مَّن
Who is
ذَا
that
ٱلَّذِى
person
يُقْرِضُ
who would loan
ٱللَّهَ
the One,
قَرْضًا
a loan
حَسَنًۭا
that is beautiful
فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ
thus He makes it
لَهُۥٓ
for him
أَضْعَافًۭا
doubled,
كَثِيرَةًۭ
multiplied?
ۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
And the One
يَقْبِضُ
seizes,
وَيَبْصُۜطُ
and He extends,
وَإِلَيْهِ
and towards Him
تُرْجَعُونَ
you will return.
٢
٢٤٥
مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا فَيُضَٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥٓ أَضْعَافًۭا كَثِيرَةًۭ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْصُۜطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
Who is that person who would loan the One, a loan that is beautiful thus He makes it for him doubled, multiplied? And the One seizes, and He extends, and towards Him you will return.

Who is it that will lend unto Allah a goodly loan, so that He may give it increase manifold? Allah straiteneth and enlargeth. Unto Him ye will return.

Who is it that will lend Allah a good loan that He may multiply it for him severalfold? Allah tightens and expands [the means of life], and to Him you shall be brought back.

One who generously lends to God will be paid back in many multiples of the loan. It is God who reduces and expands things and to Him you will all return.

Who is it that will offer of Allah a goodly gift, so He will multiply it to him manifold, and Allah straitens and amplifies, and you shall be returned to Him.

Do not
تَرَ
you see
إِلَى
at
ٱلْمَلَإِ
the Mullahs
مِنۢ
of
بَنِىٓ
bani
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
Israel
مِنۢ
from
بَعْدِ
after
مُوسَىٰٓ
Moosa,
إِذْ
when
قَالُوا۟
they said
لِنَبِىٍّۢ
to a leader
لَّهُمُ
of theirs,
ٱبْعَثْ
[Charge
لَنَا
for us
مَلِكًۭا
a king,
نُّقَٰتِلْ
we will fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
the One.]
ۖ
قَالَ
The leader replied,
هَلْ
[Is it
عَسَيْتُمْ
suitable to you
إِن
that
كُتِبَ
ordained
عَلَيْكُمُ
upon you is
ٱلْقِتَالُ
the fight,
أَلَّا
except that not
تُقَٰتِلُوا۟
you fight?]
ۖ
قَالُوا۟
They replied,
وَمَا
[And what is
لَنَآ
for us
أَلَّا
except not
نُقَٰتِلَ
we would fight
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
way of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
وَقَدْ
while certainly
أُخْرِجْنَا
we were evicted
مِن
from
دِيَٰرِنَا
our homes,
وَأَبْنَآئِنَا
and our children as well?]
ۖ
فَلَمَّا
Then when
كُتِبَ
was ordained
عَلَيْهِمُ
upon them
ٱلْقِتَالُ
the fight,
تَوَلَّوْا۟
turned back
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلًۭا
a handful
مِّنْهُمْ
of them;
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One
عَلِيمٌۢ
knows
بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
about the ones who are in darkness.
٢
٢٤٦
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ مِنۢ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ قَالُوا۟ لِنَبِىٍّۢ لَّهُمُ ٱبْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكًۭا نُّقَٰتِلْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ أَلَّا تُقَٰتِلُوا۟ ۖ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا لَنَآ أَلَّا نُقَٰتِلَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَدْ أُخْرِجْنَا مِن دِيَٰرِنَا وَأَبْنَآئِنَا ۖ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْا۟ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
Do not you see at the Mullahs of bani Israel from after Moosa, when they said to a leader of theirs, [Charge for us a king, we will fight in way of the One.] The leader replied, [Is it suitable to you that ordained upon you is the fight, except that not you fight?] They replied, [And what is for us except not we would fight in way of the One while certainly we were evicted from our homes, and our children as well?] Then when was ordained upon them the fight, turned back except a handful of them; and the One knows about the ones who are in darkness.

Bethink thee of the leaders of the Children of Israel after Moses, how they said unto a prophet whom they had: Set up for us a king and we will fight in Allah's way. He said: Would ye then refrain from fighting if fighting were prescribed for you? They said: Why should we not fight in Allah's way when we have been driven from our dwellings with our children? Yet, when fighting was prescribed for them, they turned away, all save a few of them. Allah is aware of evil-doers.

Have you not regarded the elite of the Israelites after Moses, when they said to their prophet, [Appoint for us a king that we may fight in the way of Allah.] He said, [May it not be that you will not fight if fighting were prescribed for you?] They said, [Why should we not fight in the way of Allah, when we have been expelled from our homes and [separated from] our children?] So when fighting was prescribed for them, they turned back except a few of them, and Allah knows well the wrongdoers.

(Muhammad), remember that group of the Israelites after Moses who demanded a Prophet of their own to appoint a king for them who would lead them in the fight for the cause of God. Their Prophet then said, [What if you are ordered to fight and you disobey?] They said, [Why should we not fight for the cause of God when we and our sons have been expelled from our homes?] However, when they were ordered to fight, all refused except a few among them. God knows well the unjust.

Have you not considered the chiefs of the children of Israel after Musa, when they said to a prophet of theirs: Raise up for us a king, (that) we may fight in the way of Allah. He said: May it not be that you would not fight if fighting is ordained for you? They said: And what reason have we that we should not fight in the way of Allah, and we have indeed been compelled to abandon our homes and our children. But when fighting was ordained for them, they turned back, except a few of them, and Allah knows the unjust.

