قَدْ
Surely
نَرَىٰ
We see
تَقَلُّبَ
back and forth of
وَجْهِكَ
your attention
فِى
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
the atmosphere;
ۖ
فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ
so We attach you to
قِبْلَةًۭ
a centre
تَرْضَىٰهَا
that shall make you content;
ۚ
فَوَلِّ
thus turn
وَجْهَكَ
your target
شَطْرَ
towards
ٱلْمَسْجِدِ
the Institute of
ٱلْحَرَامِ
Inviolation;
ۚ
وَحَيْثُ
and wherever
مَا
however
كُنتُمْ
you happen to be
فَوَلُّوا۟
thus turn
وُجُوهَكُمْ
your collective attentions
شَطْرَهُۥ
towards it.
ۗ
وَإِنَّ
And it is that
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
أُوتُوا۟
were given
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book,
لَيَعْلَمُونَ
for sure know that
أَنَّهُ
it is
ٱلْحَقُّ
the truth
مِن
from
رَّبِّهِمْ
their Lord;
ۗ
وَمَا
and not is
ٱللَّهُ
the One
بِغَٰفِلٍ
with unawareness
عَمَّا
over what
يَعْمَلُونَ
they are doing.
٢
١٤٤
قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ ۖ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةًۭ تَرْضَىٰهَا ۚ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ ۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ لَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ Surely We see back and forth of your attention in the atmosphere; so We attach you to a centre that shall make you content; thus turn your target towards the Institute of Inviolation; and wherever however you happen to be thus turn your collective attentions towards it. And it is that the ones who were given the Book, for sure know that it is the truth from their Lord; and not is the One with unawareness over what they are doing.

We have seen the turning of thy face to heaven (for guidance, O Muhammad). And now verily We shall make thee turn (in prayer) toward a qiblah which is dear to thee. So turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship, and ye (O Muslims), wheresoever ye may be, turn your faces (when ye pray) toward it. Lo! Those who have received the Scripture know that (this revelation) is the Truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

We certainly see you turning your face about in the sky. We will surely turn you to a qiblah of your liking: so turn your face towards the Holy Mosque, and wherever you may be, turn your faces towards it! Indeed those who were given the Book surely know that it is the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not oblivious of what they do. - Qarai, Ali Quli

We certainly saw you (Muhammad) often turn your face to the sky, so We shall instruct you to face a qibla that you will like. (Muhammad) during prayer, turn your face towards the Sacred Mosque (in Makkah). Muslims, also, wherever you are, during your prayers, turn your faces towards the Sacred Mosque. The People of the Book certainly know that this command (to change the qibla) is truly from their Lord. God is not unaware of what they do. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Indeed We see the turning of your face to heaven, so We shall surely turn you to a qiblah which you shall like; turn then your face towards the Sacred Mosque, and wherever you are, turn your face towards it, and those who have been given the Book most surely know that it is the truth from their Lord; and Allah is not at all heedless of what they do. - Shakir, Habib

