَحْ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْفَرِحِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Now Korah was of Moses' folk, but he oppressed them; and We gave him so much treasure that the stores thereof would verily have been a burden for a troop of mighty men. When his own folk said unto him: Exult not; lo! Allah loveth not the exultant; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Korah indeed belonged to the people of Moses, but he bullied them. We had given him so much treasures that their chests indeed proved heavy for a band of stalwarts. When his people said to him, [Do not boast! Indeed Allah does not like the boasters. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Korah was a man from the people of Moses. This man rebelled against them. We had given him so much treasure that the keys of the stores of his treasures could hardly even be carried by a group of strong people. His people told him, [Do not be proud of your wealth; God does not love those who are proudly happy of their wealth. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Surely Qaroun was of the people of Musa, but he rebelled against them, and We had given him of the treasures, so much so that his hoards of wealth would certainly weigh down a company of men possessed of great strength. When his people said to him: Do not exult, surely Allah does not love the exultant; - Shakir, Habib

Korah was one of Moses' people, but he behaved arrogantly towards them. We had given him such treasures that their very keys would have weighed down a band of strong men. His people said to him, [Do not exult in your riches, for God does not love the exultant. - Wahiduddin Khan

بیشک قارون موسٰی کی قوم میں سے تھا مگر اس نے قوم پر ظلم کیا اور ہم نے بھی اسے اتنے خزانے دے دیئے تھے کہ ایک طاقت ور جماعت سے بھی اس کی کنجیاں نہیں اٹھ سکتی تھیں پھر جب اس سے قوم نے کہا کہ اس قدر نہ اتراؤ کہ خدا اترانے والوں کو دوست نہیں رکھتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ ایک واقعہ ہے کہ قارون موسیٰؑ کی قوم کا ایک شخص تھا، پھر وہ اپنی قوم کے خلاف سرکش ہو گیا اور ہم نے اس کو اتنے خزانے دے رکھے تھے کہ ان کی کنجیاں طاقت ور آدمیوں کی ایک جماعت مشکل سے اُٹھا سکتی تھی ایک دفعہ جب اس کی قوم کے لوگوں نے اُس سے کہا ——پھول نہ جا، اللہ پھولنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

But those who had been given knowledge said: Woe unto you! The reward of Allah for him who believeth and doeth right is better, and only the steadfast will obtain it. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And morning found those who had coveted his place but yesterday crying: Ah, welladay! Allah enlargeth the provision for whom He will of His slaves and straiteneth it (for whom He will). If Allah had not been gracious unto us He would have caused it to swallow us (also). Ah, welladay! the disbelievers never prosper. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

By dawn those who longed to be in his place the day before were saying, [Don]t you see that Allah expands the provision for whomever He wishes of His servants, and tightens it? Had Allah not shown us favour, He might have made the earth swallow us too. Don]t you see that the faithless do not prosper?] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The people who the other day had wished to be like him, began saying, [Woe to us! God gives abundant wealth only to those of His servants whom He wants and He determines everyone's share. Had it not been for God's favor to us, He would have caused the earth to swallow us up. Woe to the unbelievers who will have no happiness.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And those who yearned for his place only the day before began to say: Ah! (know) that Allah amplifies and straitens the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants; had not Allah been gracious to us, He would most surely have abased us; ah! (know) that the ungrateful are never successful. - Shakir, Habib

Those who had coveted his position the day before now began to say, [Ah! It is indeed God alone who gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases. Had not God been gracious to us, He would have caused us to be swallowed up also.] Alas indeed! Those who deny the truth will never prosper. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جن لوگوں نے کل اس کی جگہ کی تمناّ کی تھی وہ کہنے لگے کہ معاذ اللہ یہ تو خدا جس بندے کے لئے چاہتا ہے اس کے رزق میں وسعت پیدا کردیتا ہے اور جس کے یہاں چاہتا ہے تنگی پیدا کردیتا ہے اور اگر اس نے ہم پر احسان نہ کردیا ہوتا تو ہمیں بھی دھنسا دیا ہوتا معاذاللرُ کافروں کے لئے واقعا فلاح نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اب وہی لوگ جو کل اس کی منزلت کی تمنا کر رہے تھے کہنے لگے ——افسوس، ہم بھول گئے تھے کہ اللہ اپنے بندوں میں سے جس کا رزق چاہتا ہے کشادہ کرتا ہے اور جسے چاہتا ہے نَپا تلا دیتا ہے اگر اللہ نے ہم پر احسان نہ کیا ہوتا تو ہمیں بھی زمین میں دَھنسا دیتا افسوس ہم کو یاد نہ رہا کہ کافر فلاح نہیں پایا کرتے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

