قَالَ
(The One) said,
فَٱخْرُجْ
[Then get out
مِنْهَا
from this,
فَإِنَّكَ
thus it is that
رَجِيمٌۭ
you are an outcast!]
(The One) said, [Then get out from this, thus it is that you are an outcast!]

He said: Then go thou forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

ارشاد ہوا کہ تو یہاں سے نکل جا کہ تو مردود ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

رب نے فرمایا ——اچھا تو نکل جا یہاں سے کیونکہ تو مردود ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

فرمایا تو جنت سے نکل جا کہ تو مردود ہے، - Ahmed Raza

[And indeed
عَلَيْكَ
upon you is
ٱللَّعْنَةَ
the banishment
إِلَىٰ
up until
يَوْمِ

ٱلدِّينِ
the governance system.]
[And indeed upon you is the banishment up until day of the governance system.]

And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

and indeed the curse shall lie on you until the Day of Retribution.] - Qarai, Ali Quli

Iblees replied,
رَبِّ
[O Rabb!
فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ
Respite me
إِلَىٰ
up till
يَوْمِ
day
يُبْعَثُونَ
they will be raised.]
Iblees replied, [O Rabb! Respite me up till day they will be raised.]

He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [My Lord! Respite me till the day they will be resurrected.] - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Iblis prayed, [Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Judgment]. - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: My Lord! then respite me till the time when they are raised. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Satan said, [O my Lord! Grant me respite till the Day of Resurrection.] - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
اس نے کہا کہ پروردگار مجھے روز حشر تک کی مہلت دیدے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

اُس نے عرض کیا ——میرے رب، یہ بات ہے تو پھر مجھے اُس روز تک کے لیے مہلت دے جبکہ سب انسان دوبارہ اٹھائے جائیں گے—— - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بولا اے میرے رب تو مجھے مہلت دے اس دن تک کہ وہ اٹھائے جائیں - Ahmed Raza

اس نے کہا کہ اے میرے رب! مجھے اس دن تک مہلت دے جب لوگ دوبارہ اٹھائے جائیں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

جواب ملا کہ تجھے مہلت دیدی گئی ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

فرمایا تو ان میں سے ہے جن کو اس معلوم، - Ahmed Raza

فرمایا بے شک تو مہلت پانے والوں میں سے ہے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

Iblees replied,
رَبِّ
[O Rabb!
بِمَآ
Due to
أَغْوَيْتَنِى
You trapping me
لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ
so I will make attractiveness
لَهُمْ
for them
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the land,
وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ
and I will trap them
أَجْمَعِينَ
collectively.]

قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَآ أَغْوَيْتَنِى لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ Iblees replied, [O Rabb! Due to You trapping me so I will make attractiveness for them in the land, and I will trap them collectively.]
⦿
He said: My Lord! Because Thou hast sent me astray, I verily shall adorn the path of error for them in the earth, and shall mislead them every one, - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
He said, [My Lord! As You have consigned me to perversity, I will surely glamorize [evil] for them on the earth, and I will surely pervert them, all - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
Iblis said, [Lord, because you have caused me to go astray, I shall make earthly things attractive to (people) and mislead all of them - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
He said: My Lord! because Thou hast made life evil to me, I will certainly make (evil) fair-seeming to them on earth, and I will certainly cause them all to deviate - Shakir, Habib
⦿
He said, [My Lord, since You have let me go astray. I shall make the path of error seem alluring to them on the earth and shall mislead them all, - Wahiduddin Khan

اس نے کہا کہ پروردگار جس طرح تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا ہے میں ان بندوں کے لئے زمین میں ساز و سامان آراستہ کروں گا اور سب کو اکٹھا گمراہ کروں گا - Jawadi, Zeeshan

وہ بولا ——میرے رب، جیسا تو نے مجھے بہکایا اُسی طرح اب میں زمین میں اِن کے لیے دل فریبیاں پیدا کر کے اِن سب کو بہکا دوں گا - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بولا اے رب میرے! قسم اس کی کہ تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا میں انہیں زمین میں بھلاوے دوں گا اور ضرور میں ان سب کو بے راہ کروں گا - Ahmed Raza

اس نے کہا اے میرے رب! چونکہ تو نے مجھے گمراہ کیا ہے تو میں بھی زمین میں ان (بندوں) کے لئے گناہوں کو خوشنما بناؤں گا اور سب کو گمراہ کروں گا۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

مگر جو ان میں تیرے چنے ہوئے بندے ہیں، - Ahmed Raza

سوائے تیرے مخلص بندوں کے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad

مُسْتَقِيمٌ
stability.]
(The One) said, [This is the way upon stability.]

He said: This is a right course incumbent upon Me: - Pickthall, Marmaduke

He said, [This is the path [leading] straight to Me. - Qarai, Ali Quli

God said, [The path which leads to Me is a straight - Sarwar, Muhammad

He said: This is a right way with Me: - Shakir, Habib

God said, [This is the path which leads straight to Me. - Wahiduddin Khan

ارشاد ہوا کہ یہی میرا سیدھا راستہ ہے - Jawadi, Zeeshan

فرمایا ——یہ راستہ ہے جو سیدھا مجھ تک پہنچتا ہے - Maududi, Abul A'ala

ٱتَّبَعَكَ
who adhere to you
مِنَ
from
ٱلْغَاوِينَ
the limitless.]
[Indeed of My slaves not is for you upon them any authority, except of those who adhere to you from the limitless.]
⦿
Lo! as for My slaves, thou hast no power over any of them save such of the froward as follow thee, - Pickthall, Marmaduke
⦿
Indeed, as for My servants you do not have any authority over them, except the perverse who follow you, - Qarai, Ali Quli
⦿
and you have no authority over My servants except the erring ones who follow you. - Sarwar, Muhammad
⦿
Surely. as regards My servants, you have no authority, over them except those who follow you of the deviators. - Shakir, Habib
⦿
Surely, you shall have no power over My true servants, except those misguided ones who choose to follow you. - Wahiduddin Khan
⦿
میرے بندوں پر تیرا کوئی اختیار نہیں ہے علاوہ ان کے جو گمراہوں میں سے تیری پیروی کرنے لگیں - Jawadi, Zeeshan

بے شک، جو میرے حقیقی بندے ہیں ان پر تیرا بس نہ چلے گا تیرا بس تو صرف اُن بہکے ہوئے لوگوں ہی پر چلے گا جو تیری پیروی کریں - Maududi, Abul A'ala

بیشک میرے بندوں پر تیرا کچھ قابو نہیں سوا ان گمراہوں کے جو تیرا ساتھ دیں، - Ahmed Raza

جو میرے خاص بندے ہیں ان پر تیرا کوئی قابو نہ ہوگا سوائے ان گمراہوں کے جو تیری پیروی کریں گے۔ - Najafi, Muhammad