We have frequently seen you turn your face towards heaven. So We will make you turn in a direction for prayer that will please you. So turn your face now towards the Sacred Mosque: and wherever you may be, turn your faces towards it. Those who were given the Book know this to be the truth from their Lord. اے رسول ہم آپ کی توجہ کو آسمان کی طرف دیکھ رہے ہیں تو ہم عنقریب آپ کو اس قبلہ کی طرف موڑ دیں گے جسے آپ پسند کرتے ہیں لہٰذا آپ اپنا رخ مسجدالحرام کی جہت کی طرف موڑ دیجئے اور جہاں بھی رہئے اسی طرف رخ کیجئے. اہلِ کتاب خوب جانتے ہیں کہ خدا کی طرف سے یہی برحق ہے اور اللہ ان لوگوں کے اعمال سے غافل نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ تمہارے منہ کا بار بار آسمان کی طرف اٹھنا ہم دیکھ رہے ہیں لو، ہم اُسی قبلے کی طرف تمہیں پھیرے دیتے ہیں، جسے تم پسند کرتے ہو مسجد حرام کی طرف رُخ پھیر دو اب جہاں کہیں تم ہو، اُسی کی طرف منہ کر کے نماز پڑھا کرو یہ لوگ جںہیں کتاب دی گئی تھی، خو ب جانتے ہیں کہ (تحویل قبلہ کا) یہ حکم ان کے رب ہی کی طرف سے ہے اور بر حق ہے، مگرا س کے باوجود جو کچھ یہ کر رہے ہیں، اللہ اس سے غافل نہیں ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ہم دیکھ رہے ہیں بار بار تمہارا آسمان کی طرف منہ کرنا تو ضرور ہم تمہیں پھیردیں گے اس قبلہ کی طرف جس میں تمہاری خوشی ہے ابھی اپنا منہ پھیر دو مسجد حرام کی طرف اور اے مسلمانو! تم جہاں کہیں ہو اپنا منہ اسی کی طرف کرو اور وہ جنہیں کتاب ملی ہے ضرور جانتے کہ یہ انکے رب کی طرف سے حق ہے اور اللہ ان کے کوتکوں (اعمال) سے بے خبر نہیں- - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول(ص)) تحویل قبلہ کی خاطر) تیرا بار بار آسمان کی طرف منہ کرنا ہم دیکھ رہے ہیں۔ تو ضرور اب ہم تمہیں موڑ دیں گے اس قبلہ کی طرف جو تمہیں پسند ہے۔ بس اپنا رخ مسجد الحرام کی طرف موڑ دیجئے۔ اور (اے اہل ایمان) تم جہاں کہیں بھی ہو اپنے منہ (نماز پڑھتے وقت) اسی طرف کیا کرو۔ جن لوگوں کو (آسمانی) کتاب (تورات وغیرہ) دی گئی ہے وہ بخوبی جانتے ہیں کہ یہ (تحویل قبلہ کا فیصلہ) ان کے پروردگار کی طرف سے ہے اور یہ حق ہے۔ اور جو کچھ (یہ لوگ) کر رہے ہیں اللہ اس سے بے خبر نہیں ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَلَئِنْ
And if
أَتَيْتَ
you bring to
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who,
أُوتُوا۟
have been given
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book,
بِكُلِّ
with all of
ءَايَةٍۢ
signs,
مَّا
not
تَبِعُوا۟
they will follow
قِبْلَتَكَ
your direction,
ۚ
وَمَآ
and neither are
أَنتَ
you
بِتَابِعٍۢ
to follow
قِبْلَتَهُمْ
their direction,
ۚ
وَمَا
nor
بَعْضُهُم
even others of them
بِتَابِعٍۢ
are following
قِبْلَةَ
direction of
بَعْضٍۢ
other ones (everyone is in a disarray);
ۚ
وَلَئِنِ
and if
ٱتَّبَعْتَ
you adhere to
أَهْوَآءَهُم
their whims
مِّنۢ
from
بَعْدِ
after
مَا
what
جَآءَكَ
has come to you
مِنَ
of
ٱلْعِلْمِ
the knowledge,
ۙ
إِنَّكَ
then you
إِذًۭا
in that case will be
لَّمِنَ
of those who are
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the people in darkness.
٢
١٤٥
وَلَئِنْ أَتَيْتَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِكُلِّ ءَايَةٍۢ مَّا تَبِعُوا۟ قِبْلَتَكَ ۚ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِتَابِعٍۢ قِبْلَتَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا بَعْضُهُم بِتَابِعٍۢ قِبْلَةَ بَعْضٍۢ ۚ وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم مِّنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ ۙ إِنَّكَ إِذًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ And if you bring to the ones who, have been given the Book, with all of signs, not they will follow your direction, and neither are you to follow their direction, nor even others of them are following direction of other ones (everyone is in a disarray); and if you adhere to their whims from after what has come to you of the knowledge, then you in that case will be of those who are the people in darkness.