Have you not heard of what the chiefs of the Children of Israel demanded of one of their prophets after Moses? They said, [Appoint for us a king, and we will fight for the cause of God.] He replied, [What if you refuse to fight, when ordered to do so?] [Why should we not fight for the cause of God,] they replied, [when we have been driven forth from our homes and our children?] But when at last they were commanded to fight, they all refused, except a few of them. God knows the wrongdoers.

کیا تم نے موسیٰ علیھ السّلامکے بعد بنی اسرائیل کی اس جماعت کونہیں دیکھا جس نے اپنے نبی سے کہا کہ ہمارے واسطے ایک بادشاہ مقرر کیجئے تاکہ ہم راسِ خدا میں جہاد کریں. نبی نے فرمایا کہ اندیشہ یہ ہے کہ تم پر جہادواجب ہوجائے توتم جہاد نہ کرو. ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہم کیوںکر جہاد نہ کریں گے جب کہ ہمیں ہمارے گھروں اور بال بّچوںسے الگ نکال باہر کردیا گیا ہے. اس کے بعد جب جہاد واجب کردیا گیا تو تھوڑے سے افراد کے علاوہ سب منحرف ہوگئے اور اللہ ظالمین کو خوب جانتا ہے

پھر تم نے اُس معاملے پر بھی غور کیا، جو موسیٰؑ کے بعد سرداران بنی اسرائیل کو پیش آیا تھا؟ اُنہوں نے اپنے نبی سے کہا: ہمارے لیے ایک بادشاہ مقرر کر دو تاکہ ہم اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کریں نبی نے پوچھا: کہیں ایسا تو نہ ہوگا کہ تم کو لڑائی کا حکم دیا جائے اور پھر تم نہ لڑو وہ کہنے لگے : بھلا یہ کیسے ہو سکتا ہے کہ ہم راہ خدا میں نہ لڑیں، جبکہ ہمیں اپنے گھروں سے نکال دیا گیا ہے اور ہمارے بال بچے ہم سے جدا کر دیے گئے ہیں مگر جب ان کو جنگ کا حکم دیا گیا، تو ایک قلیل تعداد کے سوا وہ سب پیٹھ موڑ گئے، اور اللہ ان میں سے ایک ایک ظالم کو جانتا ہے

اے محبوب! کیا تم نے نہ دیکھا بنی اسرائیل کے ایک گروہ کو جو موسیٰ کے بعد ہوا جب اپنے ایک پیغمبر سے بولے ہمارے لیے کھڑا کردو ایک بادشاہ کہ ہم خدا کی راہ میں لڑیں، نبی نے فرمایا کیا تمہارے انداز ایسے ہیں کہ تم پر جہاد فرض کیا جائے تو پھر نہ کرو، بولے ہمیں کیا ہوا کہ ہم اللہ کی راہ میں نہ لڑیں حالانکہ ہم نکالے گئے ہیں اپنے وطن اور اپنی اولاد سے تو پھر جب ان پر جہاد فرض کیا گیا منہ پھیر گئے مگر ان میں کے تھوڑے اور اللہ خوب جانتا ہے ظالموں کو،

کیا تم نے جناب موسیٰ کے بعد بنی اسرائیل کے سرداروں کو نہیں دیکھا کہ جب انہوں نے نبی(ص) سے کہا کہ ہمارے لئے ایک بادشاہ مقرر کر دیجئے تاکہ ہم (اس کی زیر قیادت) راہِ خدا میں جنگ کریں۔ اس نبی نے فرمایا کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ جب جنگ تم پر واجب ہو جائے۔ تو پھر تم جنگ نہ کرو۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم کیونکر جنگ نہیں کریں گے؟ جبکہ ہمیں اپنے گھروں اور بال بچوں سے باہر نکال دیا گیا ہے۔ مگر جب جنگ ان پر واجب قرار دی گئی تو ان کے تھوڑے سے آدمیوں کے سوا باقی سب کے سب منحرف ہوگئے (پیٹھ پھیر گئے) اور خدا ظالموں کو خوب جانتا ہے۔

And said
لَهُمْ

نَبِيُّهُمْ
their leader,
إِنَّ
[It is that
ٱللَّهَ

قَدْ

بَعَثَ
has raised
لَكُمْ
for you
طَالُوتَ
Talut
مَلِكًۭا
as a king.]
ۚ
قَالُوٓا۟
They replied,
أَنَّىٰ
[How
يَكُونُ
can there be
لَهُ
for him
ٱلْمُلْكُ
the kingship
عَلَيْنَا
upon us,
وَنَحْنُ
while we
أَحَقُّ
have more right
بِٱلْمُلْكِ
about the kingship
مِنْهُ
than him?
وَلَمْ
And not
يُؤْتَ
he has been given
سَعَةًۭ
abundance
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْمَالِ
wealth.]
ۚ
قَالَ
Leader said,
إِنَّ
[Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
the One
ٱصْطَفَىٰهُ
has chosen him
عَلَيْكُمْ
over you
وَزَادَهُۥ
and has increased him
بَسْطَةًۭ
expanded
فِى
in
ٱلْعِلْمِ
the knowledge
وَٱلْجِسْمِ
and the body;
ۖ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One
يُؤْتِى
gives
مُلْكَهُۥ
His domains to
مَن
whomever
يَشَآءُ
He desires;
ۚ
وَٱللَّهُ
and the One is
وَٰسِعٌ
expanded
عَلِيمٌۭ
being well informed.]
٢
٢٤٧
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدْ بَعَثَ لَكُمْ طَالُوتَ مَلِكًۭا ۚ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ عَلَيْنَا وَنَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِٱلْمُلْكِ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُؤْتَ سَعَةًۭ مِّنَ ٱلْمَالِ ۚ قَالَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَزَادَهُۥ بَسْطَةًۭ فِى ٱلْعِلْمِ وَٱلْجِسْمِ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يُؤْتِى مُلْكَهُۥ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٌۭ
And said to them their leader, [It is that the One surely has raised for you Talut as a king.] They replied, [How can there be for him the kingship upon us, while we have more right about the kingship than him? And not he has been given abundance of wealth.] Leader said, [Indeed the One has chosen him over you and has increased him expanded in the knowledge and the body; and the One gives His domains to whomever He desires; and the One is expanded being well informed.]