As for that Abode of the Hereafter We assign it unto those who seek not oppression in the earth, nor yet corruption. The sequel is for those who ward off (evil). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

This is the abode of the Hereafter, which We shall grant to those who do not desire to domineer in the earth nor to cause corruption, and the outcome will be in favour of the Godwary. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Lo! He Who hath given thee the Qur'an for a law will surely bring thee home again. Say: My Lord is Best Aware of him who bringeth guidance and him who is in error manifest. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Indeed He who has revealed to you the Quran will surely restore you to the place of return. Say, [My Lord knows best him who brings guidance and him who is in manifest error.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Muhammad), God, Who has commanded you to follow the guidance of the Quran, will certainly return you victoriously to your place of birth. Say, [My Lord knows best who has brought guidance and who is in plain error.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

Most surely He Who has made the Quran binding on you will bring you back to the destination. Say: My Lord knows best him who has brought the guidance and him who is in manifest error. - Shakir, Habib

اے نبیؐ، یقین جانو کہ جس نے یہ قرآن تم پر فرض کیا ہے وہ تمہیں ایک بہترین انجام کو پہنچانے والا ہے اِن لوگوں سے کہہ دو کہ ——میرا رب خُوب جانتا ہے کہ ہدایت لے کر کون آیا ہے اور کھُلی گمراہی میں کون مُبتلا ہے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بیشک جس نے تم پر قرآن فرض کیا وہ تمہیں پھیر لے جائے گا جہاں پھرنا چاہتے ہو تم فرماؤ، میرا رب خوب جانتا ہے اسے جو ہدایت لایا اور جو کھلی گمراہی میں ہے - Ahmed Raza

Thou hadst no hope that the Scripture would be inspired in thee; but it is a mercy from thy Lord, so never be a helper to the disbelievers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

You did not expect that the Book would be delivered to you; but it was a mercy from your Lord. So do not be ever an advocate of the faithless. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور تم امید نہ رکھتے تھے کہ کتاب تم پر بھیجی جائے گی ہاں تمہارے رب نے رحمت فرمائی تو تم ہرگز کافروں کی پشتی (مدد) نہ کرنا - Ahmed Raza

وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنزِلَتْ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ۖ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And let them not divert thee from the revelations of Allah after they have been sent down unto thee; but call (mankind) unto thy Lord, and be not of those who ascribe partners (unto Him). - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do not ever let them bar you from Allah]s signs after they have been sent down to you. Invite to your Lord, and never be one of the polytheists. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Let them not prevent you from following the revelations of God after they are revealed to you. Call (mankind) to your Lord and do not be a pagan. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And let them not turn you aside from the communications of Allah after they have been revealed to you, and call (men) to your Lord and be not of the polytheists. - Shakir, Habib

اور ہرگز یہ لوگ آیات کے نازل ہونے کے بعد ان کی تبلیغ سے آپ کو روکنے نہ پائیں اور آپ اپنے رب کی طرف دعوت دیجئے اور خبردار مشرکین میں سے نہ ہوجایئے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور ایسا کبھی نہ ہونے پائے کہ اللہ کی آیات جب تم پر نازل ہوں تو کفّار تمہیں اُن سے باز رکھیں اپنے رب کی طرف دعوت دو اور ہرگز مشرکوں میں شامل نہ ہو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور ہرگز وہ تمہیں اللہ کی آیتوں سے نہ روکیں بعد اس کے کہ وہ تمہاری طرف اتاری گئیں اور اپنے رب کی طرف بلاؤ اور ہرگز شرک والوں میں سے نہ ہونا - Ahmed Raza

اور (خیال رکھنا) کہ یہ لوگ آپ کو اللہ کی آیتوں (کی تبلیغ) سے کہیں روک نہ دیں بعد اس کے کہ وہ آپ پر نازل ہو چکی ہیں اور آپ اپنے پروردگار کی طرف (لوگوں کو) بلائیں اور ہرگز مشرکوں میں سے نہ ہونا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
