وَقَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّىٰ تَفْجُرَ لَنَا مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ يَنۢبُوعًا

And they say: We will not put faith in thee till thou cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us;

Or thou have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth therein abundantly;

Or thou cause the heaven to fall upon us piecemeal, as thou hast pretended, or bring Allah and the angels as a warrant;

أَوْ يَكُونَ لَكَ بَيْتٌۭ مِّن زُخْرُفٍ أَوْ تَرْقَىٰ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَلَن نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتَّىٰ تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتَٰبًۭا نَّقْرَؤُهُۥ ۗ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّى هَلْ كُنتُ إِلَّا بَشَرًۭا رَّسُولًۭا

Or thou have a house of gold; or thou ascend up into heaven, and even then we will put no faith in thine ascension till thou bring down for us a book that we can read. Say (O Muhammad): My Lord be Glorified! Am I aught save a mortal messenger?

Or until you have a house of gold, or you ascend into the sky. And we will not believe your ascension until you bring down for us a book that we may read.] Say, [Immaculate is my Lord! Am I anything but a human apostle?!]

or (show us) that you have a well adorned house of your own, or climb into the sky. We shall never believe that you have climbed into the sky until you bring us a book that we can read.] Say, [All glory belongs to my Lord. Am I more than a mortal Messenger?]

Or you should have a house of gold, or you should ascend into heaven, and we will not believe in your ascending until you bring down to us a book which we may read. Say: Glory be to my Lord; am I aught but a mortal apostle?

یا تمہارے پاس سونے کا کوئی مکان ہو یا تم آسمان کی بلندی پر چڑھ جاؤ اور اس بلندی پر بھی ہم ایمان نہ لائیں گے جب تک کوئی ایسی کتاب نازل نہ کردو جسے ہم پڑھ لیں آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ ہمارا پروردگار بڑا بے نیاز ہے اور میں صرف ایک بشر ہوں جسے رسول بناکر بھیجا گیا ہے

یا تیرے لیے سونے کا ایک گھر بن جائے یا تو آسمان پر چڑھ جائے، اور تیرے چڑھنے کا بھی ہم یقین نہ کریں گے جب تک کہ تو ہمارے اوپر ایک ایسی تحریر نہ اتار لائے جسے ہم پڑھیں—— اے محمدؐ، اِن سے کہو ——پاک ہے میرا پروردگار! کیا میں ایک پیغام لانے والے انسان کے سوا اور بھی کچھ ہوں؟——

یا تمہارے لیے طلائی گھر ہو یا تم آسمان پر چڑھ جاؤ اور ہم تمہارے چڑھ جانے پر بھی ہرگز ایمان نہ لائیں گے جب تک ہم پر ایک کتاب نہ اتارو جو ہم پڑھیں، تم فرماؤ پاکی ہے میرے رب کو میں کون ہوں مگر آدمی اللہ کا بھیجا ہوا

وَمَا مَنَعَ ٱلنَّاسَ أَن يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓا۟ أَبَعَثَ ٱللَّهُ بَشَرًۭا رَّسُولًۭا

And naught prevented mankind from believing when the guidance came unto them save that they said: Hath Allah sent a mortal as (His) messenger?

قُل لَّوْ كَانَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌۭ يَمْشُونَ مُطْمَئِنِّينَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَلَكًۭا رَّسُولًۭا

Say: If there were in the earth angels walking secure, We had sent down for them from heaven an angel as messenger.

Say, [Had there been angels in the earth, walking around and residing [in it like humans do], We would have sent down to them an angel from the heaven as apostle.]

This website is a work of passion. It exists only for a couple of reasons:

1) I wanted to understand the Book without involving any second-party sources of guidance i.e. exegesis, or Asbab-e-Nuzul, or extra-Quranic ahadith, etc.
2) You must also know what the bare truth is, so we can work together.

Because the process must be transparent, the entire website is available for you to download. You can go through the code, and if you can make any improvements to this process, you are most welcome to. It is a humble request to update me regarding the improvements so I can also update myself.

Due Credits:

This website was possible by help of many people and forums who helped me to learn Arabic, Philosophy, Law, Psychology, and PHP and other Web scripts. To be honest, I do not even know the names of many but I did learn from them. Some of these people were already dead by the time I read their input.

The entire code of this website is available for the same reason, that what they taught me, I can only pay it forward.

The Arabic text of the Quran was obtained from Tanzil. The additional translations were also obtained from Tanzil from this link.

The social-sharing images of verses were obtained from Legacy Quran.com, and were then resized for proper social-media display.