Their Prophet said unto them: Lo! Allah hath raised up Saul to be a king for you. They said: How can he have kingdom over us when we are more deserving of the kingdom than he is, since he hath not been given wealth enough? He said: Lo! Allah hath chosen him above you, and hath increased him abundantly in wisdom and stature. Allah bestoweth His Sovereignty on whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing.

Their prophet said to them, [Allah has appointed Saul as king for you.] They said, [How can he have kingship over us, when we have a greater right to kingship than him, as he has not been given ample wealth?] He said, [Indeed Allah has chosen him over you, and enhanced him vastly in knowledge and physique, and Allah gives His kingdom to whomever He wishes, and Allah is all-bounteous, all-knowing.]

Their Prophet said, [God has appointed Saul as a king for you.] They replied, [How can he dominate us when we deserve more to be king than he. Besides, he does not have abundant wealth.] Their Prophet said, [God has chosen him as your ruler and has given him physical power and knowledge. God grants His authority to anyone whom He wants. God is Provident and All-knowing.

They said: How can he hold kingship over us while we have a greater right to kingship than he, and he has not been granted an abundance of wealth? He said: Surely Allah has chosen him in preference to you, and He has increased him abundantly in knowledge and physique, and Allah grants His kingdom to whom He pleases, and Allah is Amplegiving, Knowing.

God grants kingship to whoever He pleases: God is magnanimous and all knowing.]

ان کے پیغمبر علیھ السّلامنے کہا کہ اللہ نے تمہارے لئے طالوت کو حاکم مقرر کیا ہے. ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ یہ کس طرح حکومت کریں گے ان کے پاس تو مال کی فراوانی نہیں ہے ان سے زیادہ تو ہم ہی حقدار حکومت ہیں. نبی نے جواب دیا کہ انہیں اللہ نے تمہارے لئے منتخب کیا ہے اور علم و جسم میں وسعت عطا فرمائی ہے اور اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے اپنا ملک دے دیتا ہے کہ وہ صاحبِ وسعت بھی ہے اور صاحبِ علم بھی

اُن کے نبی نے ان سے کہا کہ اللہ نے طالوت کو تمہارے لیے بادشاہ مقرر کیا ہے یہ سن کر وہ بولے : ——ہم پر بادشاہ بننے کا وہ کیسے حقدار ہو گیا؟ اُس کے مقابلے میں بادشاہی کے ہم زیادہ مستحق ہیں وہ تو کوئی بڑا ما ل دار آدمی نہیں ہے—— نبی نے جواب دیا: ——اللہ نے تمہارے مقابلے میں اسی کو منتخب کیا ہے اور اس کو دماغی و جسمانی دونوں قسم کی اہلیتیں فراوانی کے ساتھ عطا فرمائی ہیں اور اللہ کو اختیار ہے کہ اپنا ملک جسے چاہے دے، اللہ بڑی وسعت رکھتا ہے اور سب کچھ اُس کے علم میں ہے——

اور ان سے ان کے نبی نے فرمایا بیشک اللہ نے طالوت کو تمہارا بادشاہ بنا کر بھیجا ہے بولے اسے ہم پر بادشاہی کیونکر ہوگی اور ہم اس سے زیادہ سلطنت کے مستحق ہیں اور اسے مال میں بھی وسعت نہیں دی گئی فرمایا اسے اللہ نے تم پر چن لیا اور اسے علم اور جسم میں کشادگی زیادہ دی اور اللہ اپنا ملک جسے چاہ ے دے اور اللہ وسعت والا علم والا ہے

اور ان کے پیغمبر نے ان سے کہا کہ بے شک خدا نے تمہارے لئے طالوت کو بادشاہ مقرر کیا ہے۔ ان لوگو ں نے کہا، اس کو ہم پر کس طرح حکومت کرنے کا حق ہو سکتا ہے۔ اس سے تو ہم حکومت کرنے کے زیادہ حقدار ہیں اسے تو مالی وسعت ملی ہی نہیں ہے (کوئی بڑا مالدار آدمی نہیں ہے)۔ نبی نے جواب دیا کہ اللہ نے اسے اس لئے تم پر فضیلت اور ترجیح دی ہے کہ اسے علم اور جسمانی طاقت میں زیادتی عطا کی ہے اور اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے۔ اپنا ملک عطا کرتا ہے۔ (کیونکہ) اللہ بڑی وسعت والا اور بڑا علم والا ہے۔