And even if thou broughtest unto those who have received the Scripture all kinds of portents, they would not follow thy qiblah, nor canst thou be a follower of their qiblah; nor are some of them followers of the qiblah of others. And if thou shouldst follow their desires after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, then surely wert thou of the evil-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Even if you bring those who were given the Book every [kind of] sign, they will not follow your qiblah. Nor shall you follow their qiblah, nor will any of them follow the qiblah of the other. And if you follow their desires, after the knowledge that has come to you, you will be one of the wrongdoers. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Even if you were to bring all kinds of authoritative proof to the People of the Book, they still would not accept your qibla, nor would you accept theirs, nor would they accept each others. Were you to follow their desires after all the knowledge that has come to you, you would certainly have been one of the unjust. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And even if you bring to those who have been given the Book every sign they would not follow your qiblah, nor can you be a follower of their qiblah, neither are they the followers of each other's qiblah, and if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, then you shall most surely be among the unjust. - Shakir, Habib

But even if you should produce every kind of sign for those who have been given the Book, they would never accept your prayer direction, nor would you accept their prayer direction: nor would any of them accept one another's direction. If, after all the knowledge you have been given, you yield to their desires, then, you shall surely become a transgressor. - Wahiduddin Khan

اگر آپ ان اہلِ کتاب کے پاس تمام آیتیں بھی پیش کردیں کہ یہ آپ کے قبلہ کو مان لیں تو ہرگز نہ مانیں گے اور آپ بھی ان کے قبلہ کو نہ مانیں گے اور یہ آپس میں بھی ایک دوسرے کے قبلہ کو نہیں مانتے اور علم کے آجانے کے بعد اگر آپ ان کی خواہشات کا اتباع کرلیں گے تو آپ کا شمار ظالموں میں ہوجائے گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

تم ان اہل کتاب کے پاس خواہ کوئی نشانی لے آؤ، ممکن نہیں کہ یہ تمہارے قبلے کی پیروی کرنے لگیں، اور نہ تمہارے لیے یہ ممکن ہے کہ ان کے قبلے کی پیروی کرو، اور ان میں سے کوئی گروہ بھی دوسرے کے قبلے کی پیروی کے لیے تیار نہیں ہے، او ر اگر تم نے اس علم کے بعد جو تمہارے پاس آ چکا ہے، ان کی خواہشات کی پیروی کی، تو یقیناً تمہارا شمار ظالموں میں ہوگا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اگر تم ان کتابیوں کے پاس ہر نشانی لے کر آ ؤ وہ تمہارے قبلہ کی پیروی نہ کریں گے اور نہ تم ان کے قبلہ کی پیروی کرو اور وہ آپس میں بھی ایک دوسرے کے قبلہ کے تابع نہیں اور (اے سننے والے کسے باشد) اگر تو ان کی خواہشوں پر چلا بعد اس کے کہ تجھے علم مل چکا تو اس وقت تو ضرور ستم گر ہوگا۔ - Ahmed Raza

اور اگر آپ اہل کتاب کے سامنے سارے معجزے (دنیا جہان کے سارے دلائل) پیش کر دیں۔ تب بھی وہ آپ کے قبلہ کی پیروی نہیں کریں گے۔ اور نہ ہی آپ ان کے قبلہ کی پیروی کریں گے۔ اور وہ خود بھی ایک دوسرے کے قبلہ کو نہ مانتے ہیں اور نہ پیروی کرتے ہیں۔ اور اس علم کے بعد جو (منجانب اللہ) تمہارے پاس آچکا ہے اگر ان لوگوں کی خواہشات کی پیروی کروگے تو تمہارا شمار ظالموں (حد سے تجاوز کرنے والوں) میں ہو جائے گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

The ones
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ
to whom We gave
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ
know it
كَمَا
as how
يَعْرِفُونَ
they know
أَبْنَآءَهُمْ
their own offsprings;
ۖ
وَإِنَّ
and that
فَرِيقًۭا
sectarians
مِّنْهُمْ
from them
لَيَكْتُمُونَ
attempt to hide
ٱلْحَقَّ
the truth
وَهُمْ
while they
يَعْلَمُونَ
know.
٢
١٤٦
ٱلَّذِينَ ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَعْرِفُونَهُۥ كَمَا يَعْرِفُونَ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًۭا مِّنْهُمْ لَيَكْتُمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ The ones to whom We gave the Book know it as how they know their own offsprings; and that sectarians from them attempt to hide the truth while they know.

