وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ ٱلْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى ٱلْأَرْضَ بَارِزَةًۭ وَحَشَرْنَٰهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And (bethink you of) the Day when we remove the hills and ye see the earth emerging, and We gather them together so as to leave not one of them behind. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The day We shall set the mountains moving and you will see the earth in full view, We shall muster them, and We will not leave out anyone of them. - Qarai, Ali Quli

وَعُرِضُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ صَفًّۭا لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمُونَا كَمَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۭ ۚ بَلْ زَعَمْتُمْ أَلَّن نَّجْعَلَ لَكُم مَّوْعِدًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And they are set before thy Lord in ranks (and it is said unto them): Now verily have ye come unto Us as We created you at the first. But ye thought that We had set no tryst for you. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
They will be presented before your Lord in ranks: [Certainly you have come to Us just as We created you the first time. But you maintained that We shall not appoint a tryst for you.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

They will all be lined up in the presence of your Lord who will tell them, [Despite your belief that there would never be a Day of Judgment, all of you are brought in Our presence just as though We had created you for the first time. You believed that our promise could never come true.] - Sarwar, Muhammad

And they shall be brought before your Lord, standing in ranks: Now certainly you have come to Us as We created you at first. Nay, you thought that We had not appointed to you a time of the fulfillment of the promise. - Shakir, Habib

اور سب تمہارے پروردگارکے سامنے صف بستہ پیش کئے جائیں گے اورارشاد ہوگا کہ تم آج اسی طرح آئے ہو جس طرح ہم نے پہلی مرتبہ تمہیں پیدا کیا تھا لیکن تمہارا خیال تھا کہ ہم تمہارے لئے کوئی وعدہ گاہ نہیں قرار دیں گے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور سب کے سب تمہارے رب کے حضور صف در صف پیش کیے جائیں گے لو دیکھ لو، آ گئے نا تم ہمارے پاس اُسی طرح جیسا ہم نے تم کو پہلی بار پیدا کیا تھا تم نے تو یہ سمجھا تھا کہ ہم نے تمہارے لیے کوئی وعدے کا وقت مقرر ہی نہیں کیا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور سب تمہارے رب کے حضور پرا باندھے پیش ہوں گے بیشک تم ہمارے پاس ویسے ہی آئےجیسا ہم نے تمہیں پہلی بار بنایا تھا بلکہ تمہارا گمان تھا کہ ہم ہر گز تمہارے لیے کوئی وعدہ کا وقت نہ رکھیں گے، - Ahmed Raza

وَوُضِعَ ٱلْكِتَٰبُ فَتَرَى ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا فِيهِ وَيَقُولُونَ يَٰوَيْلَتَنَا مَالِ هَٰذَا ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لَا يُغَادِرُ صَغِيرَةًۭ وَلَا كَبِيرَةً إِلَّآ أَحْصَىٰهَا ۚ وَوَجَدُوا۟ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ حَاضِرًۭا ۗ وَلَا يَظْلِمُ رَبُّكَ أَحَدًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And the Book is placed, and thou seest the guilty fearful of that which is therein, and they say: What kind of a Book is this that leaveth not a small thing nor a great thing but hath counted it! And they find all that they did confronting them, and thy Lord wrongeth no-one. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

The Book will be set up. Then you will see the guilty apprehensive of what is in it. They will say, [Woe to us! What a book is this! It omits nothing, big or small, without enumerating it.] They will find present whatever they had done, and your Lord does not wrong anyone. - Qarai, Ali Quli

When the record of every one's deeds is placed before him, you will see the criminals terrified from what the record contains. They will say, [Woe to us! What kind of record is this that has missed nothing small or great?] They will find whatever they have done right before their very eyes. Your Lord is not unjust to any one. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And the Book shall be placed, then you will see the guilty fearing from what is in it, and they will say: Ah! woe to us! what a book is this! it does not omit a small one nor a great one, but numbers them (all); and what they had done they shall find present (there); and your Lord does not deal unjustly with anyone. - Shakir, Habib