نَبِيُّهُمْ
their leader,

of his kingship is

يَأْتِيَكُمُ
comes to you
ٱلتَّابُوتُ
the container
فِيهِ
in which is
سَكِينَةٌۭ
tranquillity
مِّن
from
رَّبِّكُمْ
your Rabb,
وَبَقِيَّةٌۭ
and remains
مِّمَّا
regarding that which
تَرَكَ
left
ءَالُ
the people of
مُوسَىٰ
Moosa
وَءَالُ
and people
هَٰرُونَ
Haroon,
تَحْمِلُهُ
carried by
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
the malaikati;
ۚ
إِنَّ
surely
فِى
in
ذَٰلِكَ
that is
لَـَٔايَةًۭ
a sign
لَّكُمْ
for you
إِن
if
كُنتُم
you are
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
people of firm conviction.]

٢٤٨
وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نَبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ ءَايَةَ مُلْكِهِۦٓ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ ٱلتَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌۭ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ ءَالُ مُوسَىٰ وَءَالُ هَٰرُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
And said to them their leader, [Surely a sign of his kingship is that comes to you the container in which is tranquillity from your Rabb, and remains regarding that which left the people of Moosa and people Haroon, carried by the malaikati; surely in that is a sign for you if you are people of firm conviction.]

And their Prophet said unto them: Lo! the token of his kingdom is that there shall come unto you the ark wherein is peace of reassurance from your Lord, and a remnant of that which the house of Moses and the house of Aaron left behind, the angels bearing it. Lo! herein shall be a token for you if (in truth) ye are believers.

Their prophet said to them, [Indeed the sign of his kingship shall be that the Ark will come to you, bearing tranquillity from your Lord and the relics left behind by the House of Moses and the House of Aaron, borne by the angels. There is indeed a sign in that for you, should you be faithful.]

اور ان کے پیغمبر علیھ السّلام نے یہ بھی کہا کہ ان کی حکومت کی نشانی یہ ہے یہ تمہارے پاس وہ تابوت لے آئیں گے جس میںپروردگار کی طرف سے سامانِ سکون اور آل موسیٰ علیھ السّلام اور آل ہارون علیھ السّلام کا چھوڑا ہوا ترکہ بھی ہے. اس تابوت کو ملائکہ اٹھائے ہوئے ہوں گے اور اس میں تمہارے لئے قدراُ پروردگار کی نشانی بھی ہے اگر تم صاحبِ ایمان ہو

اس کے ساتھ اُن کے نبی نے اُن کو یہ بھی بتایا کہ ——خدا کی طرف سے اُس کے بادشاہ مقرر ہونے کی علامت یہ ہے کہ اس کے عہد میں وہ صندوق تمہیں واپس مل جائے گا، جس میں تمہارے رب کی طرف سے تمہارے لیے سکون قلب کا سامان ہے، جس میں آل موسیٰؑ اور آل ہارون کے چھوڑے ہوئے تبرکات ہیں، اور جس کو اس وقت فرشتے سنبھالے ہوئے ہیں اگر تم مومن ہو، تو یہ تمہارے لیے بہت بڑی نشانی ہے

Then when

set out
طَالُوتُ
Talut
بِٱلْجُنُودِ
with the army,
قَالَ
he said,
إِنَّ
[Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
the One is
مُبْتَلِيكُم
testing you
بِنَهَرٍۢ
with a river,
فَمَن
so whoever
شَرِبَ
drank
مِنْهُ
from it
فَلَيْسَ
then not would be
مِنِّى
of me,
وَمَن
and whoever
لَّمْ
not
يَطْعَمْهُ
consumed it
فَإِنَّهُۥ
then indeed he is
مِنِّىٓ
of me,
إِلَّا
except
مَنِ
who
ٱغْتَرَفَ
scooped
غُرْفَةًۢ
a scoop
بِيَدِهِۦ
by his handful.]
ۚ
فَشَرِبُوا۟
So, they drank
مِنْهُ
from it,
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلًۭا
few
مِّنْهُمْ
of them;
ۚ
فَلَمَّا
then when
جَاوَزَهُۥ
passed it,
هُوَ
he
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
had conviction
مَعَهُۥ
with him,
قَالُوا۟
they said,
لَا
[No
طَاقَةَ
strength
لَنَا
with us
ٱلْيَوْمَ
on this day
بِجَالُوتَ
regarding Jaloot
وَجُنُودِهِۦ
and his army.]
ۚ
قَالَ
Said
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
يَظُنُّونَ
had in mind
أَنَّهُم
that they
مُّلَٰقُوا۟
will meet
ٱللَّهِ
the One,
كَم
[How a many
مِّن
of
فِئَةٍۢ
a group
قَلِيلَةٍ
that is little
غَلَبَتْ
has defeated
فِئَةًۭ
a group
كَثِيرَةًۢ
that is large
بِإِذْنِ
by command of
ٱللَّهِ
the One?
ۗ
وَٱللَّهُ
And the One is
مَعَ
with
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
the persevering ones.]