Those unto whom We gave the Scripture recognise (this revelation) as they recognise their sons. But lo! a party of them knowingly conceal the truth. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Those whom We have given the Book recognize him just as they recognize their sons, but a part of them indeed conceal the truth while they know. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Those to whom We have given the Book (Bible), know you (Muhammad) just as a well as they know their sons. It is certain that some of them deliberately hide the truth. - Sarwar, Muhammad

Those whom We have given the Book recognize him as they recognize their sons, and a party of them most surely conceal the truth while they know (it). - Shakir, Habib

Those to whom We have given the Book recognize it just as they recognize their own sons. But, some of them knowingly conceal the truth. - Wahiduddin Khan

جن لوگوں کو ہم نے کتاب دی ہے وہ رسول کو بھی اپنی اولاد کی طرح پہچانتے ہیں. بس ان کا ایک گروہ ہے جو حق کو دیدہ و دانستہ چھپا رہا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

جن لوگوں کو ہم نے کتاب دی ہے، وہ اِس مقام کو (جسے قبلہ بنایا گیا ہے) ایسا پہچانتے ہیں، جیسا اپنی اولاد کو پہچانتے ہیں مگر ان میں سے ایک گروہ جانتے بوجھتے حق کو چھپا رہا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

جنہیں ہم نے کتاب عطا فرمائی وہ اس نبی کو ایسا پہچانتے ہیں جیسے آدمی اپنے بیٹوں کو پہچانتا ہے اور بیشک ان میں ایک گروہ جان بوجھ کر حق چھپاتے ہیں - - Ahmed Raza

جن لوگوں کو ہم نے کتاب (تورات وغیرہ) دی ہے وہ اس (رسول(ص)) کو اس طرح پہچانتے ہیں، جس طرح اپنی اولاد کو پہچانتے ہیں (مگر اس کے باوجود) ان کا ایک گروہ جان بوجھ کر حق کو چھپا رہا ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

ٱلْحَقُّ
The Truth is
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Rabb,
ۖ
فَلَا
so do not
تَكُونَنَّ
you become
مِنَ
from
ٱلْمُمْتَرِينَ
the disputers.
The Truth is from your Rabb, so do not you become from the disputers.

It is the Truth from thy Lord (O Muhammad), so be not thou of those who waver. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

This is the truth from your Lord; so do not be among the skeptics. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Never doubt that the essence of truth comes from your Lord - Sarwar, Muhammad

The truth is from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the doubters. - Shakir, Habib

Truth is what comes from your Lord; therefore, do not be of those who doubt. - Wahiduddin Khan

اے رسول یہ حق آپ کے پروردگار کی طرف سے ہے لہٰذاآپ ان شک وشبہ کرنے والوں میں نہ ہوجائیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

یہ قطعی ایک امر حق ہے تمہارے رب کی طرف سے، لہٰذا اس کے متعلق تم ہرگز کسی شک میں نہ پڑو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

(اے سننے والو) یہ حق ہے تیرے رب کی طرف سے (یا حق وہی ہے جو تیرے رب کی طرف سے ہو) تو خبردار توشک نہ کرنا - - Ahmed Raza

(اے رسول(ص)! تحویل قبلہ وغیرہ) برحق ہے اور تمہارے پروردگار کی طرف سے ہے لہٰذا ہرگز شک و شبہ کرنے والوں یا جھگڑا کرنے والوں میں سے نہ ہونا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

And for everyone is
وِجْهَةٌ
an aim
هُوَ
he
مُوَلِّيهَا
to which turns,
ۖ
فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟
so you proceed towards
ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ
the betterments;
ۚ
أَيْنَ
wherever,
مَا
however
تَكُونُوا۟
you are,
يَأْتِ
will bring
بِكُمُ
about you all
ٱللَّهُ
— the One —
جَمِيعًا
collectively;
ۚ
إِنَّ
surely
ٱللَّهَ
the One
عَلَىٰ
upon
كُلِّ
all
شَىْءٍۢ
things is
قَدِيرٌۭ
competent.
٢
١٤٨
وَلِكُلٍّۢ وِجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا ۖ فَٱسْتَبِقُوا۟ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ ۚ أَيْنَ مَا تَكُونُوا۟ يَأْتِ بِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ قَدِيرٌۭ And for everyone is an aim he to which turns, so you proceed towards the betterments; wherever, however you are, will bring about you all — the One — collectively; surely the One upon all things is competent.