The Book [of deeds] will be placed before them and you will see the guilty apprehensive about its contents. They will say, [Woe to us! What a record this is! It does not leave any deed, small or large, unaccounted for!] They will find everything they ever did laid in front of them: your Lord will not be unjust to anyone. - Wahiduddin Khan

اور جب نامئہ اعمال سامنے رکھا جائے گا تو دیکھو گے کہ مجرمین اس کے مندرجات کو دیکھ کر خوفزدہ ہوں گے اور کہیں گے کہ ہائے افسوس اس کتاب نے تو چھوٹا بڑا کچھ نہیں چھوڑا ہے اور سب کو جمع کرلیا ہے اور سب اپنے اعمال کو بالکل حاضر پائیں گے اور تمہارا پروردگار کسی ایک پر بھی ظلم نہیں کرتا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور نامہ اعمال سامنے رکھ دیا جائے گا اس وقت تم دیکھو گے کہ مجرم لوگ اپنی کتاب زندگی کے اندراجات سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے اور کہہ رہے ہوں گے کہ ہائے ہماری کم بختی، یہ کیسی کتاب ہے کہ ہماری کوئی چھوٹی بڑی حرکت ایسی نہیں رہی جو اس میں درج نہ ہو گئی ہو جو جو کچھ انہوں نے کیا تھا وہ سب اپنے سامنے حاضر پائیں گے اور تیرا رب کسی پر ذرا ظلم نہ کرے گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور نامہٴ اعمال رکھا جائے گا تو تم مجرموں کو دیکھو گے کہ اس کے لکھے سے ڈرتے ہوں گے اور کہیں گے ہائے خرابی ہماری اس نوشتہ کو کیا ہوا نہ اس نے کوئی چھوٹا گناہ چھوڑا نہ بڑا جسے گھیر لیا ہو اور اپنا سب کیا انہوں نے سامنے پایا، اور تمہارا رب کسی پر ظلم نہیں کرتا - Ahmed Raza

اور نامۂ اعمال (سامنے) رکھ دیا جائے گا اور تم دیکھو گے کہ مجرم لوگ اس کے مندرجات سے ڈر رہے ہوں گے اور کہتے ہوں گے۔ ہائے ہماری کم بختی! یہ کیسا نامۂ عمل ہے؟ جس نے (ہمارا) کوئی چھوٹا بڑا (گناہ) نہیں چھوڑا مگر سب کو درج کر لیا ہے۔ اور جو کچھ ان لوگوں نے کیا تھا وہ سب اپنے اپنے سامنے پائیں گے اور تمہارا پروردگار کسی پر ظلم نہیں کرتا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِۦٓ ۗ أَفَتَتَّخِذُونَهُۥ وَذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِى وَهُمْ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّۢ ۚ بِئْسَ لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ بَدَلًۭا [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And (remember) when We said unto the angels: Fall prostrate before Adam, and they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He was of the jinn, so he rebelled against his Lord's command. Will ye choose him and his seed for your protecting friends instead of Me, when they are an enemy unto you? Calamitous is the exchange for evil-doers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

When We said to the angels, [Prostrate before Adam,] they prostrated, but not Iblis. He was one of the jinn, so he transgressed against his Lord]s command. Will you then take him and his offspring for guardians in My stead, though they are your enemies? How evil a substitute for the wrongdoers! - Qarai, Ali Quli

When We told the angels to prostrate before Adam they all obeyed except Iblis. He was a jinn and he sinned against the command of his Lord. Why do you (people) obey him and his offspring instead of Me, even though they are your enemies? How terrible will be the recompense that the wrong doers will receive! - Sarwar, Muhammad

And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam; they made obeisance but Iblis (did it not). He was of the jinn, so he transgressed the commandment of his Lord. What! would you then take him and his offspring for friends rather than Me, and they are your enemies? Evil is (this) change for the unjust. - Shakir, Habib

And (be mindful of) the Day when He will say: Call those partners of Mine whom ye pretended. Then they will cry unto them, but they will not hear their prayer, and We shall set a gulf of doom between them. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And the guilty behold the Fire and know that they are about to fall therein, and they find no way of escape thence. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

examples;

وَكَانَ
while has been,
ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
the human, of
أَكْثَرَ
many
شَىْءٍۢ
things,
جَدَلًۭا
argumentative.

