He said: I perceived what they perceive not, so I seized a handful from the footsteps of the messenger, and then threw it in. Thus my soul commended to me. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [I saw what they did not see. I took a handful [of dust] from the messenger]s trail and threw it. That is how my soul prompted me.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

(Moses) said: Then go! and lo! in this life it is for thee to say: Touch me not! and lo! there is for thee a tryst thou canst not break. Now look upon thy god of which thou hast remained a votary. Verily we will burn it and will scatter its dust over the sea. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [Begone! It shall be your [lot] throughout life to say, [[Do not touch me!]] Indeed, there is a tryst for you which you will not fail to keep! Now look at your god to whom you went on clinging. We will burn it down and then scatter it[s ashes] into the sea. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Moses said, [Go away! Throughout your life you will not be able to let anyone touch you. This will be your punishment in this life. The time for your final punishment is inevitable. You will never be able to avoid it. Look at your god which you have been worshipping. We will burn it in the fire and scatter its ashes into the sea.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: Begone then, surely for you it will be in this life to say, Touch (me) not; and surely there is a threat for you, which shall not be made to fail to you, and look at your god to whose worship you kept (so long); we will certainly burn it, then we will certainly scatter it a (wide) scattering in the sea. - Shakir, Habib

Moses said, [Begone! It shall be your lot to say throughout your life, [Do not touch me,] and you will be faced with a fate from which there will be no escape. Now look at your deity to which you have become so devoted: we shall burn it up, and then scatter it into the sea. - Wahiduddin Khan

موسٰی نے کہا کہ اچھا جا دور ہوجا اب زندگانی دنیا میں تیری سزا یہ ہے کہ ہر ایک سے یہی کہتا پھرے گا کہ مجھے چھونا نہیں اور آخرت میں ایک خاص وعدہ ہے جس کی مخالفت نہیں ہوسکتی اور اب دیکھ اپنے خدا کو جس کے گرد تو نے اعتکاف کر رکھا ہے کہ میں اسے جلاکر خاکستر کردوں گا اور اس کی راکھ دریا میں اڑادوں گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

موسیٰؑ نے کہا —— اچھا تو جا، اب زندگی بھر تجھے یہی پکارتے رہنا ہے کہ مجھے نہ چھونا اور تیرے لیے بازپُرس کا ایک وقت مقرر ہے جو تجھ سے ہرگز نہ ٹلے گا اور دیکھ اپنے اِس خدا کو جس پر تو ریجھا ہُوا تھا، اب ہم اسے جلا ڈالیں گے اور ریزہ ریزہ کر کے دریا میں بہا دیں گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

کہا تو چلتا بن کہ دنیا کی زندگی میں تیری سزا یہ ہے کہ تو کہے چھو نہ جا اور بیشک تیرے لیے ایک وعدہ کا وقت ہے جو تجھ سے خلاف نہ ہوگا اور اپنے اس معبود کو دیکھ جس کے سامنے تو دن بھر آسن مارے (پوجا کے لیے بیٹھا) رہا قسم ہے ہم ضرور اسے جلائیں گے پھر ریزہ ریزہ کرکے دریا میں بہائیں گے - Ahmed Raza

موسیٰ نے کہا جا چلا جا! تیرے لئے اس زندگی میں یہ (سزا) ہے کہ تو کہتا رہے گا کہ مجھے کوئی نہ چھوئے (کہ میں اچھوت ہوں) اور تیرے لئے (آخرت میں عذاب) کا ایک وعدہ ہے جو تجھ سے ٹلنے والا نہیں ہے۔ اور اب دیکھ اپنے اس معبود کو جس کی پرستش پر تو جما بیٹھا رہا۔ ہم (پہلے) اسے جلائیں گے اور پھر اس کی راکھ کو اڑا کر سمندر میں بہائیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