And each one hath a goal toward which he turneth; so vie with one another in good works. Wheresoever ye may be, Allah will bring you all together. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Inviolation;
ۖ
وَإِنَّهُۥ
and indeed it is
لَلْحَقُّ
of the truth
مِن
from
رَّبِّكَ
your Rabb!
ۗ
وَمَا
And not is
ٱللَّهُ
the One
بِغَٰفِلٍ
with unawareness
عَمَّا
over what
تَعْمَلُونَ
you are doing.

وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ And from wherever you come from, thus turn your target towards the Institute of Inviolation; and indeed it is of the truth from your Rabb! And not is the One with unawareness over what you are doing.

And whencesoever thou comest forth (for prayer, O Muhammad) turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship. Lo! it is the Truth from thy Lord. Allah is not unaware of what ye do. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Inviolation;
ۚ
وَحَيْثُ
And wherever
مَا
however
كُنتُمْ
you happen to be,
فَوَلُّوا۟
thus turn
وُجُوهَكُمْ
your collective attentions
شَطْرَهُۥ
towards it,
لِئَلَّا
so that not
يَكُونَ
there be
لِلنَّاسِ
for the general populace
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
حُجَّةٌ
any argument,
إِلَّا
except by
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ظَلَمُوا۟
are in darkness
مِنْهُمْ
from them;
فَلَا
thus not
تَخْشَوْهُمْ
you fear them
وَٱخْشَوْنِى
and fear Me,
وَلِأُتِمَّ
and to complete
نِعْمَتِى
My favour
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you,
وَلَعَلَّكُمْ
and in order for you to
تَهْتَدُونَ
be guided.

١٥٠
وَمِنْ حَيْثُ خَرَجْتَ فَوَلِّ وَجْهَكَ شَطْرَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ ۚ وَحَيْثُ مَا كُنتُمْ فَوَلُّوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُۥ لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَٱخْشَوْنِى وَلِأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِى عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ And from wherever you originate from, thus turn your aim towards the Institute of Inviolation; And wherever however you happen to be, thus turn your collective attentions towards it, so that not there be for the general populace upon you any argument, except by the ones who are in darkness from them; thus not you fear them and fear Me, and to complete My favour upon you, and in order for you to be guided.

Whencesoever thou comest forth turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship; and wheresoever ye may be (O Muslims) turn your faces toward it (when ye pray) so that men may have no argument against you, save such of them as do injustice - Fear them not, but fear Me! - and so that I may complete My grace upon you, and that ye may be guided. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

(Muhammad) wherever you go, turn your face to the Sacred Mosque and Muslims, wherever you are, turn your faces in the same direction so that no group of people, except the unjust among them, would have any reason against you and so that I may establish My commandments for your people to have proper guidance. (The unjust may criticize you) but do not fear them, fear only Me. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اور جہاں سے بھی تمہارا گزر ہو، اپنا رُخ مسجد حرام کی طرف پھیرا کرو، اور جہاں بھی تم ہو، اُسی کی طرف منہ کر کے نما ز پڑھو تاکہ لوگوں کو تمہارے خلاف کوئی حجت نہ ملے ہاں جو ظالم ہیں، اُن کی زبان کسی حال میں بند نہ ہوگی تو اُن سے تم نہ ڈرو، بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو اور اس لیے کہ میں تم پر اپنی نعمت پوری کر دوں اور اس توقع پر کہ میرے اس حکم کی پیروی سے تم اسی طرح فلاح کا راستہ پاؤ گے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اے محبوب تم جہاں سے آ ؤ اپنا منہ مسجد حرام کی طرف کرو اور اے مسلمانو! تم جہاں کہیں ہو اپنا منہ اسی کی طرف کرو کہ لوگوں کو تم پر کوئی حجت نہ رہے مگر جو ان میں ناانصافی کریں تو ان سے نہ ڈرو اور مجھ سے ڈرو اور یہ اس لئے ہے کہ میں اپنی نعمت تم پر پوری کروں اور کسی طرح تم ہدایت پاؤ، - Ahmed Raza