٢٤٩
فَلَمَّا فَصَلَ طَالُوتُ بِٱلْجُنُودِ قَالَ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُبْتَلِيكُم بِنَهَرٍۢ فَمَن شَرِبَ مِنْهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنِّى وَمَن لَّمْ يَطْعَمْهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّىٓ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱغْتَرَفَ غُرْفَةًۢ بِيَدِهِۦ ۚ فَشَرِبُوا۟ مِنْهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّنْهُمْ ۚ فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَهُۥ هُوَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ قَالُوا۟ لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ ۚ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَظُنُّونَ أَنَّهُم مُّلَٰقُوا۟ ٱللَّهِ كَم مِّن فِئَةٍۢ قَلِيلَةٍ غَلَبَتْ فِئَةًۭ كَثِيرَةًۢ بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
Then when set out Talut with the army, he said, [Indeed the One is testing you with a river, so whoever drank from it then not would be of me, and whoever not consumed it then indeed he is of me, except who scooped a scoop by his handful.] So, they drank from it, except few of them; then when passed it, he and the ones who had conviction with him, they said, [No strength with us on this day regarding Jaloot and his army.] Said the ones who had in mind that they will meet the One, [How a many of a group that is little has defeated a group that is large by command of the One? And the One is with the persevering ones.]

And when Saul set out with the army, he said: Lo! Allah will try you by (the ordeal of) a river. Whosoever therefore drinketh thereof he is not of me, and whosoever tasteth it not he is of me, save him who taketh (thereof) in the hollow of his hand. But they drank thereof, all save a few of them. And after he had crossed (the river), he and those who believed with him, they said: We have no power this day against Goliath and his hosts. But those who knew that they would meet Allah exclaimed: How many a little company hath overcome a mighty host by Allah's leave! Allah is with the steadfast.

As Saul set out with the troops, he said, [Allah will test you with a stream: anyone who drinks from it will not belong to me, but those who do not drink from it will belong to me, barring someone who draws a scoop with his hand.] But they drank from it, [all] except a few of them. So when he crossed it along with the faithful who were with him, they said, [We have no strength today against Goliath and his troops.] Those who were certain that they would encounter Allah said, [How many a small party has overcome a larger party by Allah]s will! And Allah is with the patient.]

Those who drink its water will not be of my people and those who do not even taste the water or who only taste some of it from within the hollow of their hand, will be my friends. They all drank the water except a few of them. When Saul and those who believed in him crossed the river, his people said, [We do not have the strength to fight against Goliath and his army.] Those who thought that they would meet God said, [How often, with God's permission, have small groups defeated the large ones?] God is with those who exercise patience.

So when Talut departed with the forces, he said: Surely Allah will try you with a river; whoever then drinks from it, he is not of me, and whoever does not taste of it, he is surely of me, except he who takes with his hand as much of it as fills the hand; but with the exception of a few of them they drank from it. So when he had crossed it, he and those who believed with him, they said: We have today no power against Jalut and his forces. Those who were sure that they would meet their Lord said: How often has a small party vanquished a numerous host by Allah's permission, and Allah is with the patient.

اس کے بعد جب طالوت علیھ السّلام لشکر لے کرچلے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ اب خدا ایک نہر کے ذریعہ تمہارا امتحان لینے والا ہے جو اس میں سے پی لے گا وہ مجھ سے نہ ہوگا اور جو نہ چکھے گا وہ مجھ سے ہوگا مگر یہ کہ ایک چلّو پانی لے لے. نتیجہ یہ ہوا کہ سب نے پانی پی لیا سوائے چند افراد کے---- پھر جب وہ صاحبانِ ایمان کو لے کر آگے بڑھے لوگوں نے کہا کہ آج تو جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کے مقابلہ کی ہمت نہیں ہے اور ایک جماعت نے جسے خدا سے ملاقات کرنے کا خیال تھا کہا کہ اکثر چھوٹے چھوٹے گروہ بڑی بڑی جماعتوں پر حکم خدا سے غالب آجاتے ہیں اور اللہ صبر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے

پھر جب طالوت لشکر لے کر چلا، تو اُس نے کہا: ——ایک دریا پر اللہ کی طرف سے تمہاری آزمائش ہونے والی ہے جواس کا پانی پیے گا، وہ میرا ساتھی نہیں میرا ساتھی صرف وہ ہے جو اس سے پیاس نہ بجھائے، ہاں ایک آدھ چلو کوئی پی لے، تو پی لے—— مگر ایک گروہ قلیل کے سوا وہ سب اس دریا سے سیراب ہوئے پھر جب طالوت اور اس کے ساتھی مسلمان دریا پار کر کے آگے بڑھے، تو اُنہوں نے طالوت سے کہہ دیا کہ آج ہم میں جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کا مقابلہ کرنے کی طاقت نہیں ہے لیکن جو لوگ یہ سمجھتے تھے کہ انہیں ایک دن اللہ سے ملنا ہے، انہوں نے کہا: ——بارہا ایسا ہوا ہے کہ ایک قلیل گروہ اللہ کے اذن سے ایک بڑے گروہ پر غالب آگیا ہے اللہ صبر کرنے والوں کا ساتھی ہے——

پھر جب طالوت لشکروں کو لے کر شہر سے جدا ہوا بولا بیشک اللہ تمہیں ایک نہر سے آزمانے والا ہے تو جو اس کا پانی پئے وہ میرا نہیں اور جو نہ پیئے وہ میرا ہے مگر وہ جو ایک چلُو اپنے ہاتھ سے لے لے تو سب نے اس سے پیا مگر تھوڑوں نے پھر جب طالوت اور اس کے ساتھ کے مسلمان نہر کے پار گئے بولے ہم میں آج طاقت نہیں جالوت اور اس کے لشکروں کی بولے وہ جنہیں اللہ سے ملنے کا یقین تھا کہ بارہا کم جماعت غالب آئی ہے زیادہ گروہ پر اللہ کے حکم سے، اور اللہ صابروں کے ساتھ ہے

