Their flesh and their food reach not Allah, but the devotion from you reacheth Him. Thus have We made them subject unto you that ye may magnify Allah that He hath guided you. And give good tidings (O Muhammad) to the good. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ٱلَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا۟ مِن دِيَٰرِهِم بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّآ أَن يَقُولُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍۢ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَٰمِعُ وَبِيَعٌۭ وَصَلَوَٰتٌۭ وَمَسَٰجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا ٱسْمُ ٱللَّهِ كَثِيرًۭا ۗ وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَنصُرُهُۥٓ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِىٌّ عَزِيزٌ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Those who have been driven from their homes unjustly only because they said: Our Lord is Allah - For had it not been for Allah's repelling some men by means of others, cloisters and churches and oratories and mosques, wherein the name of Allah is oft mentioned, would assuredly have been pulled down. Verily Allah helpeth one who helpeth Him. Lo! Allah is Strong, Almighty - - Pickthall, Marmaduke

—those who were expelled from their homes unjustly, only because they said, [Allah is our Lord.] Had not Allah repulsed the people from one another, ruin would have befallen the monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques in which Allah]s Name is much invoked. Allah will surely help those who help Him. Indeed Allah is all-strong, all-mighty. - Qarai, Ali Quli

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے گھروں سے بلا کسی حق کے نکال دیئے گئے ہیں علاوہ اس کے کہ وہ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارا پروردگار اللہ ہے اور اگر خدا بعض لوگوں کو بعض کے ذریعہ نہ روکتا ہوتا تو تمام گرجے اور یہودیوں کے عبادت خانے اور مجوسیوں کے عبادت خانے اور مسجدیں سب منہدم کردی جاتیں اور اللہ اپنے مددگاروں کی یقینا مدد کرے گا کہ وہ یقینا صاحبِ قوت بھی ہے اور صاحبِ عزّت بھی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے گھروں سے ناحق نکال دیے گئے صرف اِس قصور پر کہ وہ کہتے تھے ——ہمارا رب اللہ ہے—— اگر اللہ لوگوں کو ایک دوسرے کے ذریعے دفع نہ کرتا رہے تو خانقاہیں اور گرجا اور معبد اور مسجدیں، جن میں اللہ کا کثرت سے نام لیا جاتا ہے، سب مسمار کر ڈالی جائیں اللہ ضرور اُن لوگوں کی مدد کرے گا جو اس کی مدد کریں گے اللہ بڑا طاقتور اور زبردست ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وہ جو اپنے گھروں سے ناحق نکالے گئے صرف اتنی بات پر کہ انہوں نے کہا ہمارا رب اللہ ہے اور اللہ اگر آدمیوں میں ایک کو دوسرے سے دفع نہ فرماتا تو ضرور ڈھادی جاتیں خانقاہیں اور گرجا اور کلیسے اور مسجدیں جن میں اللہ کا بکثرت نام لیا جاتا ہے، اور بیشک اللہ ضرور مدد فرمائے گا اس کی جو اس کے دین کی مدد کرے گا بیشک ضرور اللہ قدرت والا غالب ہے، - Ahmed Raza

Those who, if We granted them power in the land, will maintain the prayer, give the zakat, bid what is right and forbid what is wrong. And with Allah rests the outcome of all matters. - Qarai, Ali Quli

they refute you

Nooh,
وَعَادٌۭ
and 'Aad,
وَثَمُودُ
and Thamud.
And if they refute you thus surely had lied before them nation of Nooh, and 'Aad, and Thamud.

If they deny thee (Muhammad), even so the folk of Noah, and (the tribes of) A'ad and Thamud, before thee, denied (Our messengers); - Pickthall, Marmaduke

If they have called you, (Muhammad), a liar, (remember that) the people of Noah, Ad, Thamud, - Sarwar, Muhammad

(And) the dwellers in Midian. And Moses was denied; but I indulged the disbelievers a long while, then I seized them, and how (terrible) was My abhorrence! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and the inhabitants of Midian, and Moses was also impugned. But I gave the faithless a respite, then I seized them and how was My rebuttal! - Qarai, Ali Quli

Midian, and Moses had also called their Prophets liars. I gave respite to the unbelievers, then sized them with torment. How terrible was that torment! - Sarwar, Muhammad

As well as those of Madyan and Musa (too) was rejected, but I gave respite to the unbelievers, then did I overtake them, so how (severe) was My disapproval. - Shakir, Habib

and the inhabitants of Midian also charged their prophets with falsehood. Moses was also rejected. I gave respite to those who denied the truth, but then I seized them. Consider then, how terrible My repudiation of them was. - Wahiduddin Khan

How many a township have We destroyed while it was sinful, so that it lieth (to this day) in ruins, and (how many) a deserted well and lofty tower! - Pickthall, Marmaduke

How many towns We have destroyed when they had been wrongdoers! So they lie fallen on their trellises, their wells neglected and their ruined palaces! - Qarai, Ali Quli

How many were the unjust dwellers of the towns that We destroyed. From their trellises to their lofty mansions, all were toppled and their wells were abandoned. - Sarwar, Muhammad