اور آپ جب بھی کہیں نکلیں تو (نماز کے وقت) اپنا منہ مسجد الحرام کی طرف ہی موڑیں اور (اے مسلمانو!) تم بھی جہاں کہیں ہو (نماز کے وقت) اپنے مونہوں کو اسی (مسجد الحرام) کی طرف ہی کر لیا کرو۔ (اس حکم کی بار بار تکرار سے ایک غرض یہ ہے کہ) تاکہ لوگوں (مخالفین) کو تمہارے خلاف کوئی دلیل نہ ملے۔ سوا ان لوگوں کے لیے جو ظالم ہیں (کہ ان کی زبان تو کسی طرح بھی بند نہیں ہو سکتی)۔ تو تم ان سے نہ ڈرو بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو (دوسری غرض یہ ہے) کہ تم پر میری نعمت تام و تمام ہو جائے (اور تیسری غرض یہ ہے) کہ شاید تم ہدایت یافتہ ہو جاؤ ۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Our signs,
وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ
and emancipates you,
وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ
and teaches you
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
and the wisdom,
وَيُعَلِّمُكُم
and teaches you
مَّا
what
لَمْ
not
تَكُونُوا۟
you were
تَعْلَمُونَ
of knowing.

١٥١
كَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولًۭا مِّنكُمْ يَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ وَيُعَلِّمُكُمُ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَيُعَلِّمُكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْلَمُونَ As how We have sent in you a messenger from you reading upon you Our signs, and emancipates you, and teaches you the Book and the wisdom, and teaches you what not you were of knowing.

Even as We have sent unto you a messenger from among you, who reciteth unto you Our revelations and causeth you to grow, and teacheth you the Scripture and wisdom, and teacheth you that which ye knew not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

be in denial.
Thus remember Me, I remember you, and be thankful for Me and do not be in denial.

لہٰذا تم مجھے یاد رکھو، میں تمہیں یاد رکھوں گا اور میرا شکر ادا کرو، کفران نعمت نہ کرو - Maududi, Abul A'ala

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you of
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
ءَامَنُوا۟
are of firm conviction!
ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟
Be aided
بِٱلصَّبْرِ
with perseverance
وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
and the disciplined unity;
ۚ
إِنَّ
surely is
ٱللَّهَ
the One
مَعَ
with
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
the persevering ones.
٢
١٥٣
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ O you of the ones who are of firm conviction! Be aided with perseverance and the disciplined unity; surely is the One with the persevering ones.

O ye who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

O you who have faith! Take recourse in patience and prayer; indeed Allah is with the patient. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Believers, help yourselves (in your affairs) through patience and prayer; God is with those who have patience. - Sarwar, Muhammad

اى | which | it is | whichever | whom | any | that is to say | namely | i.e [Cocative particle preceding a noun used in direct address. Reserved for elevated registers]
وَلَا
And do not
تَقُولُوا۟
declare
لِمَن
for those who
يُقْتَلُ
have been killed
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
path of
ٱللَّهِ
the One
أَمْوَٰتٌۢ
as dead.
ۚ
بَلْ
No!
أَحْيَآءٌۭ
They are thriving
وَلَٰكِن
when in fact
لَّا
not
تَشْعُرُونَ
you comprehend.
٢
١٥٤
وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌۭ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ And do not declare for those who have been killed in path of the One as dead. No! They are thriving when in fact not you comprehend.

And call not those who are slain in the way of Allah [dead.] Nay, they are living, only ye perceive not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Do not call those who were slain in Allah]s way [dead.] No, they are living, but you are not aware. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Do not consider those who are slain for the cause of God to be dead. They are alive but you are unaware of them. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And do not speak of those who are slain in Allah's way as dead; nay, (they are) alive, but you do not perceive. - Shakir, Habib

Do not say that those who are killed in God's cause are dead; they are alive, but you are not aware of it. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جو لوگ راہ هخدا میں قتل ہوجاتے ہیں انہیں مفِدہ نہ کہو بلکہ وہ زندہ ہیں لیکن تمہیں ان کی زندگی کا شعور نہیں ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan
