وَإِنَّ لَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ لَعِبْرَةًۭ ۖ نُّسْقِيكُم مِّمَّا فِى بُطُونِهِۦ مِنۢ بَيْنِ فَرْثٍۢ وَدَمٍۢ لَّبَنًا خَالِصًۭا سَآئِغًۭا لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And lo! in the cattle there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, from betwixt the refuse and the blood, pure milk palatable to the drinkers. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

وَمِن ثَمَرَٰتِ ٱلنَّخِيلِ وَٱلْأَعْنَٰبِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًۭا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And of the fruits of the date-palm, and grapes, whence ye derive strong drink and (also) good nourishment. Lo! therein is indeed a portent for people who have sense. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

And thy Lord inspired the bee, saying: Choose thou habitations in the hills and in the trees and in that which they thatch; - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ثُمَّ كُلِى مِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ فَٱسْلُكِى سُبُلَ رَبِّكِ ذُلُلًۭا ۚ يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بُطُونِهَا شَرَابٌۭ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ فِيهِ شِفَآءٌۭ لِّلنَّاسِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

Then eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of thy Lord, made smooth (for thee). There cometh forth from their bellies a drink divers of hues, wherein is healing for mankind. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Then eat from every [kind of] fruit and follow meekly the ways of your Lord.] There issues from its belly a juice of diverse hues, in which there is a cure for the people. There is indeed a sign in that for a people who reflect. - Qarai, Ali Quli

اپنے چھتے بنا اور ہر طرح کے پھلوں کا رس چوس اور اپنے رب کی ہموار کی ہوئی راہوں پر چلتی رہ اِس مکھی کے اندر سے رنگ برنگ کا ایک شربت نکلتا ہے جس میں شفا ہے لوگوں کے لیے یقیناً اس میں بھی ایک نشانی ہے اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو غور و فکر کرتے ہیں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

وَٱللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمْ ۚ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَرْذَلِ ٱلْعُمُرِ لِكَىْ لَا يَعْلَمَ بَعْدَ عِلْمٍۢ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۭ قَدِيرٌۭ [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated] [untranslated]

And Allah createth you, then causeth you to die, and among you is he who is brought back to the most abject stage of life, so that he knoweth nothing after (having had) knowledge. Lo! Allah is Knower, Powerful. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah has created you, then He takes you away, and there are some among you who are relegated to the nethermost age so that he knows nothing after [having possessed] some knowledge. Indeed Allah is all-knowing, all-powerful. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God has created you and He causes you to die. Some of you will grow to an extremely old age and lose your memory. God is All-knowing and Almighty. - Sarwar, Muhammad

And Allah has created you, then He causes you to die, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; surely Allah is Knowing, Powerful. - Shakir, Habib

اور اللہ ہی نے تمہیں پیدا کیا ہے پھر وہ ہی وفات دیتا ہے اور بعض لوگوں کو اتنی بدترین عمر تک پلٹا دیا جاتا ہے کہ علم کے بعد بھی کچھ جاننے کے قابل نہ رہ جائیں. بیشک اللہ ہر شے کا جاننے والا اور ہر شے پر قدرت رکھنے والا ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اور دیکھو، اللہ نے تم کو پیدا کیا، پھر وہ تم کو موت دیتا ہے، اور تم میں سے کوئی بد ترین عمر کو پہنچا دیا جاتا ہے تاکہ سب کچھ جاننے کے بعد پھر کچھ نہ جانے حق یہ ہے کہ اللہ ہی علم میں بھی کامل ہے اور قدرت میں بھی - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اور اللہ نے تمہیں پیدا کیا پھر تمہاری جان قبض کرے گا اور تم میں کوئی سب سے ناقض عمر کی طرف پھیرا جاتا ہے کہ جاننے کے بعد کچھ نہ جانے بیشک اللہ کچھ جانتا ہے سب کچھ کرسکتا ہے، - Ahmed Raza

And Allah hath favoured some of you above others in provision. Now those who are more favoured will by no means hand over their provision to those (slaves) whom their right hands possess, so that they may be equal with them in respect thereof. Is it then the grace of Allah that they deny? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah has granted some of you an advantage over others in [respect of] provision. Those who have been granted an advantage do not give over their provision to their slaves so that they become equal in its respect. What, do they deny the blessing of Allah? - Qarai, Ali Quli

اور دیکھو، اللہ نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض پر رزق میں فضیلت عطا کی ہے پھر جن لوگوں کو یہ فضیلت دی گئی ہے وہ ایسے نہیں ہیں کہ اپنا رزق اپنے غلاموں کی طرف پھیر دیا کرتے ہوں تاکہ دونوں اس رزق میں برابر کے حصہ دار بن جائیں تو کیا اللہ ہی کا احسان ماننے سے اِن لوگوں کو انکار ہے؟ - Maududi, Abul A'ala

Allah coineth a similitude: (on the one hand) a (mere) chattel slave, who hath control of nothing, and (on the other hand) one on whom we have bestowed a fair provision from Us, and he spendeth thereof secretly and openly. Are they equal? Praise be to Allah! But most of them know not. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

Allah draws a parable: a slave owned [by his master] who has no power over anything, and another one [a free man] whom We have provided a goodly provision and who spends out of it secretly and openly. Are they equal? All praise belongs to Allah. But most of them do not know. - Qarai, Ali Quli

Allah sets forth a parable: (consider) a slave, the property of another, (who) has no power over anything, and one whom We have granted from Ourselves a goodly sustenance so he spends from it secretly and openly; are the two alike? اللہ ایک مثال دیتا ہے ایک تو ہے غلام، جو دوسرے کا مملوک ہے اور خود کوئی اختیار نہیں رکھتا دوسرا شخص ایسا ہے جسے ہم نے اپنی طرف سے اچھا رزق عطا کیا ہے اور وہ اس میں سے کھلے اور چھپے خوب خرچ کرتا ہے بتاؤ، کیا یہ دونوں برابر ہیں؟ الحمدللہ، مگر اکثر لوگ (اس سیدھی بات کو) نہیں جانتے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

اللہ نے ایک کہاوت بیان فرمائی ایک بندہ ہے دوسرے کی ملک آپ کچھ مقدور نہیں رکھتا اور ایک جسے ہم نے اپنی طرف سے اچھی روزی عطا فرمائی تو وہ اس میں سے خرچ کرتا ہے چھپے اور ظاہر کیا وہ برابر ہوجائیں گے سب خوبیاں اللہ کو ہیں بلکہ ان میں اکثر کو خبر نہیں - Ahmed Raza

And Allah coineth a similitude: Two men, one of them dumb, having control of nothing, and he is a burden on his owner; whithersoever he directeth him to go, he bringeth no good. Is he equal with one who enjoineth justice and followeth a straight path (of conduct)? - Pickthall, Marmaduke

اللہ ایک اور مثال دیتا ہے دو آدمی ہیں ایک گونگا بہرا ہے، کوئی کام نہیں کر سکتا، اپنے آقا پر بوجھ بنا ہوا ہے، جدھر بھی وہ اسے بھیجے کوئی بھلا کام اُس سے بن نہ آئے دوسرا شخص ایسا ہے کہ انصاف کا حکم دیتا ہے اور خود راہ راست پر قائم ہے بتاؤ کیا یہ دونوں یکساں ہیں؟ - Maududi, Abul A'ala