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِى هَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ لِلنَّاسِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍۢ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَكْثَرَ شَىْءٍۢ جَدَلًۭا And for certain We have made distinct in this Proclamatory Reading for the people from all examples; while has been, the human, of many things, argumentative.

And verily We have displayed for mankind in this Qur'an all manner of similitudes, but man is more than anything contentious. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

the guidance,
وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟
and that they ask for forgiveness of
رَبَّهُمْ
their Rabb,
إِلَّآ
except
أَن
that
تَأْتِيَهُمْ
they're presented with
سُنَّةُ
ways of
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
the former people
أَوْ
or
يَأْتِيَهُمُ
comes to them
ٱلْعَذَابُ
the punishment
قُبُلًۭا
of before.

وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ رَبَّهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ سُنَّةُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ قُبُلًۭا And not prevented the people that they have conviction when came to them the guidance, and that they ask for forgiveness of their Rabb, except that they're presented with ways of the former people or comes to them the punishment of before.

And naught hindereth mankind from believing when the guidance cometh unto them, and from asking forgiveness of their Lord unless (it be that they wish) that the judgment of the men of old should come upon them or (that) they should be confronted with the Doom. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Nothing has kept these people from believing and pleading to their Lord for forgiveness when guidance came to them, except [their demand] that the precedent of the ancients come to pass for them, or that the punishment come to them, face to face. - Qarai, Ali Quli

What prevents people from having faith when guidance comes to them or from asking for forgiveness from their Lord before they face the kind of torment that the ancient people experienced or a new form of torment. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And nothing prevents men from believing when the guidance comes to them, and from asking forgiveness of their Lord, except that what happened to the ancients should overtake them, or that the chastisement should come face to face with them. - Shakir, Habib

Nothing prevents people from believing when they are given guidance or from asking forgiveness of their Lord, but the fact that the fate of the previous peoples should befall them or to have the punishment come upon them face to face. - Wahiduddin Khan

اُن کے سامنے جب ہدایت آئی تو اسے ماننے اور اپنے رب کے حضور معافی چاہنے سے آخر اُن کوکس چیز نے روک دیا؟ اِس کے سوا اور کچھ نہیں کہ وہ منتظر ہیں کہ اُن کے ساتھ بھی وہی کچھ ہو جو پچھلی قوموں کے ساتھ ہو چکا ہے، یا یہ کہ وہ عذاب کو سامنے آتے دیکھ لیں! - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَمَا
And not
نُرْسِلُ
We send
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
the Messengers
إِلَّا
except
مُبَشِّرِينَ
as bearers of good news
وَمُنذِرِينَ
and bearers of warnings,
ۚ
وَيُجَٰدِلُ
while argue,
ٱلَّذِينَ
the ones who
كَفَرُوا۟
are in denial,
بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ
with fiction,
لِيُدْحِضُوا۟
for disproving
بِهِ
with it
ٱلْحَقَّ
the fact,
ۖ
وَٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟
and they take
ءَايَٰتِى
My signs,
وَمَآ
and what
أُنذِرُوا۟
they're warned for,
هُزُوًۭا
as mockery.

وَمَا نُرْسِلُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ ۚ وَيُجَٰدِلُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا۟ بِهِ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ وَٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِى وَمَآ أُنذِرُوا۟ هُزُوًۭا And not We send the Messengers except as bearers of good news and bearers of warnings, while argue, the ones who are in denial, with fiction, for disproving with it the fact, and they take My signs, and what they're warned for, as mockery.

We send not the messengers save as bearers of good news and warners. Those who disbelieve contend with falsehood in order to refute the Truth thereby. And they take Our revelations and that wherewith they are threatened as a jest. - Pickthall, Marmaduke
