فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَكِبَا فِى ٱلسَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَا ۖ قَالَ أَخَرَقْتَهَا لِتُغْرِقَ أَهْلَهَا لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْـًٔا إِمْرًۭا

So they twain set out till, when they were in the ship, he made a hole therein. (Moses) said: Hast thou made a hole therein to drown the folk thereof? Thou verily hast done a dreadful thing.

So they went on and when they boarded the boat, he made a hole in it. He said, [Did you make a hole in it to drown its people? You have certainly done a monstrous thing!]

They started their journey and some time latter they embarked in a boat in which he made a hole. Moses asked him, [Did you make the hole to drown the people on board? This is certainly very strange].

So they went (their way) until when they embarked in the boat he made a hole in it. (Musa) said: Have you made a hole in it to drown its inmates? Certainly you have done a grievous thing.

اب وہ دونوں روانہ ہوئے، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ ایک کشتی میں سوار ہو گئے تو اس شخص نے کشتی میں شگاف ڈال دیا موسیٰؑ نے کہا ——آپ نے اس میں شگاف ڈال دیا تاکہ سب کشتی والوں کو ڈبو دیں؟ یہ تو آپ نے ایک سخت حرکت کر ڈالی——

اس کے بعد دونوں چل پڑے یہاں تک کہ جب کشتی میں سوار ہوگئے تو خضر (ع) نے اس میں سوراخ کر دیا۔ موسیٰ نے کہا۔ آپ نے اس لئے کشتی میں سوراخ کیا ہے کہ سب کشتی والوں کو غرق کر دیں؟ آپ نے بڑی عجیب حرکت کی ہے۔

فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا لَقِيَا غُلَٰمًۭا فَقَتَلَهُۥ قَالَ أَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًۭا زَكِيَّةًۢ بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍۢ لَّقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْـًۭٔا نُّكْرًۭا

So they twain journeyed on till, when they met a lad, he slew him. (Moses) said: What! Hast thou slain an innocent soul who hath slain no man? Verily thou hast done a horrid thing.

So they went on until they came upon a boy, whereat he slew him. He said, [Did you slay an innocent soul, without [his having slain] anyone? You have certainly done a dire thing!]

They continued on their journey until they met a young boy whom he killed. Moses said, [How could you murder an innocent soul? This is certainly a horrible act].

پھر دونوں آگے بڑھے یہاں تک کہ ایک نوجوان نظر آیا اور اس بندہ خدا نے اسے قتل کردیا موسٰی نے کہا کہ کیا آپ نے ایک پاکیزہ نفس کو بغیر کسی نفس کے قتل کردیا ہے یہ تو بڑی عجیب سی بات ہے

پھر وہ دونوں چلے، یہاں تک کہ ان کو ایک لڑکا ملا اور اس شخص نے اسے قتل کر دیا موسیٰؑ نے کہا ——آپ نے ایک بے گناہ کی جان لے لی حالانکہ اُس نے کسی کا خون نہ کیا تھا؟ یہ کام تو آپ نے بہت ہی برا کیا——

(Moses) said: If I ask thee after this concerning aught, keep not company with me. Thou hast received an excuse from me.

فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَتَيَآ أَهْلَ قَرْيَةٍ ٱسْتَطْعَمَآ أَهْلَهَا فَأَبَوْا۟ أَن يُضَيِّفُوهُمَا فَوَجَدَا فِيهَا جِدَارًۭا يُرِيدُ أَن يَنقَضَّ فَأَقَامَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ لَوْ شِئْتَ لَتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًۭا

And they found therein a wall upon the point of falling into ruin, and he repaired it. (Moses) said: If thou hadst wished, thou couldst have taken payment for it.

پھر دونوں آگے چلتے رہے یہاں تک کہ ایک قریہ والوں تک پہنچے اور ان سے کھانا طلب کیا ان لوگوں نے مہمان بنانے سے انکار کردیا پھر دونوں نے ایک دیوار دیکھی جو قریب تھا کہ گر پڑتی - بندہ صالح نے اسے سیدھا کردیا تو موسٰی نے کہا کہ آپ چاہتے تو اس کی اجرت لے سکتے تھے
