And ifyou bring tothe ones who,have been giventhe Book,with all ofsigns,notthey will followyour direction,and neither areyouto followtheir direction,noreven others of themare followingdirection ofother ones (everyone is in a disarray);and ifyou adhere totheir whimsfromafterwhathas come to youofthe knowledge,then youin that case will beof those who arethe people in darkness.
And even if thou broughtest unto those who have received the Scripture all kinds of portents, they would not follow thy qiblah, nor canst thou be a follower of their qiblah; nor are some of them followers of the qiblah of others. And if thou shouldst follow their desires after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, then surely wert thou of the evil-doers.

اور جہاں سے بھی تمہارا گزر ہو، اپنا رُخ مسجد حرام کی طرف پھیرا کرو، اور جہاں بھی تم ہو، اُسی کی طرف منہ کر کے نما ز پڑھو تاکہ لوگوں کو تمہارے خلاف کوئی حجت نہ ملے ہاں جو ظالم ہیں، اُن کی زبان کسی حال میں بند نہ ہوگی تو اُن سے تم نہ ڈرو، بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو اور اس لیے کہ میں تم پر اپنی نعمت پوری کر دوں اور اس توقع پر کہ میرے اس حکم کی پیروی سے تم اسی طرح فلاح کا راستہ پاؤ گے

اور آپ جب بھی کہیں نکلیں تو (نماز کے وقت) اپنا منہ مسجد الحرام کی طرف ہی موڑیں اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم بھی جہاں کہیں ہو (نماز کے وقت) اپنے مونہوں کو اسی (مسجد الحرام) کی طرف ہی کر لیا کرو۔ (اس حکم کی بار بار تکرار سے ایک غرض یہ ہے کہ) تاکہ لوگوں (مخالفین) کو تمہارے خلاف کوئی دلیل نہ ملے۔ سوا ان لوگوں کے لیے جو ظالم ہیں (کہ ان کی زبان تو کسی طرح بھی بند نہیں ہو سکتی)۔ تو تم ان سے نہ ڈرو بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو (دوسری غرض یہ ہے) کہ تم پر میری نعمت تام و تمام ہو جائے (اور تیسری غرض یہ ہے) کہ شاید تم ہدایت یافتہ ہو جاؤ ۔

(اے مسلمانو!) یہ تحویل قبلہ تم پر ایسا احسان ہے جس طرح ہم نے تمہارے درمیان تم ہی میں سے ایک پیغمبر بھیجا ہے۔ جو تمہیں ہماری آیات پڑھ کر سناتا ہے اور تمہیں (بدعقیدتی، بدعملی اور بداخلاقی کی نجاست و کثافت) سے پاک کرتا ہے اور تمہیں کتاب و حکمت کی تعلیم دیتا ہے۔ اور تمہیں وہ باتیں سکھاتا ہے جو تم نہیں جانتے تھے ۔

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:
1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc. 2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.
