فَلَمَّا جَآءَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍۢ فَمَآ ءَاتَىٰنِۦَ ٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌۭ مِّمَّآ ءَاتَىٰكُم بَلْ أَنتُم بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

So when (the envoy) came unto Solomon, (the King) said: What! Would ye help me with wealth? But that which Allah hath given me is better than that which He hath given you. Nay it is ye (and not I) who exult in your gift. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

So when he came to Solomon, he said, [Are you aiding me with wealth? What Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Indeed, you are proud of your gift! - Qarai, Ali Quli

So when he came to Sulaiman, he said: What! will you help me with wealth? But what Allah has given me is better than what He has given you. Nay, you are exultant because of your present; - Shakir, Habib

Return unto them. We verily shall come unto them with hosts that they cannot resist, and we shall drive them out from thence with shame, and they will be abased. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

قَالَ ٱلَّذِى عِندَهُۥ عِلْمٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ ۚ فَلَمَّا رَءَاهُ مُسْتَقِرًّا عِندَهُۥ قَالَ هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّى لِيَبْلُوَنِىٓ ءَأَشْكُرُ أَمْ أَكْفُرُ ۖ وَمَن شَكَرَ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ رَبِّى غَنِىٌّۭ كَرِيمٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee. And when he saw it set in his presence, (Solomon) said: This is of the bounty of my Lord, that He may try me whether I give thanks or am ungrateful. Whosoever giveth thanks he only giveth thanks for (the good of) his own soul; and whosoever is ungrateful (is ungrateful only to his own soul's hurt). For lo! my Lord is Absolute in independence, Bountiful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The one who had knowledge of the Book said, [I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye.] So when he saw it set near him, he said, [This is by the grace of my Lord, to test me if I will give thanks or be ungrateful. Whoever gives thanks, gives thanks only for his own sake. And whoever is ungrateful [should know that] my Lord is indeed all-sufficient, all-generous.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

The one who had knowledge from the Book said, [I can bring it to you before you even blink your eye.] When Solomon saw the throne placed before him, he said, [This is a favor from my Lord by which He wants to test whether I am grateful or ungrateful. Whoever thanks God does so for his own good. Whoever is ungrateful to God should know that my Lord is Self-Sufficient and Benevolent.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

One who had the knowledge of the Book said: I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye. Then when he saw it settled beside him, he said: This is of the grace of my Lord that He may try me whether I am grateful or ungrateful; and whoever is grateful, he is grateful only for his own soul, and whoever is ungrateful, then surely my Lord is Self-sufficient, Honored. - Shakir, Habib

But one of them who had some knowledge of the Book said, [I will bring it to you in the twinkling of an eye.] When Solomon saw it placed before him, he exclaimed, [This is by the grace of my Lord, to test whether I am grateful or ungrateful. اور ایک شخص نے جس کے پاس کتاب کا ایک حصہّ علم تھا اس نے کہا کہ میں اتنی جلدی لے آؤں گا کہ آپ کی پلک بھی نہ جھپکنے پائے اس کے بعد سلیمان نے تخت کو اپنے سامنے حاضر دیکھا تو کہنے لگے یہ میرے پروردگار کا فضل و کرم ہے وہ میرا امتحان لینا چاہتا ہے کہ میں شکریہ ادا کرتا ہوں یا کفرانِ نعمت کرتا ہوں اور جو شکریہ ادا کرے گا وہ اپنے ہی فائدہ کے لئے کرے گا اور جو کفران هنعمت کرے گا اس کی طرف سے میرا پروردگار بے نیاز اور کریم ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

It was said unto her: Enter the hall. And when she saw it she deemed it a pool and bared her legs. (Solomon) said: Lo! it is a hall, made smooth, of glass. She said: My Lord! Lo! I have wronged myself, and I surrender with Solomon unto Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

It was said to her, [Enter the palace.] So when she saw it, she supposed it to be a pool of water, and she bared her shanks. He said, [It is a palace paved with crystal.] She said, [My Lord! Indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

She was told to enter the palace. When she saw it, she thought that it was a pool and raised her clothe up to her legs. Solomon said, [This is a palace constructed with glass.] She said, [My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself and I submit myself with Solomon to the will of God, the Lord of the Universe.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

It was said to her: Enter the palace; but when she saw it she deemed it to be a great expanse of water, and bared her legs. He said: Surely it is a palace made smooth with glass. Then she was bidden to enter the palace; but when she saw it, she thought it was a deep pool of water, and bared her legs. پھر اس سے کہا گیا کہ قصر میں داخل ہوجائے اب جو اس نے دیکھا تو سمجھی کہ کوئی گہرا پانی ہے اور اپنی پنڈلیاں کھول دیں سلیمان نے کہا کہ یہ ایک قلعہ ہے جسے شیشوں سے منڈھ دیا گیا ہے اور بلقیس نے کہا کہ میں نے اپنے نفس پر ظلم کیا تھا اور اب میں سلیمان کے ساتھ اس خدا پر ایمان لے آئی ہوں جو عالمین کا پالنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اس سے کہا گیا کہ محل میں داخل ہو اس نے جو دیکھا تو سمجھی کہ پانی کا حوض ہے اور اترنے کے لیے اس نے اپنے پائنچے اٹھا لیے سلیمانؑ نے کہا یہ شیشے کا چکنا فرش ہے اس پر وہ پکار اٹھی ——اے میرے رب، (آج تک) میں اپنے نفس پر بڑا ظلم کرتی رہی، اور اب میں نے سلیمانؑ کے ساتھ اللہ رب العالمین کی اطاعت قبول کر لی—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اس سے کہا گیا صحن میں آ پھر جب اس نے اسے دیکھا گہرا پانی سمجھی اور اپنی ساقیں کھولیں سلیمان نے فرمایا یہ تو ایک چکنا صحن ہے شیشوں جڑا عورت نے عرض کی اے میرے رب! میں نے اپنی جان پر ظلم کیا اور اب سلیمانے کے ساتھ اللہ کے حضور گردن رکھتی ہوں جو رب سارے جہان کا - Ahmed Raza

اس سے کہا گیا کہ محل میں داخل ہو۔ تو جب اس نے اس کو دیکھا تو (بلوریں فرش کو گہرا) پانی خیال کیا اور (گزرنے کیلئے اس طرح پائیچے اٹھائے کہ) اپنی دونوں پنڈلیاں کھول دیں۔ آپ نے کہا یہ (پانی نہیں ہے بلکہ) شیشوں سے مرصع محل ہے (اور بلوریں فرش ہے) ملکہ نے کہا اے میرے پروردگار! میں نے اپنے اوپر ظلم کیا تھا اور میں سلیمان کے ساتھ رب العالمین پر ایمان لاتی ہوں۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