اب جو طالوت فوجیں لے کر چلے تو (اپنے ہمراہیوں سے) کہا کہ خدا ایک نہر کے ساتھ تمہاری آزمائش کرنے والا ہے (دیکھو) جو شخص اس سے پانی پی لے گا اس کا مجھ سے کوئی واسطہ نہ ہوگا اور جو اسے چکھے گا بھی نہیں اس کا مجھ سے تعلق ہوگا۔ مگر یہ کہ اپنے ہاتھ سے ایک چُلو بھر لے۔ (انجام کار وقت آنے پر) تھوڑے لوگوں کے سوا باقی سب نے اس (نہر) سے پانی پی لیا۔ پس جب وہ اور ان کے ساتھ ایمان لانے والے آگے بڑھے (نہر پار کی) تو (پانی پینے والے) کہنے لگے کہ آج ہم میں جالوت اور اس کی افواج سے لڑنے کی طاقت نہیں ہے (مگر) جن لوگوں کو خدا کو منہ دکھانے کا یقین تھا کہنے لگے خدا کے حکم سے کئی چھوٹی جماعتیں بڑی جماعتوں پر غالب آجاتی ہیں اور خدا صبر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ہے۔

صَبْرًۭا
endurance,
وَثَبِّتْ
and make firm
أَقْدَامَنَا
our feet,
وَٱنصُرْنَا
and help us
عَلَى
over
ٱلْقَوْمِ
the nation of
ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
the denying people.]

٢٥٠
وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا۟ لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِۦ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًۭا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَٱنصُرْنَا عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
And for when came face to face with Jaloot and his army, they said, [Our Rabb! pour upon us endurance, and make firm our feet, and help us over the nation of the denying people.]

And when they went into the field against Goliath and his hosts they said: Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance, make our foothold sure, and give us help against the disbelieving folk.

And when they went out against Jalut and his forces they said: Our Lord, pour down upon us patience, and make our steps firm and assist us against the unbelieving people.

Thus overpowered them

Jaloot,
وَءَاتَىٰهُ
and gave to (Dawood),
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
ٱلْمُلْكَ
the kingdom
وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
and the wisdom,
وَعَلَّمَهُۥ
and taught him
مِمَّا
of what
يَشَآءُ
He desired;
ۗ
وَلَوْلَا
and if not
دَفْعُ
charged
ٱللَّهِ
the One,
ٱلنَّاسَ
the people,
بَعْضَهُم
some of them
بِبَعْضٍۢ
regarding others,
لَّفَسَدَتِ
it would corrupt
ٱلْأَرْضُ
the Earth,
وَلَٰكِنَّ
but
ٱللَّهَ
the One
ذُو
possesses
فَضْلٍ
grace
عَلَى
upon
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
all the states of being.
٢
٢٥١
فَهَزَمُوهُم بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُۥدُ جَالُوتَ وَءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُلْكَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُۥ مِمَّا يَشَآءُ ۗ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍۢ لَّفَسَدَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Thus overpowered them by command of the One and killed Dawood, Jaloot, and gave to (Dawood), the One, the kingdom and the wisdom, and taught him of what He desired; and if not charged the One, the people, some of them regarding others, it would corrupt the Earth, but the One possesses grace upon all the states of being.

So they routed them by Allah's leave and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him the kingdom and wisdom, and taught him of that which He willeth. And if Allah had not repelled some men by others the earth would have been corrupted. But Allah is a Lord of Kindness to (His) creatures.

Thus they routed them with Allah]s will, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him kingdom and wisdom and taught him whatever He liked. Were it not for Allah]s repelling the people by means of one another, the earth would surely have been corrupted; but Allah is gracious to the world]s people.

آخر کا ر اللہ کے اذن سے اُنہوں نے کافروں کو مار بھگایا اور داؤدؑ نے جالوت کو قتل کر دیا اور اللہ نے اسے سلطنت اور حکمت سے نوازا اور جن جن چیزوں کا چاہا، اس کو علم دیا اگر اس طرح اللہ انسانوں کے ایک گروہ کو دوسرے گروہ کے ذریعے ہٹاتا نہ رہتا، تو زمین کا نظام بگڑ جاتا، لیکن دنیا کے لوگوں پر اللہ کا بڑا فضل ہے (کہ وہ اِس طرح دفع فساد کا انتظام کرتا رہتا ہے)

These are
ءَايَٰتُ

ٱللَّهِ

وَإِنَّكَ
and surely you are
لَمِنَ
from
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers.

تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
These are signs of the One We recite upon you with truth; and surely you are from the Messengers.

These are the portents of Allah which We recite unto thee (Muhammad) with truth, and lo! thou art of the number of (Our) messengers;

Those
ٱلرُّسُلُ
messengers,
فَضَّلْنَا
We raised status of
بَعْضَهُمْ
some of them
عَلَىٰ
over
بَعْضٍۢ
some;
ۘ
مِّنْهُم
from them
مَّن
who
كَلَّمَ
spoke to
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
ۖ
وَرَفَعَ
and raised
بَعْضَهُمْ
some of them
دَرَجَٰتٍۢ
in ranks;
ۚ
وَءَاتَيْنَا
and We gave
عِيسَى
Essa
ٱبْنَ
son of
مَرْيَمَ
Maryam
ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
the clarifications,
وَأَيَّدْنَٰهُ
and empowered him
بِرُوحِ
with the spirit of
ٱلْقُدُسِ
full dedication.
ۗ
وَلَوْ
And if
شَآءَ
willed
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
مَا
not
ٱقْتَتَلَ
would have fought
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
مِنۢ
came
بَعْدِهِم
later following them
مِّنۢ
of
بَعْدِ
after
مَا
that which
جَآءَتْهُمُ
reached them of
ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ
the clarifications,
وَلَٰكِنِ
however
ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟
they disagreed,
فَمِنْهُم
thus from them
مَّنْ
who
ءَامَنَ
became sure,
وَمِنْهُم
and from them
مَّن
who
كَفَرَ
deny.
ۚ
وَلَوْ
And if
شَآءَ
willed
ٱللَّهُ
the One,
مَا
not
ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟
they would fight
وَلَٰكِنَّ
however
ٱللَّهَ
the One
يَفْعَلُ
does
مَا
what
يُرِيدُ
He desires.

٢٥٣
تِلْكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ ۘ مِّنْهُم مَّن كَلَّمَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَءَاتَيْنَا عِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَأَيَّدْنَٰهُ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ ۗ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتُ وَلَٰكِنِ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ ءَامَنَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن كَفَرَ ۚ وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ وَلَٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُرِيدُ
Those messengers, We raised status of some of them over some; from them who spoke to the One, and raised some of them in ranks; and We gave Essa son of Maryam the clarifications, and empowered him with the spirit of full dedication. And if willed the One, not would have fought the ones who came later following them of after that which reached them of the clarifications, however they disagreed, thus from them who became sure, and from them who deny. And if willed the One, not they would fight however the One does what He desires.

Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake, while some of them He exalted (above others) in degree; and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) and We supported him with the holy Spirit. And if Allah had so wiled it, those who followed after them would not have fought one with another after the clear proofs had come unto them. But they differed, some of them believing and some disbelieving. And if Allah had so willed it, they would not have fought one with another; but Allah doeth what He will.

These are the apostles, some of whom We gave an advantage over others: of them are those to whom Allah spoke and some of them He raised in rank, and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, manifest proofs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Had Allah wished, those who succeeded them would not have fought one another after the manifest proofs had come to them. But they differed. So there were among them those who had faith and there were among them those who were faithless, and had Allah wished, they would not have fought one another; but Allah does whatever He desires.

We gave some of Our Messengers preference over others. To some of them God spoke and He raised the rank of some others. We gave authoritative proofs to Jesus, son of Mary, and supported him by the Holy Spirit. Had God wanted, the generations who lived after those Messengers would not have fought each other after the authority had come to them. But they differed among themselves, some of them believed in the authority and others denied it. They would not have fought each other had God wanted, but God does as He wills.

We have made some of these apostles to excel the others among them are they to whom Allah spoke, and some of them He exalted by (many degrees of) rank; and We gave clear miracles to Isa son of Marium, and strengthened him with the holy spirit. And if Allah had pleased, those after them would not have fought one with another after clear arguments had come to them, but they disagreed; so there were some of them who believed and others who denied; and if Allah had pleased they would not have fought one with another, but Allah brings about what He intends.

یہ سب رسول علیھ السّلاموہ ہیں جنہیں ہم نے بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت دی ہے. ان میں سے بعض وہ ہیں جن سے خدا نے کلام کیا ہے اور بعض کے درجات بلند کئے ہیں اور ہم نے عیسیٰ علیھ السّلام بن مریم کو کھلی ہوئی نشانیاںدی ہیں اور روح القدس کے ذریعہ ان کی تائید کی ہے. اگر خدا چاہتا تو ان رسولوں کے بعد والے ان واضح معجزات کے آجانے کے بعد آپس میں جھگڑا نہ کرتے لیکن ان لوگوں نے (خدا کے جبر نہ کرنے کی بنا پر) اختلاف کیا ہے . بعض ایمان لائے اور بعض کافر ہو گئے اور اگر خدا طے کر لیتا تو یہ جھگڑا نہ کرسکتے لیکن خدا جو چاہتا ہے وہی کرتا ہے

یہ رسول (جو ہماری طرف سے انسانوں کی ہدایت پر مامور ہوئے) ہم نے ان کو ایک دوسرے سے بڑھ چڑھ کر مرتبے عطا کیے ان میں کوئی ایسا تھا جس سے خدا خود ہم کلام ہوا، کسی کو اس نے دوسری حیثیتوں سے بلند درجے دیے، اور آخر میں عیسیٰ ابن مریمؑ کو روشن نشانیاں عطا کیں اور روح پاک سے اس کی مدد کی اگر اللہ چاہتا، تو ممکن نہ تھا کہ اِن رسولوں کے بعد جو لوگ روشن نشانیاں دیکھ چکے تھے، وہ آپس میں لڑتے مگر (اللہ کی مشیت یہ نہ تھی کہ وہ لوگوں کو جبراً اختلاف سے روکے، اس وجہ سے) انہوں نے باہم اختلاف کیا، پھر کوئی ایمان لایا اور کسی نے کفر کی راہ اختیار کی ہاں، اللہ چاہتا، تو وہ ہرگز نہ لڑتے، مگر اللہ جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے

یہ رسول ہیں کہ ہم نے ان میں ایک کو دوسرے پر افضل کیا ان میں کسی سے اللہ نے کلام فرمایا اور کوئی وہ ہے جسے سب پر درجوں بلند کیا اور ہم نے مریم کے بیٹے عیسیٰ کو کھلی نشانیاں دیں اور پاکیزہ روح سے اس کی مدد کی اور اللہ چاہتا تو ان کے بعد والے آپس میں نہ لڑتے نہ اس کے کہ ان کے پاس کھلی نشانیاں آچکیں لیکن وہ مختلف ہوگئے ان میں کوئی ایمان پر رہا اور کوئی کافر ہوگیا اور اللہ چاہتا تو وہ نہ لڑتے مگر اللہ جو چاہے کرے

mediation;

وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
and the denying people
هُمُ
are
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
the delusional ones.

٢٥٤
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌۭ لَّا بَيْعٌۭ فِيهِ وَلَا خُلَّةٌۭ وَلَا شَفَٰعَةٌۭ ۗ وَٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
O you of the ones who are convinced channelize from that which We provide as sustenance of before that comes to you a day when nothing could be purchased in it, and no friendship, and no mediation; and the denying people are the delusional ones.

O ye who believe! spend of that wherewith We have provided you ere a day come when there will be no trafficking, nor friendship, nor intercession. The disbelievers, they are the wrong-doers.

His knowledge

wider beyond is
كُرْسِيُّهُ
His domain (than)
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the atmospheres
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
and the matter;
ۖ
وَلَا
and not
يَـُٔودُهُۥ
is tiring for Him
حِفْظُهُمَا
protecting them both;
ۚ
وَهُوَ
and He is
ٱلْعَلِىُّ
the One Above All Things,
ٱلْعَظِيمُ
the One who is Most Glorious.

٢٥٥
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْحَىُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٌۭ وَلَا نَوْمٌۭ ۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِۦ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍۢ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
The One is — no unchallenged master except He who is always alive, the firmly established; not overtakes Him slumber nor sleep, for Him is what is within the heavens and what is within the Land, who can be that who could mediate in front of Him, except by His consent? He knows what is between their hands (in front of them) and what is behind them; and not they encompass about a thing of His knowledge except with what He wills, wider beyond is His domain (than) the atmospheres and the matter; and not is tiring for Him protecting them both; and He is the One Above All Things, the One who is Most Glorious.

Allah! There is no deity save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. Who is he that intercedeth with Him save by His leave? He knoweth that which is in front of them and that which is behind them, while they encompass nothing of His knowledge save what He will. His throne includeth the heavens and the earth, and He is never weary of preserving them. He is the Sublime, the Tremendous.

No one can intercede with Him for others except by His permission. He knows about people's present and past. No one can grasp anything from His knowledge besides what He has permitted them to grasp. The heavens and the earth are under His dominion. He does not experience fatigue in preserving them both. He is the Highest and the Greatest.

اللہ، وہ زندہ جاوید ہستی، جو تمام کائنات کو سنبھالے ہوئے ہے، اُس کے سوا کوئی خدا نہیں ہے وہ نہ سوتا ہے اور نہ اُسے اونگھ لگتی ہے زمین اور آسمانوں میں جو کچھ ہے، اُسی کا ہے کون ہے جو اُس کی جناب میں اُس کی اجازت کے بغیر سفارش کر سکے؟ جو کچھ بندوں کے سامنے ہے اسے بھی وہ جانتا ہے اور جو کچھ اُن سے اوجھل ہے، اس سے بھی وہ واقف ہے اور اُس کی معلومات میں سے کوئی چیز اُن کی گرفت ادراک میں نہیں آسکتی الّا یہ کہ کسی چیز کا علم وہ خود ہی اُن کو دینا چاہے اُس کی حکومت آسمانوں اور زمین پر چھائی ہوئی ہے اور اُن کی نگہبانی اس کے لیے کوئی تھکا دینے والا کام نہیں ہے بس وہی ایک بزرگ و برتر ذات ہے

اللہ (ہی وہ ذات) ہے۔ جس کے علاوہ کوئی الٰہ نہیں ہے۔ زندہ (جاوید) ہے۔ جو (ساری کائنات کا) بندوبست کرنے والا ہے۔ اسے نہ اونگھ آتی ہے اور نہ نیند۔ جو کچھ آسمانوں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے وہ سب اسی کا ہے۔ کون ہے جو اس کی (پیشگی) اجازت کے بغیر اس کی بارگاہ میں (کسی کی) سفارش کرے؟ جو کچھ بندوں کے سامنے ہے وہ اسے بھی جانتا ہے۔ اور جو کچھ ان کے پیچھے ہے اسے بھی جانتا ہے۔ اور وہ (بندے) اس کے علم میں سے کسی چیز (ذرا) پر بھی احاطہ نہیں کر سکتے۔ مگر جس قدر وہ چاہے۔ اس کی کرسی (علم و اقتدار) آسمان و زمین کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔ ان دونوں (آسمان و زمین) کی نگہداشت اس پر گراں نہیں گزرتی وہ برتر ہے اور بڑی عظمت والا ہے۔

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.
